I believe it would be most appropriate for a UU season to be much shorter than a month; it would be more like a PvP event, somewhere between an hour and an extended 4 day weekend. This would require interrupting the current season, and resuming it afterwards. I assume some players will simply skip UU seasons, or play minimally per guild requirements. And would otherwise leave the game for a month. On the other hand having a shorter window of time promotes a more vibrant ranked queue.

I very much like this, especially in that it rewards participation for beginners; starting PvP from story is brutal and unrewarding. Also, please don’t require going through a Ramona-like NPC. As it is, it’s a pain: it’s too easy to forget to talk to her at the start of the season, or to get the rewards from her.

Relatedly, just showing the opponent’s guild would be a nice quality of life improvement, and would help with the same issue. I find I always look it up through reborn.

At some point between the post and now, the client has indeed been updated, and my issue is gone. Thanks to the dev team for doing so.

Hi, The linux client has been updated at the beginning of the week, but it seems a development build of the halloween version has been uploaded instead of the christmas version. I tried all three hosts following the link on the download page (https://pokemonrevolution.net/download) and they are the same archive. I hope this is not a duplicate, but I didn't see a post about this. Thank you.

Can someone clarify the rule regard alternative accounts on ranked PvP: Is that 2 accounts across both servers, or 2 accounts on each? Is it allowed to play ranked PvP with PlayerA on silver, PlayerB on silver, PlayerA on gold, and PlayerB on gold? Thanks

I checked : 4 ha in 50 consecutive wild encounters. With black medallion activated of course. EDIT: As requested, I made a video showing this with 5/75 ha pokes and sent it to staff as a report.

If we're going to stay with a fixed timer per round, let's keep it high enough for all the reasons Xylos outlined. It should be shortened only if something like Teerav explained can be implemented. I've only had a problem with someone time stalling once, and that was after a server reboot was anounced. I realize that this relies on being able to report abuses, which has be difficult sometimes. If I can add something to the wish list: could you let us not cancel the chosen action, but somehow repick? If the opponent hasn't made their move, and we change our mind, it would be nice to be able to change the play.

Same thing happened to me too, and to many other players. I know of at least one who took a screenshot of his contribution. As per the latest post in the discord’s #announcements channel, it will be looked into by the appropriate staff member in due course. Last time the world quest had an error something was done to fix it as best possible. After the quest, players who had participated and those who had not had different behaviors, so the information is stored somehow. I’m sure staff will be able to do something.

I'm not sure Gamefreak made all the right calls, but if PRO is going to be "Pokémon", we should strive to look like the original games. While having more possibilites may be fun, and while the decisions that led to having things be the way there are in Pokémon may have been misguided, allowing combinations that are impossible in the main series games because "why not" tends to create confusion and surprise, not something we want. Deviations from this baseline, if they are found to be necessary because PRO hasn't coded everything yet, should be rare, clearly labeled, and preferably temporary.

Hi, I did a run of nearly all bosses on Monday, but now, 4 days later, they appear ready to battle again. I was coming to collect (and sync) a 3rd time reward, when I realized the boss (Shamac) was ready to battle even though it hasn't been 12 days yet. I was misremembering, and it was actually george who had a reward ready; and he was also wanting to fight. I checked with a two other bosses in Kanto, and they both seemed ready to battle. I did not actually battle any of the bosses. I'm positive I didn't forget them all; in fact I was going to see the boss because I remembered meaning to go back with a sync. I'm not sure what caused this. I don't think I've done anything special to trigger this. To be abundantly clear: this has nothing to do with the cooldown checkers, which are also goofed up at the moment. I actually went up to the bosses and interacted with them. Should I do anything now?
