  5. The PVP system is a ELO System. Theoretically, with a very very good matchmaking system, we should all have around 50% winrate. In practice, it can't work on PRO because the community is low, it's impossible to have a good matchmaking system. On PRO, with the ELO and the matchmaking system, the winrate means nothing, the winrate just show how lucky you were on matchmaking. BTW, spamming game doesn't give more rating than you should have. Yes, there is a minimum of game to do to have an certain rating, but doing more game than this minimum will not give more rating. We can see some example of players doing 1500 games in one season and stay at same ratings during the entire season. In the past, i saw some cases of players with same rating in ladder, in the same day, you just had to refresh your page on ladder and see each others changes their places (so the characters in the name changed nothing). Not sure if it was changed or not. Imagine, we decide to create a new system: if 2 players has same rating, the player with better winrate win. This system tends to not motivate players to continue to PVP. If you reach your theoretical max ratings whatever you do you will stay at same rating, the only impact to continue to PVP is just reduce your winrate.

  8. Update : In the last update of the game, Walrosskastanie changed how the pokedex counts some PKM: It means all the hidden pokemon doesn't count anymore in the dex. For Megas, we don't have the seen data anymore, for Rotom-forms we don't have the owned, seen and evolved data anymore. So, i delet the part : "IX. Hidden Pokemon" from this guide since it doesn't exist anymore. As you can understand, the maximum numbers on dex were reduced after this update. So i updated the guide according to this new numbers.
  9. Yes it's hard to communicate with no-English speakers, but it's the majority of the community. Just use simple English to speak with others players. And if a player doesn't speak you in English, just close the pm and don't lose time with him. If you want to do trade with only members of same community as you, you can use the different language chat: "french", "spanish", etc. The game was build to be international, and English is the 2nd language of the majority of players. It's why all the official chat, discord, forum are in English to not divide the community. For the same reason, i don't feel it's a good idea to translate the game in different language, it's already hard for players to communicate with each others, if we all have different name for a same item / pkm, it will be insane xD And Walrosskastanie seems to confirm the game will never be translate. However, the next website for PRO will be translate (presentation of the game, rules, etc). Specially for the rules, it's a good idea, sometimes the limit of language can lead some players to misunderstand the rules.
  10. Just to know, the probability to find exactly the same IVs is: 1 on 887503681. Since you already have the first IVs, the only thing matters is to find the same combination of IVs again, and each combination is almost unique. So, it's more a bug that bad luck :x

According to Bulbapedia: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Butterfree_(Pok%C3%A9mon)#By_leveling_up It seems Butterfree learns now Sleep Powder at lv 13 instead of lv 12 in others generations.   13. I just did some data in Cerulean Cave, not a lot, but enough to see if there is any changes. Here are my raw data: All this amounts are exactly in the list of amount the formula predicts. So it doesn't seems there is any difference. Let's look the average in data and in theory: With this distribution of level, i am supposed to find in average 313,78 pokedollars per PKM, in my datas i just found 291,52 pokedollars in average. It's a little lower, but not significant. You can notice i didn't find lv 60 pkm, it's a new bug, the first level in a level range doesn't spawn xD should be corrected soon. In final, it seems the formula didn't change for money, you should find exactly the same than before in average. Even the opposite, before the update, the last level of PKM didn't spawn, now it's the first level, so in an area the pkm have higher level, you should find more money ;)

Can you do data to confirm your sayings? Just 100 PKM should be enough to notice if there is an huge difference or not. (and post here your raw data directly) Example: Name - Level - Money Golbat - 63 - 630 Graveler - 61 - 600 etc. And if it's with or without MS.

