Welcome to the 2nd iteration of the PRO Draft League, hosted by the Unofficial PRO Tournament Discord! As our previous League, hosted by Ascension, had a pretty satisfactory outcome, we have decided to bring it again, but with an even bigger Prize Pool than before! What is a Draft League? A Pokemon Draft League, similar to a Sports Draft, will start off by participants picking Pokemon, determined by a randomly generated seed, based on the Tiers Pokemon are placed in. This is the Drafting Phase. Afterwards, participants will be placed into 2 Groups, and will play matches with other players in their own groups. Until a certain week, players may make legal trades, whether with Pokemon left, or with other players. This is called the Group Stage. Once the Group Stage has finished, which will be dependent on the amount of players in a draft, a Top Cut will be selected based on win/loss records for the Final Stage. The Final Stage will be a Single Elimination Bracket, where the Top Participant of each Group will have a Bye, or will get to skip the first round. Please Note! A Draft League takes quite a while to finish (the previous one taking approximately 4 months), so If you ARE interested, please take time into consideration. Details Tournament Numbers Entry Fee: 200k Drafting Players' positions in the Drafting Phase will be randomized through Random.org. Players will then, in the order created through Random.org, pick Pokemon from Tiers 1-5 to fill their draft. Each Player MUST pick 1 Pokemon from Each Tier. There are also 4 Free Agent slots, which you may fill up with any Tier, but costs Points: Tier 1 : 180 Pts. Tier 2 : 120 Pts. Tier 3 : 100 Pts. Tier 4 : 60 Pts. Tier 5 : 40 Pts. Everyone also gets to pick ONLY 1 Pokemon that will be forced to Mega Evolve if used. This Pokemon is separate from the other picks. These also have tiers: Tier 1 Mega : 40 Pts. Tier 2 Mega : 0 Pts. Tier 3 Mega : +40 Pts. Everyone starts with a total of 400 Points. You do not have to use all your points, and you do not need to use all of your Free Agent Slots. You also do not have to pick Pokemon in order of their Tiers, as long as you have 1 Mega Pokemon, and a Pokemon from Each Tier by the end of the Draft. Prize Pool So far, a planned total of 7.2m has been put towards this Draft League. Entry Fees will also contribute to the Prize Pool, with an expected total Prize Pool of 12m, being divided among 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places: [spoiler=Expected Prize]1st - 6.8m 2nd - 3.3m 3rd - 1.5m 4th - 400k 3rd and 4th places will be determined by having the losers of the Semi Finals fight. Examples Here will be some examples of how the Draft League previously took place, and what you can expect. [spoiler=Draft Picks] [spoiler=During-Season Trading.] [spoiler=Sample Team Layout.] [spoiler=Group Stage Advancing] Note : Due to fewer participants, the last draft did not have top 10, but expect Challonge to look like the above spoiler. Contact: You can join the Unoffical Tournament Discord by using THIS LINK . Make sure to tag a Moderator or Admin, and let them know that you are interested in joining the Draft League!1 point

