Yellow replied to Renaciente's topic in Selling Pokémon - Silver
Hi @Renaciente Please make an effort to trade with these players yourself, they have all been tagged and should also make an effort to respond to you here. Since it's the holidays it might take a bit longer as most people are spending time with family, please allow 3 full days for players to get in touch before you request force trades. In the meantime, please can you respond with your timezones and the times you are likely to be available in the next 3 days, and your Discord tag if you use it, so people have a better chance of reaching you? -

Yellow replied to Renaciente's topic in Selling Pokémon - Silver
Hi @Renaciente Your Start and End Point in your original post were not clear, please read the Trade and Auction Rules carefully before continuing, in particular: Since this was not clear, we will need to assume that the start point was as of the thread being posted. In this case, this means that the start point was Friday 02:17AM GMT+0, ending Saturday 02:17AM GMT+0 unless otherwise specified below. The winners are: Timburr 1 (20ATK): @Pokidex for 130K. Timburr 2 (31ATK): @Rabina for 1.5M, ending at 03:21AM GMT+0. Timburr 3 (26ATK 20SPD): @Hasseeb373 for 450K. Timburr 4 (26ATK 23SPD): Ended with no bids. Timburr 5 (30ATK): @Pokidex for 230K. Timburr 6 (26ATK): @Wynth for 650K, ending at 02:18AM GMT+0. My apologies @Merepapa - I have reversed the trade and given you back your money. @Renaciente Please make an effort to trade with the correct winners at your earliest convenience. -
Hi there @Erfa133122 Please can you let your potential buyers know in English how much you'd like to sell your Pokemon for? You can also choose to accept offers, however if you do this, please make sure you have read the Trade and Auction Rules carefully to ensure there are no issues.
-
Hi @Evieee No exceptions are made to this rule I'm afraid. Please complete the trade with Kalafina.

Hi @Gio and @Nadzhawkeye I have forced this auction for you. Please can you both reply to let me know you have received your Pokemon/money correctly?

Proposal for Bid Mispost Retraction Rule in PRO Auctions
Yellow replied to Flamme1230's topic in Suggestions
Hi @Flamme1230 Thanks for suggesting this, and for putting so much time and effort into your post to explain. There are actually very good reasons as to why we don't do this, and are why ultimately your suggestion will be denied, but I will go ahead and explain for you. Auctions can (but not always, I am aware) move at a fast pace. Bidders, at the time of making their bids need to be able to make educated and informed decisions. If someone is looking to make a bid within that 5 minute timeframe you have proposed - if that bid is edited, there is no way for them to be notified of this outside of refreshing the page, meaning that if/when they do place their bid, they will have bid higher than they might have otherwise, and are likely to edit their own bid to reflect that - and so goes on the chain of potential confusion that can be caused. In addition to this, you also need to consider a buyer's means to bid - perhaps at the time of viewing the auction, they wouldn't have had enough to outbid the previous amount, and perhaps if an edit was made, they would have, but because they didn't have this information at the time, likely would have clicked away from the page and therefore lost out due to misinformation. There are also additional issues, when it comes to start and end points. If an auction start bid is 500K, and I, as a player, have made a mistake and typo'd 600K, and realised 4 minutes later and edited this bid to 500K (which by your suggestion would be permitted). Now there is going to be confusion about what time the auction started - the initial bid and the edited bid are 4 minutes apart, but the initial bid is what is most visible to players, not the edit, yet because the edit was made, that 600K bid is not valid. Ergo our start time is completely out of whack. This then has a knock-on effect on end points, both in relation to the time the auction ends, and if the 15-minute extensions should come into play or not. And then again, we might have the same issue at the back end of the auction with bids edited at the end or within the 15 minute extensions. I'm sure I don't need to go into detail there on how even a minute can totally derail the end of an auction and impact who the winner is. And again, this idea is forum based. We don't have seconds on the forum. Do you have 5 full minutes, or 5 clock-minutes? If you post a bid at 12:05, do you have until the clock ticks over 12:10, or 12:11? Maybe you have noticed that you posted your bid just before the clock ticked 12:06? Or you were typing your edit but hit enter a millisecond too late? This is a point I can foresee being wildly argued and debated, and just a black hole of issues ahead on this point alone. This, and just the simple fact, that it's not unreasonable to ask players to show care and sensibility at the time of placing their bid. Ultimately it is better to have a proactive approach, to inform yourself PRIOR to making your bid, than to rush to place the bid knowing that you have a 5 minute window to correct yourself (assuming you're not outbid before that window ends). This is also your duty and responsibility as a bidder, who has agreed to our Terms & Conditions which include all of our Rules, to ensure that you are placing a valid bid when you place it. There is an argument for human error, but that is where TMODs come in. Ultimately, the problems your suggestion causes outweigh the benefits. There is no world in which trading in a MMO will 100% eradicate human error, so we must go for the options that minimise problems the most. It's not that your suggestion is a bad suggestion per se, it's just that when you weigh pros and cons - asking people to simply pay more attention at the time of making their bid has a lot less potential associated issues. I hope that you understand. I will lock your suggestion as denied. Please stay safe, take care, and happy holidays. ^^- 1 reply

