  1. I want to add a lending option in PRO. You can lend Pokemon to others but if you trade money or items in the same trade they won't be returned automatically. The Pokemon cannot be returned if the users is currently in battle, but they will be returned instantly after the battle ended. Pokemon that are from other users will be RED colored in chats. So they can't be used to scam or fake auctions. Pokemon you lent from other users can only be traded to the original owner. The duration will always be sent in the trade request and confirmation. For example: You write [iCODE]/trade Eaty,1[/iCODE] and trade a Blaziken for 100k, the Blaziken will automatically be returned after 1 day while the money stays on the receivers account. Please tell me your opinions about it in this post!

  2. +1, I've seen way too many people complain about getting scammed afte lending mons to newer players so they can finish E4 and all that stuff. Nothing bad about this, I think the command should be lend though and it should say that someone has sent a lending request just to be extra clear about it.

  4. This seems like it would take WAY more time and effort than it's worth And also somehow I see it causing problems (such as people trying to sneak a rental stipulation in a deal where the other person thought they were BUYING the poke) How about we get simple things like baton pass working before we dive into this craziness Even with that aside I actually don't like the idea at all, this game has never given easy way outs (like making you have a lv80 rattata with YOUR OT), no reason to change that. IMO would only take away from the experience.. Plus I wonder how it would affect the market (aka devalue everything because no one needs to buy anything they can just rent)

  5. sound good but there should be a rule so the move set, lvl and stuff like that couldn't be interfered +1 If i trade a lvl 25 Graveler to get a golem, i don't want to get it the next day at lvl 50 ...

  7. While I support the idea of a council in principle, it is important to realize that it is much easier to criticize someone else's decisions than to make the correct one on your own. Although a player council may have better overall skill than staff, it is far from given that they would always make the right decisions. Whenever the question of whether or not something should be banned has been put to forums, there has always been a lot of parroting Smogon and very little legitimate discussion. We see nonsensical reasonings from even Top 25 players, and a prevailing opinion that stall is the root of all evil. Furthermore, players all have their own biases. Combined with the relatively less formal setting of PRO PvP compared to Smogon, this could quickly result in controversy and chaos. (See the first attempt at banning Shadow Tag from the Ubers tier) This, to me, indicates that a council with final authority to ban (such as Gen VI UU Council) would be a terrible idea. However, as stated previously, PRO's "suspect tests" leave a lot to be desired. Thus, a council possessing only the ability to slate problematic factors for suspect tests would be no different from staff putting them up to vote and be subject to the same weaknesses (mob mentality, Blissey probably being banned within the week for no good reason, etc.) The council should therefore also be able to set the requirements for suspect tests. These tests should require an overwhelming supermajority (75%?) to overturn the status quo, to prevent abuse. Finally, the more power the council has, the more drama will inevitably ensue about someone's favorite Pokemon being banned / escaping the banhammer. edit: I wonder how many of the supporters just want to be on the council :^)

  9. PVP Council Hi, I’m NJNP. I’m mostly known for my team building and high level tournament play on smogon. I’ve dipped into the competitive scene here in the past and I’ve fully immersed myself into pro after some push to come back. That is the goal of this post: to improve the pvp scene of pro. On smogon, most decisions especially competitive ones are made by a group of people. That group is called a council. That group generally is of some of the best players in their competitive format and has good knowledge on the meta-game. They proceed to make sure the metagame is in proper order and deal with problematic elements of the metagame as they appear. The council is generally known for holding suspects. The council is to see if these Pokémon are guilty of being killers of the meta or are they innocent and perfectly fine for the meta. The decision to what should be suspected is single handily up to the council but heavily influenced by the community. The council doesn’t suspect something that does not have community interest or concern. Generally before something is decided to be suspected, the council asks the community their opinions before they move forward with a decision. I feel a council would be great for pro pvp as megas are coming and legendaries are becoming more accessible. The council will aid the community in making decisions for the betterment of pvp. I’d want the council also to aid in creating an official viability rankings for pvp. I’m not sure exactly why one hasn’t been commissioned in the past but I think it would make sense for players regarded as the best at pvp to be able to help others understand what is good in the meta-game. I have 2 council concepts that can be decided or at least give an idea on the set up. Concept #1: 2 CO Leaders 1 From Silver 1 From Gold 3 Council Members 5 Members In Total Concept #2: 1 Leader Representing Both Servers 4 Council Members 5 Members In Total I’d like to hear people’s opinions on bringing a council to pro pvp and if anyone has any questions feel free to post them below and I’ll answer them.

  10. EDIT: this is a video that has help the amigos (former richest players in the whole game) to make many cash, it has some useful tips worth watching even if it got posted long ago The Amigos Discord server Join link https://discord.gg/WPgy9WJ ☆☆☆Tips by Kaminokage☆☆☆ 'First, i want to add : To price check PKM, it's easy. Just calculate for each PKM how many hours it takes in average to farm it. Find an hourly wage. And with your time and the hourly wage, you have your price. So, now you know how much you have to sell, and how much you can buy, easy game" ☆ "Don't farm PKM others players already farm if you want to resell. For example: For Xmas Event, don't farm Dratini ! Everybody farm it, just buy a Dratini on Trade if you want one, price will be very low. It will cost you less to buy it than farm it." ☆ "Tip to buy a PKM : No need to lower price ! If you want a PKM, it's because you need it for PVP or collection. It's hard to find goods PKM, don't lose time because you are skinflint. Just calculate the time you will need to farm the PKM, and with the hourly wage you will know if the price is too much or not. For example: your hourly wage can be Cerulean Cave; there you can make 20k per hour without MS. If you see a PKM that will make farm 50 hours in average : 50* 20k = 1m. If the price is lower than 1m, buy it, if the price is higher farm yourself" ---------------------------------- Thanks for reading, I Wish to improve this Guide/Tips and any more useful Ideas/Tips for anything releated to selling and buying, please comment them below your aid is very appriciated This guide has helped us a lot to the point that we have now reach over 200m+

  13. Yeah, if doing this isn't a lot of work, it's really only a quality of life increase for people who like to do Daycare Services and things. Now they can do their thing without anyone worrying that they might be out there to scam on them.

