  1. Hello. I would like to introduce you my idea for Battle UI rework. I think I've met all requirements from the first post, so let's begin: First of all I've decided to move the main menu to the bottom bar. We have more space now on the right side so we can add Mega Evolution and Z-Move buttons. Each button is active only if the right item is detected on Pokemon. On the left side I've added Battle Log and Battle Info tabs. [spoiler=1 vs 1] Moving main menu to the bottom gives also advantage for more items visible when backpack is opened. It can save time during scrolling through item list. [spoiler=Items] Now, when we have hazards info on the left tab, we can change current mouse hover option. It could show stats changes and other effects active on each Pokemon, when you hover mouse on Pokemon's name. [spoiler=Stats] Let's move to the 2v2 and 3v3 battles. It would be much easier if the game could show which Pokemon is currently attacking and which opponent's Pokemon should be hit by the move. The base plate of active Pokemon could be green and after choosing right move the opponent's plate is red. [spoiler=2 vs 2] [spoiler=3 vs 3] And about Z-Moves. After choosing Z-Move button instead of regular moves list it should show all Z-Moves available for Pokemon. [spoiler=Z-Move] [spoiler=Z-Move List] Hope you like my idea :)

  2. Wew I have played this game since lately 2k15. And comeback in early 2k16 when sv Yellow released. I have played Pokemon when I was a child, 8 years old. I played red, green, yellow, gold, silver, crystal, fire red, leaf green, ruby, sapphie, emerald, diamond, pearl, platium, black, white. And at 2k11,2k12. When we can't have emu to play 3d's. I quit Pokemon world, and go play dots 2. Become a semi-pro, for 4 years. And i quit dota at 2k16, back with Pokemon, at PRO. Now ima finally can have my Xmas munchlax after using 1 month on love (can have much time coz have to go to work at a lab and take care my daughter 2 years old). Last week xmas. Ima not sleep. Send all time on love island coz daily time from 2am to 6am. And now I can goodbye xmas My daughter and snorlax doll. Love all. Merry Xmas xD

  3. In near future there will be a significant PVP update. My full concentration is set on this right now, which is why there will probably less updates in the next time. For this PRO needs a new Battle UI, because the current one is missing a few features. There are already staff members who work on it, but as their specialty lies in other areas, I want to give everyone the possibility to participate. That's why I make a small event out of it. Everyone is allowed to create a new Battle UI and the Battle UI that will be taken over will be royally rewarded. The one gets a non-tradable shiny of your choice. The nature can be chosen, the IVs and ability will be generated randomly. The Pokemon must be catchable by everyone. The following things have to be added in the new Battle UI: - Enough space for 2v2 and 3v3 fights. - Buttons for Megas, Z-Moves and Cancel a move. - Some kind of battle log should be included as well. - Every current element (items, run away, moves, switch Pokemon) should be included obviously. - An option to show boost and effects (SPD x 1,5, Paralyzed, Taunted etc.) would be great. - Weather and room effects as well as their turn count. You do not have to stick to the current design. You can change it completely, even make it full screen mode. That is completely up to you. Please note, that if we take non of the submitted designs, there will be no winner at all. You have 30 days (Janurary 15th, 11:59 PM GMT+0) to submit a battle UI. The time might be extended if there's no usable design till then. This post will be unlocked in 2 weeks on December 30th, please post your battle UIs in here. Do not make any unrelated posts here. Please only post the final UI in here. The winner has to submit the final design, all UI elements and has to give PRO the permission to use it. Good luck to every participant.

  5. Sadly my laptop have broken 2 week ago. So in last week xmas.and I need to go to cybernet 3 overnight, hunt until 5am. Sleep 2hours and go to work at 7h30 am. Lol. If not will tons of love for munchlax, I don't know how can I still awake :))

