Dear Pro Staff Members, PvP nowadays is rewarding in no way for the players except for the ones who actually aim/hit ladder. This makes pvp more competitive but at the same time more punishing for the new trainers hoping to prevail on pvp. My idea of bringing more people on PvP , except for guild leader constant spamming to their members to hit Top 3 in guild ladder as it happens in most cases, is to add PvP quests. Not something extravagant but something small like PvP 5-10 times daily quest or win 3-5 PvP daily quest again. You could add as reward either some more PvP coins or even item that the chance of it being most expensive item rises the more you stack the quest in row. It's just a small act per player with some reward that will bring life back to pvp area. I know you are busy with other stuff but bringing a change to PvP is something missing for long time now. I hope you will like and try to adapt my idea in the way you think its more fair. PEACE!8 points

that update hasnt no sense, many bosses and there is a limit of only 10 bosses each week. if only 10 bosses how can we got money with only 10 bosses if all epic things are so expensive???3 points

I think it was fine as is since people had a routine set now it messes up their plans Comment if you think they should change back2 points

Bosses was one of the main income of many players, by removing you didn't only take away their income but also damaged the economy as it is now. Especially now since the game is growing and PvP is becoming more and more populair, we can see the pvp items/pvp pokemons prices only going up. If this continues most people will have to save up a lot and in the meantime they potentially could lose interest in pvp and quit the game because they are forced to do only 10bosses a week and only get so little income from it and not being able to do what they want to do in this case pvp2 points

Hi there ! I am Shinohara, one of the Admin of PRO and here to represent the entire staff and Admin Team regarding this topic. I would like to start clarifying that this topic has been discussed different times within the PRO Staff Team, and it was decided to keep it like it is without banning them from PVP for the folowing reasons. It is good to clarify in the first place that the amount of time needed to obtain a pokemon-staff reward is 6 months of good activity. I specified good activity for the simple reason that to receive these rewards not only you have to be a part of the staff, but your activity must meet specific requirements of activity/behaviour and not only. Unfortunately, it is really really hard to give a real idea of how much time a staff member work, since most of the time this is not really visible to everyone in the community. There are people that used to play on their players 4-5 hours per day, and after they joined staff they barely have time to play 1 hour (if lucky) per day or less, to give an idea. I will make the example of myself, that obtained around 650 hours of activity on my player (Keita) around Summer 2018 in 2-3 months and that now, after 17 months of staff activity have 680 hours of playtime, to give an example. I am making this example cause it's the easier for me, but the same goes for many many many other staff member that can confirm you that. You would say: "Ok, but doing that is your choice, isn't it?" Yes, taking this path is indeed our choice, but it is good to point out that if we, and the people that were here before us, would have not taken this path, then the game would still be in a really really raw state for what regard content (no regions, no quests, no legendaries, no cosmetics/mounts, etc) and at the same time the community would be pretty much destroyed by toxicity (which harm the game community) not being punished, economy being destroyed by botters and rmt, scamming cases not handled, etc. We don't get paid for our staff duties, but there are people that literally dedicate 6+ hours per day (some people also dedicate 10+ per day) into them just in order to improve the game and in general make sure the community is enjoying it. -
Also looking into the last year ladders, I can see that as well that there are some players having Pokemon being 3x31 (or 2x31, 1x30) and the rest 25+. They are regular players but their pokemon are really similar to the staff one. I also think that some pokemon benefit from more stats than others or that does not benefit from some of them at all. For example if a Chansey has 31 ATK or 2ATK, it changes absolutely nothing. The same goes for Breloom and SP ATK. Same goes for some legendary such as heatran that does not benefit from ATK at all. So I think it's better to focus on the MAIN STAT of a pokemon. With a quick search (literally few seconds) I can see that there are like 15+ Chansey (non staff or former staff) that have 30+ IV in HP/DEF/SPDEF. This mean that there are 10+ Chansey that have like 30 def, 30 hp, 30 spdef or higher (Correct nature/ability and usable in pvp). I am sure there are way more that with a deep research would come out (I am not a DEV so cannot run query). Should we ban them? No, we shouldn't. Same goes for legendaries, they are obviously more rare than normal Pokemon but I can assure that there are people having them with really realy high main stats (3x30 or similar). As someone pointed out before, the difference from a 3x30 or 3x31 is really minimal, same goes for a 3x28 and a 31x31. Like, mathematically speaking there is clearly a difference, but it's so small that it is really really hard to be perceived, and I can assure you that there are way more things that have an higher impact and that makes that difference even less important. Also, we are moving ourselves to add as PVP tournament prizes the possibility to reroll the stats of a legendary while locking a single stat. For example, you have a 31 DEF suicune, you lock that 31 DEF and reroll all the other stats. This is pretty much for pvp tournament only, since making it public would destroy the whole economy regarding reroll ticket and would be broken. -
Absolutely true! As the person in charge of handling rewards, this has never been a problem just for pure coincidence. However, I was able to recognize how much this was dangerous the same day that the pokemon was made obtainable and the relevant staff requested it, therefore almost immediately. Said staff member was able to use it only for few matches and after we were able to recognize how much that was a problem it was immediately blocked as that was clearly unfair toward our community. I have now developed a new policy where you cannot request the released pokemon in the first 15 days of its release, making it in this way more fair toward our community. Also, the amount of time (currently 15 days) is still to be properly discussed and can potentially be change in something higher (20-30 days), and this is something we are discussing. -
I hope I was able to clarify this topic. I well know that this might be disappointing for you, but unfortunately giving the idea of how much staff work is really hard if you are not inside the staff yourself. I also invite you to read the posts made by the other staff and former staff in this thread as they also said really valid things. With this said, I will now lock the thread and wish you a wonderful day !2 points

