It’s always disappointing seeing posts like this. All you’re telling us is you don’t pay attention or don’t appreciate what is added/updated. Claiming there’s been 0 improvements in 6 years is such a slap in the face to the entire Staff team and their efforts. Luckily, PRO is full of players that do appreciate everything that’s been added and you’re in a tiny minority, that unfortunately is loud. I can name many improvements to the game in the last 6 years, such as: - Mega Pokemon (2020) - Z-Crystals/Mono-Type Tournament (2023) - Xmas Dungeon - Lavender Dungeon (2023) - Victini Dungeon - Pinkan Dungeon (2024) - Hoopa Dungeon (2024) - PvP Chests (2025) - Updates to existing features like Solaceon (2025), Celadon (2024), Sinnoh Underground (2025), Mirage Island (2022), among other smaller ones. - Trainer rework for every region (2023) - Gym Leader & Elite Four rework (2022) - Fishing Contest & Multi Bug Catching Contest (2023) - Trainers Tower (2023) - Many new moves, such as Trailblaze, Flip Turn, etc. - Many new Pokémon added, such as Blacephalon, Growlithe-Hisui, and Kleavor These are all the rather big content additions, not to mention all the smaller additions as well as the balance changes. Of course there are also all the maps, forms, mounts, cosmetics, chromas, and the scripting plus testing that comes with adding content. Just because you don’t see the changes or they don’t affect your experience, doesn’t mean work isn’t being done and even those who do appreciate won’t know what is being done in the background. I get there’s frustration and I would like more content as well, but let’s not discredit all the time and effort that’s being put in by both the Content and Moderation team. Remember that all Staff are volunteers who use their personal free time to dedicate towards a free game. Let’s be appreciative of what we have.

Absolutely nonsensical post. I can understand the frustration that comes up when there haven’t been updates for a while, but I’ve repeatedly provided updates explaining the longer wait time and also posted an extensive upcoming changelog for the next release, so you are not left in the dark without information. The text fix in the guild tab you mentioned is also part of the changelog. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/3146-update-logs/page/25/#comment-1602280 On top of that, I posted multiple status updates, expanded the changelog, and even shared videos of the box rework, the actual reason for the longer wait. I think we did a lot to keep you all properly informed. And as I already said many times before, the forms have no impact on the release. Artists work on them separately from the rest of the release, and we should be grateful that they dedicate so much of their time to giving us such a wide range of high-quality forms. That should never be seen as a point of criticism in that context.

The worst year he said As PvP, ladder got higher and motivated people to get top 25 all the season for the chest/top 25 at the end of season for a chroma+pvp chest+PvP coins. As a PvE side, there is a lot of thing that raise boss battle (few pokemon that sell for high price like Ralts/Alomomola/Rotom etc...) Rework of a lot of daillies like celadon/Solaceon. Forms is something you can dislike or enjoy but if you dont like forms, just ignore them, not like they give a advantage in PvP/PvE. I used to be a PvP player 12/12 months but I was happy for Hunters that they get something to hunt outside of shinies. I played every MMO and outside of forms, there is no points in playing others cuz I dislike shiny hunting as a whole.

We've been a long time without a relevant update to the game, without any truly significant additions to the game's health. I'm going to list some points and want to see if you agree with me or what you think is happening. - They implemented Gen 9 with an incomplete Gen 7. - There's a lack of moves for Pokémon, both Gen 7 and Gen 9. - Why can't we evolve Pokémon into their regional forms? (It could be a quick event like WQ or OTB so we can capture or evolve our Pokémon into their regional forms.) - Many items are missing, as well as more detailed descriptions of some. - They promise and announce a lot, like a Mudkip skin today. But as we've seen in the last few announcements, the only thing that actually arrived was Summer Island (very late, and I hope it doesn't interfere with the upcoming events). - MS (Membership) is simply a very average item, something I can occasionally go without for a long time, since there aren't enough or even decent benefits for it. Honestly, I feel like I'm being left behind. The game has a lot of potential, but the details need improvement. Player retention is horrible... Enough with the "fake" announcements, with things that will be released in a year... two years... or never even seen... like the SW Forms that were announced, and there wasn't even a SW event... Anyway, just a report from a relatively active player in the game.