  6. Hello guys (: Please open the spoiler and click on the images to view them. [spoiler=1v1_first impression] The first picture is 1v1 clean version. This means it doesn't contain info boxes and effect boxes. The 2nd picture include those boxes I've mentioned. When opening the Battle Information the sprites should resize to fit the battle field. The Info boxes for moves and stats are ONLY seen when you hover on it PC player. Mobile user can press the i-con for move information. For stat information mobile player can double click the name. Here you can see the screen for people who prefer the menu on the left side. Can be achieved through the settings toggle on the top left side. If you would like to chat , you might use the settings which are on the bottom side at the battle information box. [spoiler=Menu_UI_switching_and_items] Here you can see the UI when you want to switch out the current Pokémon which is placed in a slightly green box. For 2v2 and 3v3 there will be obviously 3 green boxes to indicate which Pokémon are active fighting. Defeated Pokémon are shown with a red overlay. Here you can see the UI for using ITEMS. There is a quick pick( Last used item) and 3 categories which are like tabs. The first category has all HP and status items. The 2nd has Pokéballs. And the 3rd has battle items such as X-Attack pills or whatever they are called. [spoiler=2v2 and 3v3] Here you see 2v2 with the battle information. So the sprites are smaller. Here 2v2 without battle information. Sprites are slightly bigger. Here 3v3 with the battle information. Sprites slightly smaller. Here 3v3 without battle information and the sprites are resized again. [spoiler=Z_move and mega_stone] Depending on the pokemons item these icons should be clickable and you will be asked to use Z-move or Mega Evo. You can cancel it or press ok. *Important* For normal moves you won't be asked. Also the name of the Z move will be in the dialog box top right corner!!! Not in the actual former move. Since the longest Z - Move name has 25letters. Everything done so far is using the mobile first approach. Which means that I designed it for mobile devices( 360x640). The reason for that is that it is easier to scale later on since all Elements are already implemented. #responsive Most Icons and Elements were done by me. I can provide you with further support and also adjust the design to your liking. Here you can see how it would look on a mobile device.   7. I'm kotzf , I'm mobile user , I think some button is too small ,so i design bigger button for battle ui. Any color.button.position u can change, I just provide more comfortable ui.   9. Hello, I don't play the game often, but I was sad to see that the linux version is no longer supported, (there's nothing we can do about it, hoping it will be native again). I don't know if I'm the best person to make a guide but I didn't see any on the forum so I propose myself. I recommend you to use the staging version of wine. Setting up the WINEPREFIX Your default [iCODE]WINEPREFIX[/iCODE], which is pointless since it already has a default value of [iCODE]~/.wine[/iCODE] when undefined). We will also set [iCODE]WINEARCH[/iCODE] to [iCODE]win32[/iCODE]. That will make this [iCODE]WINEPREFIX[/iCODE] only able to execute 32-bit apps, which is fine in our case. It is recommended to make your prefix 32-bit only if you don’t need 64-bit support(and there will be a problem later if we use the 64bits version.) export WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.wine_pro" # This is the path to a hidden folder in your home folder. export WINEARCH=win32 # Only needed when executing the first command with that WINE Install [iCODE]winetricks[/iCODE]. It is included in repositories of most Linux distros. Install .NET Framework 4.5: [iCODE]winetricks dotnet45[/iCODE] Press next at every step.   10. Welcome to SideLines "Cheap pokemon boss guide" The purpose of this is to show how to beat bosses with pokemon that are very easy to find and level up. I have seen many boss guides that have become very helpful to me and other people, however finding these required pokemon, especially with my luck, had become a pain since I was spending hours on end looking for one Tier 9 just for a sync fail or terrible IVs, or for the guide to tell me something that should happen, and doesn't happen. So this is my guide on how I beat