  1. after some research, about 2017 is when mewtwo showed up, so yea, pretty long i mean from the perspective of a player, it's annoying content wise, it's free loot. yea they're really easy to kill, you just click destiny bond once and be done with it, but still, rewards are rewards, and considering the simplicity of it, not bad ones. (especially nowadays considering you get rare candies from those) I mean hey, to be fair, overall, i don't mind if we get mewtwo or not, just for me, it's like you said, too op. yea sure completing the pokedex and whatnot and we already have megas, etc etc, but mewtwo was basically originaly designed to be the most powerful pokemon in existence, then they made arceus, but still. I think personally it would take away the aspect of the game that makes it interesting. yea we already have some OP legends in the game, but mewtwo just beats all of this. He would just shift the entire force of the game away from any other PvE pokemon, as we know he won't be allowed in PvP. And also, i don't fully remember what the deal with the minibosses was, i'm just trying to remember what was said however much time ago it was
  2. you misunderstood what i said, i didn't say that it's now possible since we have mega pokemon, pokes like lugia and mewtwo probably won't be allowed in pvp anyways, what i'm saying is that those pokemon are already in the game, in form of miniboss npc's, if it was hard to switch them up to be made catchable, then how much would that change now. just because mega pokemon are in the game, doesn't change the lines of code for other things
  3. I believe minibosses being catchable such as mewtwo, was already addressed beforehand, i don't recall where exactly, might've just been in the discord, but as i recall it was just said that it wouldn't be happening for whatever reason. I like the idea of it though, including some of the movie locations into the game, i just don't think it would end up being for mewtwo.

    Draw request

Endless battle clause is a thing on showdown, as seen in the pvp rules, it's not a thing here. so to put it bluntly, yes you are wrong. which means long battles are perfectly fine, as we don't have a turn limit. pp stall/switch stalling is a thing, but in many situations there is an end goal to it, which deters the point of the stall, and rather just says it's the game plan. and it also requires video evidence, which a lot of players won't bother to take. the reason draw is bad is because most players won't accept a draw unless forced to do so. that's why, unless you come across a guildmate, or a friend in pvp, most, if not all, won't draw. there's no point for them, rating is rating, and you want the most of it. And i mean yea, not removing draw is perfectly fine as well, it would just remain less used anyways, how would it make a salty player less salty, it would make them more mad if anything, if it comes down to rng, the guy feels cheated out of a win, yea he'd send a draw request, then what, it gets denied, why, because the other guy wants rating. as a result, he gets more upset. and yea as i said it's mostly common in stall vs stall matchups, where neither player is interested enough to play out the million turn game.

    Draw request

Clicking no isn't really the solution, if you're in an endless switch stall, with neither party attacking, as was seen recently by the 6 or 7 hour pvp match that was streamed in pro discord, and my guild discord. The deciding factor of that game, was the connection to the server of the other player. Neither seemed like they wanted to draw, nor surrender, so in an endless match like that, where neither party is attacking, what's the point of having the game continue, to the point that it's decided based on who's internet goes first. Yes this is still mostly seen by stall vs stall matchups, but just because people hate on stall, doesn't mean that stall players should be ridiculed the same way. For me, +1 to removing draw, and replacing with a limit, and the guildmate/friend clause. Personally, i have also experienced a few times where players in an inevitable loss situation, will try to prompt me into a draw, so that they don't loose rating. Yes again you can click no, however it just demonstrates poor sportsmanship in the moment. The player doesn't want to honor the fact that you beat them, feels cheated, etc. and wants not to lose rating.
  6. yea but making them shiny in the first place takes away from the uniqueness of staff pokemon, which is why i think it's a bad idea.
  7. Staff get rewarded with a staff pokemon after 6 months of staff work, which isn't easy. and this poke can be basically any poke, with perfect ivs and it can be shiny, some staff choose to have their poke non shiny, just so it's not perceived as a staff poke
  8. I'm confused at what you want on the first one, you want shiny legendaries handed out by an npc? Shiny legends are unique to staff, it's what they get as a thank you gesture for helping the game. The wings i don't mind, yes they were free in the past, but that past, is a long time ago, which means that only old players have them, so the wings being purchasable in the first place is something special. Quests are released whenever they're finished Mega mounts are all planned on being released, it's just a matter of time on when. New mounts, sure why not
  9. Let's please not start this discussion again, it gets overwhelming and there's honestly no point. I know some staff chose to have their pokes not shiny, just so that players can't start whining at them in game, because they don't see the shininess, so can't tell it's a staff poke. The answers you're looking for are clarified here, by an admin and a game master. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/152137-staff-rewards-in-pvp-ranked/page/8/

