Hey, welcome back to PRO. Considering your question about which server to go for there is pretty much no correct answer. Both servers are more or less equally covered, Silver might be a little bit more populated but not by much. You are able to check the currect playercount for the different servers on the dashboard if thats something you are interested in. In the end its up to you which server you are going to play on and since we are able to transfer servers for free every 30 days on the dashboard it doesnt really matter which server youre starting on. In order to receive megastones like the one for Salamence you need to have the Mega Bracelet. To get that you have to fullfill a task for the Assistant NPC in the Vermillion Library. After you did the task for that NPC you will get the stone for Salamence as well.

You are able to get them. The pokemon has a 5% chance of holding an item. Make sure to have an empty item-slot on the pokemon you are using thief on as the item will go to your item-slot after you stole one.

Try to open the console with F2 on the login-screen and type clean reg into it. Keep in mind that this resets all your other settings as well but should fix your problem.

Do you have a screenshot of the battlelog maybe? It would be easier to understand it that way as it would be visable which moves etc. were used in that fight.

The starting time doesnt matter as much if you think about it. First of all it (usually) always starts on the 1st day of each month so there will be world quests on weekends as well. Second there is no way to satisfy the whole playerbase with a starting time because while it might be midnight at your location it could be early morning or evening for other players as there are players from all over the world and timezones are a thing. The community has 24 hours to complete the world quest. While that is correct it will end earlier if the total IVs were submitted. To receive a mysterious ticket you have to submit 0.5% of those total IVs which means there will only be 200 people at most who will get a ticket in the end. On the other hand I can understand your frustration but instead of commenting in the way you did, probably without understanding the world quest etc. to the fullest doesnt get you anywhere. Suggesting changes or ways to improve the world quest could lead to something though.