+1 true they are ruining many players only source of money in game because of it economy of game will start to fall. We don't need this boss limit remove it2 points

+1 This is completely unfair for player that don't pvp, pve is one of the only things left for them, and they pretty much take it away.2 points

+1, for the love of god just remove the limit. I understand there's too many bosses now in the game, but you can easily get unlucky and get no useful reward from some of them and completely waste your time. Either remove the limit or increase rewards dramatically. This just limits money gain even more for players without giving them an immediate way to compensate. In my opinion, if you're going to limit the amount of bosses they do, limit it as a max to every 3 days, and increase the rewards immediately before you do this change. Otherwise, this is just a huge nerf straight up without compensation. Not everyone can play every day to compensate or hunt every day and some players relied on doing bosses to maintain a basic economy to then spend it on hunting and selling. The synch change was also brutal even when understandable (it didn't follow the original games mechanics, but I mean... bosses? Dig spots? Pokestops? That's not in the originals either), but this feels like another hinderance for players instead of an actual helpful change such as increasing the rewards BEFORE you limit our money gain drastically. I understand now that's too many bosses and maybe the money gain might be too much (it's not THAT much though), but it's not the player's fault that there are so many bosses. I completely understand the change, but I feel extremely annoyed by it. I barely did bosses because most of the time the rewards were a roulette between pathetic or too good, and most of the time it wasn't worth your time (you also have to spend a LOT of money into boss teams and time training them, learnimg moves, trying it out... even when there are low tier options and baton passes).2 points

