The New Xmas Event in 2022: A welcoming change with glaring limitations. To begin with, I must give a big thumb up to the content creators who design and make this event quest happen. This, to my knowledge, is the first quest in PRO that incorporates the “party” element into it, something that many players much desire from playing various MMO games before/alongside PRO. As much as being a good cause to celebrate, the new Xmas quest is not without glaring shortcomings. This post is made to provide constructive feedback that hopefully will be of use to the people in charge of future quests. Now, the big question arrives: “Is it worth doing the quest?” All of my friends and people I know of have answered with a resounding NO. Why? Because this quest has horrible balance between Effort and Reward. Without referencing to any guide (shameless plug: My Youtube has the 1st completed quest guide if u wanna check it out), a team consists of all new players will take at least 1.5-2 hours to hopefully complete the quest. Any subsequent run will take at least 40 minutes to complete with the newly gained experience. And what are the rewards? Lucarionite mega stone, which takes at least 2 runs to get, Light Stone, which has a horrible spawn rate, and random xmas coins/nugget, big pearl etc., which costs as much as 30-40k Pokedollar. The additional bonus quest is even worse, fighting like 10 enemies and items to earn 30-50 Xmas Coins? It’s hilarious at best compared to all other activities we could have done in PRO to earn 10x the money in the same spent time. And no, after doing it at least twice, I doubt anyone would be able to say that the fun is worth it. The main rewards are a banned right from the get-go Mega Stone, and a Light Stone that no one knows what to do with it yet. And don’t even get me started on Light Stone. Its spawn rate is absolutely horrible. One of my guildies has run the quest more than 10 times and he still has not gotten it. It’s such a demotivating part of the quest, and no one would want to be in his position. Why could you not guarantee giving away the stone after you have completed the dungeon 3 times, for example, similar to the 3 Legendary Dog quest? When you spent 10 hours in the game and still not have gotten a main, basic reward of the quest, then something is horribly wrong here. I don’t even know why you would want to bait us with the bonus quest of fighting 10 enemies and items just to earn a few measly Xmas Coins. Is the inflation in the economy that bad, that you could not give out a reward that would not considered a joke? All of my friends literally ROFL when they found out the reward from one of the streams in my guild. No one would want to do the quest again if not for helping friends who have not gotten their main rewards yet. I have not even started on the design of the quest. It’s not really newbie-friendly, and it’s not quite user-friendly. To complete the quest, you should have a party of at least 4, which leaves quite a hurdle for new players or those who only play within a very small circle. If the quest is more feas­ible to complete with 2 or 3 players, it would very much ease up the difficulties in completing the quest toward those. In addition, there has been runs where my party completed the quest within an hour just to get 0 point, presumably because one person got disconnected in a fight and the whole team got penalized for that. And god knows how many times PRO loses connection a day. Eliminating such unwanted penalty in future quests would be a very worthwhile improvement. To sum it up, the new Party Quest is an amazing addition to the game that would freshen any relevant future contents in PRO, but the current execution still leaves much to be desired. Improving the future rewards to match it up with the effort spent should be one of the biggest concerns for future released quests.

Hello, we do plan to add this at some point but every change requires multiple translations. That's why we did not add it yet.

To chip in my 50 cents: For me, I do use it as a replacement or better set, as a next step for pokemon on level 60 or more. Since the Levels are the highest on that floor, I only train on the first floor (where the entrance is) There are two "areas" the water and the Land. Water is easier to judge, it has Psyduck, Goldduck and Slowpoke as common, and Slowbro as uncommon encounters. Bhimoso wrote this in his guide: So the takeaway for me is: Pokemon with Graß and Electric moves can be trained pretty easily in water, Pokemon with Dark and Bug moves have to potentialy flee from the Ducks. Defensewise if your pokemon resists (or is imune to) Water and/or Psychic Attacks, the cave is also a great place to train. You should be aware, that Slowpoke and Slowbro are tanky, so expect them to potentialy tank a few attaks before. It you're pokemon is weak against Psychic consider fleeing from the Slowpokes until you can oneshot them. On Land you'll encounter more pokemon, the common ones are Arbok, Electrode, Goldbat, Graveler, Machoke, Parasect, Primeape, Sandslash and Venomoth. You'll also enconter Ditto, Licktiung, Raichu, Rhyhorn and Rhrydon as uncommon pokemons. I'll skip the Rare ones. Most of these Pokes are the usual cave pokemon, so the same Rules apply: Water, Gras, Psychic, Electro, Fighting and Ground are effective to a good part of these, other types are harder to train since you'll have to flee more often. Also be aware, that Graveler as one of the most common pokemon often has Sturdy and will hit you with Stone Edge, Double Edge, Earthquake or Explosien which can give you some trouble. Also for training with Immunities, the Arboks, only know Poison-Attacks, so Steel-Types can be easily trained against it. My verdict for land is, that you have stronger Cave-Pokemon which makes it a better version of Victory Road to train BUT it has more clutter, which may drag it's eficency down. It your Pokemon is high level enough or has enough other typed attacks, that disadvantage will schrink. TLDR: Yes, for 80% it can replace Victory Road, but look out for more bad Matches who'll reduce efficency and may make it the worse choice.

