I like your idea. A more interactive world would be fun. But on the other hand, with the current team and system limitations that PRO have/had*, I highly doubt this would ever be a thing with the current framework. *Refering to when PRO used to unexpectedly crashed all the time because of too many objects/NPCs/Players in a single map/tile.
-
This is essentially coming to PRO sometime in the distant future and is already a highly prioritized feature on their Dev-To-Do list.
-
From what my source told me, they are going to make a script allowing the players to choose which one to keep. But, this might be subject to change, all depending on what is the best solution and possible to make in the alloted time before the merge.
-
-1 As already stated above, it can lead to scammers and or beggers to target and PM the user who obtained it. While most players will know what to do and or ignore them, some might fall victim to their evil intentions and this feature will help boost the likelihood of such happening.

Just want to address something real quick. Player declining isn't what's really driving the reasoning for why they want to forge merge into one big server, from what my source is telling me. But its important to understand why people are leaving, and the main reasoning is that the game is stalling with content, and I won't go on further with that topic now. Anyway, back to where I was. Imagine having two different clients you need to fix a bug for or push a new feature to, with two different sets of databases. Well, I can verify that one of the main reasons for the merge is to make it easier for PRO to push content to their servers and rather have one large server to focus on, performence wise its also better in the long run. I honestly believe its a good thing, considering PRO has such a closed-off small staff and development team. Its better to focus on one server and database, rather then two or three while they don't have the capability or the numbers to expand their horizons, especially development wise. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Create an additional tier to indicate the most common spawn on a route.
Desumi replied to Karyoplasma's topic in Suggestions
-1 I don't think putting them into their own exclusive category would do a whole much for the spawning mechanism and would create more confusion. Furthermore, I like how the game currently plays and I don't think the spawning mechanism would need another upgrade/downgrade to its performence. But then again, I don't hunt on a daily/weekly basis and mainly just during WQs. -
You have the Legendary Megathread guide and there also exists one on PRO wiki that can be found here. Hopefully they will help you step-by-step in order to catch Jirachi. Best of luck!
-
If you fufill all of these requirements, than its more likely that you've missed a step in the process. Also do pay attention to the fact you also need a total of 210 evolutions, as well as the seen data for Kanto, Johto and Hoenn respectively.
-
You can obtain all three of them through the Forces of Nature quest Furthermore, this has not been updated since 2021 and is severely outdated. I recommend using either the official Wiki or Complete PRO Pokedex guide/post I made, featuring every catchable Pokemon on PRO to today's date and is updated accordingly for finding useful information about any Pokemon found on PRO.

+1 As for potential rewards, how about being given a garanteed shiny Pokemon from a set predefined Pokemon, on any successful 15 day streak and a garanteed Shiny Unown on any 30 day streak and it resets once 30 is reached? Much like the Sinnoh Newspaper and its shiny Wingull. While it won't really target the broadest of players, its still a neat addition for those that want to collect forgotten or uninteresting Pokemon (or not as popular - is a better term), much like Unown.

Well, their QnA streams are pretty much always hosted when I sleep and I've watched like 2 or 3 of them in total, and I cba to watch it when I wake up. So I guess I haven't heard about that part, thanks for sharing the info though. Also, not too interested in watching QnA streams as I find them pretty much messy and unorganized, PRO's is no exception and I rather want it in a readable format. As for the idea in itself... I've seen a fair share of people saying they are against the idea and even going as far as saying it will ruin the game/"often tends to ruin a game". But their vision is pretty much narrowed down to their own personal views on it and I can't blame them for not seeing the bigger picture of an feature. I do personally believe a Action House is pretty much benefitting the community as much as for staff and player alike, granting staff an actual platform to monitor, instead of having to go through each and every new or old thread, looking for every single small detail in x amount of reply pages, often entailing dates and often not voided trades, whereas a system could easily do half of this and moderators could just handle the rest manually where needed. And users could actually have a common platform to follow trades in live time, instead of having to focus on chat every now and then because their bid was overtaken. But it all comes down to how small and closed-off PRO's team have become over the years and I hate to see a good game suffering from not having enough man(or girl)power to execute something benefitting themselves in the long run.
-
PRO already have something similiar planned, or had. Idk, Auction house on Dashboard have been pretty much stuck on "SOON" tag for the past few years. But I think its a neat addition, would help tracking trades a bit easier for both staff and players alike, unlike the current methods PRO uses today.

Welcome back and I hope you'll find yourself right at home on the forums!

You can only board SS Anne if you've met the two following requirements; Having talked to Lt.Surge and obtained the ticket from Bill on Route 25. Here is a quote sourcing my statement from the walkthrough found on PRO's wiki, directly from the SS Anne part: If this is not the case for you, can you try to following the walkthrough here. And if you've done everything in order and it still doesn't work, please go ahead and report this as an potential bug here. Hopefully this resolved your question.

So sorry for the late response and also thank you for showing interest by applying. After carefully reviewing your application, I've decided to accept it and we as a guild wish you all welcome. As for answering your P.S, we see no problems with taking in more members and is not just limited to the applier. I will shortly send you a private message with some information about joining. Once again, thank you for showing interest in our guild and we're pleased to see new members join.