We have listed ALL of the locations of monetary items in PRO. We've calculated the money gain and taken screenshots and written down the location of all these items: Pearl, Big Pearl, Nugget, Stardust, Star Piece, Big Nugget, Big Mushroom, Small Mushroom. As an extra, I am also listing Rare Candy, since they seem to be of everyone's interest and they're insta sellable on the PROMarket. I've gone through the entire PRO Wiki and made an entire list of the places where the monetary items are. However, there's still a lot of items missing, missing info, and screenshots, and the previous guides for monetary items and hidden items are outdated and the pictures do not even work anymore. I've listed the places I've already been to and taken a screenshot of, but there's still a LOT to find out. I'd ask you all if you want to collaborate to come and help out to find the missing spots and the remaining screenshots for all the info we've gathered. I'm going to copy paste the list here and link the zip file with all my work for now. We are also missing the time frame in which these items respawn, as we are not 100% sure the Wiki info is correct since it's mostly outdated (some of these spots even changed). The guide is 99% done and can thus be considered complete, but it will be edited if any new findings appear or if anyone takes better screenshots of some areas. For now, pictures will be uploaded as attachments in the bottom of this post, and will be fixed and uploaded properly in the post itself. There are way too many pictures to be posted, so it would completely break the post order. We're constantly going to use the Hidden and Monetary Item Location Guide throughout this process: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/132722-url ! Approximate Money Gain if you pick em all up. Boss Guide Main Strategy :- ⦁ Start With Klefki , Do Light Screen (for Spatkers) and Reflect (for Atkers) according to the opponent . Then Paralyze the Foe with Thunder Wave and after that set Spikes until Klefki dies or switch out if all spikes are set up and Klefki is still alive. ⦁ If attacker then after klefki go to Pidgeot , Lower its atk using Feather Dance thrice , then lower its accuracy by Sand Attack 6 times (Use Roost in Between if Pidgeot's life is half or lower) , then switch out . ⦁ If Special attacker then after klefki go to Electrode , Lower its Spatk using Eerie Impulse thrice , then lower its accuracy by Flash 6 times , then switch out . ⦁ After Pidgeot or Electrode , go to Furret and maximize its stats by using Coil (x6) , Agility (x3) and Amnesia (x3) , after that use Baton Pass and switch to Haxorus . ⦁ Now Sweep with Haxorus according to opponents type weaknesses , remember if all move are normal on a poke always use Dragon Claw because of its STAB , except on Steel and Fairy types. Here are Set Details of all 12 Pokemon :-

