  1. Well, I don't think this guide has anything to do with the regions and or how fast to get one from the get-go. But rather the speed of getting a H.A and the best spot to hunt it in overall. This is why I decided to mention Mt.Silver 1F: - Cheap and no expenses to get to it from the starter region (Kanto) - Highest spawn levels possible - Accessible early on, for any newcomers - Maximum a tier 2 spawn, as they appear mostly at the same "rates" as a tier 1. - No extra use of HM or TM to access the spot (i.e No Cut, Waterfall, or Rock smash to access a water spot) - Only allows 1 Pokemon to spawn - Can be fished with a low-tier Rod (i.e Old Rod), and be the only catchable Pokemon with it. - Pokecenter outside the cave, less then 30 steps away from the spawn location, for easy access to healing. While the spot you mentioned is excellent as well It is only accessible for the people that have completed Johto and Hoenn, or part of Hoenn and gotten themselves HM06 Dive. Furthermore, it is a long way too treverse by foot, if you want to spend as little as possible to farm for it. And it does lack some of the ones I have listed for the spot I chose.
  2. While that is true, the Pokemon level is only 30-34 and the player would have to have completed parts of the of Hoenn Story (and obtained HM06 Dive) in order to unlock it. But it is also a prime spot for surfing/fishing a Magikarp or Gyarados, as they are the only spawns in that map.
  3. A small but interesting guide. Great work on this, I'm sure many will enjoy it! As for a small addition to this, because I just can't help myself to it - In addition to hunting for it in the Pitch Black Cave, you can also hunt for it using the Old Rod in Mt. Silver 1F. Which yields a high level Pokemon between 47-50, but it is a tier 2 spawn. The unique thing about this spot is that no other Pokemon is fishable with the Old Rod. Making that place also a interesting choice to farm. As Poliwag would only be fishable with a Good Rod, thereafter leaving the only fishable with Old Rod, a Magikarp. The only requirement to access Mt.Silver is that the player has defeated Johto Elite Four. I am sure that 90% who will view this, already has Mt.Silver unlocked, which is why I decided to put it in there.
  4. +1 I believe there should be a way in-game to check this and not rely on external tools(i.e Discord bot) If you really want to check your time remaining, Reborn Discord Bot has the Inspect command available. For now, you can PM the bot, as it cannot be added to further servers before its sharded. You can find it on PRO's Discord server. Here is a preview of the Inspect command: The time displayed is how many hours or days left of the active MS.
  5. -1 As others have mentioned, not everything is about healing when you enter a Pokecenter. A Pokecenter serves as a facility for Healing, Trading and storing Pokemon. It also hosts a NPC that can check the Hidden Power of a Pokemon and a underground for transportation. Sometimes you visit a Pokecenter just to have a point to return to nearby. And if you are repel tricking or just out to sync, you can have your first pokemon in the party as fainted to lead for a better time hunting. If you want to autoheal, there is currently only one method. But I will not go into further details on that. The dialog is simply there to replicate the original game and removing it would make Nurse Joy useless.
  6. ooo, its marvelous!
  7. I see you've caught me during my peaceful meditation hour on this powerful but yet totally useless red bird mount thing creature or whatever this can be called that I earned from @Scara
  8. I suppose the one that hit me the hardest so far was Plastic Memories. Unaware of what the anime was all about, I went in fully prepared for a romantic-ish anime... But soon after, came to realize what tragic end was about to unfold in front of my very eyes. The ending in specific, teared me up and it felt like my heart had been shattered into a billion fragements.

+1 I ocassionally play on a Samsung S10+ and I also have the same issues, even when the GUI is maxed out. Buttons are too small, overlaps (i.e chat close/open is completely gone), can barely scroll down the PC Box or Pokedex etc. While, I know that PRO is more or less best compatibable with PC/Mac. It is still frustrating nonetheless for users that wants to play on their phone when they don't have a PC/Mac available at the time.
  10. If you take a look at their DEV to-do list - pinned at the top in this section. You can see that this feature to change the PC Box is already on their to-do list. And it has also been suggested multiple times over the years. But, I can agree that it is frustrating to look through all your Pokemon to find the right one.