Previously you said that half of the people playing this game are from Brazil and tbh i cannot control my laugh idk where you got this information or its your own point and you also said that this game should have a translated version to Brazil. As a coder myself you just need to know that it takes several months or even years to translate every dialogue in this game its easy to say things but you never know how hard it is to implement it in this game.

If something is arrogant and disrespectful, it is you zealously claiming how this is the "game's worst year by far", as it is some sort of undeniable truth. I will tell you something; I, as mainly a PvPer, left the game on the beginning of January 2022. I came back this year in February when the new big PvP reward system was added to the game. Many inactive players have followed up and we got one of the best years in PvP this game has ever had. Plenty of new rewards, more incentive for inactive players to return, as well as for casual PvPers or PvErs to start playing PvP more frequently. More moves, mechanics and Pokemon added to the game. Overall the amount of played PvP matches has at least doubled. Do I need to say anything more about this? On the other hand, I can agree with you about the wrong priorities the staff team sometimes has and I would like to add how I really dislike their inability (or unwillingness) to adapt or be more flexible regarding some things. To be more specific, something like adding spawns for all Gen 7 Pokemon to the game after knowing that Astrella, for which those spawns were originally intended, won't hit the surface for who knows how many more years (and we have already been waiting for 8). An another example would be what you already brought up; the miss out on the Summer event this year because of a Box rework. If it was known that the Box rework won't happen in time, why didn't they just go live through with the Summer event and its new event forms? Then again, there are some factors I am unaware of, such as maybe that they tied up the game's events directly to the Box update rework, so if they would do something like this, it would eventually just make them spend even more unnecessary time on it. I don't know really. If that isn't the case, I honestly can't see any other good reason for it. Anyway, keep in mind that this is a fanmade game, without any employees being paid up for their work. As such, as frustrating as it sometimes is, it is inevitable that there will be a lot of delays on future content

Im going to give my point of view from a player that left on 2020. When i came back i felt like lost since i didnt even know about all the new stuff, now that im getting more used to and i keep finding new pokemons or moves or things like dungeons i get more and more excited, i might understand for a player that plays EVERYDAY for several hours that maybe you dont get the excitment you used to get before, but that happens with all, not only PRO, abusing a game always makes this. So my conclusion would be that theres doing a lot of things and trying, you can think is wrong or right, buy they're trying and thats what we should look at not at the other things they dont, this year summer event got delayed a bit, i know for sure they will try to reward or make it better for the next upcoming event but you dont need to be on a bad mentality of what is comming or what didnt come. I am not reading your whole essay but just want to convey something from my point of view.PRO is a fanmade game and the staffs working here does not get paid and besides they have work in real life too.If something is not implemented doesn't mean it never be released.I saw you conveying hateful messages 2-3 years ago so if you hate this game so nuch why not leave it?

What's the issue with that? PRO is PRO, there's no correct way to update or release content into the game. Viewing it from a non-competitive standpoint, if they released Chien-Pao tomorrow, would that be wrong? Why is there a need to rush things and release them all? Isn't that worse for what you said the player retention was? Besides PRO is its own game. Yeah sure I think form teases can be toned down a bit, but does it really affect you that much? Wally's probably just as excited as we are, or at least the people who like forms, to release new ones and he might just want to show them off. Look at it differently, instead of assuming his form posts are update posts, think of them as trailers, does that make sense? I don't understand your point here. Are you saying more things should be Membership exclusive? Membership should give more bonuses? Is it not a bad thing to give MS more bonuses to the point that everyone needs it? That's on them. There will always be something to make content out of. Trust me.