Note - For Shedinja and Magcargo set details doesnt matter much , you can use any type of set just they should have the first 2 moves , other 2 moves also doent matter . For Breloom and Arbok set matters but moves doesnt , you only need Worry seed on Breloom and Glare , Haze on Arbok . Note - For Bosses Erika , George , Entei Guardian , Officer Jenny , Thor use Lum Berry on Garchomp Instead of Focus Sash . Exception Pokemons :- ⦁ Arbok - Bosses like Bruno , Raikou Guardian (See its Article to clear about Zekrom) , Shamac , Toothless , Link , Naruto Fanboy , Pofessor Rowan use Ground type pokemon as starters which cannot be Paralyzed by Thunder Wave . To Paralyze them you have to set up with Klefki first and then switch to Arbok and paralyze them using Glare and then go on to Pidgeot or Electrode . ⦁ Shedinja - Many bosses like Erika , Suicune Guardian , Lt. Surge , Professor Oak , Terminator , Urahara and Lorelei use pokemon as Starters which cannot do anything to Shedinja because of its ability Wonder Guard . So taking advantage of that just start with Shedinja and do Flash 6 times and then switch on to Klefki and follow the main steps . (Erika , Terminator , Lt. Surge and Urahara can also be defeated with Normal Strategy) ⦁ Breloom - Chuck - Machamp (No Guard) - Attack never misses Misty - Milotic (Competitive) - Spatk is raised if any stat is lowered The Pumpkin King - Bisharp (Defiant) - Atk is raised if stat is lowered James - Malamar (Contrary) - Every stat changes is reversed Steven - Metagross (Clear Body) - Stats cannot be lowered So for all the above bosses use Breloom having the move Worry Seed . Start with Breloom and just do Worry Seed and let him die , and then go on with the main strategy . (You can use any poke with Worry Seed but i prefer breloom because everyone use it as an false swiper ) ⦁ Pikachu - Lance (Dragons Shrine) , Pewdie , Koichi and Nikola bosses use their Starter with life orb which gets killed due to recoil before u can set up and Tigerous uses Salamence with Lum berry which could also be a problem . So start with Pikachu holding Choice Scarf and use Knock Off to remove their Life Orb (Use Nuzzle for Tigerous Boss) and then go on with the main straegy . Note - Pikachu needs at least 12 spd ivs to outspeed nikola's Mewtwo while holding choice scarf . Some Bosses Which Need Different Strategies :- ⦁ Bugsy - For Bugsy , Start With Impish Garchomp and set up Stealth Rock and then use Dragon Tail on Scyther because Scyther uses Brick Break which Breaks Reflect , that could be a problem for Pidgeot to lower its atk cause it also knows Swords Dance . ⦁ Shary and Shaui - This is One of the Hardest Boss in Game , so to defeat this you have to bring Shedinja , Garchomp , Electrode , Furret , Klefki and Haxorus (No PIdgeot) . For Shary , start with Garchomp and use Earthquake on Flareaon (Life Orb) and kill her . Now comes Mienshao , he will use High Jump Kick on Garchomp , switch to Shedinja and Mienshao will get hurt because of crash damage . Then he will use Stone Edge so switch to Garchomp again . Then repeat this process until Mienshao dies , then comes Meleotta . Let shedinja die and then go to klefki and follow the main strategy using electrode. For Shaui , Start With Klefki , set up light screen , paralyze Shaymin , then go to electrode and lower its Spatk and Accuracy and then switch to Garchomp and set Stealth Rock cause Azelf have Focus Sash and we have to break it . Then just setup with Furret and Baton Pass to Haxorus and sweep . Note - Shaui have 2 pokes with focus sash , Azelf and Alakazam , azelf's sash will get broken by stealth rock but alakazam's wont because of its ability Magic Guard. So Remember to put Focus Sash on Haxorus Before Battling Shaui , so that he can survive a critical hit from HP Ice . ⦁ Raikou Guardian - Start with Shedinja and Kill it's Zekrom (Life Orb) and then let Shedinja die , set up with Klefki and then switch out to Arbok because its second Pokemon is Excadrill (Ground Type) , paralyze him and then continue the main strategy using Pidgeot . Team :- Shedinja , Arbok , Klefki , Pidgeot , Furret , Haxorus (No ELectrode) . ⦁ Xylos - Xylos starts with Victini which OHKO's Klefki and Electrode and Pidgeot too , if reflect is not up . So , for that u have to start with Klefki , use Reflect and then go to Pidgeot and use Feather Dance and then Roost twice and then Feather Dance , use Roost time to time whenever pidgeot's life is half or less . After lowering its stats , switch to electrode paralyze her and then Set up with Furret . ⦁ Saphirr - Start with Magcargo and use Memento and then go to klefki use Light Screen and then Reflect and set up spikes if he still survives . Now just follow main strategy using Pidgeot . If you are using absiel rope then you can use Arbok in 6th slot to paralyze Groudon after klefki . Note - You need a Fire Type pokemon in team and a pokemon with Rock Climb or an Abseil Rope to reach Saphirr . So team will be Magcargo , Klefki , Pidgeot , Furret , Haxorus and Rock Climb Pokemon / Arbok (If using Abseil Rope). ⦁ Professor Birch - Birch uses Medicham which gets Killed From High Jump Kick's Crash Damage before Furret can set up and it knows Fire Punch too so we cant kill him using Shedinja . So use Pikachu holding Focus Sash this time . Start with Pikachu , use Protect he will use High Jump KIck and will get Damaged then Attack him using Quick Attack or Knock Off , Pikachu will survive bcoz of sash , now again use Protect and Medicham will die bcoz of Crash Damage . Now go to Klefki and Follow the main Strategy . Team :- Pikcahu (Focus Sash) , Klefki , Pidgeot , Electrode , Furret , Haxorus ⦁ Ash Westbrook - (There is a glitch with Ash Westbroook for now , Knock Off Doesnt Remove Arceus's Life Orb . Hope it gets fixed soon , for now there is a different strategy) Ash starts with Dialga which Knows Roar , and will eventually use it when u set up with furret , so use Chansey . Start with her and Kill Dialga with Seismic Toss and also set up Stealth Rock with Chansey , then comes Reshiram which has Life Orb and also Knows Roar . So Kill Reshiram Too Using Toxic and Seismic Toss . (Dont forget to do Softboiled to recover chansey's HP) . Then Comes Arceus , do the same with arceus too and if chansey dies just go Garchomp and Kill Arceus . Now , let Garchomp die in front of Infernape . Infernape knows Fire Blast and sometimes kills Klefki even if u set up Light screen , So U have to paralyze Infernape . Then go to Pidgeot and use Reflect first , now follow the main strategy . Team :- Garchomp , Chansey , Klefki , Pidgeot , Furret , Haxorus ⦁ Thor - For Thor , you just ave to put Garchomp in 6th Place because it's easy to set up and sweep with haxorus but his last pokemon is Lugia which could survive a Dragon Claw from Adamant Haxorus depending on your Atk IV's and lugia will survive a Jolly Haxorus's Dragon Claw Definitely and will kill Haxorus in a Critic from Aeroblast . So Before setting up with Furret you have to Set Stealth Rock using Garchomp . (Sometimes Klefki is not able to set Spikes becuase of which Mamoswine survives due to its focus sash and damages Haxorus and then lugia kills it in an aeroblast without a crit becuase u will take damage from Zapdos's Rocky Helmet too . So it is mandatory to set Rocks up and also Use Lum Berry on Haxorus instead of Focus Sash to cure the paralysis from Zapdos's Static Ability) After Limit is put on Bosses many people asked me to make a list of top 20 bosses to do . Secondly Using These Pokemon Satisfy the Type Requirements of many Bosses like Klefki for Steven , Electrode for Lt. Surge , Haxorus for Lance , Shedinja for Morty . Q. I use Staraptor , Ampharos , Gorebyss and Conkeldurr in Place of Your pokes , is it OK ? A. Gorebyss is Good , Staraptor is even better than Pidgeot because of Intimidate but i'd say using electrode is better then Ampharos because Electrode can outspeed many pokemon Only with +nature and helps in Paralyzing pokes which Klefki is not able to , like Entei Guardian's Entei . Ampharos have a very low Spd which can pose a Problem if Entei Crits Klefki and then Him too . (Anything Can Happen , Its RNG , so its good to play safe) I highly recommend Don't Use any Attacker other Than Haxorus becuase Haxorus have the Second Highest attacking Stat and he have a high Speed and He learns great Variety of Moves to Counter Different Types . Most Importantly , He has the Ability Mold Breaker which Ingores the ability of Oppssing Pokemons which is very Useful to OHKO Dragonite (Multiscale) , Lugia (Multiscale) , Sturdy Pokemons like Donphan and Unaware Clefable and Quagsire which are the greatest threat because Unaware ability ingores the Stat changes . Q. Do i need Epics IV'S on all pokes ? A. No u dont need epic IV'S , Just 20+ in their required stats . Like 20+def and HP for Pidgeot and 20+ Spdef and HP for Electrode , etc. Feel Free to ask any question in comments below . Hi, @Anurag2006. Note that we don't provide any services to move a player's pokemon to another account in another server. But, as digomenezes mentioned above, from the Dashboard you can switch servers. You can transfer your account every 30 days for free, for additional transfers it costs 100 coins. I hope this answered your question. Have a nice day. Kind regards, HappyMango.1 point

