  1. Hello everyone, I would like to suggest the introduction of PvE Chests. They should be similar to PvP Chests, but obtained from PvE means. The reason I'm suggesting this, is because at the moment PvP is the only way to obtain some tm/cosmetics/mounts. That benefits the PvP veterans who get a lot of chests from wins, or the rich people that just buy them. That's very punishing to the casual PRO players who just want to enjoy the game and have cool things. Yes you could say that newbies should do PvP to learn, but that would lead for more chests to the veterans instead. Also there should be some balance between PvP and PvE rewards. We could obtain PvE Chests the following ways: BCC/FCC Rewards Top 25 get 1 chest for participation Top 15 get 3 chests Top 3 get 5 chests and 1 golden chest Dungeon Rewards Random Drop of chests inside the dungeon that you can find and collect while doing the run. X amount of chests for being Top Dungeon Ladder. The rewards from chests would be PvE coins, TMs, cosmetics and mounts. It's not necessary for the rewards to be exactly the same as the PvP Chests, they could have some that are the same, and then some exclusives to PvE and others exclusives to PvP. The introduction of PvE Chests should increase the overall amount of online players instead of only focusing on PvP, and it wouldn't take away anything, but rather instead just bring more things to the table. Thank you. Kind Regards, Lugario

  2. 1. More hotbar slots. 2. Hovering over items in the hotbar shows the amount. 3. Name trainers in the trainer tower to match their typ. 4. Remove the auto heal when using a escape rope. 5. Add region names to the sailors at the docks. 6. Rename nature reroll tickets to nature change tickets to avoid confusion. 7. Hovering over a ability gives you description. 8. Show if attacks are effective in battle like added in sun and moon. 9. Add a in battle timer to reflect, lightscreen, trickroom, psychic terrain, grassy surge, etc. in the same stlye showdown has. 10. Give the area names from events a diffrent color to easily distinguish between them. (For membership pokemon you could add a (MB) at the end.) 11. Remove all (boss) cooldowns from quest e.g. mega absol quest. 12. Make it only 10 bosses per week but double the rewards so you need less time doing them and need to decide which boss rewards you want. 13. Give pokemon a ingame tier rating for pvp. 14. Add PVP rotations where you can only take 0/1/2 legendarys/ubers/Tier 1 pokemon with you. 15. Add a Questlog ingame or per discord bot to easily show you what you have already done.

  3. It’s been 7 years. 7 years of a long journey together, challenges, laughter, and growth. I joined the Staff when I was 22 and now I am almost 30 in a few months What began as a simple step into a community I admired quickly became one of the longest and most meaningful journeys of my life. For 1/4 of my life, PRO has been a community, a family, and a place where I’ve spent 20.000+ hours alongside you all as someone whose job was to protect the integrity of the game and ensure everyone could enjoy it fairly. MY ROLE IN PRO As a Moderation Staff and later Admin, my role wasn’t always the most glamorous and visible to players. I didn’t design new regions or events. Instead, I worked behind the scenes, reviewing reports, investigating rule-violations, handing out punishments when necessary, and sometimes having the tough conversations nobody likes to have (). It wasn’t always easy, and it certainly wasn’t always fun or rewarded, but it was very important for me… because keeping PRO fair and safe meant protecting the adventure you all love and protecting the community in general, which is the reason I joined the Staff Team. I know that sometimes my role put me in situations where I had to make hard calls. I would be lying if I said I’ve always done everything right. Not every decision I made was perfect, and I’m sure there were moments where I did wrong (I mean, in 7 years of work it would be impossible to make 0 mistakes) or where I could have done better. There were decisions I wish I had handled differently. However, all of my actions were motivated by wanting the best for both the game and its community, and that never changed. WHY AM I LEAVING? The truth is, my journey here is ending not because I’ve stopped caring, but because my mental and physical health has reached a point where I cannot give the game, the community, or the staff team the dedication they deserve. I’ve always believed the players deserve my very best, and if I can’t provide that, continuing would feel like letting you all down and kind of disrespecting you. As some player know, my life has never been a simple one. I was born with more health problems than I could count, and as the years passed, they only grew heavier. Surgeries, endless hospital stays just to survive. Surviving was never a given, but something I had to fight for, over and over like an endless battle. Every time I thought I had won, something new emerged to destroy me. Last year and the first half of this one I fought through a severe infection that nearly destroyed a lot of my organs and almost took my life. I spent months in the hospital, clinging to hope. Once I beat the infection, I thought I had fixed everything only for life to strike again. Without warning, recently I suddenly lost the sight in one eye completely and am blind, and half the vision in the other due to another health issue. Due to all of this, I had a complete mental breakdown because I spent a whole life in this situation over and over. The tears/crying wouldn’t stop, the desperation wouldn't stop and it's been a continuous "why me?" and then situation is getting worse and worse and I have almost reached the bottom of the barrel and cannot see the light anymore. Given this, I’ve decided to step back, focus on recovery, and fight for myself for once. I’ve already taken steps to get the help I need, and I hold on to hope that better days will come. TO ALL OF YOU PLAYERS To every player I’ve met along the way, regardless if we spoke 1 or 100 times, thank you. Thank you to everyone who made my years here worthwhile and fun, to the players who respected the rules or reformed themselves after violating them, to those who gave constructive feedback, to those who showed kindness in chat, and even to those who challenged me to do better. You all played a part in my time here. Please, keep this community strong. Be patient with the Staff Members, they’re not perfect, but their heart is in the right place and they’re doing a tough job for the good of everyone as they want the best for PRO and its community. Treat each other with respect and remember that behind each username there is a person with feeling and emotions. Help new players find their way in the game, and remember that at the end of the day, we’re all here for the same reason: our love for Pokémon and this world we share. FINAL WORDS I leave proud, proud of the time I was here. PRO will keep evolving without me, and I’ll be watching from the sidelines, cheering and smiling for every success, and rooting for all of you and the next generation of both players and staff to find their own unforgettable moments here like I did. 7 years is a long time to give a piece of your heart to something. And PRO will always have my heart. This is not goodbye forever. It’s just the closing of my chapter, so that new ones can be written by those ready to carry the torch. I wish you all to continue your player journey and find a lot of happiness on your path like I did on mine. — Keita here, signing off for the last time — thank you for some of the brightest days of my life. PS: I've no news about Summer Tournament. I was asked to wait due to some background stuff, but further info will be provided by the Admin Team

