  4. Bug: I wanted to heal my pokemons after the butch/cassidy match (expecting giovanni to come) and used an excape rope by accident. After that jessie and james block u out and u cant finish the quest.
  5. I havent smashed a fossil since i reached the 4800 discoveries without ms I have over 7500 discoveries and I have MS activated almost all the time, never smashed one. My MS ran out a few days ago and I didn't realize it till I smashed a fossil. Activated it again, didn't smash a single one. ok. i will watch this

  7. Since the update at the end of january the old topic link wasn't updated by sharlank. I want to thank Sharlank for the work done and update his guide from now on. For now this guide is under construction. Feel free to share your information and help to improve this guide. [goto=1]1. REQUIREMENTS[/goto] [goto=2]2. EXCAVATION SITES AND RELATIVE SPAWNS[/anchor] Haunted Site / Mineral Site / Feral Site / Glacial Site / Natural Site / Historical Site [anchor=21]2.1 GENERAL INFORMATION[/anchor] There are different tiers of expertise in archaeology. The tier depends on the discoveries you have made. You get "discovery points" by smashing the rocks inside each site. With every tier you get access to other pokemons/items. You can verify your tier by Gingery Jones in Glacial Site. If you encounter a spawn you're not "expert" enough to get, the pokémon will flee or the item gets destroyed. If u are in range of the neccessary number of discoveries there is a chance that a pokemon wont flee (i found 3 shroomish with around 1k discoveries on my secondary account. The first and third fled but i was able to catch the second one) In every site you can find items: - fresh water / escape rope / tiny mushroom / ultra ball / rare candy - All Kanto / Hoenn / Kalos fossils after 4800 discoveries but they can still break without ms [anchor=22]2.2 SHINY ROCKS[/anchor] There is 1 shiny rock in every site, you need the item "pickaxe" (75c in the shop) to find something there. 8. You do realise that you are condradicting yourself, right? You say that a weekly transit pass for ingame money ruins the economy. But you like the idea of a transit pass for cash? How does a cash transit pass not ruin the economy a hundred times more than one purchased for ingame money? I really don't understand your logic. selfish/mean/toxic people do selfish/mean/toxic things. I play this game for more than a year. Just think how much money i would have saved. I would be the richest person on the server right now. I could have bought all the OP pokemons of the red server because they never cost more than 10mio and were even cheaper one year ago. Additionally think about all the hours of play time it would have safed me just by spamming speed travel. I could have grinded even more. And let's be honest the 100k/week isnt affecting me as a rich player anyway. So why even pay it? And it helps the poor players even more because 100k/week is still alot of money for them. And if u disagree u are a selfish rich player who doesnt care about the poor once and u want to keep them down. so this solution isnt affecting rich player and their profit at all but it's a great help for the poor players. Therefore i have to give it :y: :y: . One for me and one for the poor players. I cant even think why some1 would rate this idea in any other way. And who cares about inflation anyways. You have more money so u can pay higher prices. Isnt that simple? Is it my fault that some dumbasses are below the inflation rate? It's the same in real life. If u dont earn enough money to pay taxes, pay bills and raise children just work more. Work 80 hours per week instead of 40 and you doubled your income. That's basic math. I learned that in primary school.