Personally, I would like the change to be reverted. But, if something is to change, I think a money sink would be the best solution. Some money sink ideas could be: 1. A better casino. Like the old casino, but with better rewards. The current casino doesn't seem worth it, but I haven't tried it so I can't really opine. 2. A secret/player base. This could be a spot to chill with friends. There could be decorations buyable with pokedollars to make each base unique. 3. Exchange pokedollars for PvE coins. This one could possibly have some bad repercussions but they could be worked around or just briefly tested and then removed if it doesn't work. 4. More cosmetics buyable with pokedollars. There are already lots of cosmetic shops in game, but better and/or more cosmetics would be nice. 5. An island with only rare spawns. This could be a sailor that you pay X amount of money to access the island. 6. An area with higher level pokemon than anywhere else. Similar to the previous one, you would pay X amount of money to access this area. Aside from the money sink, there are other options. Limiting content should never be one of them.1 point

I like the change. Now you can also invest more time in other PvE stuff. It would now just be nice if each boss would have their own personality - means own, useful, reward sets so that you can choose the boss depending of what you currently need. - few Bosses huge money but no Pokes as reward - few Bosses with more increased shiny chance - few Bosses with 2 Pokemon as reward instead of 1 - few Bosses with PvP items as reward (few with choice stuff, few with air balloons and shit) - Pokemon rewards depending on what "type" the boss is. (Misty gives water Pokemon, Brock Rock/Ground Pokemon) Its told that rewards could/will be adjusted/increased since there are only 10 per week. I think thats a nice change if its done good. Also, there are 45 Bosses. 10 per 7 days means 20 in 14 days. Lets assume 5 bosses are trash anyway, then you just have to increase the rewards with a factor 2 and you have the same stuff than before - even better since you have to invest less time.1 point
-
I don't understand the issue. If you don't want/don't have time to do bosses, you do not do it. Simple. Please remove limits.1 point
-
I already did the whole story, I got all the dex, I don't like pvp, what I had left to do was boss are + 49 bosses in the game and will you have to choose 10 a week? I do 10 in the day stop giving so much rc, ppup, decrease the amount Of money we are not to blame if the prizes are so generous detail I only have 1 account1 point