Hi there @StevenJohnson An update, as I spoke with Lacomus regarding his bid: Since Lacomus made this bid whilst not knowing what the Ferroseed would evolve into, we felt that it was innately unfair that he should be forced to honour his bid as he would have made this based on information he did not have at the time of auction start, like other bidders might. For this reason, he was offered an opportunity to withdraw his bid if he would like, as it is at a point it will not affect your auction beyond it being voided and available to start fresh, with no negative impact on other potential bidders. Lacomus has decided to withdraw his bid, which means that your auction is null and void. I have deleted his post accordingly. You may start again fresh, either in this post, or another one - it's understandable you may want to begin a new thread, if so, let us know and we wil lock this one. Best of luck moving forward!

Hi @Radovid10 Apologies for the delay. I have now forced the trade - please can you reply to let me know you have received it correctly?

Hi @Presuid I figure this question may have come from my response to a similar thread earlier today: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/228486-verifying-shop-policy/ It's a very similar situation with services, as long as you are following the rules and ensuring there is clarity across the board. For example, if you only do Story services, this should be made clear. Likewise if one of you has a period of unavailability or is server transferring, these details need to be made clear. At every single point of the process, both TMODs and Buyers need to know who is responsible for what, how they can reach them, and what to do to rectify things if things go wrong. Trade is largely about ensuring complete transparency so that people can make informed decisions. In relation to any mistakes being made, it's very situational and entirely depends on exactly what went wrong as to who is at fault. It's impossible to say upfront. If you and your friends would like help designing a template, I am happy to take some time to ensure that it runs smoothly, and all parties are adequately protected and supported.

Great - I'm glad to hear. If you have any further questions in the future please let us know.

Hi @Xxxrosxxx You can both operate out of the same thread, if you wish, however just ensure that when you list a sale, you specify clearly which account the Pokemon is being sold from. This helps both buyers organise a trade with you, but also helps TMODs in the even that you need their support. To clarify, can post the trade window from your account if the trade occurred on your account. As long as everything is crystal clear and clarified in an obvious manner, along with following the Trade and Auction rules, you're fine to continue.

I inevitably ended up falling into a ranked battle with a friend
Yellow replied to Vanlaewe1ls's topic in Battle System Bugs
Hi @Vanlaewe1ls I wouldn't worry about this in your case. If you read the PvP Rules carefully, they detail the circumstances that are determined as Illegitimate Rank Boosting. The battle with your friend did not occur from the same network, and you played out the game fairly. If this happens in the future you can use /draw to send a Draw request, which will not impact the rating of either one of you (unlike surrender, which does impact rating and outcome). Alternatively, you can play the battle fairly as you did here just like any other battle. Here is also a thread that goes into detail on how the IRB rule is enforced, to give you some more context and information: click here. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions or concerns please let us know. -
Hi all, an update as @Shinchan1996 is banned for using a false offer from an alt. @Radovid10 Your bid was actually the last valid bid of the auction - so you are the winner. That being said, some time has passed, and since the invalid bid was placed, you are not obligated to fulfil your offer. Would you still like to buy this MImikyu for 600K? If so, let me know, and I will force the trade. If not, again, let me know and I will offer it to the runner-up who was Zairosspro with their start offer.

Hi there @Yavu25elim Try again now. ^^

Hi @Rogi1991 & @Gio I have forced this trade, as @Gio has let me know he will have some difficulties making this trade time-wise. Please can you both reply to let me know you have received your Pokémon/Money correctly?

Hi @Varun9696 I wanted to make you aware I have made a couple changes to your thread. I have changed the title from "Auction House ( By the best auctioneer)" to "Auction House". Please avoid claims like this, they are misleading, you may well be good at what you do but it is impossible to say with certainty that X person is the best auctioneer. You may change it to something like Varun9696's Auction House, or something similar if you so wish. I have also corrected the following statement to say "Hey I am varun9696 / pokeattack3". This is because there was a typo in your alt's name, which may make it harder for your customers to reach you. In order to better protect both you, and your customers while you run this service, there are a couple things I would recommend that you do: Explain in clear detail in your post, what the process is. Here are a couple examples: Are your customers only paying for/requesting one auction attempt of the Pokémon, or is the service for you to continue listing auction it until it sells? The Pokémon must remain on your account while the auctions are ongoing in order to follow the Auction Rules properly, so I would make it clear that this is the case to your customers. Any other frequently asked questions from your potential customers, I would add to this thread and answer upfront, to help gain clarity. This will also help TMODs in validating the agreements you make. Please provide evidence of each agreement you make on this thread. Since this is a service you are running with multiple people and multiple Pokémon each time, at some point, there will come a time a TMOD will need to get involved to offer clarity. In order to speed up this process, to protect you from any unnecessary investigations, and your customers from any potential mistakes or time wasted to find out the answers to questions, I suggest that you share evidence for each agreement you make containing the full conversation. The best way to do this would be in reply to your thread. Any questions or concerns, please let me know. You can message me directly on the forum or via Discord using the tag riskhappy.