    Loki boss

i mean like the idea, but i figure you should just know, Thor boss is actually named after a former staff, who's name was thor, the boss wasn't just made out of the MCU
  11. fly would just remove the point of the transport stations entirely, as i said, fly would make it incredibly easy, you could just travel anywhere without consequence and if you make a mistake, just go back, nothing to it. Overall, you can go across map instantaneously, there wouldn't be anything that would make travelling easier after this. It just points out who wants to have the easiest methods handed to them, rather than the ones who accept the tasks given
  12. -1 This makes bossing incredibly easy, like broken OP reborn is known to be messed up, so right now your option for cooldowns is using the boss checkers in game
  13. -1 it would put travel on such an easy level there would be no point in having anything else to travel with. even if it were to cost money. there are already fast ways to travel towards many different places, so i don't really know what "long process of travelling" you're talking about. if you go hunting, you run to get there, you escape rope to get back. and you use the pokecenter transports to move places, what's long about this, that would be simplified with fly?
  14. -1 This is basically the same as using 5 sharpedos, you're immune to most hits, while being able to defeat most bosses with only a few setbacks on certain ones, which can easily be taken care of by a sharpedo itself. Bosses are already ridiculously easy with just using protect + disable with banette, adding this just makes it easier than it already is to be honest. Hard bosses are meant to be hard, and yea 400 evs in every stat makes them hard to kill, but their technique is still easy to beat. However i think if we get an NPC update as to where they don't use moves that have been disabled, this will change.
  15. yea i agree with Pop on this one with the -1. just remembering to not be offline. Sometimes people will go offline, or turn their PMs off, to avoid getting random PMs from people begging to trade, or just being an overall annoyance, while they still would like to talk in chat.
  16. Hello there, Greninja actually can learn the move Dark Pulse, however not from move tutor, like you are trying in Lavaridge. You have to go to Ecruteak City, and find the TM tutor there, he will teach Greninja the move for 15 000$. Battle bond does not affect any moves that Greninja can learn. - G3n3r4l
  17. effects seem cool so +1 -1 to the NPC though, you have to catch it in that pokeball for it to be thrown out like that, changing it to look cool just seems like a scam. It's like catching a legendary in a master ball, then change it to a pokeball just to seem like you got really lucky with RNG. or make it into one of custom balls that are in the game, to show it off more. without actually doing the work to get those balls.
  18. yea you really don't speak for everyone, I enjoy pvp, the 10 minute wait time as you said, is to prevent people from boosting, which is why there's also a cooldown on the surrender command. If you disconnect mid game due to internet, just go do something else for 10 minutes, talk to people, read a book, there are many other things to do. Reconnecting to games is something that is already on the To-Do list for the devs, it's just a matter of time before it's done.
  19. I'm like 99% sure that means you lost the battle, to get another chance at catching it you'll have to defeat Nikola boss in Trainers Valley
  20. is standard mathematics not already a solid basis of reason and logic, that's all i'm adding. A 50% chance is a 50% chance, it does not mean you hit that chance 50% of the time, it just means that you have the same chance to hit and miss. a 70% chance means you have a 70% chance to hit it, still though, that does not mean you hit it 70% of the time.
  21. I mean mate, i hit 8/8 leaf storms one game, next one i missed half. It's pure chances, like, it's given a percentage chance, but that percentage isn't based off consecutive battle turns. It's a one off calc, you use it once to get one chance, the next use is a completely new chance. How do you propose to rework a success rate that is not defined by PRO staff, but rather the original games.
  22. I think one main thing is that a lot of players also don't concern themselves with staff duties, and when Walross is the only person making the announcements, a lot of people will believe that devs do all the work, while the other staff don't do much. That being said i think something like the Dev's To-Do list could be a nice thing for all the staff to have, however i think this also takes away from some of the surprises to be added. I think a change needed to the Suggestions page, would be to include a list of the previously denied suggestions, rather than simply saying "Do not suggest something that has been denied in the past". For example, recently there have been quite a few of the "Nature reroll for non legendaries" suggestions, and while they've all been denied, a list like that could've simply prevented them from being made. Yes it lists some, just not all. also on a sidenote, your signature is broken
  23. Just gonna say, S tier means that the pokes can be played on basically any team with little to no thought given, other than about the set to be played. In this case there is only one because Clefable is the only pokemon that actually can be added to any team, because it can play so many roles. Weavile however, plays one, fast physical attack. If a team already has one of these, or a scarfer, or just something with like dragon dance, it has less use for weavile, and some teams just straight up wouldn't want weavile in the team whatsoever. You also didn't mention that weavile being a glass cannon takes a lot of damage from almost every priority move, and additionally takes the bad 25% from stealth rocks. Considering it doesn't really like staying in against some of the common defensive pokemon, who could simply do quite a bit of damage to it, and overall other scarf pokemon as you said, Weavile is a much weaker pokemon than you portrayed it to be.
  24. Clef runs a total of 2 common sets, and you can tell which set he's playing as soon as he switches in with hazards up. If it's magic guard, he takes no damage, if it's unaware, he takes damage. Simple as that. When it comes to the sets themselves, they basically all run the same move which makes it very easy to play around
