I'm not so sure the increase proposed here would really impact our economy. I personnally always chose the syncable reward and even like that after 6k+ hours i still didn't get a single pvpable poke from a boss reward. I never click the shiny chance option because i've known very old players with many hours that 100% click the shiny chance since that option exist and never got a single one even when grinding everytime they get a chance. So to be honest, I don't see the proposed increase giving more than just one single shiny in the life of an overage PRO player. And even if some of us get luckier and get 2 or 3 shiny, it will not saturate a market of T8-T9 shiny poke. It will just make some shiny collectors happy to finally find something on the market.

Not against it but I think it would be worth something to have this kind of ranking only if the shiny counted are the OT ones. We already have a ranking for people with the most money, we don't need another ranking where overich players can rub their money on the face of other players who are not so business oriented. Let's be real it would be only the kind of ranking you could see from dashboard and it would only be for fun and totally not a priority item in the list of things to implement in the game.

As a guy with 6k+ hours and many time spent hunting all sorts of things I would directly benefits from that and yet I think it's a very bad idea. It cannot be like that. Catching good poke should always be random. That's the beauty of the game. Since the topic title is "Reward players for hard work and less RNG" I could totally see other suggestions fitting this title. Like with reroll tickets on legendaries... I know people (including myself) with crazy amount of hours that still don't have pvpable staple legendaries even after spamming tons of rerolls... that should not be acceptable... and i'm annoyed by this 1000 times more than by the fact I still have to grind weeks to get a good rare poke when a guy with 150 hours find a shiny epic riolu. Why don't we have a system where for every 20 rerolls tickets used (or another number) with a stat under 10 (or another number), from the 21st rerolls ticket this stat cannot be under 10. It take an example : First reroll i get (atk, def, speed, spatk, spdef, hp) : 10, 9, 8, 11, 28,31 (yes that's really the kind of crappy stats we can get at the 20th rr used) Second reroll i get : 21, 4, 1, 15, 12, 29 Etc ...until 20th reroll If during these 20 reroll, the def stat and the speed stat were always below 10 then it should not be possible that the next rerolls to be used gives a stat under 10 for def and speed. I like this proposal because 10 is fairly low for something we want to use for pvp so we won't all end up having pure gods legendaries and also because there is nothing the player can do about it other than use a lot or rerolls (which we already do but with potentially no other reward than the feeling of unstoppable failure).

To be honest i don't find the meta is that boring nor repetitive. The rare times i've seen the same team over and over i checked and all 6 or 7 accounts were in the same guild. So there is that too, people sharing teams with nubs in guild so that they have something to progress with (or maybe pvp on multiples accounts by one guy but that would be illegal). If you just complain with the fact you see a lot of trick room, rain teams and stall then showdown is not any better...
