    The answer was already given to the OP but just wanna add Gen1 and Gen2 have their updated movepools to Gen6 if not Gen7 but the following Gens (3,4,5) are stuck with their Gen5 movepool; Gen6 is again updated to Gen6 tmk. :P

    I can confirm that it's 10k and iirc was always like that. :P I usually farm my EV's there but I agree with Nathan, the wording is a bit off.