  12. The Blacephalon belongs to @Titaniaplayz However, because of the commotion caused in the thread I can understand why people may feel repelled to bid. It was also damaging for the owner of the Pokemon because the legitimacy of the auction was brought into question. I will extend the auction for 24 hours from this post. The current offer is 20m by @Itzrohan All the very best. - Rebilak

  13. Drop heatran A ->B Heatran lost his trapper strength a while ago. Flip-turn, teleport, and chilly moves don't make him comfortable enough to be a good wallbreaker. Now comes Clodsire, and Boots. Two things that Heatran doesn't take advantage of. Clodsire can completely negate Heatran. Scorching Sands and bodypress It scares him, pivots too, and the lack of versatility is real. I don't think I need to say much here; we'll all notice Heatran gradually losing its strength in the coming days until it's forgotten.

  14. Add Talonflame to rank C- or C. Talonflame is making its way into the meta for the same reasons as Moltress, boots! A fast Pokémon with Roost, Defog, Taunt, Fire and Flying STAB moves, wow, Pivot, and decent stats. Its stats are worse and its defense leaves something to be desired, but you'll still prefer to use Talonflame sometimes. I've outlined a few scenarios where you'll prefer Talonflame over Moltres. 1- wow fast vs landorus; 2-wow fast vs garchomp; 3- taunt vs cloadsire; 4- wow fast vs mimikyu; 5- wow fast vs mega gallade; 6-taunt vs clefable; 7- taunt vs chansey; Besides these points, we don't have many defoggers/spinners available. And a quick defog can be very useful in some teams, perhaps with Kyurem, Tornadus, or versions with Zard Y, where this defog/pivot needs to be faster.

  18. Reasons to rise Kommo-o: 1-Versatility: when we see a kommo-o, there is no predefined set. *subs belly *rocks + toxic careful *iron defense bodypress +def *zmove 4 atks *zmove rocks *zmove Clangorous Soul 2-It has a consistent presence in the meta, high usage, and a decent/good win rate. 3-Counters meta-game Pokémon, defends against most Volcarona sets, and in its physical form punishes Tyranitar and Bisharp well, for example. 4-Besides the variety of sets, it has varied stats(sp atk and atk sets) and moves. When dealing with Clodsire, for example, subs or EQ can punish it effectively. 5-The lack of Fairy-type Pokémon in the meta means Clefable is basically the only Pokémon that defends against it well, but even so, I've seen some Z-Poison sets that were surprising.

