+1. We wouldn't want someone who can't code to be a developer just as we don't want someone who's completely new to competetive to be in charge of pvp here. Show us the way
-
At this point I couldn't care less about "legends being legends" and all that. All I want at this point is a showdown MMO or something close to that. That's why I want legends to be catchable multiple times.
-
I personally really like the idea of letting us catch more than 1 of each legendary as some are versatile enough to be played in many natures as jirachi can be played with careful and jolly for example. I like your idea of choosing 3 legendaries together and then have a 33% chance of getting exactly what you want if that's what you meant. That would drastically improve the odds at least. Anyway thanks for the support.

From the information I got in the PRO discord support channel you're able to catch legendaries that you already own.
-
I'll start off by saying that this is a step towards the right direction. Staff, I know you already had this planned long before my thread but at least the whole concept of letting us catch all legendaries is something you're for after all. Anyway let's get right into it. So first of all this is the information I've gotten about the mysterious ticket: * 1 single ticket costs 100 pvp coins OR pve coins. * The odds for getting a legendary is 45%, odds for rotom is 5% and you have a 50% chance of getting a pseudo legendary. * The legendaries that can be obtained are Mew, Celebi, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Jirachi, Latios, Latias, Heatran, Azelf, Uxie, Melsprit (12 different legendaries) Based on this information it's clear that the odds of obtaining a legendary that you want already is really low. Let's say you want a relaxed Uxie for example and that you chose to catch Azelf out of the sinnoh trio. The odds of catching the Uxie with the mysterious ticket is 1/12 of 45/100 which is a 3.75% chance. So the let's round that off and say it's a 4% chance. For 100 pvp coins you get a 4% chance of catching your desired legendary which you will also either have to use a bunch of ultra balls or use a master ball to catch (just as catching a normal legendary I guess, but just pointing it out) which means most people will end up spending 110 coins if they do get lucky and encounter any legendary at all for that low 45% chance. What I think should be changed: * The pseudo legendary spawns AND the rotom spawn should be either completely removed or changed to something like 20-10%. Sure, we're able to use both pvp and pve coins to obtain this ticket but unless you spam pvp it will take a long time to get a ticket without having to buy many many expensive tickets in trade chat to obtain that desired legendary you want (this also includes ladder players since they still have to wait until the next month to get those reward coins). Regarding pve coins, you can only get like 25(?) every 4 days from the battle tower and also the sinnoh underground where you can go once a day and get 1-3 pve coins if you find the treasure. What I'm trying to say with all this is that it's wayyy too much of a gamble to make it worth it and only the really rich players and the players who ladder every single season will be able to get their desired legendaries except a few lucky players. Keep in mind, there's also a 50% chance to even land the sync once you encounter your desired legendary which makes the odds even lower of getting what you want. * Either what I wrote above or make it a lot easier to obtain mysterious tickets or lower the price A LOT. With the current odds I would say it's just a big scam until those tickets cost about 30-40 pvp coins and 50 pve coins. Another way of solving this could also be to always include free mysterious tickets in upcoming events and make some bosses give them as reward (and not with incredibely low odds). With all this being said I still think just letting us catch all the legendaries that are available from this instead of making it a huge gamble, but it is what it is. This feature does have the potential to become something useful but right now it's just a big money sink. TL;DR Either remove pseudo legendary spawns and Rotom spawns, make the mysterious tickets much cheaper or add them as boss rewards and give out free mysterious tickets in upcoming season events. I'm not satisfied with a 4% chance of catching my desired legendary and I assume most players would want better odds as well. Thanks for reading another wall of text if you did. Edit: They lowered the price to 75 pvp coins. This is 1 step towards the right direction. Thanks for the support everyone. Edit n2: The price has went back to 100 pvp coins. Edit n3: Thank you for changing it back to 75 coins, staff xD

Having 6 lvl 100 pokemon is just not a reason. People not caring is really the reason even if you don't believe it. I, myself and every single person I socialize with in the game don't care about it and it was sadly just a waste to even implement it to begin with since I've even tested going into unranked queue multiple times just to see if anyone is actually in it. It always times out since there's noone else queueing up and people not being able to get 6 lvl 100s is just not true since there are hundreds, if not thousands of RANKED pvp battles every day with the same requirements to queue up.
-
No, the reason why unranked queue is dead is because simply nobody cares about it. Dividing the pvp system into even more tiers will have a huge negative impact since even the ranked queue takes a while to match you with other players. By giving people more option they would either start playing different stuff and make every queue take a long time to get matched in or simply just be another dead queue just like unranked already is which would just end up being a waste of time and energy for the devs. The playerbase of this game is just too small to have more tiers.

