PRO PvP Speed Tiers Speed stats are an important defining characteristic of each Pokémon species. They determine the order of moves made by Pokémon during a battle. Assuming an equal level of priority, Pokémon with a higher Speed stat at the start of any given turn will make a move before those with lower Speed. In the case of a Speed tie, which occurs when two Pokémon have the same Speed, one of them will randomly go first. Speed-altering moves, like Dragon Dance or Hammer Arm, only start affecting a Pokémon’s Speed on the following turn. You should first identify the maximum Speed of the Pokémon of your choice. You must take into account its Speed IVs and, based on the Pokémon that you want it to outspeed, distribute its EVs accordingly. For example, if your Jolly Gliscor has 31 Speed IVs, you can give it 112 EVs to reach 279 Speed and outspeed any non-Choice Scarf Timid Heatran with max Speed IVs and EVs (i.e., 278 Speed). If your Jolly Gliscor only has 26 IVs, you can give it 132 Speed EVs to achieve the same feat. When you do this, it is best to assume perfect IVs for opposing Pokémon. This thread will only provide the Speed stats of currently viable Pokémon, so it will not cover every single Pokémon in the game, since it primarily is a PvP-focused resource. The updated Viability Rankings can be found here. For individual PvP sets for each viable Pokémon, you may check out this resource. Both threads will continue to be updated in the future with more accurate and relevant information. Since there are far too many viable Speed tiers and Pokémon sets, some will understandably be missing from the list. For example, you may encounter a Bold Volcarona with 240 or 241 Speed or a Pokémon not even mentioned in this thread. Similarly, you may also run into a Zapdos with an unlisted Speed number. Many players do not have perfect Speed IVs on all their Pokémon and some opt for unusual or custom EV spreads tailored according to the needs of their teams. The following Speed tier list is separated into six different tiers: Pokémon with 500+ Speed, those with 400+ Speed, those with 300+ Speed, those with 200+ Speed, those with 100+ Speed, and those with less than 100 Speed. The items within each tier are arranged in descending order, that is, from the fastest Pokémon to the slowest. In some cases, specific scenarios or boosts are taken into account. For example, Trace Mega Alakazam using its ability to copy Sand Rush or Swift Swim becomes twice as fast as normal when the relevant weather is up. Only 2 additional Speed stages will be counted at most for Pokémon that can boost their own Speed thanks to Quiver Dance, Dragon Dance, Beast Boost, etc. Tier 0: 500 and above Pokémon Base Nature EVs Pokemap – Interactive Map for Pokemon Revolution Online Pokemap is a fan-made, interactive map for Pokemon Revolution Online (PRO). The tool allows players to view all in-game regions and locate key landmarks—especially boss characters—on one comprehensive map. Accessible directly through a web browser. Features: 1. Interactive World Map Region Navigation: Users can pan around the map and zoom in/out to explore various regions such as Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, etc. The map marks important locations along with the positions of in-game bosses. 2. Boss Tracking and Management Boss Location and Cooldown Tracking: Boss icons are marked on the map, and players can click on them to view details. The system allows marking a boss as defeated, while automatically keeping track of its cooldown (time until it can be challenged again). It also monitors the weekly limit of up to 20 defeated bosses, notifying the user when they approach this threshold. 3. Custom Route Planning Route Creation and Management: Players can design their own routes by selecting bosses in a preferred order. Routes can be saved, named, and later loaded for repeated use. Additionally, the system supports exporting routes to a JSON file or importing previously saved routes, facilitating sharing and backup. 4. Multi-Profile System Profile Management: The application supports the creation of multiple user profiles. Each profile can have its own set of saved routes, boss statuses, pokestop statuses, excavitions statuses, map settings (such as camera position), and weekly boss counters. This feature is especially useful for users managing multiple accounts or sharing the tool on a single device. 