Real Money/ World Trading is strictly prohibited and all accounts involved will receive a permanent ban if done. This includes, but is not limited to: Buying or selling anything in PRO for money or goods in real life. Exchanging anything in PRO for items, money, etc on another game. Buying or selling an account on PRO for money or goods in-game. (Example: Coin Capsule, etc.) Buying or selling an account on PRO for money or goods in real life. Buying or selling an account on PRO for CC. 5. Using any kind of unauthorised software, hacking or editing the PRO game/ client is prohibited. Unauthorised software includes: Any kind of automated software. (Bots, Macro). Software which injects into PRO's files to give unfair advantages. (Speed hacking). External software that gives unfair advantages, which is not endorsed by PRO. 6. Abusing glitches, and not reporting them as soon as possible, will result in sanctions. Accounts which abuse bugs will not be unbanned unless all illegitimate gains can be removed from the account. 7. Not reporting incriminating evidence, helping a user evade a ban, and hiding illegally gained belongings are all strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to: Not reporting a user who you know has cheated or abused bugs. Sharing accounts with a user who is permanently banned. Trading stolen, botted or illegitimately gained Pokemon, items, money, etc whilst knowing of their origin. Not reporting a Staff Member who abuses position, leaks Staff-only information to users or leaks unpublished PRO content. 8. Exploiting Bosses to excessively gain income is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: Selling or buying Boss Service. Fight Bosses on more than 4 accounts, regardless of ownership. Fight Bosses on both servers with the same account. If you transferred, you will have to wait for the cooldown on the other server to end in order to rechallenge. 9. The Trade Rules must be followed at all times. Rules may differ depending on which platform the user is trading on (Forums, In-game, Discord Chat). Scamming another user when trading will result in an immediate permanent ban. 10. By playing PRO's Ranked PvP, you agree to the PvP Rules. The PvP rules do not apply to the unranked/ friendly battles. 11. By engaging in the in-game chats, you agree and acknowledge the Chat Rules. Private channel owners/ Guild leaders have the right to moderate their channels. Insults and harassment are never acceptable, even when done in private channels. PRO Staff will only moderate private messages if they are reported via the Report Center. 12. Deplorable behaviour, profanity, spamming and posting inappropriate/ adult content are all against the rules. PRO Staff will report you to the appropriate authorities if your offence is considered illegal. 13. Posting malicious links, such as phishing links, adult content, or anything inappropriate for children is prohibited. 14. Impersonating a member of PRO staff is strictly prohibited and will result in harsh sanctioning if attempted. If username based, the infringing account will be permanently suspended without question. 15. When registering an account, you must not take a username that is inappropriate for children. You may be questioned or permanently banned if your name is deemed inappropriate. 16. Gaining unauthorised access to another user's account is strictly prohibited and will be met with severe consequences. 17. PVE Ladder related rules (currently active only during specific event but rule is valid in any PVE ladder will be released from now on) : Any form of boosting is prohibited. (Example, having someone else play for you in order to enter ladder regardless if free or paid) You are allowed to have only one single account in a server PVE ladder. Disclaimers PRO's Rules apply to all official PRO Scope. This includes the forum, game, Discord servers as well as any officially owned platform. Infractions done against a member of staff may receive additional or harsher punishments depending on the nature of the infraction. Member's of PRO's staff team and anyone representing PRO (Discord moderation, acknowledged contributors, etc) are not exempt from the rules and will be punished significantly harder if they break them.