certain bosses with pokemon that are very easy to find. 1). Disclaimer 2). Pokemon Guide 3). Leveling up pokemon guide 3). Particular Boss Strategies. [spoiler=Needed Pokemon] 1). Pelipper This is the staple in this team, and by far will be the most used pokemon, this started off as a backup to when I followed other boss guides, and whenever they went wrong I ended up using pelipper and sweeping the boss, ever since this has pretty much done most bosses and is a very easy to get pokemon. This pokemon as you probably know is very easy to find, It took me like 5 wingulls to catch a decent one. I recommend running what playstyle you suite, I prefer offensive playstyles so I went with quiet nature, however bold, calm, modest are also viable options. With EVs I went 252 DEF and 252 SPATK however with other natures switching SPATK and HP Is also a decent setup, or maybe only EV training DEF and SPDEF, however be careful, because you might not be as hard hitting. The moveset is pretty standard, Roost for healing, Stockpile is probably the most used move, as it is used for setting up, Hurricane for STAB move and Surf for STAB move. 2). Gliscor Gliscor is one of our star players due to its typing and its access to Roost. As soon as I got this pokemon, I actually started to beat bosses, again this is required for the team and I will constantly repeat how useful its typing is. This may seem as if it is difficult to find, but get a pokemon with headbutt, go to route 11, 27, 46 have an impish sync natu, and just headbutt all the trees, this was the first one I found out of 8, amd its IVs arent even that great however it still sweeps, honestly isn't hard to find, and if you fail to find one, it is only a days wait. With gliscor impish is pretty much mandatory because swords dance when setting up covers the attack stat enough to be able to sweep. Left overs is again used just so we counteract the small amount of damage done to us, this could be enough to allow us to use a roost if we get to low. Earthquake destroys bosses and acrobatics is a very good stab move ( Wing attack is also very good but it is an egg move which requires beating naero). Anyway this is a golden player. 3). Clefable Clefairy is what I like to call a multitool, this thing is honestly a truck, and hits like 4 of them, you probably know yourself how well this thing does due to its SPDEF and its move pool. This took me the longest to find and unfortunately even though the IVs are good, I wont be able to use it in PvP so thats kind of a bummer, however I can destroy bosses with it. This is a tier 2 pokemon in route 115 (the route above rustboro) so I caught two boxes of them and sifted through the good ones and bad ones. As you can tell leftovers is my favourite item and is very useful. The moveset is moonblast for attacking, calm mind and cosmic power for setting up, and soft-boiled for self healing. The only downside to Clefable is that it takes 12 turns to setup, this means its more likely for a crit to hit, and for Clefable to die, because crits in pro ignore setup moves, other than that this thing is a beast. [spoiler=Side Pokemon] These pokemon although aren't in the required section, they are most likely necessary due to backups and sweeping with pokemon that might be more effective. 1). Seaking This is very common in defeating bosses and you probably already know why we would use a seaking (THIS COPIES OTHER GUIDES IK) Goldeen is tier 1 pretty much everywhere but Tohjo Falls it is the only thing you can find, bring a modest sync and an electric type to test if its hidden ability or not, I found it being much quicker and I ended up finding like 5 in half an hour, you also don't need good IVs at all, thats what the setup agility and lightning rod is for. This obviously baits out the oponent to use electric type moves just for it not to have an effect on us, and boost our SPATK so we end up sweeping. Signal beam is for coverage against grass types various other types, Surf for STAB, Agility to setup us and get us up to MK 6 speed, and icebeam for coverage, also it should be holding a nevermelt ice, which can be found on swinubs, to boost ice beam. 2). Yanmega Yanmega is a very recommended sweeper to have on the team, as we will be using it to stall on bosses to max our speed, or just gradually outspeed things if we can't stall Yanma is tier 3 in sinnoh safari