Good Day @Neostategami As @Eetaachee has stated, the shiny option from the Boss NPC rewards does not guarantee that the Pokemon is shiny. To be specific, the standard shiny rate is 1/8192 on a standard encounter. When you beat a Boss NPC three times you are given two options, with one of those being shiny. Specifically, this option reduces the shiny rate from 1/8192 to 1/4096. I hope this clears up any confusion you may have had. I will now be locking this thread. Good Day @Rickman108 The next place to check would be his location on Route 9. In this location, he should inform you that a Mankey has stolen his hat and that you need to find it from a wild one. You can use a Pokemon with the frisk ability or covet / thief move to assist identify if the Mankey has the item. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Bitterblade

If you are still having issues with this, Bill saying that he has given you a ticket this is not an actual item that will be in your bag. I apologize for the confusion. Your next steps from here would be to beat Misty, the Cerulean City gym leader (if you have not already) and proceed South through Route 5 and Route 6 towards Vermillion. When you get to Vermilion, you will be able to enter the S.S. Anne via the dock in the South-West of the city. With that being said, I will be locking this thread. Before battling Vlad, you need to have battled the NPC "Mummy Phase". While we sort this out, you can find mroe information on this quest here. Good Day @Ynek27 I apologize for the confusion. Are you experiencing this issue after trying to board the S.S. Anne in Vermilion or was this through noticing you did not have the ticket in your inventory? I ask because the ticket to the S.S. Anne is not an item you receive in your inventory. If you have assisted Bill and gotten his book from under his pillow then you have done what is required to gain access to the S.S. Anne. The next steps would be to follow Route 5 and Route 6 down towards Vermilion where you can then board the S.S. Anne via the dock. There was recently a change with the starters which had an effect on this quest and for that we apologize. Could you go back to Viridian Forest and you should be able to talk to Ash there. Good Day @Spa8as21 The next thing you will need to do is follow the kid into the forest. This portion of the quest needs to be done at night time. Once you go into the forest, you will keep following the kid until a Phantump comes out of a tree. You will then interact with the tree to follow. Good Day @Sanda08 I apologize for the delayed response. The information provided by @Mysticwind is correct. To recap, If you have yet to be able to get the orbs you can find them in the following possible locations: Adamant Orb Spot 1 and 2 are in the Eterna Forest Cave (accessed from Route 207 using Rock Climb). Sport 3 is in Old Chateau 2F in the fifth room. Lustrous Orb Wayward Cave on Route 206 (You will need Rock Smash and Flash) If you have acquired the orbs at this point I can assist with the next steps in the quest.
