  1. Saw the video. Since you are faster than the Gengar after 1 Quiver Dance, you fainted Gengar before the opposing Gengar has a chance to fail Destiny Bond. Destiny Bond stays active until the next turn of the player that used it. For this reason, since you raised your speed and became faster than Gengar, you attacked Gengar again before it was Gengar's turn so Destiny Bond was still in effect. From Bulbapedia: "When Destiny Bond is used, until the user moves again, if the user faints as the direct result of an attack the attacking Pokémon also faints. If the user takes another turn (including 'inactive' turns such as those spent sleeping or flinching), the effect disappears." Key phrase is "if the user takes another turn ... the effect disappears". Since you attacked and fainted Gengar before it was able to take its next turn, the effect did not disappear and Volcarona fainted. In the first attempt in the video, you allowed Gengar to use Destiny Bond again (aka taking another turn), which caused it to fail and the effect disappeared so when you attacked the next turn, Volcarona did not faint.
  2. Yes if you obtained both items already, you should be able to interact with the Shaymin Obelisk on Route 224.
  3. Spooky Plate in Sinnoh Maniac Tunnel. Macho Brace in Sinnoh Route 211.
  4. This quest is no longer available, since the Gracidea Flower and Micle Berry are not obtainable anymore.
  5. Modern problems require modern solutions. Did it occur to you that instead of the new player PMing you for help, you could have PMed them instead? If we follow your original premise that the rules are just fine and everyone should be familiar with them (which I agree with, I personally never broke the rules and probably never will), then it is not unreasonable for a mod to mute someone for a few minutes because they didn’t follow a simple chat rule after a warning was issued. I always see mods reminding people to not comment in trade or English only in chat, so I don’t know what you are referring to to be honest when you say they “never” warn. How many times a day does a person need to be reminded of, as you put it, a rule which is easy to follow? Why, just today I observed in Silver trade chat people commenting and an app issued a warning, and less than 5 minutes later the same person does it again. People might make mistakes the first time, that’s fine and dandy but repeating the same act after being made aware that it is not allowed is just negligence on the player’s end. I don’t believe that the current moderation team is oppressive, individual players are to blame for their own actions. The majority of players aren’t getting disciplined, only the few who keep breaking the rules. If the mods were truly oppressing the playerbase, then you would see a more uniform phenomenon.
  6. A couple of things that I thought were overreactions in your post. 1. "I legit roll my eyes until I see my brain when I see a moderator over moderating" How is this "over moderating", no warnings were issued, no mutes, etc. Just a reminder that All channel is English only. 2. "showing off that he/she can use capslock (I know, sounds childish what I'm saying, but I know you know what I am talking about)." How is the staff in the screenshot showing off? They are just capitalizing the first letter in a sentence and proper nouns, which is a perfectly normal thing to do and happens instinctively. The phrase "I know you know what I'm talking about" is so over-the-top btw. 3. "A moderator comes out of nowhere and say "Only English here, please!"" The moderator didn't "come out of nowhere", they were already in the chat and speaking. They didn't say what you said they said. You are just putting words in their mouth. 4. "Please, Açaiberry, don't take it personal. You are not the only one who does it. Also, I know you are an App and you are just doing your job. However, I just think moderating like this is unnecessary." This phrase comes off as pretentious to me, because you are not a moderator nor you have ever been a moderator but here you are talking down to the staff as if you possess more knowledge than them in this regard, when they are trained, or in the process of being trained if they are an apprentice. In my opinion, I think PRO moderation is fine but a lot of players just blatantly ignore the rules and when a moderator reminds/warns them in chat, they just ignore it then complain how the mods ban "for no reason".
  7. When you give 10 items, the possible tier 2 reward is actually Big Mushroom. The guide says it is Tiny Mushroom, which is incorrect.

  10. Ultra balls work just fine.
  11. EV training is basically mandatory for beating David on hardmode. Otherwise I feel that you would be lacking in damage output since you're battling a level 30 team and not a level 25 team. I would highly recommend Clamperl, as it deals with the first 3 pokemon in David's team on hardmode fairly easily. (I had a suicide lead with Stealth Rock which helps a lot). This is mine, speed is unfortunate but these stats are enough to tank a hit from Timburr and oneshot half of his team with Surf/Ice Beam. I also don't have Life Orb so I used Wise Glasses. With Life Orb, Stealth Rock might not be necessary. [spoiler=Clamperl] Any Pokemon with a boosting move like Dragon Dance/Swords Dance with strong priority is also very effective. I've had good results with Sucker Punch Pawniard and Dragon Dance Moxie Scraggy. Focus Sash is a must if you do it this way. [spoiler=Pawniard] [spoiler=Scraggy] Fake Out (which is also on Mienfoo) is good for dealing with David's Abra, which will definitely stop your sweeper since it has a Focus Sash. Omanyte is very slow so any Fighting move or Thunderpunch will bring it below half health. [spoiler=ez clap] All in all, great map and fun battles.
  12. No, it was a 1 time event. Never happened again.
  13. Tried to teach Drain Punch to Mienfoo, but the NPC incorrectly tells me that it cannot learn it by tutor. But when I look on Bulbapedia, I see this. The same error happens when I try to tutor Riolu.