Introduction Hello PRO Community, Since i started PRO, i notice it's possible to make a lot of money by killing wild PKM, but until now i didn't search what was the exact formula for money. After all, players don't really know if the money earned depends of the level of PKM, the areas, the evolved PKM, the IVs of the PKM, or any others you can imagine. So, i decided to look for it, to know what is the exact formula. Why? Because with the formula, we can make better decisions; know where to farm money, how much money we gain by killing PKM, know if there are some tricks, etc. For real, after killing 1k PKM in different areas, i just look the data and it took me 3 minutes to imagine what was the possible formula, the rest of my time was used to test this theoretical formula. So, i think, just nobody before me tried to find it xD In the begin of this guide, i will explain my theoretical formula, how i found it, and how i tested it. With that, you can criticize this theoretical formula, all the raw data are in the end of this post. If you don't care about it, just pass to the next part. (i tried to make easy and fast, so you can read it without knowledge in math, all is basic) Warning: All you will read in that guide is just a theoretical formula, nothing official. Maybe, i didn't find all we have to know about it. You will see there is a random part in that formula, i have no idea how this random part is generated; maybe it depends of the IVs of the PKM, but in that case i can't test it, since i need to kill the PKM to see the money and i need to catch the PKM to see the IVs xD This theoretical formula works very well with the data i found, maybe InGame it's not the exact same formula, or the formula is not the same at all but acts exactly the same. II. How did i find and test this formula? My first idea was the money earned depends of the PKM level, but not sure about it, i have to also try if it depends of the area or not. A good area to check money earned is Cerulean Cave, the levels of the PKM are pretty huge, so the number will be less impacted by a rounded part in the formula. Let's look what i find there : In this data, we see the type of farming seems to not affect the money: Land and Surf give exactly the same range of amount for money. The type of PKM seems to not affect this range too, i got some Golbat with 6 pokedollars, some Golbat with 600, some Psyduck with 6, some Psyduck with 600, etc. It's a good point, make easier to find the formula. We see the range is not exactly the same depending of the level of the PKM, the max pokedollars with lv 60 is 600, max with 61 is 610, max with 62 is 620 and max with 63 is 630 (but the minimum is exactly the same: 6). So the money seems very correlated with the level. Until now, i don't know if it's linked to the area or not. You might notice something very weird: in Cerulean Cave 1F, on the Bot Reborn we can see the level range is 60-64, but i got 0 PKM lv 64. It's normal, as i explained in that topic: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/109273-url , the last level in a level range never spawn. Edit : The bug of last level have been corrected since. I admit here, the correlation with the level is not very impressive, so just to see it, here are my data in Resort Area : Come back to Cerulean Cave, all my data are even number, it's normal, i didn't say it before but i farmed with MS, the MS bonus on money is +100% making double all the amount i find. But something on Cerulean Cave give me a very good clue for the formula. Let's look the amount of money i found for level 60 (Land and Surf): All this numbers are multiples of 6; the minimum is 6 and the max is 600, and all multiples of 6 are in that range. And from 6 to 600, there are a total of 100 multiples of 6. So i imagined first this formula: Because 6 is 60 divided by 10, so in the formula i have to divide 60 by 10. But there is the MS part making double money, without MS, it would be between 3 to 300, or 60 / 3 = 20. So it's lvl / 20 * 2 (for ms). And the random number between 1 to 100 to have the 100 different values. This formula works well for lv 60-61-62-63 if i round the final result. But, until now, i didn't test in others areas, and didn't check with others level. I know in advance, my formula is not over at all, but i feel it's a good start. Let's check in Dragons Shrine, the level range is exactly the same, just for checking if the money range is the same : I find exactly the same number than Cerulean Cave, it seems to not be linked to the area (still not sure), but my formula here seems to works. But i need to test with others level. As i was lazy to move a lot, i started to collect data in Dragons Den: As i expected, seems again correlated to level, good point, and the area seems to not affect the money. But let's try the formula with just one PKM: I took the minimum value, so i can say "r" should be 1 in the formula. Money earned= r * lvl / 20 * ms Money earned= 1 * 51 / 20 * 2 Money earned= 5,1 Even with a round down, i should expect to find 5 pokedollars, but i found 4. It means there is a round down before the MS. Money earned= ⌊ r * lvl / 20 ⌋ * ms Money earned= ⌊ 1 * 51 / 20 ⌋ * 2 Money earned= ⌊ 2,55 ⌋ * 2 Money earned= 2 * 2 Money earned= 4 It's a good start this round down, but nothing sure about it. So i looked with all the data i got in this area (and the previous area), and it seems to work. I had a very good feeling about it at this point. So let's go for this formula: And look what would be the amount of money for all r and all level: Yes i know, it burns eyes. But something funny appears. We notice for some level, the distribution of each amount of money is not exactly the same if this formula is correct. And specially with low level like 1-2-3, we can even test in practice this distribution : It means, for example, for level 1, the amount of money i will find will be 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10; the amount 10 will appear way less than the others amounts. Sadly, there is no area to farm easily some PKM lv 1. But, i found a nice area: Route 101 with only PKM lv 2 and 3. If there is a difference in the distribution, i should find it. Let's see my data : As expected by my formula, the distribution is not an equal-distribution for all amount of money, for lv 2 the amount 20 appears less than others, same for lv 3 and the amount 30. My sample seems low, but it's enough to notice it's not an equal-distribution. At this point, i am pretty confident on my formula, if it's able to predict this distribution of amounts and the amounts, it seems pretty correct. I did just an other test for my own fun, for lv 19, it's possible to find 0 pokedollar. For this, i went to Ice Path B1F, with only PKM lv 18 and 19. After 152 PKM lv 18-19 killed, i finally found it: Nice, as i expected a lv 19 giving 0 pokedollar. I was happy to find it :3 But it's not enough yet, my data don't take all possible level, and for distribution of level i don't have a lot of data to check. I started looking for an area with high level PKM, and i discovered Resort Area: An area with PKM lv 1 to lv 100 :o In fact, like i said before, the last level in a level range seems to never spawn, so i will not find PKM lv 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100. But it's still a very good area to test my formula. As i posted before, here are my results: We see very well here the link between money and level. A good test for my theoretical formula is : the formula is supposed to predict some specifics amounts of money i am supposed to earn. If i find just ONE amount different from what my formula predict, it means my formula is not correct. So let's see: Yes i like burning eyes :3 On 5000 magikarp killed, all the amounts of money i found are all in the list of amounts i am supposed to find with the formula. Just one would be enough to say the formula is not correct! So, i know my formula is able to predict the min value, the max value and all the values inside. Now, i will look how to check if it's able to predict the distribution. A good way is look the average money i am supposed to find. Since i have a theoretical distribution of level, i am able to calculate an theoretical average by level, and in the end a global average: With this theoretical global average, i am supposed to find in average 251,62 pokedollars per PKM in this area. Let's look what i really found: Hum... 251 to 221, it's a huge gap. I missed something. And this thing is this "bug" : https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/110291-url To resume : the distribution of level is not an equal-distribution, the lower level spawn more than the others. So, my global average can't be correct if i don't take into account the distribution of level. I don't have the exact percentage for the distribution. So, i decided to use the number of PKM by level i got to calculate my global average : With this global weighted average theoretical, i am supposed to find 220,09 pokedollars per PKM. In my data, i find 221,03; very close :) It means my formula is able to predict the average money, so the distribution of amounts of money. Let's check in others data the average too, i will use only Cerulean Cave and Dragons Shrine, because it's there i got the most data. And also, because both areas are lv 60-63 so i can add the data to each others because the area doesn't matter (i deleted the Kadabra, because it's not the same level and i don't have a lot of data). So, i am supposed to find 309,27 pokedollars per PKM; and i find in practice 309,07. In final, i pretty confident about this formula, be able to predict all the amounts possible, the distribution of this amounts, the average money in areas, the average money by level, the min value, the max value. I think i got the right formula. But, like i said in the introduction, i don't know how the random number is generated, and i don't know if it's coded like this formula. In practice, whatever the real formula or how it's coded, my theoretical formula acts exactly the same. III. Money formula IV. Money by level With MS Without MS If you want to use this average, don't forget: the distribution for level is not an equal-distribution, so the best area for farming can not be the one you expect ;) And the last level in a level range seems to never spawn.   18. When a PKM uses Roost, he lost his Fly type, so he lost his weakness to Ice. So the damages are normal, it's not a bug.

If yes, how?: Yes, the game changed a lot; some updates were totally game breaker and changed the way players play to PRO (like the Bot Reborn with the access to all tiers for Spawns, or the ^inspect, or the memberlist for guild that help a lot to guild management). I don't agree with all changes (that is normal, we can't all agree on everything), but the good point of PRO is staff stays close to the community, because they are players in first place. So, all changes are made according to the community. Is there a staff member or player who you feel is underrated?: Hard to rate staff members or players xD I have a name in mind : Haneroze who is working hard on the PRO Wiki, and not a lot of players know his work. Staff members work in shadow, pretty hard to know what they really do x) If you could change one thing about PRO, what would it be (no restrictions, be creative)?: There is still a lot of work on PRO to improve the game sadly, not necessary Ingame stuff, a good part of a game is based on the community and its projects. I will forget a lot, but try to make a little list : Improve the interest of Guild. That can be in many way: have guild having a better impact Ingame (not necessary bonus), but on visibility. To make guilds fighting each others. What make me sad is seeing players joining guilds only for the first place on Guild Ladder and in some case being pay for it. Some guild leader only play on it: Make join the guild to be first in PVP Ladder. I want to see fights between guilds, sadly PKM make the only interest by PVP, we don't have any others Ladder. An official tournament by guilds can be nice, for example: Each guilds pick 10 players to represent them during the tournament. Ingame