area and tier 4 in route 35, however the best way to do it is headbutt on routes 3,15, 28 and 34 with a timid sync. This pokemon because of speed boost becomes a sweeper, and is very recommended to have, and is very useful because of this feature for starting of and finishing. The only problem with Yanmega is that it is frail. Run Bug Buzz for stab, Air slash for stab, aincient power for coverage against fire and psyhcic to get rid of posion types and ghost types, however you can switch psychic with what you wish, you can run roost if you want, however if you get hit you are most likely going to get K.O'd. This pokemon here is defintely a valuable sideline. 3). Alakazam Alakazam is an OKAY alternative to yanmega as it gets good speed of the bat straight away however it is also extremely frail and a very big risk to whether you will outspeed or not. Abra is tier 6 in most places which is higher than Yanma, it is also a lot more frail on the defensive side. I would run Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Energy Ball and psyhcic this pokemon is really only my plan B when it comes to bosses, and more of a gamble to whether it will be effecient or not, I will rarely talk about this pokemon but none the less, if you have an Alakazam already I wouldnt worry about getting a Yanmega. 4). Azumarill Azumarill can be very important if you have one, as it is quite easy to obtain and has access to very good setup moves Marill ranges from tier 4 to tier 6, but mainly is around tier 5, so they might be a little harder to find, I would recommend sitting there with a adamant sync and grass type pokemon waiting for it to say it has Sap Sipper. Then you would want to run Surf for STAB, Play Rough for STAB, Defense Curl and Amnesia for setting up. This thing acts as a "bait pokemon" just like Seaking and lightning rod ability, it encourages bosses to use grass type moves on Azumarill, which only benefits us, I won't use azumarill often but when we do it's because its the only way. [spoiler=Harder To Get Pokemon] These pokemon are a little harder to get but by chance if you already have them or are willing enough to put a little more time into getting them, they will definitely help out alot in this guide. 1). Honchkrow This pokemon is an absolute knife in bosses because of its high attack stat, and very useful moveset. Murkrow is tier 6 inside Old Chateau Dining Room in sinnoh's eterna forest, it took me around half an hour to get a h.a one, I sat in their with an adamant sync and a pokemon that has hypnosis, and tried on each murkrow a couple of times and if it fell asleep it means it didn't have insomnia, this means that it could have h.a. I would run Sucker Punch, Assurance, Wing Attack and Brave Bird, (This is the pic before I got brave bird) Honestly if you don't have this I wouldn't bother but it will make some bosses a lot easier, also the Battle Boss - This is necessary 2). Rotom-wash/heat This pokemon is a static encounter at this point of making the video, you just need to have beaten sinnoh. Both these Rotoms are very good and can handle a lot of bosses on their own, however their moveset is very poor and I only mention this for a last resort pokemon. The way to get this static encounter is here. The moveset recommended is Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, Charge and the third is up to you (This is not the final moveset in the picture) Tbh Rotoms moveset doesn't allow for much freedom with bosses, if it were able to learn any moves that allow setup then it would be good, but other than that this thing is a last resort tank. I only recommend Wash and Heat versions because they get the best moves upon levelling up compared to the other rotoms. 3). Weavile Weavile is a one hit pokemon where it is very rare that you will get more than one hit out on a pokemon before dying, we only use it for final hits as we have a pretty much guarantee outspeed with its very high speed. Sneasel is tier 6 in mt. silver exterior, and it did not take me long to find, I would recommend a jolly sync, mine failed however and I didnt want to wast these IVs. A life orb is also recommended for this pokemon. So Moveset is Ice punch, Ice Shard, Low Kick or Brick break and knock off. This pokemon is extremely frail so I only recommend it if we are super effective against it or for a final blow on a pokemon. BOSS GUIDE