  19. Hello there @Clickicebeam In short, no; there is no specific reason why Incineroar and Araquanid have not been introduced into PRO yet. New Pokemon, like Sneasler, Clodsire and the recently announced; Corviknight are being added to the game, along with the introduction of Generation 9 mechanics. It is simply luck of the draw in regards to which new Pokemon are added and when. I hope this helps. Have a great day! Houndstone

  20. The PvP Coordinator team has discussed some more changes to the Viability Rankings based on latest metagame trends and developments. Rises: Dragonite: A → A+ Self-explanatory. HDB and Ice Spinner just granted Dragonite at least 2 more viable, powerful sets, making Roost a good option for extra longevity. Dragonite's defensive attributes are heightened (with some even experimenting with defensively oriented variants). Dragonite is still threatening even with 1 less move. Other sets continue to exist, which just adds to Dragonite's arsenal of possibilities. Volcarona: A- → A+ The moth has now gained the most important tool for its arsenal in HDB as it allows it to perform a defensive role more efficiently, with increased longevity, while retaining the threat of a late-game sweep. Many PvP Coordinators have it on their personal radars. Gliscor: A- → A An underrated Knock Off user and Knock Off and status absorber, Gliscor is an overall solid option to run against cores revolving around Clodsire, Landorus-T, Moltres, Zapdos, and even Torn-T. It was moved up to A with a narrow margin of 5-4 votes. Latios: A- → A Latios tends to perform rather well into the aforementioned popular cores, especially with Clodsire at times replacing Chansey on more balanced builds. Metagross-Mega: A- → A Having the option to Knock Off HDB and various items, while finally being able to hit Ghost types like Aegislash with a move other than EQ, is a positive change for Mega Metagross. It still runs into the longevity issue of being whittled down too fast (between Static, Flame Body, Iron Barbs, Rough Skin, Rocky Helmet, etc.) while trying to boost its attack with Power-Up Punch, but it usually does enough damage to open up the opposing team for one of its partners before fainting. With another narrow 5-4 margin, Mega Metagross was voted up to A. Scizor-Mega: B+ → A- In theory, Zapdos gaining HDB, Moltres and Volcarona becoming more viable thanks to HDB, and so on should cause Mega Scizor to be less viable, which explains why the vote (5-4) in favor of a rise was so close. However, in practice, Mega Scizor still performs quite well with a mixed spread or a physically defensively leaning spread. It is able to threaten Clodsire, Hoopa-U (but hates having to switch into Choice Band), Mega Alakazam, Mega Diancie, Mega Metagross, Latios, Weavile, and many other Pokémon that are quite good right now. Tyranitar: B+ → A- Tyranitar is already seeing more usage and a better performance than last month, with Knock Off breathing a new life into it and solidifying its place in the current metagame. Tyranitar still has the same shortcomings as before, but Knock Off now allows all sets (not just Choice Band variants) to make progress more steadily instead of running into roadblocks like Skarmory without even being able to remove an item. Ursaluna: B+ → A- Ursaluna is a potent wallbreaker that can force unparalleled progress thanks the combination of Facade and Headlong Rush or Earthquake. RestTalk sets have seen low but meaningful usage, making them quite successful. At the expense of damaging Skarmory more, those sets grant a fully HP-invested Ursaluna all the longevity that it needs to switch into a variety of medium-strength hits from the likes of Clefable, Gliscor, and non-Z Zapdos. Its typing and added bulk from the HP investment also allow it to switch into Ghost-type moves from Aegislash and Electric-type moves from Mega Manectric while always avoiding the 2HKO from Hidden Power Ice. Weavile: B+ → A- A threatening Speed tier, the ability to remove items like HDB, and the possibility of running HDB Swords Dance sets push Weavile into A-. PvP Coordinators were previously quite split on whether this Pokémon should remain in B+ or rise to A-, with a majority voting to keep it in B+ every time, but enough has changed to justify a rise now. Gyarados-Mega: B → B+ This change has nothing to do with the addition of Temper Flare. Mega Gyarados is particularly threatening into most of the defensive cores that are currently in use. While it is true that it risks paralysis from Zapdos, it is able to muscle past even Clefable and Skarmory with minimal luck. Mega Gyarados is quite threatening to teams with more reliable checks like Ferrothorn because they are pressured to stay healthy at all times, while Mega Gyarados' usual teammates do a very good job at forcing in said checks for Mega Gyarados to clean up later. It is also quite good at punching holes for its teammates