    who says its finished? its being worked on, and bug tested by finished I meant. Everything is done. theres just bug testing and some minors things to be added/tweaked here and there. its also nothing to do with server stability. we want it to be as bug free as possible.
  5. thats because samsungs stock OS is crap. I installed CyanogenMod on my Note 4, PRO works flawlessly.

  8. because the hat is Pikachu exclusive, that is its sole purpose, the only reason it was added. it is literally the same as Red Cap (100k in shop) but has the logo.
  9. um, no. Ash hat was added for the sole purpose of being starter pikachu exclusive. There was no other reason for it to be added.
  10. Um, no. legends over 600 will never be catchable. The only way you can get one currently, is by providing a sizeable contribution to PRO (so basically you have to be a long time serving staff member). in the future, there maybe a tornament or 2 with one in. but that is it, so please, stop with the legend suggestions. We had decided legend availability literally years ago.

  12. PRO only supports DirectInput devices natively. Devices such as Xbox 360 controllers, which use Xinput, arent supported. As someone suggested, use a program such as Xpadder to get around this issue.
  13. there will be quests to obtain stuff for other starters too, but technically Pikachu is the worst one of the 4, so it is only right that i give pikachu a boost. when megas work, the availability of the mega stones will balance it back up anyway, because pikachu starters most likely wont be able to get them.
  14. legends under 600 will be catchable in some way, shape or form ones over 600, will be only 1 of each ingame. like for example in Red server, there is already a Mewtwo, a Lugia and a Giratina ingame on player accounts. So these would never be avaialble anyway. this shiny dex idea is just terrible also, meaning nobody would get them.
  15. Before they were removed, the other starters got a free mega stone after a certain amount of time. this will be returning once megas are coded in properly.
  16. because surf is hardcoded to the client. Dig and headbutt are NPC scripted, which needs more interaction. the client can only access the data in the script when it is interacted with, and can only store information server side upon certain instructions. this is why point 2 is impossible. 1. is coming soon (hopefully)

  19. No, i mean custom pokemon as in 'Shadow Lugia, Crystal Onix, Armored Mewtwo', the Xmas exclusive Pokemon. I actually prefer the Gen 5 ones, but again, custom pokemon would need custom spriting, also the whole of the Gen 6 pokes would need to be done in gen 5 style animation. Also, back along we were exploring the possibility of using rendered 3D mesh pokemon, but they looked terrible. This is a 2D game, so better to use 2D sprites.
  20. there is no point. first off, we have custom pokemon, that would mean we would have to make 3D renders of them. which is very time consuming. secondly. the 3DS sprites arent very good. look at them, i mean really look at them. they were designed for 3rd world hardware. theyre all adge marked, aligned to hell. simply not good enough to use.

I did. it was done this way to restrict legendaries to only the most dedicated of player. you think 350 hours is bad? try getting 1000, since that is the requirement to go for one of the legendary dogs. not every player should be able to get the best the pokemon world has to offer simply by sitting ingame for a few hours.
  22. so, all i see is moaning about the android client. the android client wasnt released due to a multitude of reasons. Main one was shane was away on a family trip. Secondarily not enough was added to the main clients for there to warrant an android release, due to the volume of map updates for hoenn. In the near future, android will not have this restriction of not being able to download maps. This is what is being worked on. Blame unity for not supporting android. Android doesnt like compressed asset files, hence why maps wouldnt download on the platform. Again, this is being worked around so android will be just as good a port as the rest of them. But, guess what? these things take time, and we have lives to live too. Also, on the subject of Nintendo. They can do whatever they please with their own IPs, but as long as we keep it in beta, that safeguards us from being sued for using cooywrite material in a fully featured game. You guys do not need to worry about this, however. So the nintendo discussion ends here.

    Server Hosting

    This is because PRO is built closed source, and controlled in house by our team. The dedicated server route is one we simply dont want to take. Now, with regards to the server instability, if you take a look on the announcements page, you will see a topic outlining that the blue server is being used as a testbed for debugging and fixing the crash related server errors. Some people may not like this, but we cant find the nature of these crashes without people playing. Shane has literally been working tirelessly over the last week or so recoding parts of the server so that soon it will be stable enough to stay up for days, not hours at a time.