  9. Inflation in mmo's has the same effects as in every society. Those on top arent affected directly because they earn enough/have enough savings to compansate these effects. The bottom once are affected directly because they simply cant do that. In case of PRO inflation affects everyone that isnt investing $/€ or cant/hasnt invest/ed alot of time (casual/new players). Yes u may have more money but if the amount of money isnt equal or above the inflationrate u are losing money. That means u have more money but u can buy less on the open market for it. Wrong! (Yes, this sounds like Trump) Rich players are rich for a reason ($$$ or grinding/time spent or both). And most of the stuff done helps "rich" players more than it helps casual players. And i actually said i will use it if i know it will save me money in the next 7 days. You may think that this change helps casual players but those investing more time benefit more from it because they will use speed travelling more often (look at the calculation). Another example are dig spots or poke stops. You think a casual player has a basic income from them, correct. But basic (=stable) income means losing money in an inflated system. And that's important to know for a casual. If u focus on digging and pokestops as a casual u are losing money (and fall even further behind compared to the rest)! A solution that would help casual players way more would have been you have x speed travels per week for free and only pay the price if u need more than that. ... TLDR: Weekly ticket will help for inflation and will generally help people travelling around such as daycares and sellers. (Im 100% sure u wanted to say "against inflation" given the whole context) so compared to how it was before it wont, because those who dont spent enough money to make profit wont buy it (therefore the same money is destroyed) and everyone else saves money -> more money = inflation All Prehax or I did was pointing out the change (and other stuff) will force inflation which hurts casuals/new players. So please if u (as the staff) arent focusing on fighting inflation or have other ways to deal with it (but u dont have them right now!) or have other goals for the game just say so. Im fine with it because at "worst" i stop playing PRO. But dont try to spread "alternative facts". TBH Im done with the discussion if pointing out a problem to improve things makes me the bad/mean person, who is "only interested in creating a toxic atmosphere and is not appreciating anything". I always thought that objectivly criticising stuff is fundamental to the enlightened western world but i guess im wrong. Just maxing the own profit is the correct thing to do! #crazy people #crazy world
  10. criticism isnt about attacking a person or not respecting the effort u invest into the game, it's about sharing concerns and therefore improving an idea/situation because we (as players) care about the game. So if Prehax (or like i did in other topics) share concerns about the influence of an idea/change to the economy it's because one of the major downfalls to mmos is an "out-of-hand" economy. And what's happening to your effort if the game fails because of that? On the transit pass: - If i do excavation everyday i travel from kanto->hoenn and back and use teleport 2 times (lilicove <->Mauville) = 15k/day --> 105k/week - If i do digging twice a week i travel from kanto -> johto and back, the train 1x in kanto (end point fuchsia -> saffron), and 2x in johto (azalea->mahagony & cherrygrove->goldenrod) = 17,5k -> 35k/week - battling bosses: 5k to love island, 15k for traveling through the regions (Kanto->Hoenn->Jotho->Kanto), 5k teleport in hoenn (lilycove<->Mauville), 5k in Kanto (cinnabar, fuchsia->vermillion) = 30k -> 15k/week (without ms) => 155k/week not counting the "impulsive" use of speed traveling. so i would definitly stay in a win zone if i know i will do these things during the week. If i play/do less it's a question about how much times can i safe with the all-inclusive speed travelling (time=money, which is an extra income for those who buy it anyways). Overall the more u play the more u benefit from this change. So new money sinks have been announced with sinnoh. Till than this change will increase the money count of each server.
  11. hmmm prolly mixed it up with the effect of circle throw. thanks for enlighten me
  12. a skarmory just roared out my Gengar (roar as normal attack shouldnt work against ghost pokemon)
  13. ditto. If u dont want the 45 min penalty u can contact the opponent and let him win the battle