event by guild: the hide and sick for example was nice, it wasn't really for guild, but in French Connexion we organized with 6 players to collect information and win the hide and sick as a guild and not individual players. I see some nice projects are in progress for guild : Guild Island, Guild Bank, the little icon above players for top 3 guilds. I want to see this projects succeed because it give more interest of guilds. Having the spawn percentage public, i know staff is not for this part, but i think it's in the interest of players knowing it. When we farm we product PKM, the spawn percentage is a huge part to know the cost of product (for the time used in average on it). The economy is grandly affected by the spawn percentage, and it's a MMO asking for a lot of time, we need to make decisions. To make decision, it's better when we have access to more information. A simple example : If we see 2 different PKM tiers 9 on sell, if the PKMs have the same IVs, same nature, same ability (it almost never happens but it's an example xD), same interest in PVP, same offer and demands on it, etc. The 2 PKM seems exactly the same, the only different might be the spawn percentage, but we don't know that part. If i want to buy this PKM but i don't have the budget to buy both, which one should i pick? I could pick with the price, but if they are exactly the same, it should be same price, the only difference (spawn percentage) is not know, i can't know which one pick. In fact, the price check are very very random on PRO: Nobody can predict the market price. (In real life it's also the case, nobody can predict if the price will increase or decrease, it's the same on PRO, and we never have 2 same products on PRO because with the IVs all PKM are almost unique). The only way to know if we should sell, buy, or farm is looking at the costs of products of PKM. Sadly, we can't do it correctly without spawn percentage. Some guys might say : "We know it's around 1% of tiers 9 depending of the areas, it's enough, in all case the farm is random". But no, 1% is not enough, having 0,1-0,2% gap changes a lot on the costs of the PKM. And even if farm is random, we never farm 1 time, we farm massively. This random part disappears with huge sample. Like i already said: We can be lucky 3-4 times, maybe more, but we are never lucky all the time. [*]Better storing for PKM on PC. I don't know if it's possible or might be possible. But i feel a lot of players want it, just choose in which boxes put a PKM may change a lot to help organize boxes. And 900 PKM limits is annoying xD [*]Reducing the number of bosses. I know players want more money with it and staff is actually changing the bosses. But i don't feel making it giving more rewards is in the best interested of the game, it's already broken in the sense it already give a lot, best way to make money. But for me, players only doing bosses is not in the interested of PRO, players should have to pick between differents ways to play the game to not lose interest of play. It's hard to be competitive by not doing the bosses as it's broken. But, nobody want to pass his entire game time doing all bosses. So, for me, we should limit the number of bosses. If i have to give a number: 30 max. 10 easy, 10 moderate, 10 hard. Staff is working on it, and i want to see what it will be :) [*]A new unique region. I joke sometimes by saying i want the Kaminokage's region x) but the idea seems not totally without sense. A new region creating only for PRO can be nice. It's exactly like making the same region than official game but just a different story to create. It makes the game unique with his own region. (not necessary named Kaminokage's region, but it wouldn't be that bad :p) [*]Fastest battles to farm faster. An other players just asked for it, and i agree, the animation of Pokeball in begin of battle is way too long :'( [*]Update all Move / Ability / Megas, etc. Staff is working on it, and PVP needs it to be closer to showdown. Players really want to have the same meta than showdown :x (so we can adapt rules to showdown, and not random ban in a totally different meta, and some PKM should be ban in this meta :x) [*]Don't make the game easier. I think about spawns in that part, don't make spawns easier, but harmonize it for each tiers is almost equal to an other PKM of same tiers. I see some players asking for : "Higher shiny rate 1/4096 ", just no please xD [*]PVP Stats, Walross spoke about it on a new website, i don't know how this project is going on. But i want to see it to have the mostused PKM on PVP for example, etc. [*]PVP System rewamped. Not sure about it, need to think more. But might be interesting to have an hidden elo and the ladder elo. Actually, the matchmaking make use face totally random players (because we don't have a huge number of players in PVP, we can't change it). So, in middle of season, when a guys with 1 rating starts PVP and beat a players with 400 ratings, it costs a lot to the high rating player. A hidden elo would help to not having case like this, this elo will never be reset between season. Not sure it's the best for the game, i need to think what would be the impact of this huge changes, this idea can be very good, or totally very bad :x [*]News papers every months/weeks. This idea is not game breaker and changes nothing ingame. It's more for the community and his activity. A news papers can have the update (already done), but also interview of some players, the opinions of some staffs members about the last updates, the results of some events, the events incoming, etc. I saw this in some others MMO, it's not the most broken update, but community may like the read it. I might forget a lot of stuffs i would want to be added, but this lists are the firsts things coming in mind x) Edit: I forgot: More organization on guides. We have bot reborn, forum, pro wiki. For news players, they are lost between all lists. I know it means a lot of work to harmonize all. And specially, it's useless to have 50 guides for same subject, and same information on different tools.