HLW SOLOSIS YELLOW- NEED A MOD
Yellow replied to Qwertykei's topic in Shiny and Special Pokémon - Gold
Hi @Qwertykei and @Thatboimelly I have forced this trade for you. Please reply to let me know you have received your Money/Pokémon correctly. -
Hi @Metalgreymon I have removed your ban - I will make some amendments in the rules in the coming week or so to try offer more clarity on these points, to prevent any confusion in the future also.
-
Hi @Metalgreymon Just to make this really clear, I will walk you through step by step why this outcome was reached. I'd rather take the time to show you, to prevent this happening again, than to leave you to potentially make this mistake again, because it seems you misunderstand which bid was the winning bid and why. So to kick off, this auction started at 9:43PM GMT+0 on Saturday, lasting 48hours, meaning that it was due to end (if there was no bids in the last 15 minutes) at 9:43PM GMT+0 Monday/yesterday evening. The final bid made during the auction, was Chizune's bid of 4.3M. Imtcracka's bid of 10CCs + 600K (4.4M) was posted at 9:52PM GMT+0, meaning that it was too late to be considered a valid bid. Because this is a Gold only auction, the account making the bid must be a Gold account, and have the funds on that Gold account at the time of making the bid, or explicitly mention the account they are making the bid from, if it doesn't match the one they are posting from. Because this was not a Cross Server auction, Chizune's Gold account did not have the funds to fulfil the offer at the time of making the bid (because they play that account from Silver), this bid was invalid, and a False Bid/Offer. In order to determine the winner where there is a false offer made, the winning bid will fall to the runner-up. Because Imtcracka's bid was valid, this became the winning bid. Here is the Auction Rule that describes this in more detail: Please let me know if this makes sense, or if you need further explanation.
-
Hi all, @Imtcracka I have deducted the 4.25M from your account and issued this to Metalgreymon, you will find the Ralts in the last position of your PC. @Darkxblue/ @Chizune I have reimbursed the 4.4M to your Darkxblue account, and removed the Ralts. Thankyou for logging out, you may log back in now. @Metalgreymon I have corrected the payment, so the difference of 150K has been removed from your account. Please can all three of you respond to let me know you have received your payment/goods correctly? To address the points in this thread: Apprentices are permitted to post on these cases with the approval of a member of fully trained Staff. This Apprentice took the correct action here. You have likely not seen it enforced, as it doesn't happen often where someone hasn't made the transfer - in addition to this, the TMOD team has been a bit thin on the ground in the past, and we have only typically got involved where a Report was made, so if players have been able to resolve it themselves, we wouldn't have got involved. This is incorrect. Your bid was invalid: I have reversed this trade and forced the correct outcome of this auction. If you have uncertainty in future, wait for a response from a member of Staff before making a decision. @Metalgreymon since you have ignored a clear warning, a punishment will be issued to your account. @Chizune I had issued a punishment to your account for False Offer, but since you have cooperated, I have decided to remove it, since this was your first trade related infraction and I do believe there was adequate reason to be confused on your side.

Hi @Leoreece & @Lolurface I have forced this trade for you. Please reply to let me know if you have received the money/Pokémon correctly. Also in future, as this as a variant form, please use the Shiny and Special sub-forum.
-
Hi @Damanhko Because of this, I have edited your bid to your original bid of 600K. Please do not do this again - if you do, it will be considered a false offer and dealt with accordingly.
-
Hi @Darksoul56 and @Dream123456 I have forced this trade. Please both can you check and reply to let me know you have received your money/Pokemon (respectively) properly?
-
Hi @Darksoul56 You had reported requesting a Force Trade, it looks like all is in order and the trades were made. Is that correct? Please tag me and reply to let me know if you still need help.

Hi @Ssjkm While multiboxing is permitted (meaning: in control of two or more accounts at the same time), the use of any software or hardware to mirror or automate ANY actions at all, is not. We do use the term "multiboxing" in our rules and Punishment Policy, but the way this is used is to generalise the use of any aids to streamline the act of playing from more than one account at once - whether that's using a keyboard linked to both accounts so essentially all inputs are duplicated/mirrored, or using third-party software. As long as you are playing both accounts legitimately, the way the game is intended to be played, i.e. manually with no added aids of any kind, it's fine. Is this clear or do you need any further explanation?