  14. 1. If you could improve one facet of the event, what would it be? I think after you beat the Little Cup Elite 4, you should be able to return to the map without a Pokemon restriction. This really limits people's options because let's say you want to do something after beating David LC Virtuoso once, but you can't leave the map to hunt a Darth Pawniard or do anything else that is outside of Breezy Falls map. You are essentially trapped there because once you leave, you cannot enter with the same team. You have to rebuild your team from scratch if you leave. This is really a bad feature, because it prevents you from really doing anything else ingame because the cooldown on David LC Virtuoso is 6 hours. 2. What was your favorite part of the event? My favorite part was seeing the Nap Island Elite 4 returned to do the Little Cup. Their diverse teams and interesting movesets were fun to play against. Wild Charge Larvesta, new meta. The fact that David had a lead Clamperl that opened with Shell Smash and had Vullaby using U-turn into a Magnemite using Volt Switch made the battles less faceroll too and kept me on my toes. 3. What was your least favorite part of the event? My least favorite part of the event was during the Shaymin quest, random people were being selfish and not sharing information with other players (before a guide was made). To me, it seems silly because there is no special reward for being among the first to figure out the puzzle. I thought the whole point of an elaborate puzzle was so that players could work together to solve it and everyone gets a nice legendary. The whole concept of "wait a day because the person who told you how to solve it made you promise not to tell anyone" is just ridiculous because everyone knew how to do it 2 days later, so there was no point in keeping secrets. For this reason, make puzzle quest easier next time owo. 4. What can we do to make the event better for next year? It would be better if the spawns were better oriented towards syncs. For example, if I'm hunting for a Timid Togepi, any Munchlax or Kangaskhan I find will be most likely useless. Kangaskhan could be on the same map as Buneary, since they both use Jolly/Adamant. Similarly, Pichu/Larvesta/Togepi could be in the grass on another map. It doesn't need to be perfect but for me it is annoying when I'm hunting Munchlax, I find Togepi with wrong sync, and when I'm hunting Togepi, I find Munchlax. Also, I think there should be a dig shortcut for Breezy Cave. 5. Were any parts of the event (or the whole thing) so terrible that we should delete them and forget they were ever added? Yes, delete the Exeggutor skin. I find it more weird than the Alolan Exeggutor form.
  15. Talking to the NPC to learn a random level-up move but I got a blank message with a Yes/No prompt. Clicking "Yes" just reopens the same message and clicking "No" does the same, so I am stuck like this until I relog.
  16. Used to be a short quest for a cosmetic item, don't know why it was removed but the quest dialogue still exists if you walk past that particular square on Route 25. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/98406-url
  17. You are not supposed to click on the spots. To obtain the Micle Berry, you do not need the 5 Pokemon in your party. You are supposed to walk on top of those spots (for #3, #4, #5) in the correct order (or interact with Spacebar for #1 and #2) and you will be able to hear the 5 Pokemon cries (turn on sound effects sounds so you can verify). If you do that correctly, you will get a text box on your screen which says "You hear a rumble in the distance". Then you go back to the spot of the mossy rock in the northwest and the Micle Berry will be there. This picture might help.
  18. IGN: Hejazia I've been a Pokemon enthusiast for almost 20 years. My family moved to the United States when I was a baby and one of the first TV shows that I watched was the original Pokemon (this was when we had a TV antenna before everything went digital). I basically learned English from listening to the characters talk and looking at the captions. My parents didn't let me buy a console game so I got the next best thing, trading cards. My first pack was a Fossil booster pack (I distinctly remember that it had a Lapras on the wrapper cover). My dad just kind of looked at me like... "You wanna play with pieces of paper??" but he paid for it anyway. [spoiler=NOSTALGIA ALERT] I was so delighted because the first pack that I opened had a Zapdos. I later traded the Zapdos for a Geodude and 2 Unowns because I saw the 3rd movie and thought Unowns were a legendary, BUT LET'S NOT GET INTO THAT! The funny thing was that nobody near me really understood the official rules for the TCG so we made up our own rules during recess at school. #6yearoldproblems The anime was my main interest though, I liked some of the plots/background music in the early seasons. (Rewatch Ash vs Drake in the Orange Islands saga, the battles were so funny if you know how real battle mechanics work.) This was before Pokemon was exclusively aired on cable TV in the US, so it was aired on the iconic KidsWB children's weekday afternoon block and on Saturday mornings. You can't beat Pokemon and Yugioh back-to-back, such a good era. If anyone watched TwitchPresents when they streamed every Pokemon episode, you'll remember that the chat was full of memes that probably went over your head if you first watched when you were a little kid. I highly recommend the Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Kalos anime as I feel these had the best character development or plot. Hoenn had a lot of memes, but I just didn't like the intro songs and the same goes for Unova. I haven't watched the Alolan series yet but it's on my list. I have a lot of favorite Pokemon because I find a new one every generation but my first favorite Pokemon was Lapras.
  19. Shaymin-Sky Forme learns Air Slash by level up at 64. Only this form learns it, the Land Forme learns Aromatherapy at level 64 so that form won't get it. You can interact with the Shaymin Shrine on Route 224 and it will change the Shaymin forms for you.
  20. When you interact with it, it won't show a text dialogue box. You need your sound effects turned on to hear the Cacnea cry, in order to make sure that you interacted with it. After you interact with all 5 in the correct order, you will get the dialogue box on your screen.
  21. The Micle berry will spawn where the rock used to be, you have to pick it up then continue the quest to get Shaymin which is explained here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/126067-url
  22. The image is on page 1, scroll down to 4th post. It's in the far northwest corner of Breezy Path, the berry tree looks like a Lum Berry but it is the Micle berry. Make sure you do not use it until further along the quest chain.
  23. For this section of the quest, your party does not matter. It only matters when you are standing on the pink patch of grass to get the Gracidea flower. (This is still considered part of part 1, part 1b if you will)
  24. Although I was able to find all of the cries, I didn't really like the quality of the pics, so I took my own which are zoomed out a bit. Cacnea is in southeast corner, north of the Shelly NPC which is standing near a bunch of Paras. Seedot is in southwest corner. This was the easiest to find so no pic. The Bellossom cry is in the northwestern area of the map. Paras in the north/northwest area Lotad spot is around the center of the map.