I don’t understand why they tease new forms. Last 2 teases (Star Wars / summer ) never came out. It’s just really been a mood killer 2x in a row. I know a lot of people were waiting, saving money and repels ect too. (edit; and I mean that In no disrespect. I know everybody has been busy on the game updates. And I love the game it is great. I just personally think teasing forms to create event hype then not dropping the forms 2x was bad, and supposedly now teasing a new Halloween mudkip )

It’s a small team doing the best they can with the time they have. I’m sure if they could instantly make constant updates they would but clearly that’s not feasible. Nor should it be expected to be done. They have added many new fun things we didn’t have before like mentioned above. And have more to bring in the future. It can’t happen instantly. Coding takes time and testing as well. People have been asking for a box update for a long time, they are working on making it perfect for us and people find a new reason to complain before they can even finish working on the previous complaint. Enjoy the game for what it is. Simple as that

It’s been 7 years. 7 years of a long journey together, challenges, laughter, and growth. I joined the Staff when I was 22 and now I am almost 30 in a few months What began as a simple step into a community I admired quickly became one of the longest and most meaningful journeys of my life. For 1/4 of my life, PRO has been a community, a family, and a place where I’ve spent 20.000+ hours alongside you all as someone whose job was to protect the integrity of the game and ensure everyone could enjoy it fairly. MY ROLE IN PRO As a Moderation Staff and later Admin, my role wasn’t always the most glamorous and visible to players. I didn’t design new regions or events. Instead, I worked behind the scenes, reviewing reports, investigating rule-violations, handing out punishments when necessary, and sometimes having the tough conversations nobody likes to have (). It wasn’t always easy, and it certainly wasn’t always fun or rewarded, but it was very important for me… because keeping PRO fair and safe meant protecting the adventure you all love and protecting the community in general, which is the reason I joined the Staff Team. I know that sometimes my role put me in situations where I had to make hard calls. I would be lying if I said I’ve always done everything right. Not every decision I made was perfect, and I’m sure there were moments where I did wrong (I mean, in 7 years of work it would be impossible to make 0 mistakes) or where I could have done better. There were decisions I wish I had handled differently. However, all of my actions were motivated by wanting the best for both the game and its community, and that never changed. WHY AM I LEAVING? The truth is, my journey here is ending not because I’ve stopped caring, but because my mental and physical health has reached a point where I cannot give the game, the community, or the staff team the dedication they deserve. I’ve always believed the players deserve my very best, and if I can’t provide that, continuing would feel like letting you all down and kind of disrespecting you. As some player know, my life has never been a simple one. I was born with more health problems than I could count, and as the years passed, they only grew heavier. Surgeries, endless hospital stays just to survive. Surviving was never a given, but something I had to fight for, over and over like an endless battle. Every time I thought I had won, something new emerged to destroy me. Last year and the first half of this one I fought through a severe infection that nearly destroyed a lot of my organs and almost took my life. I spent months in the hospital, clinging to hope. Once I beat the infection, I thought I had fixed everything only for life to strike again. Without warning, recently I suddenly lost the sight in one eye completely and am blind, and half the vision in the other due to another health issue. Due to all of this, I had a complete mental breakdown because I spent a whole life in this situation over and over. The tears/crying wouldn’t stop, the desperation wouldn't stop and it's been a continuous "why me?" and then situation is getting worse and worse and I have almost reached the bottom of the barrel and cannot see the light anymore. Given this, I’ve decided to step back, focus on recovery, and fight for myself for once. I’ve already taken steps to get the help I need, and I hold on to hope that better days will come. TO ALL OF YOU PLAYERS To every player I’ve met along the way, regardless if we spoke 1 or 100 times, thank you. Thank you to everyone who made my years here worthwhile and fun, to the players who respected the rules or reformed themselves after violating them, to those who gave constructive feedback, to those who showed kindness in chat, and even to those who challenged me to do better. You all played a part in my time here. Please, keep this community strong. Be patient with the Staff Members, they’re not perfect, but their heart is in the right place and they’re doing a tough job for the good of everyone as they want the best for PRO and its community. Treat each other with respect and remember that behind each username there is a person with feeling and emotions.