5. Search and Filtering Efficient Navigation: An integrated search function allows users to quickly find a specific location, pokemon or item by entering its name. Upon selection, the map centers on the chosen location, making navigation easier. Filters: Users can filter displayed information, such as showing only bosses / pokestops / excavitions from a selected region or hiding all boss icons / pokestops icons / excavitions icons for a cleaner view of the map area. 6. Easy Access and No Login Requirement Instant Use: Since the application runs entirely in the browser ( hosted via GitHub Pages), no registration or login is required. All data—like saved routes and boss status—is stored locally in the browser, making it easy to start using immediately. I really feel the sinnoh's underground NPC dialogue should change then, I mean below is the following list of dialogue I got. South-Western Room. Elenea : I've seen four kind of Crystal so far. what about you? come tell me if you find any more! (A good info 20/20) Trevor : The Sandslash I just caught dosen't seem particularly enthusiastic about digging holes. (no value in his quote) Miguel : Back in my day we got 2PvE Coins and were HAPPY with it (no value in his quote) South-Eastern Room. Nancy : Ever heard rumors of the secert glade hidden deep within Eterna Forest? (Sounds like random quote from base game) Ivor : Apparently, the treasure room has better stuff if you solve the puzzle in less tries! (Perfectly fine quote 20/20 would Ivor again) Elias : I miss the old puzzle. (no value in his quote) North-Eastern Room. Albert : I can't Believe every spot leads to treasure now! I just have to figure out this puzzle… (He's lying, every spot leads to a crystal NOT a treasure) Sabrina: My Arcanine loves digging! He finds mostly Fire crystals, but he's so excited every time! (Sounds like random meaningless npc quote from base game but it's a hint) Joel : My head hurts. I just want to revive my fossils. (Sounds like random meaningless npc quote from base game) South-Western Room. Silvia : Ever since the boss allowed Pokemon to dig here, I see more and more new faces! (Sounds like random meaningless npc quote from base game) Denis : My Onix only ever seems to dig up Rock crystals his first few tries, but he loves it here so I bring it daily anyways! (Sounds like random meaningless npc quote from base game but it's a hint) Todd : This cave really makes me feel uneasy… There aren't even any Bug-types here. Instead, some old guy released a bunch of Probopass around here for no Reason! One of them seemed unstable... (That sounds way more like a clue than any other NPC here, but it's not a clue for main treasure room only secret one) Only two NPC even mention the fact that you can change the crystal type you'll get (Denis and Sabrina), one of them (Todd) tells you something about the probopass that sounds a lot like a hit. None of them tells you that you CAN get softlocked, that's harsh. If I diden't found your answer about it NOT beeing RNG I could have sworn it was having dug up 4ground, 3rocks, 8fire and 1water while having no rock type in my party but having water, ground and fire types and not modifying the digging pkm or my party order. From the data I had I coulden't deduce anything even after I softlocked. Anyway I think paying 3k fee to enter a daily quest you can't understand without a guide or a confirmation of how it works by an admin feels very wrong, at least every other daily has either guarented reward/progression (like digging spots) or has clear explanation (bug/fishing contest). Sinnoh's underground is the only one I can think of that can litterally be rewardless and has no clear explanation of what's going on. The fact that this daily is in sinnoh (the only island cut off from the other main 3 region) already makes it underwhelming and not worth going for unless you're rich, I think it shoulden't be the case. TLDR: I think you should either make every npc give a hint of how it works, explain it clearly somewhere, or give a consolation prize to those who got softlocked. Sinnoh's underground was already not a popular daily; don't make it even less appealing. I was really hyped about the underground revamp, seeing updates and rework to make unpopular dailies better is what gave me the will to comeback in the game but I feel it's frustrating for all the wrong reasons and I'm really disapointed now.1 point

Hey, its a known issue and not intented, it will be fixed in the future1 point

Hello there. At the moment, there is no ETA for any of the things you have mentioned I'm afraid. New Pokemon are added in frequent updates. A recent example would be the addition of some Pokemon from the Hisui Region. Regarding major game updates like the Server merge and new regions/Pokemon, please keep an eye on the official Discord for announcements. I'll lock this topic now, but if you need any help in future you know where to go! Have a great day! Houndstone1 point

Intiny Graii's life began in the shadows of loss and unanswered questions. Her father, once a revered Pokémon trainer who had earned badges across Kanto and Johto, disappeared while pursuing the legendary Mewtwo. His body was later discovered on Cinnabar Island, surrounded by a group of Ditto, in a strange and unsettling scene that left everyone who knew him baffled. The true cause of his death remains a mystery, one that has haunted Intiny and her family for years. After his death, Intiny inherited her father's hard-earned badges and his Pokémon, but the painful memories lingered. Seeking a fresh start, she and her mother relocated to the Hoenn region. There, as her mother’s health gradually deteriorated, Intiny supported them by foraging for berries. In these quieter moments, her mother passed down their beloved Pikachu—a small, steadfast electric companion that quickly became her closest friend. Intiny’s journey as a trainer truly began one day while she was