    2 pokes sleep

The problem in PRO is that nc doesnt cure when switching out a pokemon as it should.
  15. and how u wanna proof u/your opponent didnt used it more than 3 times without making a video?
  16. the advantage is u will lose like 5 points or less (u cant drop below 0) but u can win 20+ points if u beat some high ranked players. And u will learn more by battling high ranked players.
  17. the first layer poisons (losing 1/16th of the max HP) and a second layer badly poisons. A badly poisoned pokemon will lose 1/16th of max HP in the first turn and the dmg will increase by 1/16 per turn (1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, ...). So u dont see a big difference in the first few turns. afterwards it gets more significant. And the second layer wont change the status to badly poisoned once a pokemon is poisoned link bulbapedia i cant tell u if the % are correct, but the dmg badly poisoned pokemons receive per turn is increasing
  18. it should never absorb toxic spikes because of levitate. Same goes for Weezing. But they do randomly.
  19. I had 2590 discoveries when i startet. Did all the sites at night (22:00 - 2:00). No MS Haunted site: Yamask, Gastly, Misdreavus Mineral Site: Nosepass, Onix, Aron Glacial Site: Spheal, Wailmer, Clauncher (fled = Bergmite, tympole) Feral Site: Zangoose, Cubone (fled = Absol [3k+], Mawile [3k+]) Historical Site: Makuhita, Tyrogue (fled = Riolu) Natural Site: Cacnea, Nincada, Shroomish (fled = ferroseed)
  20. even tho shane said he fixed levitate and toxic spikes "- Poison types that have levitate can no longer absorb toxic spikes." its still not working as intended
  21. Switching-in thoose pokémons isn't going to do much for you anyways ,while ttar is nowhere an answer to it w/o pursuit , it's been years on pro slowbro's passivity is handled with ease(when at the same time it's asking for a freekill if the oponnent got goth+tflamme) , while breaking nite's scales is nowhere a good idea unless it's a tanky one . If you are going to give somes exemple, at least give good one . those can all tank 2 hits from adamant, brave bird+sharp beak talonflame at +0 or 1 hit at +2 (2 turns each): bulky water types like lanturn, blastoise, milotic, slowbro, swampert, vaporeon can handle it (deal at least around 66% to hp invested Talonflame and rest with recoil). Kabutops, rhyperior are underrated. offensive intimidate arcanine can revenge kill it with thunder fang or extreme speed. a DD Gyarados with impish nature and hp+def investment. defensive poison heal gliscor with facade. timid jolteon with hp and speed investment and wish but everyone uses it as an all-out-attacker. Other electric pokemons like ampharos, luxray and eelektross can tank a brave bird and a flare blitz at +0 Granbull with thunder punch is an option but afaik it's lacking play rough. Aerodactyl would be an option but we have little access to it. We lack rotom-w/h, diance, unaware quagsire, heatran, volcanion Yes Talonflame is one of the strongest offensive pokemons ingame but it's not like u cant trade 1 for 1 against it even without stealth rock and ttar.
  22. we still dont have all the gen 6 content and u already force gen 7? wow
  23. R.i.P. suicide leads im curious whats the motivation of that move. Because it's not making any sense to me. Focus sashes were the best late-game money sink in the game and important for the PvP-metagame. And getting some every two weeks from bosses isnt enough if u play alot of PvP-matches. Making rare candy untradable is imo ok if u want to sell them from an npc to implement a money sink. But the npc is killed too while we still get free rare candys from digging and pokestop (and the previous price was too high anyway). So this move is not helping - the economy because we will destroy less money now - the PvP-metagame because the sash pool gets limited - to prevent scaming because now u are forced to trade your pokemon to buy rare candys and this move forces us to - buy more ms because the cooldown of bosses is reduced --> more chances to get sashes --> selling them gets u more money - buy more ms because the bonus xp helps to lvl up which is important with a limited rare candy pool - join a guild to get an extra XP-boost and it wont help to get bots of the field. Besides PRO having "money problems" i dont see a reason to do this move because it's not helping with bots, the economy, new players or the PvP-metagame. How can a npc added by accident/mistakenly? That's only possible if the heads of PRO werent around and the rest of the staff decided to implement them (could explain why some staff members got kicked/left)

    Shadow Tag

That makes every pokemon with a working ability even stronger and not weaker. Imo shadow tag isnt the problem right now. Shadow tag is abused to make gothitelle the most reliable setup sweeper with calm mind. Shadow tag + calm mind transforms rest in a reliable recovery move at +2 (or +1) letting u setup to +6, kill the pokemon and still remain +95% HP A bold one with leftover isnt even a guaranteed OHKO with knock off for pokemons like bisharp or weavile right now. But at +6 all of them are a guaranteed OHKO with signal beam or thunderbolt. And if some1 uses a chesto berry instead of a leftover there wouldnt be a chance for a dark type to ever OHKO it once chesto berry is consumed. On the bug side we have only scoliped and heracross (guts+poisoned) being able to OHKO with megahorn limited to 85% because of accuracy. And i dont think we have a strong physical ghost type right now. All the revenge killing stuff is limited by the fact that u are free to switch gothitelle out whenever u want because pursuit isnt working. Gothitelle is fine without calm mind because it has access to taunt. It will do its job but never trade for more than 1for2 and 1for1 in most cases because of its low speed. So before killing gothitelle completely i would advise to bann calm mind (and trick once it works) on shadow tag gothitelle. If its still fotm a bann is still possible.