  12. Hello. I would like to suggest a little visual update to Pokemon forms other than shiny. It would be nice to see icons for each form next to the Pokemon name, just like S with shiny ones. I think it could be helpful during hunting, because some of the forms are really hard to see on smartphone screen (for example pinkan male Nidoran vs regular one). I made fast prototypes to show how it could look like: - for Christmas Pokemon - for Easter Pokemon - for Halloween Pokemon - for Valentine's Day Pokemon - for Piknan Pokemon - for clone Pokemon And here this is a test screenshot from the game how it could look during gameplay: Hope you like this idea!

  15. I am a gold server player. I was playing a pvp game versus a low ranked opponent when the servers went down a few minutes ago. I did not disconnect, the servers went offline. That counted as a loss and lost 25 rating points from an easy game. It s not the first time it happens and always considered as a loss when server crashes. I thought in this case none of the players is rewarded or loses points. Why i am always losing pvp rating?

I have a Dragonair I was leveling to evolve and as I was finishing the levels with rare candies the game lagged and I used one too many :/ I was hoping a staff member could help me by removing 1 level so it's back to 99 and I can evolve it properly, I would be forever grateful!

Their opponent supposed to face them in Round 2 are automatically qualified for Round 3!   22. Hi again @MikePorto ! There are two possible reasons of why you experienced this issue: Our client had a bug. All Pokémon you caught (Only counts for players in story mode) may had a wrong region as caught region. This means when you were in Johto, you caught Pokémon which were accidentally registered as Kanto Pokémon in our database. As you cannot use Kanto Pokémon in Johto until you have 8 badges, they will be stuck and cannot be removed as player. A merge issue. Sometimes when you merge your account, while you haven't finished the story part of your current region, your party may contain few old Pokémon of your previous regions. As you cannot use Pokémon from previous regions until you have 8 badges in your current region, they become stuck in your party. However, the stuck pokemon will be locked into your PC until you will obtain the 8th badge of your current region. After that, you will be able to use them as much as you want without any issue.   32. Hi there, @Pokbear I would like to start off by saying sorry for the inconvenience that you are experiencing. To shed some light on your issue, I can confirm with a 100% accuracy that is not a bug. This is because Fire Type Pokémon cannot be burned. Flame Orb is: Since a Fire Type Pokémon cannot be burned, Flame Orb consequently did not active on your Flareon despite it having the guts ability. Now as for a solution I recommend using Toxic orb instead Flame Orb. Toxic Orbs works the same exact way as the Flame Orb but it inflicts a Poison Status instead of a Burned Status.   33. Hey everyone ^^, I created a Battle UI and im very proud x) since im kinda new to Photoshop and i spend a lot of time creating this :D. I created a completely new Design but tried to stay as true to the classic design as possible . Sooo i hope U will like it ^^ First Picture shows the Countdown/Timer for the Round (necessary for pvp) 1. Battle LOG I placed the Battle LOG on the left because i think this is the best way and looks nice. in think the battle log should be able to fade in and out so i created a button for it. (Random Text xD as Example) 10/11. Scroll Buttons for Battle Log 2. The Weather should be on the top (seems logic for me xD) A little Icon that shows how many turns left. 3. Field Status My Idea is it to show field status only if u want to. So I created a Button for each Side where u can fade in all Informations. (2nd Picture) 4. Title, Names etc. Here is written what is happening in the moment. For Example: If u Select the Pokemon Button it says"choose" or if u choose Fight in 3v3 Battle it tell u the name of the chosen Pokemon. 5. Buttons Here we have the classic Buttons wich are colored if u choose/hover them. (redesigned :D ) 6.Cancel Button I placed it like this because i think it should be near to the other buttons. 7. Mega & Z- Buttons These Buttons should be gray until they are usable, then they should be highlighted. 8. Boosts and Effects should stay classic at the HP bar of the Pokemon. Big thx to Kad1r and Chroxler (I want to mention Obviously on the Top right Box u have the option to select Pokemon, Attack, Items etc...) =)

  34. Hi everybody My rework should stick to the current design with all new required buttons and stuff included. I designed new buttons for the menu. And so I added in the "FIGHT" window the buttons for Z-Moves, Mega-Evolution and a button for cancel the moves. It would be nice if the attack moves has the color of it type. For example: water attacks are with a blue touch. Maybe we can add a "super effective", "not effective", etc... sign to the different attacks, depending on the enemys pokémon. The information for boosts and effects could be with a hover on the blue information button near by the health bar by each pokémon. The weather stats could be simply added as shown. Maybe as an extra animation for rain for example would be great. You can see at the top left corner a little triangle. With this you can show or hide the battle log as seen below. Important for the textbox is, that every time it arrives the health bars should be hidden imo. Thats all I guess. Do not hesitate to ask if you need more detail informations about my rework battle ui.

  35. Yeah i'm just bummed because i was completely unaware that you can't use items vs nikola. I fought him a long time ago and was able to use items then. I had no warning. Sad There's a difference between "you can't use items in Nikola battle" and "nikola is now harder to beat" :(