picking berries, only to be surrounded by a group of thugs. When they attempted to threaten her, Pikachu retaliated with a powerful shock, sending the attackers running. This spark of courage ignited something deep within Intiny, and she knew that she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a trainer in her own right. It wasn’t long before an elderly man appeared in her life, offering her a newly hatched Torchic. Though her mother feared that history would repeat itself, losing another loved one to the unpredictable life of a Pokémon trainer, she allowed the Pokémon to stay with Intiny, giving her the chance to forge her own path. When her mother passed away, Intiny was left with a heavy heart and a world of uncertainty. In the midst of her grief, she bought a pickaxe and enlisted her father’s Pokémon—Ninetales and Dragonair—as mounts. With Pikachu and Torchic by her side, she set out on a journey to create her own legacy, leaving behind the pain of her past. The only thing she took with her was her father’s Pokédex—an invaluable tool that would guide her as she ventured into the unknown.1 point

A story update: Intiny’s journey to discover herself began in Hoenn, a land she had come to know through years of travel and exploration. She roamed its forests, scaled its mountains, and sailed its oceans, becoming intimately familiar with every route, every hidden path, and every local legend. Hoenn was her home, but it was also a vast, changing world she had come to understand with a deep, personal connection. Every bend in the road, every turn in the river, was part of the fabric of her journey. When she found herself stranded on the moon, far from the world she knew, Intiny’s resilience was put to the ultimate test. It was the kind of challenge that could break anyone, but not her. She navigated the unfamiliar terrain, retracing her steps, exploring every inch until even the barren landscape felt like a second home. Through that experience, Intiny proved that no matter how far from home she went, she could find her way back, just as she always had in Hoenn. After earning her eighth gym badge, Intiny thought she was ready for whatever came next. But then, an unexpected email arrived that changed everything. It revealed that the Pokémon her father had left for her were now available. In that moment, she learned that her father had caught them in her name, ensuring they would someday be hers. Memories of Dragonite, once a tiny Dratini she had cared for as a child in Kanto, came flooding back. What she hadn’t known was that her father had obtained Dragonite through a trade, spending a large sum of money on it. The realization left her feeling both stunned and grateful. What amazed her most, however, was the power Dragonite had gained over the years. It was far stronger than the Dragonair she ridden across Hoenn’s oceans. In that moment, Intiny knew what she had to do. Since her father had never become a Pokémon Champion, she would carry on his legacy; she would take some of his Pokémon with her and face the Elite 4 in Hoenn, fighting for the title in his honor. When the battles began, Dragonite left her in awe. With Swords Dance and Outrage, it easily swept through the first three Elite 4 members. As she watched her father’s Pokémon in action, she couldn’t help but wonder why he had never taken the Champion title. But by the time she stood victorious and crowned as Hoenn’s newest Champion, she realized something; she wasn’t the same uncertain young girl who had once wandered aimlessly. She had become a strong, confident woman who knew how to face challenges head-on. After the battle, she changed into the Kimono her late mother had given her, a symbol of all she had achieved. As she looked back on her journey, she realized how far she had come. She was no longer the teenager searching for her place; she was a Champion, and she had earned it with everything she had, and with her time spent traveling Hoenn, learning its secrets, and pushing herself to her limits, she had to give it her all. Just as she was reflecting on her victory, a man approached her while she shared her story about being stranded on the moon with some adoring fans. He spoke of Sinnoh, a place she had never heard about, and told her that she had a grandmother there, someone she had never known. The man, a friend of her father’s, also mentioned Team Galactic and said that in Sinnoh, Champions played “hide and seek with the stars.” Without hesitation, Intiny decided to set out for Sinnoh. The journey was far from easy, but she didn’t mind; she had traveled enough to know that the hardest paths often led to the greatest adventures. As she rushed to catch a boat, she realized that the future was full of endless possibilities, just like the many roads she had already traveled in Hoenn. She wasn’t afraid of what lay ahead. She was her father’s daughter, strong, determined, and ready to face whatever came next. She was ready for her next chapter in life, with her Pikachu still resting on her head.1 point

That would be something for the box-rework which is already on the devs to-do list: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159019-dev-to-do-list/#comment-8811151 point