when it is in no position to sweep. Tyranitar-Mega: B → B+ This one is a natural consequence of Knock Off gaining traction on Dragon Dance and Stealth Rock sets. Mega Tyranitar is a very threatening DD sweeper with great bulk, although its Speed (even at +1) can sometimes let it down and leave it vulnerable to faster Megas or common Choice Scarf users. Stealth Rock variants are very potent and capable of making progress against all archetypes thanks to Knock Off (for example removing Rocky Helmet from Skarmory and Leftovers from Unaware Clefable on Stall builds). Mandibuzz: C- → B Everyone knows what Mandibuzz does. It can switch into many potent threats (like Aegislash and Hoopa-U) that other Pokémon can only dream of checking. It is effective with a mixed spread that allows it to check physical and special attacks alike, which it can now do even more efficiently thanks to the addition of HDB. Mandibuzz usually wants more than 4 moves because it would like to run U-turn, Toxic, Defog, and maybe even Iron Defense, and it is not an ideal switch-in to the likes of Bisharp and Mega Metagross because they carry Knock Off, so it can be less effective against certain offensive builds. Blissey: C- → C+ Blissey has not yet made a huge impact on the metagame, but thanks to HDB, it no longer has to take hazards damage, granting it an interesting niche over Chansey on certain builds. For now, the team has tentatively voted to move it up to C+. Drops: Serperior: A+ → A Glare is still as annoying as ever, but common Serperior checks, like Zapdos and Tornadus-T, gained Heavy-Duty Boots, granting them additional longevity in their battle against it. HDB Moltres is another solid counter to add to the list, thus making Serperior less effective than before. Keldeo: A → A- Despite its consistently high usage, Keldeo cannot break Water Absorb Clodsire, which is infinitely more common than Unaware even on many Stall builds. Z sets struggle as well because EQ breaks Sub. Clodsire is way too common at the moment, and the usual Mega Diancie + Keldeo BO cores took a hit, but they each continue to be effective, albeit perhaps separately. Manectric-Mega: B- → C Mega Manectric cannot make any progress against Clodsire teams, which have become quite common. Additions: Clodsire: Unranked → A Clodsire has proven to be a very good addition to defensive and balanced teams alike. Water Absorb has been the preferred ability since last season, as it allows Clodsire to shut down Flip Turn Keldeo, Mega Manectric, Rotom-W, and other momentum-generating Pokémon, although Unaware has some specific uses, such as on Stall, and can still stop Zapdos in its tracks. Even with Water Absorb, Clodsire can handle most (but not all) Mega Diancie and Kommo-o variants. An excellent glue Pokémon for builds that desperately wanted more switch-ins for those kinds of threats (and others, like Aegislash, Blacephalon, Heatran, non-Fire Blast Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona...), Clodsire is slowly helping to redefine Balance and Stall in the current metagame. Sneasler: Unranked → A- On Choice-locked Poison Touch sets, Sneasler currently has to overrely on Switcheroo for progress because it struggles quite a bit to break Zapdos/Torn-T/Lando-T cores on its own. Nonetheless, it still boasts a very threatening Speed tier and an Attack stat that can always allow it to reposition into a late-game sweeper. Having said that, at the moment, it seems to struggle to fulfill both roles (wallbreaking early and cleaning up late game) and usually has to choose one over the other because it lacks longevity. Other sets, such as Swords Dance, Fake Out, or Unburden, present interesting yet still underexplored prospects. Moltres: Unranked → B Valid points were made about many of the Pokémon that Moltres checks being missing from the game. However, the team has tentatively voted to rank it in B with a willingness to alter its ranking depending on how it performs in the future. Moltres is still able to check many menacing Pokémon, while threatening them with a Flame Body burn. Arcanine-Hisui: Unranked → B- Boasting a strong offensive typing, Arcanine-Hisui also benefits from HDB but struggles to deal sufficient damage against defensive teams without Choice Band. It can be hard to find opportunities to switch Arcanine-Hisui into opposing Pokémon, but it has chances to do so against the likes of Zapdos, especially thanks to HDB. Stealth Rock and Will-O-Wisp are interesting options to consider, but it is often hard to justify clicking anything other than either of its strong STAB moves. No change: Diancie-Mega: A+ → A+ Kyurem: A+ → A+ Tornadus-Therian: A+ → A+ Zapdos: A+ → A+ Kyurem-Black: A → A Hoopa-Unbound: A- → A- Slowbro: A- → A- Slowking: A- → A- Victini: A- → A- Hippowdon: B → B Suicune: B → B Volcanion: B → B Gyarados: C → C Gallade: C- → C- Baby XD001: Unranked → Unranked/Shadow Realm of the Forgotten