It would be great if any trade mod could close all 3 of my auctions, I'll try selling them in other ways instead, ty. -
Auction: epic jolly sand rush excadrill

Been gone for a while, but yea the auction is canceled since I'm not satisfied with the only offer. I'll probably still sell it at another point so stay tuned for that if you're interested @Sukres although it probably won't be in an auction since this didn't go very well. -

Thank you guys for all the positive feed back. It seems to me like most players are with me on this one. Bump :)

Even if you won't let us catch legends with over 600BST this thread was mainly focused on the trios. None of the current available legend trios have over 600BST so I don't see why that would matter here.

A cooldown does sound reasonable. 3 months are a bit too much in my opinion but I think that's something to be discussed after this idea passes.
-
Yeah I agree on that as well.

Hello everyone. First of all I'd just like to start with that I'm really happy with all the progress that has been made by the developers. At this point there's almost nothing pvp related to complain about which is great of course. Almost every move, ability and pokemon is coded, we have team preview and I've heard (but haven't seen staff confirm it myself) megas are on the way as well. With all these pvp changes I feel like it's time we take another step and give every player the freedom to catch every single Sinnoh lake trio, every single legendary dog and etc. Pros: * The pvp meta will be more diverse as players can now have a bigger pvp pokemon collection and therefore less limits in team building. * Many old players (including myself) chose their trio legendaries long ago and some regret the choice they made. Sure, everyone did have a choice but some players don't really know what play style they prefer to use when they catch legendaries and later find out that their chosen legend doesn't suit them at all. * This would mean another step towards us being able to "catch them all" which is what pokemon is all about anyway. Cons: * There will be a huge demand of reroll tickets, which would either have to bring more events or new ways to obtain them. * It will make bosses easier to beat since we will get more options to counter some and that's not really optimal since most bosses already are way too easy. Keep in mind I'm talking about the trios here. None of them are ubers and they're all balanced in pvp. I still believe we should be able to catch all legendaries and just ban away those who actually are problems. What's in ubers are in ubers for a reason and that's not what this thread is about. I'm only bringing this up to make it clear what this thread is about after having discussions about this topic in different discords within this community. One of the points that some brought up was that this would ruin the creativity in the meta and make people run 6 legendaries in 1 team. I have to completely disagree with that since running 6 legendaries in 1 single team isn't a very good idea with the current legends we have in the game and I also believe that more mons always mean more room for creativity. Lastly I just want to say that the pros are way bigger than the cons and I would love to see this implemented. TL;DR Letting us catch all the trio legendaries will improve the pvp meta game, it will let old players who regret their choice finally obtain their desired trio without having to start a new account. It would also mean that we would be one step closer to be able to catch all pokemon. All this for the price of having to fix another way to obtain reroll tickets and making the bosses a little bit easier. Thank you for reading :)

+6 252 Atk Life Orb Adaptability Crawdaunt Crabhammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Torterra: 746-879 (189.3 - 223%) -- guaranteed OHKO That's jolly Crawdaunt vs a +defense nature with full evs on def and hp. Sure, this is lvl 100 but I really doubt those extra 20 levels buff it so much. +6 252 Atk Life Orb Adaptability Crawdaunt Crabhammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Torterra on a critical hit: 1118-1318 (283.7 - 334.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO Here's what a crit does to a lvl 100 Torterra. There might actually be a bug here unless they buffed bosses beyond a normal amount of base stats or evs.

You should also mention adding a text showing how many turns are left for dual screens and trick room whenever that's coded as well as showdown shows that as well. Nice list otherwise.