Hey, I pretty much completely rewrote everything. The old version is pretty useless by now because so many spawns changed and it doesn't work with the new spawn dump structure, so there is no feasible way to update the spawn database. The spawn chance predictions are gone because the new spawn dumps don't provide the information required for it to work. It was more guesswork than provably correct in the first place. With no further ado, I present to you the 2023 Update: Feature changes: Better Spellchecker - The old one had some annoying bugs, this one should work more reliably and less intrusively. Better presentation of results - No more issues with spacing! Better GUI - You can resize the application window now without breaking everything. Also, right-clicking in the result table opens a pop-up menu that lets you copy or directly search for what's below. Better internals - Finally using Java8 standard methods instead of relying on very old ones. Better repel check - The old one was very unreliable, so wrote a new one from scratch. It should be more accurate and less prone to breaking. It should also work for time-sensitive repel spawns if there are any. Better updating - You can keep the spawn dumps and the files that depend on it updated by letting the app handle all the downloading and replacing. Don't worry about flooding PRO's servers, the routine makes sure that an update is reasonable before connecting to the server. Better maintainability - If you are modifying and building this app yourself, you will find that the new structure is way more intuitive. The GUI now actually only does GUI stuff instead of being a band-aid for everything. ActionEvents are handled by different classes, so there is no overlap in functionality. Enjoy. I figured it would be better to publish this is a new thread because it's basically a completely new application behind the same idea. Due to heavy refactoring and rewriting, this version is not compatible with the old one at all, so please report any issues or requests you have with the 2023 edition in this new thread instead. Hey, I will answer this thread as the leader of the mapper team because I wont accept accusations in that form based on uninformed assumptions. First of all I would like to clarify that its not the devs who are working on content, instead there are different staff roles like Scripters, Artists, Mappers, Testers that are required for content projects like Astrella and any other content addition. Many resources, work and time is required from these different teams. We are not a company with a set employee count and worktime, instead we are regular people who have their own real jobs, school, studies etc., with families, children, hobbys and other interests., we are working for free and in our own free time, next to all IRL-responsibilities to provide PRO more content. Anyone out of the different content-teams could have less time for any reason at any moment or anyone could also leave the staff team completly for more important matters in their real life. That is why it is really hard or rather impossible to predict how long a project like that may take and to give updates about the project in general without either leaking more than we want to or to give the community false hope. We have to take so many different factors in mind, so in the end giving updates about the project would just make the situation worse. I understand the players frustration on this but you also have to keep in mind that Astrella was passed through so many different staff members already, many left and many joined. It is not easy at all to keep track of a project like that unfortunately, we are trying our best though. The fact that it was announced this early was obviously a mistake back then and the content-team suffers from it a lot as the playerbase was expecting it soon, leading to many comments that can de-motivate anyone working on it. The people who are currently working on Astrella are the ones you are blaming but we werent the ones to announce it or built hype around it, instead we are the ones trying to save the project and bring it to the players regardless of anything else. We were short-staffed, presented with low free-time or other unforseen events a lot over the last few years and it was and is still hard to meet the expectations of the playerbase. It is hard to release new content for events and content in general (new forms, mounts, cosmetics etc. from artists, new maps from mappers, new quests from scripters etc.) every year while still working on a big project like Astrella which requires full focus usually. As you probably noticed in the past, we skipped some event-content releases to focus more on Astrella but there was still other stuff we released, however I can assure you that the progress on Astrella didnt suffer from that, we only worked on other things if we couldnt work on Astrella for some time for different reasons (resources needed from another team first for example). Many things had to be reworked as well because it was simply outdated or wasnt correct (story- and map-wise for example). Personally speaking I am looking forward to still put my time, love and effort into this project, together with the others from the content-team. Astrella is the main focus for the coming time but please try to understand the current content-team for all the things I explained in this message.1 point