  23. Developers to-do list:  //This list is ordered alphabetically. It's just what we have on our to-do list. Auction House //An auction house that'll be usable in-game and on the Dashboard. Battle animation adjustments //That mainly affects the catch animation and a few small adjustments. Battle log //Some plans but probably not easy with ngui. Box Rework //A general box rework to add more filters, split the boxes, add mass delete and so on. Double battles //Battle together with your friends and against your enemies within and outside the story! Dungeon á la Mystery Dungeons //Player will have to climb maps as a Pokemon. Repetitive content with a chance of different rewards at the top. Dynamic window layering //There are so many window layering problems recently that I rather add dynamic window layering a la Windows. Event icons rework //The current icon code is really, really bad and needs a rework so we can easily add more information/icons. EXP rework //Our EXP formular is wrong and uses the wrong value for the exp group. This might need a complete spawn and trainer level rework for the story. EXP share //EXP share à la gen2 where the Pokemon that held the item always got its EXP share. Fishing Rework //We plan to make it a mini-game similar to how fishing works in Minecraft. Fixing all incorrectly coded moves and abilities //https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/233061-list-of-broken-moves-abilities-items-in-pro/ Forum change //Xenforo is everything but not user-friendly nor easy to work with and we need to get rid of unique emails. Higher PvP rating at season start //Would like to start the season with a higher rating so you can actually lose something. Illusion //Hard to do cause you need to send different pokes to each user which requires a rework of the code at 180 different places. In-game layer rework //The character and map layer client code is a mess but that's a mammoth project. Ladders in client UI //Show all kind of ladders in the client UI. That includes OU Ranked, Random Ranked and Total Playtime. Lending Trade //Probably needs another rework from scratch. Mail adjustments //Check whether an item is mailable or not when putting it in the mail and not after trying to send it and a mail confirmation to avoid sending it to the wrong user. Make flying mounts/followers keep flying while standing still //Upgrade of the animation capability for the character sprites. Possibly new animation options. Mod tools updates //Mainly for GMs, a few fixes and small feature requests. Nuzlocke Server //A just for fun server with Nuzlocke features. Data cannot be transferred to live servers. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nuzlocke_Challenge PRO Editor updates //Many, many updates for the PRO Editor as well as a map server rework from scratch which is already done. The editor is currently in a not working state. PvP elo system //Easy to say, hard to do. PvP encounter rating limit //An option to not encounter users with more than 100 PvP rating less than you. PvP battle replay //Save, play, review and share your battles. PvP battle spectate //Option to allow others to spectate your battles, possibly with a delay. Random Battles and ladder //Not much to say about. Reconnect //That's not only for PvP but in general so users that disconnect unplanned reconnect without even realizing it in the background. Very complex problems. Rework multi-hits //In handhelds every multi-hit has its own damage calculation, crit chance and so on. Required for Parental Bond. Rework winning order //Right now, moves like Destiny Bond and recoil let the wrong user win if both die the same turn. Server merge //Merge gold and silver together and increase the box limit from 1000 to 2000. Show Pokemon and whether they are dead or alive in PvP battles //Initially planned to replace the Pokeballs with the Pokemon sprite but the Pokemon sprites are too big, and resizing them makes it impossible to identify the Pokemon. Android cannot see anything so they were added elsewhere. Slider to change how many users you can see on the same map //To unburden old hardware without the need to use foreveralone. Options to see friends- and/or guildies-only as well. Terrains //Terrain moves, the needed abilities and Terrain Extender for Tapus. Player/Social window rework //Similar rework as PvP window but for the social tab. We could possibly add following features: Boss Cooldowns Page: NPC sprite, name, location, current win-streak, cooldown timer, weekly boss limit counter, friendlist: status message, last online, guild: last online, user rating, Input field with an invite button, guild creating in social/player window, /foreveralone check box, time ladder, PMs enabled for everyone/friends option instead of using the online status as indicator. Team Builder //Create teams with your Pokemon and replace your whole team with a single click instead of looking for every Pokemon in your box. Transform and Imposter //Ditto needs some love. Two-factor authentication //With 2FA, you need to use two things to prove it's really you before you can log into your account. For example, you might need to enter your password (that's one factor) and then type in a special code that's sent to your phone (that's the second factor). By using 2FA, it's harder for someone else to get into your account because they would need to have both your password and access to your phone. Username borders //Didn't think about it any further. Visual for active stat changes //Not sure how to do that yet, might be a space-related problem. Visual for environment moves //Probably just a new background as long as the rooms are active, Artists where are you? Z-Moves //Boom, baam, damage, yknow..           ▣ High priority                    ▣ Normal priority                    ▣ Low priority                    ▣ Completed Please do not suggest any of the features/planned changes above as they are already on our to-do list!