Hello, Just short before I begin explaining, please avoid comments like "This is not minecraft", because I am more than aware that it is not. I was thinking about something that could make PRO better in the long term, occupy players for longer periods and always give them some sort of perhaps, daily goal? I know the devs are in a rush now and working on many things, so this could work as some sort of an idea for the future ;). So let me start, PRO lacks some sort of activity that players could do and benefit from aside from usual pokemon farming and endgame boss fighting I am not counting Officer Jenny, since her quests are one time only and not really worth it. New players can usually only catch pokemon while on their journey to complete the story and can't do bosses. In the long run, players can get bored from hunting pokemon all the time or when they catch the pokemon they want, they could succumb to "burnouts" or loss of motivation from a lack of a goal. This leading to loss of playercount. Pokemon is a game with infinite replayability, indeed. But there will come a time when people get tired from always hunting hours for that epic h.a. tier 8 pokemon. So I thought about what do people do while trying to catch pokemon or do bosses? They travel, they travel in grass, encounter wild pokemon... and run from them. Runing from wild common pokemon because they have no use for them. What if we gave them a purpose? What if we encouraged people to hunt even more?! What if we could give players a permanent side goal they would continuously complete and maintain their motivation when they aren't able to catch that perfect pokemon? Here comes my idea, brace yourselves :D It is adding a crafting system, a new tab, that would allow players to utilize random wild encounters to craft common items up to better ones? Sounds pretty wild, doesnt it? Lemme explain: -I suggest that we could add material drops that you would recieve from any pokemon encounter when you kill/catch it What I mean by that is, that every pokemon would drop its unique material after you would defeat or catch it. The higher the pokemon tier, the higher the material rarity. This could transform annoying wild encounter while traveling, into juicy re-stocking opportunities. Example: 1 Rattata drops 1 Rattata fur after battle -I suggest that we would be able to craft different items from these materials like potions or pokeballs! Not every player wants to spend his money on buying basic, one use items. Instead, crafting and gaining materials while normaly playing the game would reward the more active and devoted players that already invested thousands of hours into the game, by giving the opportunity to utilize all the efforts they've invested into the game by essentialy, "removing the money cost of base items" if they have enought resources. This could also help new players while on their journey when money is not around. Example: PRO players wouldnt need to spend crazy amounts of money on repels when they would be able to craft them! -Insane opportunities for better in-game events and for the player's motivation! The crafting system could have infinite ways it could be used! We could craft through it event exclusive items instead of having to catch tier 8 pokemon and gaining "coins" to buy items in the shop (I am looking at you, recent Halloween event), acquire crafting recipes through in-game events that would or would not disappear after the event, to get the possibility to make yourself event clothes for example. Players that dont intend to hunt hours for pokemon or arent interested would also have something to chase after they completed the main event quest. -I suggest adding various recipes to obtain as all kinds of rewards. Recipes can be used in many places as exclusive ways of gaining rewards. Example: When an event begins, all players would gain a limited time recipe for event items for them to craft. Recipes for exclusive clothes from defeating a PVE boss. PVP random or shop purchases. Rewards from quests. -I suggest the crafting system itself :P. The crafting system would be a tab just like the inventory, pokedex, etc... You would be able to access it anytime and craft anything you currently need. You would be able to view the amount of each material you have in a new tab in the inventory. The crafting tab would be a place where you could view all the available items to craft. You would select one by clicking at it, viewing the required amount of each material, being able to write manualy the amount of the crafted items, and being able to craft it! Example: We could also add a little "info" icon next to each material to get an indication on where to find it. -I mini-suggest :D This could also be a future way of obtaining/making mega stones (maybe Z-stones too...) You could perhaps obtain the recipe for making each individual mega stone from its own quest and once unlocked, you could maybe craft it for a high material price of course. I have the feeling, that I listed the majority of the positive effects it could bring, now, to the negative part: -Making possible to craft clothes could slightly break the economy, only if the clothes would be made tradable. -A crap ton of work for the small PRO dev team. (That's why I listed this only as a side idea for when the major issues were being done dealing with) Bottomline, I think this would be an increadible and very unique way of giving the players a chance of getting something extra out of their normal playtime and I think it still has a lot more potential than I said in this suggestion post. Thank you so much for reading my whole post ;) Filda.1 point

I don't really like the idea of crafting in Pokemon, also pretty much every other game nowadays has a crafting feature. The idea isn't creative. I would however suggest something like the Item Recycler for Pokemon - The Pokemon Recycler. You are sick and tired of having to trash pokemon all the time because your limited box space isn't enough for you? Go recycle those trash poke and gain items like potions and pokeballs that way. You could also include a feature that increases the rarity and amount of your prize depending on the iv's you submit. This would also be easy to implement, since the core mechanic already exists.1 point

I have already spoken about this before, but I have several new reasons of why would the implementation of this mechanic be a positive change for the community. Of course, the requirements would be simple, at least a full team of six pokémon that are level 50 or above. 1. I strongly believe that casual players would use the unranked queue more often, as I have seen many rookie players wanting to battle without even having finished the elite four Kanto, but can't do it because they can't use the queue, therefore asking in the chats for a battle/challenging everyone in their screen. This would be a good way for novice players to learn more about pvp, since we all know fighting npcs is VERY different from pvp. 2. This would make guild events like themed battle ones way more easier to participate in (assuming you will be able to set all pokémon to level 50 if you want in challenged battles also) because the people who don't have the time to grind their pokémon to level 100, nor the money to pay for training services, will be able to participate easier, instead of having to go to showdown. Of course evs and moves will still take time and some money, but not as much as training all the way to lvl 100/spending rcs/buying rcs. 3. It will incentivate more players into pvp. As I said before, the easier access with less grinding to an unranked pvp, will make those casual players more interested in pvp. I have seen the cases of many players that stopped playing because they were mainly interested in pvp, but they didn't have the time to get a full team, and going on with their life at the same time, therefore losing interest in it. I must say again that all of this is for UNRANKED ladder, or for CHALLENGES. Not for ranked battles, as ranked is supposed to be for hard core pvpers, and I think it is perfect how it is.1 point

You have to be in a guild for at least 7 days for the rating to count to the guild rating. Have a nice.1 point

Their should be a time limit that you must be in a guild for a certain amount of time for your rating to be put into the total guild rating.(like 5-10 days) Alot if guilds at the end of the season try to buy players and get other guilds to join them to get to top. It should only count the true members that actually stay in the guild for some time which will make it more fair in my opinion.1 point

Disagree, pokémon main series games don't require lvl 100 pokémon to get into pvp, so here you got it completely wrong. Some people just don't care about getting a reward or not, they just want to battle. And as I have stated before, this is not for the hardcore pvpers like some of us, it is for the casual players mainly. I don't know if the word is "improve". I just want pvp to be more accessible for (again) more casual players.1 point