Developers to-do list: //This list is ordered alphabetically. It's just what we have on our to-do list. Auction House //An auction house that'll be usable in-game and on the Dashboard. Battle animation adjustments //That mainly affects the catch animation and a few small adjustments. Battle log //Some plans but probably not easy with ngui. Box rework //A general box rework to add more filters, split the boxes, add mass delete and so on. Double battles //Battle together with your friends and against your enemies within and outside the story! Dungeon á la Mystery Dungeons //Player will have to climb maps as a Pokemon. Repetitive content with a chance of different rewards at the top. Dynamic window layering //There are so many window layering problems recently that I rather add dynamic window layering a la Windows. Event icons rework //The current icon code is really, really bad and needs a rework so we can easily add more information/icons. EXP rework //Our EXP formular is wrong and uses the wrong value for the exp group. This might need a complete spawn and trainer level rework for the story. EXP share //EXP share à la gen2 where the Pokemon that held the item always got its EXP share. Fishing Rework //We plan to make it a mini-game similar to how fishing works in Minecraft. Fixing all incorrectly coded moves and abilities //https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/233061-list-of-broken-moves-abilities-items-in-pro/ Forum change //Xenforo is everything but not user-friendly nor easy to work with and we need to get rid of unique emails. Higher PvP rating at season start //Would like to start the season with a higher rating so you can actually lose something. Illusion //Hard to do cause you need to send different pokes to each user which requires a rework of the code at 180 different places. In-game layer rework //The character and map layer client code is a mess but that's a mammoth project. Ladders in client UI //Show all kind of ladders in the client UI. That includes OU Ranked, Random Ranked and Total Playtime. Lending Trade //Probably needs another rework from scratch. Mail adjustments //Check whether an item is mailable or not when putting it in the mail and not after trying to send it and a mail confirmation to avoid sending it to the wrong user. Make flying mounts/followers keep flying while standing still //Upgrade of the animation capability for the character sprites. Possibly new animation options. Mod tools updates //Mainly for GMs, a few fixes and small feature requests. Nuzlocke Server //A just for fun server with Nuzlocke features. Data cannot be transferred to live servers. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nuzlocke_Challenge PRO Editor updates //Many, many updates for the PRO Editor as well as a map server rework from scratch which is already done. The editor is currently in a not working state. PvP elo system //Easy to say, hard to do. PvP encounter rating limit //An option to not encounter users with more than 100 PvP rating less than you. PvP battle replay //Save, play, review and share your battles. PvP battle spectate //Option to allow others to spectate your battles, possibly with a delay. Random Battles and ladder //Not much to say about. Reconnect //That's not only for PvP but in general so users that disconnect unplanned reconnect without even realizing it in the background. Very complex problems. Rework multi-hits //In handhelds every multi-hit has its own damage calculation, crit chance and so on. Required for Parental Bond. Rework winning order //Right now, moves like Destiny Bond and recoil let the wrong user win if both die the same turn. Server merge //Merge gold and silver together and increase the box limit from 1000 to 2000. Show Pokemon and whether they are dead or alive in PvP battles //Initially planned to replace the Pokeballs with the Pokemon sprite but the Pokemon sprites are too big, and resizing them makes it impossible to identify the Pokemon. Android cannot see anything so they were added elsewhere. Slider to change how many users you can see on the same map //To unburden old hardware without the need to use foreveralone. Options to see friends- and/or guildies-only as well. Terrains //Terrain moves, the needed abilities and Terrain Extender for Tapus. Player/Social window rework //Similar rework as PvP window but for the social tab. We could possibly add following features: Boss Cooldowns Page: NPC sprite, name, location, current win-streak, cooldown timer, weekly boss limit counter, friendlist: status message, last online, guild: last online, user rating, Input field with an invite button, guild creating in social/player window, /foreveralone check box, time ladder, PMs enabled for everyone/friends option instead of using the online status as indicator. Team Builder //Create teams with your Pokemon and replace your whole team with a single click