Well he said 3 day auction after the first bid. The first bid was on Sunday 2:29 AM for me. So there is still 1 hour 29 minutes left. He messed up the calls on time left but I think the true auction time is the one stated. I could be wrong but thats how I would understand the rules.

The beauty of pokemon is that there is no such thing as "best" playstyle. Every playstyle has its strengths and weaknesses. You pretty much have to find out what playstyle suits you the best. The Reveal Glass is tradeable, the mirror shards are not. You can find the mirror shards in every excavation site.

I was told only the normal form can learn moves at the moment, so my problem is kinda fixed I guess.

I tried to teach Tornadus Defog at the Defog Teacher in Violet City. Neither the TM nor the Move tutor option are working.

Yes you can get mirror shards from every excavation site. To get the Reveal glass to change form you have to turn in 10 mirror shards at the NPC in the Wondrous Site.
