Why would you ban any pokemon from pvp that is available to everyone in game? Are pvp players really that sweaty? It really sucks for the people who have good luck and get a good gensect or darkrai because the people who get bad nature/iv want them banned.

Well protean doesn't work at all, and for blaziken while it might be pretty strong is has plenty of checks and counters. Unless it is carrying thunder punch, water types such as slowbro can wall it, but then its going to be missing an important move which makes something else able to deal with it, for instance salamence/dragonite can switch into it safely. Also it is pretty vulnerable to priority moves, especially since it normally uses life orb. Talonflame and azumarill for instance both have super effective priority moves and resist both of blaziken's stab moves.