-1 I believe this could be used to raise the value of an "epic" to "godly" Pokemon in a bad way and then ruin the current trading value in general on PRO. The chances of getting a near perfect Pokemon is rare, which in terms increases the price paid for it. Becasue your luck and the hours, possibly days of farming is what really drives the prices up, especially during a hunt for an event form. The IVs, the nature and the rarity is what's driving the value of a Pokemon up, if you modify a single step in this ladder, the prices would be greatly affected. Example of how it could be used in order to negatively affect the PRO trading market: If a epic poke went up to Goodly, it would increase the prices tenfolds. So here is a good example on how it could be absued and ruin the economy and trading on PRO. A epic PvP poke which nature is Adament (+ATK - SPATK), it has 2 IV in ATK and 31 IV in SPATK. Everything else is 23+ The price for this would be DRASTICALLY lowered, because its affected by the low IVs which are a very needed factor for this specific PvP poke. Switching this around, putting the 31 from SPATK to ATK, would increase the price tenfolds, as it would become a "godly" pokemon with the best IVs possible. Thus, tempering with one step on this ladder, would impact both the economy and the trading value on PRO. But, under any other circumstances, I would have loved this feature and would probably have suggested it myself, if I weren't aware of the trading done on PRO.
  12. As a contributor, I am pleased to see more contributions done on PRO, especially on this type of field. And hope you'll have a good time while doing so and learn as much as you can. Constructive Critism from a fellow Discord Bot Developer: Now, as a Discord Bot Developer, and soul owner and developer of Tsumiki Discord bot. It has 120+ commands, advanced systems like Mention system, Pagination system etc and being in over 2000 servers. So, by all that I can ensure you that my opinion is constructive. I want to give my personal opinion on this from a developer's perpsective. I will be very strict, so hope you can enjoy some consctructive criticism from someone experienced in this field, else turn back now. You lack responses to every command, if no parameters are given. I.e using ^s without any route or map name parameters, it returns nothing. This is an especially bad behavior, and its pretty common knowledge for any Discord bot developer to know. You have no whitespace remover for prefix, in case someone accidentally types "^ help" or related. Anything that helps the user overcome their own mistakes and still get a response, is all the better for the bot in the long haul. Its also small features like this, that users would initially come to love. This is more or less just copy-pasted formatting from Reborn I.e everything looks the same as Reborn in terms of format. It might as well have been done by myself in half an hour and called it a day. Seriously. You might call it "NQR - Not Quite Reborn", but its an identical replica of Reborn. But you've edited the footers in the embedded messages and added some mod commands. As a bot developer, I feel like you've stepped on someone's foot and continued to walk forward like nothing happened. If its not hosted on a server with a uptime of 24/7, it might as well be hosted by someone's computer. Nowadays its very easy to find a free 24/7 hosting solution, and its even easier to set it up with a Discord bot. Outdated content - A developer's worst nightmare scenario. Having outdated content (i.e spawns from pre-valentine) would impact the bot's overall preformence. People would certainly be given the wrong information and believe the bot is "outdated". Since much has changed since the last release in terms of spawns. And with new locations, comes new spawn locations. Which also heavily impacts outdated content and the bot's preformence. Even the smallest of details would either make someone stay and use the bot or instantly decide to drop it. Seems like you're using SM instead of XY for Smogon. Idk why you've decided to go for that, since Z-moves are not currently in the game. And I believe that XY is still the most relevant to PRO's current game situation, with mega Pokemon being a thing. But, I will say that I am impressed, even if its still somewhat a replica and something that could be easily done by any Discord Bot Developer. Hope to see some good changes with this bot in the near future.
  13. Hey @Yashashree Were you the OT (Original Trainer) of the Garchomp? And did it have full happiness (255)? And did it have the required IV value or above for ATK stat? It would be nice if you could provide more information on the issue.

-1 Sorry gotta disappoint you lots with this, but I have a good reason for why it should not be changed. Its small things like this. That special exclusivity of chosing the 4th "hidden" option. Namely chosing Pikachu as your starter. First, it was also exclusive to the Pikachu Surf Tutor Victor in Route 19. But this was later changed, if I am not entirely mistaken(?) Ash's hat is a nice exclusive side-quest for people chosing the last "option". And I believe it should stay that way. Its a small reward for not chosing a original starter. I did in fact start my first story on PRO with a Pikachu, unaware of this little side-quest exclusivity, and this is not a biased opinion based souly off that fact. It felt like a small reward for picking it, despite having 3 good original starters to pick from. If you really really really want it, you can at anytime - create a new account and start a fresh new story with Pikachu as your starter. Keep in mind that the max allowed accounts on PRO are 4 accounts. Do mind that this item is NOT tradeable* *Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty confident its not a tradeable item.