-1 While I understand your main reasoning for suggesting this, you can at any time login on the other server that you have yet to play on. Rendering this part pointless unless you want to reset after completing the entire game, which would take months (due to events being a seasonal thing and some Legendaries are still event-locked). So it doesn't really apply to anyone but those who wants to reset on every occasion they get or who wants to get the best Kanto starter with insane IVs on their alts and basically abuse the hell out of this.

Can't answer your original question nor check, but I can confirm that according to the wiki and Reborn as a base source, as well as in-game Pokedex that Membership is NOT required to encounter those Pokemon on that specific map. Unless it was changed and not documented, it is encounterable by all non-membership players alike by Surfing/Fishing. You may try to use a Super Rod or greater to encounter both of them, unless a bug is preventing them from being encounterable, whereas it should be reported as a potential bug.

Old men don't want to let me go in exploration
Desumi replied to Middayy02's topic in General Support
If you lost the fight, you'll need to head back to Pallet town and go talk with Jackson's Mom for her to move him out of the way. After that you can freely enter Viridian Forest. On the counterpart, if you won the fight, you are freely to enter Viridian Forest without having to return to Pallet town. Hope this solves your question and if you are stuck during any part of your Kanto journey, I recommend you to read this walkthrough guide. Best of luck with your Kanto journey! -
New Event or Event Weeks - fill up the break easter - summer
Desumi replied to Backo0711's topic in Suggestions
+1 Seems like a entirely doable and realistic event idea. Whether or not they have the resources to execute it, is another question. -
Hydration is currently coded into the game and should be working, as for Ice Body I can't give you a definite answer. But according to the wiki it still doesn't have its own page, which often means its still broken/not coded in, but I might be wrong on that front, so don't quote me on that.
-
+1 Don't see any reasons not too. Could be conflicting with the current version of PRO that they follow irrc, but that's the more technical stuff I'll leave for the tryhard experts to resolve.
-
Its a pokemon in the PvP random battle lineup irrc. However, you cannot catch it, nor is it a encounterable in the wild as part of any quest or events. So its purely available in PvP random battles irrc.

-1 I've seen countless suggestions about merging the servers once again since they were first merged from Red, Blue, and Yellow to Silver and Gold. The reason why I feel that they don't need to be merged again is that they differ from each other, all from Economy to PvP. Having 1 combined server would be a really large project to undergo because you'd need to pay attention to various different aspects of each server that makes each their unique platform. Furthermore, combining them into one major server would in the long run cause various different issues on the backend and perhaps even more on the frontend? I personally and objectively feel that PRO isn't a "dying" game as some individuals claim it to be. Yes, the numbers are significantly lower than during the golden age of PRO, but there are plenty of other ways to maintain and create new ways to obtain newer players to PRO. To be blunt, PRO has a major issue with marketing their game on social media platforms, with the exception of YouTubers and Twitch streamers promoting the game on a weekly or monthly basis, consistently. A lot more people usually log on during events, especially if new content is released. Otherwise, a lot of the player base is probably at the stage where they don't need to do a lot, like me. To sum it up, merging them once more is going to create more issues, and is that really worth it? I personally rather want Astrella Region to be completed and have more consistent new content released than seeing 30 more people in a single tile on every map.

Please allow to use poke balls in ev zone and help me getting my shiny back!
Desumi replied to Avanox2's topic in Suggestions
-1 Before I start, I want to say that I am sorry that you had to go through this horrendous teasing experience, and I can ensure that you aren't the first one, nor the last one to experience this bug. To be blunt, there is sadly no way retrieve that shiny Pidgeot, because that is just how PRO works, irrc they don't have the tools for it and it would be unfair for all the others who have gone through the same experience in the past. And even if they did, the area is designed to be a non-catchable zone, so it wouldn't make much sense IMO. Furthermore, the main reason I gave this suggestion a -1 is that your suggestion allows people to catch Pokemon, regardless of their shiny/event counterpart, which will/can be abused. Not to say that it is a bad suggestion, rather the opposite. But because the area is used for EV training, there is no real need to be able to catch the Pokemon you want to defeat for EV points. And some spawns are rather "attractive" and thus a non-catching zone is the best viable option for the area. -
Its a -1 from me, at least the way you want to revamp it. And I'll explain why below. But I do think the suggestion is nice, just not befitting on PRO with its RNG factors IMO. To start, PRO is mostly resolving around RNG. So having an option of selecting a specific IV after each failed reroll can be "abused" or "broken". And I personally feel like it removes the RNG factors from the entire system. But, if its randomized... it can work to some extents. But I still feel like a "pity system" isn't needed on PRO. Because luck is what drives this game into a grindy game, which controls the market and the values each item have. And all that is fine by me. A Pokemon MMORPG game is meant to be grindy and interesting. But having a pity system is the polar opposite, even if its just for the reroll tickets system. But, this doesn't render the suggestion useless, because I think it has potential, just perhaps not in this suggested state.