  14. it would be good question: the trade evo pokes(haunter, graveler etc..) will able to evolve when loaned?
    1 point
  15. nice idea but make sure theres enough notification so people know the trade is TEMPORARY and the pokemon will be returned, or this could be mistaken as a regular trade

  16. What if somebody release It?
    1 point
  17. This is my opinion but i have a few questions: +1 ,i agree this will reduce alot of problems about scams, But we need a forum post about every command and how this work@Eaty , but i have found some problems. 1-if i can lent the pokemon to a guy that i don't know and charge like 100k for that , the fact the pokemon goes to that guy, we dont even know if he can even change the moveset that the owner wasted in move egg sets"that is expensive in some cases". 2- there's another problem , i agree with this idea but, eventually theres people that will lent pokemons to pass every gym , my suggestion here is , lent pokemons certain lvl , equivalent of gym badge like 1st gym till lvl 20 etc..., not make people make story easy, or, make lent system in certain "area" or requirement , like for instance , the trade system that needs 4th gym. 3-Also it will fill the dex? if so i don't agree to that, this game is all about hunt and pvp. 4-What if the person delete the pokemon?
    1 point
  18. sounds good by me as long as it works right and no bug being taken place, +1 had some ideas btw, why not have double trade lending where both parties give out pkmns to each other for a certain period of time. .and if the pkmn turns out RED color in trade chat it would be best if it does turn out be trade-able till the request dead-line or releasable this is due to safety measures of the pkmn. that way lenders will have more trust and security regarding lending their pkmns.
    1 point
  19. This is a good caveat. Perhaps "lent" pokemon cannot gain EXP/EV this way their progress isn't interfered with/

  20. what happen if the poke is released?

  21. But if the person you loaned and she has taken ban? Does the pokemon automatically return to the owner?
    1 point
  22. In my opinion is a good idea other option to negociate your pokemons, but i think would need the option to dont change the moveset from the pokemon when you lend to other guy but yes is a very good idea ^^

  23. I'm forever giving my Pokemon to people for gyms and E4. Will this option be allowed to be used without monetary trading also? So I can give them for free for a set time? Reread: The Pokemon traded is returned automatically and the price determined is traded with the Pokemon, so I just give them the Pokemon and it comes back automatically anyway. Very good idea.

  29. I don't trust anybody or group that gets to create the rules that they play by. Like I said, if members of this council weren't eligible for PvP then it would be a different story, but nobody should get to make their own rules. It's a recipe for corruption, especially if you're picking from the people who are already at the top. It just makes them literally the ruling class of PvP. Example: If two thirds of the council played Garchomp (since you mentioned Garchomp), but most of the members wanted Garchomp banned, there's nothing compelling those people who play Garchomp to vote to ban. I don't know how Smogon tests or ratifies changes in their community, but if you really want to found a group that tests what's too strong, you should just form a group that records matches with the suspect pokemon, uploads the evidence of that pokemon or team being oppressively strong over so many matches, and then submit that for the game's population and for the staff to see. Transparent evidence is impossible to refute from players or staff. A council of elites isn't necessary to enact change, if you do due diligence in collecting evidence.

  35. Hopefully the game staff is willing, it would be for the betterment of pro. Most don’t actively play pvp to my knowledge so it be great for another party to regulate. I don't know why you would assume that the parties would make decisions in their best interest when it states that they refer to the community before making any decision or starting any suspect. If no one is talking about for example: Garchomp then the council can’t randomly suspect garchomp...if they were to for whatever reason the admins can reprimand/terminate the leader. The admins/mods here would elect the leader. The leader would then do his best to make a non bias selection on who represents the council. The council members can be council members as long as they wish but must be active and helping/repersenting the community. Who is on the council will most definitely be public knowledge. They should be held accountable just like any other party and be transparent with any decision.

  36. +1, just need to make sure the right people are on the council. Also, PRO needs its own council because the metagame isn't the same. On showdown you have things such as Kyurem-Black and Hoopa-Unbound and other things PRO may never have just running around the tier, causing their own influence on the metagame. It doesn't take much for a metagame to crumble, just 1 pokemon can make or break the game. For example, if Landorus-t were to disappear from gen 7 OU, the entire tier could potentially fall apart due to the amount of Pokemon it keeps in check. In PRO, I can't really think of a Pokemon that does the same, but I guess Ferrothorn is somewhat similar; being able to check a few things that could potentially be meta-breaking.

  38. Just a random suggestion for a joystick to move around with the android version, it’s kinda hard to move around with just sliding your finger and would be way easier with a see through joystick on the screen, Thanks for reading!

  40. Hello there, and foremost, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, as well as for the delay of response! Make sure that you actually got the legendary dogs seen datas by battling them accross Johto, and not from boss battles or elsewhere, for instance! You can see the Dogs' spots in our Legendary Megathread: Usually, people are missing Suicune because it has been moved around when the HM Waterfall got added to the game, and older guides still mention its old spot, so please have another check, if it's still an issue nowadays :Sing: I'm looking forward for your answer; until then, I wish you a great day, and happy holidays!
