Hello @00chains. Caught data is received the moment you have the Pokémon in your possession, through any means. Whether it's catching it yourself, evolving into it, receiving it as part of a trade, or even as a lend. It will all count towards caught data and will be reflected in your Pokédex. The requirements for certain quests include, x amount of registered pokemon in the pokedex. Either SEEN pokemon like for cerulean cave or CAUGHT. My question is, if you have not caught a pokemon, does trading for it fulfill the requirement for CAUGHT pokemon, to start a quest or unlock an area? For example, is the requirement 141 caught OR owned pokemon in kanto dex?