instead of looking for every Pokemon in your box. Transform and Imposter //Ditto needs some love. Two-factor authentication //With 2FA, you need to use two things to prove it's really you before you can log into your account. For example, you might need to enter your password (that's one factor) and then type in a special code that's sent to your phone (that's the second factor). By using 2FA, it's harder for someone else to get into your account because they would need to have both your password and access to your phone. Username borders //Didn't think about it any further. Visual for active stat changes //Not sure how to do that yet, might be a space-related problem. Visual for environment moves //Probably just a new background as long as the rooms are active, Artists where are you? Z-Moves //Boom, baam, damage, yknow.. ▣ High priority ▣ Normal priority ▣ Low priority ▣ Completed Please do not suggest any of the features/planned changes above as they are already on our to-do list!1 point

Do you have basic programming knowledge and a willingness to apply this knowledge to help further the development of PRO? Read thoroughly below, and then apply if you satisfy the requirements. Requirements Tangibles: You must have been around the project for at least 3 months (mention your earliest-registered account name in the application for us to verify). 100-plus hours clocked on an account in-game. You already completed a variety of quests in PRO. A clean track record on your account (note: it does not need to be completely pristine; even if you have had milder offenses, they may be overlooked depending on how long ago they were, how your behavior has changed since, and the its severity relative to the nature of the position). Have a Discord Account as it will be the main way for staff to communicate. Be 18 years of age or older. Intangibles: At least basic knowledge of the programming language Python. Fluency in the English language. In addition to writing the logic-coding of NPC scripts, you will also be responsible for the dialogues of NPCs by virtue of your access to and control over the scripts - proper grammar, spelling, and syntax is expected in that regard. Characteristical integrity. Due to our content-sensitive access to NPC scripts and control thereof, this is one of the most trust-sensitive positions in the game; as such, there will be no shortage of scrutiny with our candidates. Willingness to learn new things. To submit your application, please PM AlCedo, preferably on Discord (AlCedo#2920). Please specify your experience in computational languages with as much detail as possible (Github would be good). Applicants who do not meet the tangible requirements or specify their experience will automatically be denied for the near future. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our recruitment criteria, feel free to ask before applying. Note that all staff work is voluntary! This is not a career, but a hobby instead. When applications are open, there will be an announcement on our Discord Server as well as a bump to this post.1 point

There is a lot of thought that has to go into a good suggestion. There are several things to consider, but here are a few things that you should check to see if your suggestion may be considered for implementing. Is my suggestion feasible? This is possibly the most important question to ask yourself. Think about whether your suggestion is possible, is it a good idea or should I rethink it slightly? For a suggestion to really be considered, it must be possible to do despite our technical restraints. You need to make sure that your suggestion is practical. You should also consider timescales. Would it take the developers a long time, or could it be a quick and easy job? How does my suggestion benefit the community? This is where you ask yourself if your suggestion would this be impactful to PRO. Would your suggestion affect the majority of the community or just a small portion? Think about how it would affect everyone. Remember that this game is for everyone and therefore your suggestion must not only benefit yourself. You could specify whether it would be a small quality of life update, or if it is absolutely mandatory that your suggestion happens. Strengths and Weaknesses Every suggestion has a good and bad side to it, therefore it's good to acknowledge the different consequences that your suggestion may come with. It's also good to evaluate the positive aspects to see if the negatives are worth it, or to further explain why your suggestion should be implemented. Your idea might sound good or interesting at the beginning, but there could be a lot of negative aspects outweighing the positives. Suggestions listed in this section have already been denied in the past and are non-negotiable. Any topic created that suggests or is similar to something listed below will be instantly locked. Alternative Payment Alternate payment methods have been suggested in the past several times before. We understand that it may be inconvenient to donate via Paypal in certain countries, but this will ultimately depend on our developer's discretion since there are limitations on his ability