  1. Afternoon all, Thor here. Ok, So, this is more of a general information thread, containing some good things, but also a major bad thing. - Regarding the Sevii remake: This unfortunately will have to be put on hold due to a number of factors but mainly because I initially overlooked a number of key factors. Gen 7 Pokemon are simply broken, not in the sense that they don't work (as I am sure some of you have seen floating around various images of alolan form Pokemon from various Admin and other stuff), but how they appear and are accessed on a code level. They don't give seen/caught data when they are obtained. They also return Null statements when searching for their data via our scripting system, which is the main reason behind this retraction. The region will still be being remapped in the background. Due to how PRO was initially envisioned, Gen 7 Pokemon were never part of the plan, which was why Mega forms were added to the Pokedex roster (many players have higher than 721 seen data, for example). Even simply adding Gen 7 Pokemon properly would break this, and every single NPC that uses Mega forms alongside it. This isn't to say that this won't be remedied in the future, it will, just not right now, and I personally would rather everyone know this from the get go. Sevii will therefore be re-opened as was, and gen 7 Pokemon will be posponed until such a time where we feel that things wouldn't break by adding them. Sevii remake will still come, just not until gen 7 Pokemon work. Ok, now that I have the bad news out of the way. Here is some good news. Vulcan island will be receiving a small expanded area where you will have a small second quest to complete, as well as some extra Pokemon to hunt for. This will be ready in the next week or so. Various other tweaks and improvements will be happening all around the PRO world also, so keep an eye out for those. Finally let me just take the time to appologise for jumping the gun on the Sevii project. This was my fault and my fault alone. None of the other staff are to blame for this. All annoyances should be directed towards me.

  3. Welcome to the Pokémon Revolution Online (PRO) viability rankings, where all usable Pokémon are ranked into tiers according to their usage and viability in our current metagame. The viability rankings categorizes PRO's most viable Pokémon into four categories: S, A, B, and C, with the most influential Pokémon residing in S rank. Each S rank Pokémon is a threat every team must prepare for and will almost always find its place on many successful teams. Within each tier the Pokemon are ordered alphabetically. There is an explanation of each Pokemon's rank in the spoiler below it. The purpose of this thread is to provide knowledge about the current metagame's greatest threats and Pokémon in it. This list is a great tool to use when building a team. The rankings will be discussed as a community and will be changed once a viable reason for that pokemon to rise or fall in rankings is given. S - These pokemon are threats in any set. They often define the meta and require opponents to be very thoughtful in teambuilding in order to not be swept/walled. A - These pokemon are huge threats and are very prevalent in the game. They often form the core of a team. B - Less prevalent, but usable in game. They are seen in the pvp game but not as much as S or A tier pokemon. These pokemon are manageable to play around. C - These pokemon are not often recommended, but suitable to fill holes in teams. They are rarely seen but not never seen. Things considered in ranking: How prevalent the Pokemon is in the metagame. How many "checks" there are to the Pokemon. How much of a threat the pokemon is in the current metagame. Please fill this form out if you want to discuss a Pokémon's ranking: Name: Current tier: Desired tier: Reason: The Pokémon listed below have been banned from ranked PvP due to their strength and oppressiveness in PRO's meta, and therefore are not factored into the viability rankings. Blaziken Dugtrio with Arena Trap S Rank A+ Rank A Rank A- Rank B+ Rank B Rank B- Rank C+ Rank Thank you for reading! Feel free to comment, I will monitor the thread and evaluate the general consensus and opinion. Contribution Tr3y, the original owner and creator of this thread, who has been kind enough to let me update it. Dakivid, TheAkalli, TheMinho, and Tr3y, all whom have greatly contributed to this list. 6. Right now, there is no ETA for when things will be coded as they are in Generation 7, but you can keep an eye out in the Ingame Update Log for when it is added.

  8. Hi there! Unfortunately, we're still working on updating movesets of most pokemon to Generation 7. With that said, you can find out at which level your pokemon learns a move in the Pokedex as shown below. For your case, Butterfree learns Gust at level 1 according to the Pokedex and cannot learn it in its previous evolutions, therefore in order for your Butterfree to learn Gust, you'll need to use a Move Relearner. There is one in Cerulean City and Saffron City, for Kanto. [spoiler=Butterfree Dex]

  12. @jackdarktemplar, as someone who played through the story a few times; the XP is just fine and there are enough hunting spots around the gyms that allow you to farm XP. As for E4 not giving out XP, this makes sense in the way that you can't abuse them. If they were to give out XP you could just lose over and over again and just farm easy XP.

  15. Hey @goldera, you can not put any Pokémon into the chat which isn´t currently in your team. Put your Gengar in your team and it should work. The additional visual bug you have can be slolved by a client restart (A simple relog wont help). Regards Xylos

  18. One of the best services on the server, very cheap and fast! If you want your pokemon to get on a high level than you should give it to Kuroshiba.

  19. Thank you for your opinion. The guild limit is currently 100 members and if every member donates 200k it's already enough. Please note, that this is something not every guild should have access to. It's a reward for hardworking guilds that are willing to invest the money. The hours requirement is not to create but to enter the island. This is to avoid abuse.

  20. Hello! I'm Cobrakai, and i'm doing this topic to aid people with their EV training! I want to share with you a list of decent EV training hotspots (some of them better then others but it's what i found best until now), with a list of the Pokémons showing up in each hotspot, their approximate levels, EV gain from battling each of those Pokémon and the daytime where those Pokémon appear. The rarity of listed Pokémon is estimated. This guide will be updated as soon as i get more information on other decent hotspots. EDIT: Hotspots are not all in Kanto anymore, decided to add a few from Johto region aswell because they are actually really good. Ways to Modify EV Gain: As there are no Horde encounters, we are gonna struggle bit more than at 6th gen games (X & Y). Pokérus also not available so, the struggle will be even bigger. Macho Brace IS available and working, making EV training 2x faster - doubles EV gain but halves holder's speed. As many people seemed to not know, Macho Brace can be obtained in the Johto region, Goldenrod City, by trading a Drowzee with an npc who gives a Machop helding the item. HealthPoints (HP) EV training hotspots: Johto - Ruins of Alph Entrance Kanto - Viridian Forest --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attack (Atk) EV training hotspots: Johto - Mt.Mortar Johto - Dark Cave (North) Kanto - Pokémon Tower (Lavender) Kanto - Mt.Moon Kanto - Route 11 Kanto - Route 12 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Defense (Def) EV training hotspots: Kanto - Viridian Forest --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Speed (SPD) EV training hotspots: Johto - Dragons Den Kanto - Diglett Cave --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Attack (Sp.Atk) EV training hotspots: Kanto - Route 5 Kanto - Route 6 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Defense (Sp.Def) EV training hotspots: Attention: To be honest, Sp. Def is so easy to train, u can find Tentacool almost everywhere (through rod or surfing, doesn't matter which method). I'm just listing the locations where it seemed i found a high ammount of Tentacruel for a faster train (maybe i was just lucky finding many Tentacruel in these zones, maybe it's just my impression). Kanto - Route 19 & 20 Hope this topic can help a lot of people. Would also like to ask for PRO's community to help improving this topic, as i think every1 wants to train their Pokémons EV with an always higher and improving efficiency. Cobrakai