+1 this new bossing system is not good at all, it causes lots of players to have less motivation on doing bosses since all the boss plans are ruined now, hope really this new bossing system can be changed1 point

This was a really weird update imo. Like Allsmell said they would rather limit the accounts than limit the bosses. If it feels like a chore what's next we limit the rate of encountering Pokemon each day because farming feels like a chore and if you do it to much you could get rich? Very weird, I liked the system in pro itself people working hard getting got money and with the bosses as a pure pvp player you can get enough money to buy Pokemon for your team without farming. Let's do a calc, now you have 10 bosses each 7 days these 10 bosses so you have a plus of 1.2m with the rest of Bosses, dig spot's every day you get at average around 100k every 3 days, so you make around 1 m each month, Small Mushrooms 2 times a month around 70k =140k, Excavations rewards around 600k ( Nuggets etc. ], Winning the bug Contest every 2/3 time and getting 2nd the other times is around 600k. So together we have 1,2m,+ 1 m +140k +600k +600k, thats around 3,6m per month. But you do everything 40 minutes for excas every day, 20 minutes for bcc each day and 40 mimnutes for dig spots every 3 days. Only these things costs you around 40 hours per month and feels way more like doing chores than bosses. So we have 3.6m income if we do everything but in Pro you have to pay for some certain things let's calculate the costs here, 300k for Travel Pass, 675k for Excavations, around 150k for Pokeballs ( if we are farming ), Farming one repelable Pokemon (if we want a good one) = around 1k repels = 500k, Changing 10 moves by move tutor 150k. So if I have a Month doing everything and hardcore game for income and just do a meh month with only a bit of farming and 1 repel Pokemon, I pay 300+675+150+500+150 = 1,75m so around half my income is gone for normal stuff. Of course you get Pokemon by farming you can sell but it's hard to calc you can get lucky or you just get pokemon to sell for like 150k. there is another thing we have to look into and I don't even care about it myself but it's important for the Pro Economy. I would say around 2k people play active on silver and gold when only 1/8 of them do the bosses and kill 50 bosses every 12 days 10k Bosses will be killed, if we look at the 1/4k shiny chance there should be 2 new high tier shinies every boss round. I think that's a huge number itself. Don't get me wrong I don't mind deflation, but in this situation you do deflation for the money but inflation for the shinies. I mean Shiny reseller are partying right now but when someone is new in the Game and wants to collect shinies he needs one year of farming with the new economy to get 12 m for a high tier shiny. I don't think thats good. I read in almost every PVP Thread some sort of PVP Council would be nice, the same thing goes for PVE, we should have council for booth and discussing some things like this before this is added. If you fill them with veterans and hardcore grinder ( PVP or PVE) you could improve many aspects in the Game.1 point

Art stuff is really unrelated to making new regions, megas and pvp rework. Artists don't code. Artists make tiles for the regions yes, but in the end the whole artist team isn't needed to make a couple of tiles, others focus in doing cosmetics. Whenever a cosmetic that isn't for something special eg events they have really no reason to keep it shelved for half a year. Of course they are going to release it.1 point

Hello! My name is Johann14, and I play PRO for about one year and a half. I would like to suggest you guys to improve the PvP Coins earning system. I see that in PRO for every ranked battle won we get 1 pvp coin, and we get about 600-700 to be on the ladder in the next of the month. Well, for those that can not manage to keep on the ladder (first 25 of the server), I think this is very low. So, my suggestion is to add daily quests for PvP. For example: "fight 5 times on ranked system and earn 10 pvp coins"; "win 3 times on ranked system and earn 15 pvp coins". Also you guys could do events where for every battle you receive doble coins (2). This would motivate even more people to do PvP. I think this would be good because you would reward not only the best guys on server, but also those who try hard and are still learning pvp. Thanks for reading, Johann14.1 point