to accept donations from other payment methods. Nevertheless, we apologize for any inconveniences. Breeding Breeding has been removed as a way of converting a predominantly single player game into an MMO. PRO has chosen to go for a more social, imperfect pokemon approach. Breeding unfortunately would make everyone self-sufficient, walking around with eggs and have no need to rely on other people. The current hunting system prioritizes hunting and selling. Breeding would also ruin the rarity system and economy. In the case of rare pokemon, like Dratini, if everyone has the ability to breed, they would be worth less than 10k within days and no one would be farming, defeating the purpose of the MMO. Changing Nicknames of Pokemon This is hard to manage, as it's easy to abuse a nickname system and submit inappropriate nicknames. Furthermore, nicknaming would add extra data per Pokemon - this might not sound like a lot, but it all adds up very quickly to overstrain the database unnecessarily. This suggestion has been and will continue to be denied. Community Muting System or Reputation System This is easy to exploit and therefore will be denied. Reputation Systems are also usually vulnerable to many types of attacks. Encounter Rate We will not give any percentage of encounter rate of pokemon. Players will need to find by themselves. Experience and Money-Making Items/Moves This includes the Exp. Share, Lucky Egg, Amulet Coin, Pay Day and anything of the like. These things won't be implemented as they may ruin the economy and ultimately make items easier to acquire, which goes against PRO's goal of being an MMO. Additionally, Membership is also a reason why it's not added. Free Switches in Battle The game is deliberately made to be played on 'Set' mode, meaning you will have to switch Pokemon manually. This also means that you're not able to freely switch when an enemy pokemon faints. This has been implemented to increase the difficulty and challenge of the game. iOS or Windows Phone Client for PRO Unless Apple opens up their OS development to 3rd party applications, this will not be possible to implement. Furthermore, iOS doesn't have enough resources to let PRO work on it. As for Windows Phones, we would require a suitable device to test on. Not only that, but this would push back update releases, which are far more important. Finally, the amount of people who would use it would be too few to outweigh the added resources needed to implement this. Making All Legendary Pokemon Obtainable or Tradeable PRO allows players to catch certain legendary Pokemon with 600 base stat totals or below. Any legendary Pokemon with higher base stat totals are not obtainable. Legendaries are considered rare rewards that players can only obtain after completing long quest-lines or as large event rewards, both needing investment of enough time and effort to achieve. Additionally, legendaries will always be untradeable. This allows them to be in-game without ruining the game's economy. Making Headbutt or Dig Spawns Visible on the Map This is implausible due to technical limitations. Headbutt trees are coded differently, which makes it very difficult to implement a spawn list. We would need to manually write out a huge amount of lines. For every single change, we would need to change and manually rewrite that list again and again. Dig would have the same issues as Headbutt. This is time-consuming work with little payoff while there are many other high-priority items for staff to take care of. Several members of the community have already compiled lists of Headbutt/Dig spawns per route in the Game Guides section, so you can refer to that instead. Reducing Boss Battle Cooldowns If you lost to the boss NPC, that means that you need to prepare properly the next time you face them. Bosses are meant to be challenging, after all. If you crashed during your boss battle, we unfortunately can't provide further assistance for crash issues, since PRO is in beta and bugs/crashes are expected to happen during the development process. Running Shoes You already walk at 1.5x times the regular speed from the Handhelds. That is only .5 slower than the running shoes. If you want to go faster, you are free get a bike by obtaining a Ditto and turning it in for a bike voucher in Vermilion, which allows you to purchase a bike from the Cerulean bike store for 60k. You can also get a mount by buying onne from the Coin Shop or completing the Arcanine Mount Quest. Using NPCs to Trade Evolve Trade-evolving is a good reason to meet with other people, make friends, and join a guild. It also adds to the MMO dimension. If you're concerned about being scammed by the other user, make sure to take a screenshot of the trade-evolution agreement and trade window. Report the user in the Report Center if they do steal your Pokemon. If you don't feel you can trust any other users, you can find a staff member and ask them to help you with your trade-evolution instead. You can also make a post on the Evolution and Deleveling Megathread. Suggestions that fall under the following categories have a chance to be implemented into the game. However, there is no guarantee that they will