  37. My UI devided into 4 big part: PART 1: Actions tab [spoiler=Part 1] -let's start with "main tab". It's the beginning tab where the battle start: New: . Old: I keep and rework the old sprites to make people get used to with it much easier than using the new ones. I removed the useless empty space to make those buttons bigger. The new "X" button at the top help you to disconect from battles, that mean it will work as same as logout but you don't realy have to do that. - Next will be the fight tab when you click the "Fight" button: New: Holding Mega stone: Holding Z-Move: Old: I replaced by the "cancel" button which will save a lot of spaces for every actions tab. When you click the cancel button you will be send to the main tab and cancel everything you haven't finished yet. That also mean this button will work as a "cancel move" button too. After select a move, mega evol or z-move, that button should be flashy like this . I don't know how to make it or what is that calling so I will leave it to you. This allow you to know which pokemon you are picking move at ( kinda useful for 2vs2 or 3vs3 ) and it also replace the empty space on it if pokemon are not holding mega or z. - Items tab: Option 1: Option 2: . Old: - Switch pokemon tab: New: . Old: As we have a bigger tab, choosing pokemon should give more info on the selecting pokemon. - PART 2: Main window [spoiler=Part 2] [spoiler=Part 2] My main window have 2 parts, 1vs1 and 2vs2. And I won't make 3vs3 due to a very simple reason "It's such an stupid mode". 3vs3 cause a lots of work (for the staff, not for me), lots of bug and no one want to play. I can still add the 3v3 battle UI realy quick if you actually want it. - 1vs1: 2vs2: Old: - Hazards keep the same as before because ppl already get used to with it and it take no places. So there are no reason for me to making new one for that. - I don't really know what make weather bugged in PRO so I will put the turns counting for it in the battle log instead of showing on screen and keep it as before. - One more thing I want you to add is when clicking on the opponent's name, it will sending command to inspect that person, so we can easily get more info on OP like rating, guild... ( Making Inspect only work on same location make no sense since U can use reborn bot to do that ) PART 3: Team preview [spoiler=Part 3] [spoiler=Part 3] - The first pokemon showed as "Revealed pokemon" - Second is "Fainted Pokemon" - 3,4,5 showed as "Unrevealed Pokemon" (Incase u want to keep NPC pokemon Unrevealed) - 6 is an " Empty slot" - This tab can be minimize by clicking that bottom button to save screen places if u don't really need it - If you pointing the mouse over the health bar, it will show a screen with that pokemon info like names, moves used, health in % ... ( just suggestion, I don't have UI for that) - If you cliking on the revealed pokemons, it will open pokedex with that pokemon's name on searching. ( just suggestion) PART 4: Battle log [spoiler=Part 4] Why I want to have battle log on game chat instead of making it on battle screen? 1. It will save alots of hard work because game chat is a thing that you already have. 2. It save spaces on screen. 3. It's allow you to chat with opponent throught the log like Showdown. - So, let's explain more on how this thing will work: Basically, when u start a PvP battle, the system will creat and send you and also your opponent to a private channel. All the logs for that battle will be send to that channel. That mean you can also invite your friends to that channel as spectator throught the given room ID. Ofc they can only see the log and be able to chat there only. But it's just the first part of spectating, It's up to you for developing more on this amazing feature. + This PvP channel can't be closed like "Local" channel + You are force to leave the current pvp's room if you logout or enter any battle. + You can Ignore OP by clicking ignore them if you don't like they chatting in logs. + PvE logs can be work the same as this except you can't leave the given room ID. + It will need some rework on this chat but still better than making new one. HII :3, this is my own version of the battle iu ,i decide to keep the visual concept of the game, the principal reason is that is more easy for the :incoming,new ,casual and those that live on the game :v to assimilate the redesign and the way that the iu works , redesigning the space and the visual order of some elements that all the player already know and integrate the new ones by a easy and familiar look . About the new Battle UI I thought a lot and I came to a conclusion about doing a Battle UI based on the old one, because I think the old one is very good, and I think it would be better to recreate it because if I create a new Battle UI, I think it would bother a lot of people who hunt all day and for those people who play the game on the cell phone. So I decided to recreate the old one trying not to disturb the people who play the game on the cell phone and for those who are hunting pokemons all day. Battle 2v2 and 3v3 fights: For 2v2 battles could work with the first two pokémons of your list. For 3v3 battles could work with the first three pokémons of your list Example: In the example I put the video of the Ash playing the pokeballs because I had not found an animation on the internet just playing the pokeball. Button for Megas: For the megas I think it should stay down as it is there in the example. Example: Button for Z-Moves: For the Z-MOVES I think it should stay down as it is there in the example. Example: Button for Cancel: For the Cancel I think it should stay down as it is there in the example. Example: Battle Logs: I think it would be nice to create a button next to the logs, as soon as it clicks the button will appear the logs next. Because there are people who get pokemons all day long, and with the logs appearing this right away I think I could mess up these people who are hunting many pokemons. Listen, after explaining the rules to you countless times about begging people for pokemon you still go around and ask every member for free stuff, we have a channel dedicated to give away free pokemon, people post the pokemon there willing to give away in there for the whole guild to see and take, but after being told this countless times you still went around and begged for pokemon, you never asked to buy, and this is quite rude of you to come back on the forums and do this kind of thing, very sad! Anyways you know why you have been kicked I wish you the best in your next guild :) We were warned about you from a previous guild as well so this isn't the first time this has happened to you :)
