As mentioned before, yes you do need luck. Currently to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, the staff have kindly decided to increase the chances to 1/1250 from previously being 1/1500. So things have become slightly easier but then again spawns are all RNG. The only pokemon which you need MS for them to spawn is Vulpix as this is an MS Spawn in the area. Goodluck.

Sorry for the late reply back. If you look at the image below these were the options you were given before. If you have pressed option 1. You are obliged to get the ditto now. There is no feature for the option to revert back as of yet. However if you want an easy way to find Ditto please look at the options I first told you about repel tricking. Good luck.

Ditto is not Required to get the bike anymore as of 23.07.19 it will be 60k without Ditto however if you do want the Voucher this will discount the Price to 40k. Aswell do note that spawns are all Random Number Generated (RNG). So you have to get lucky. However if you do want to save money as I know from early stages this could be important. There is an option which is called Repel tricking. If you do not know what it is, you can read it here. Ditto is one pokemon that can be repel tricked this can be done at: ▪︎ Route 8 at Morning/Day/Night (M/D/N) respectively, so basically all day and the repel trick level is between levels 23-27. The only special event form that has been released for the Azu-Family is the easter form so far. However in some cases viewing of future event forms can be seen in the Pokedex aswell, this however is not always the case as things maybe planned however not fully released.