be implemented due to different technological and time constraints. Nevertheless, you are free to express your opinions, but please remember that they may be denied. Adding and Translating Other Languages In-Game PRO's main storyline will be kept English as the widely accepted "official" language in the game, even by bilingual players. Only minor things (menus, options, etc) will be translated. However, there is no estimated time frame for this, and it's considered very low-priority. Balancing Bosses or Revaluing Boss Rewards You are free to suggest things to be changed or added to a certain boss if you feel that it would be appropriate for said boss, but keep in mind that Pokemon consists of four basic elements: Hunting, Training, Trading, and Battling. The boss battles were created to provide additional, renewable content for players who have already completed their story. They were not created as a means to provide easy, consistent shortcuts to avoid the four basic elements of the game. The cooldown is to ensure that some things don't enter the game quickly, namely some of the more valuable rewards. New Move Tutor or TM If there is a Move Tutor or TM you'd like to see in-game that isn't already, you're free to suggest it. Just keep in mind that some moves are not coded yet, therefore have little reason to have a move tutor for; regarding moves, abilities, evolutions, and so on being coded, we have no ETA as to when they will be added. For specifics on what isn't coded yet or is not coded as intended, please look at the List of Broken Moves and Abilities in PRO. Please keep an eye on the Downloads & Update Logs as well as the In-game Update Logs when they will be. For all of these, you'll need to be patient and wait. Remember that our staff team is constantly working to improve the game: Artists are creating new animations and sprites. Scripters are writing and implementing scripts, and Shane is always working on coding new features and improvements into the client. We need time to fix and update everything, so please be patient. Spawn Suggestions We would like to ensure the best experience for you here at PRO. Therefore, we will be taking your Spawn Suggestions in the Pokemon Spawns Thread. Please take note that your suggestion may not be fully implemented, but we'd simply like to hear from you so we can improve your quality of life. The suggestions listed below are already planned or are currently in-process, so there is no actual need to suggest the idea itself, but if you have specific details that are worth mentioning, feel free to expand upon it. Account resets, Name changes, and Transferring data between servers We plan to give qualifying players the opportunity to reset their accounts, change their usernames, and transfer data between servers very soon, as the implementation for all of that is already done, we just need to solidify a few things internally as PRO Staff before releasing a request megathread. Auction House or Marketplace We plan to release an auction house with our upcoming website, but we're still ironing out specific details about the auction house and also the implementation itself. If you'd like to help PRO Staff with said details, please take a look and give us suggestions at the Website Rework thread. Changing the Dig or Headbutt Confirmation Displays or Adding Coin Shop Tools We're part-way through implementing a shovel tool in-game, but making the shovel be able to interact with the dig spots will take quite some time from our Content Team as we have to edit each dig spot script individually, so please be patient with us! Making more Legendaries Obtainable The Content Team has already implemented a way of expanding the pool of Legendaries that are catchable for players, but the details and fine-tuning of the implementation are still needed before its release into the public. Mass Deleting Pokemon With the addition of our upcoming website, we'll be giving players the ability to mass delete Pokemon rather than agonize in front of a PC for an hour in-game. The implementation along with the website itself is still in process, however. For more information on that, feel free to head over to the Website Rework thread. Mega Evolutions Mega evolutions have been in PRO for a while now, but are currently only only available for NPCs. This is because we are still yet to finalize everything with regards to releasing Mega Evolutions. Nonetheless, they are being considered to be implemented in PRO for players to use. Although, please take note that there is no ETA for when they will be released. User Bank With the addition of our upcoming website, we'll be giving players the ability to have their own bank account not in-game, but on the website. You may put Pokemon, money, and items in this bank, therefore possibly allowing players to store an unlimited amount of game objects, but the details are still undecided overall. If you'd like to help PRO Staff with said details, please take a look and give us suggestions at the Website Rework thread. _______________________________________________________ Contributions: Thor, Pixiu, Hideliet, Windypuff, Neroli, Shaui, Red, Astraea, Fluffles1 point
