Almost all post said no but the poll has so many yes in them. can I doubt about the results?

 

I strongly disagree the idea. It is not reasonable at all.

Talonflame coming back means, all grass type fighting type and non-talonflame resisted aggressive pokemons will have lower use rate.

The meta will be totally destroyed. No trick room, no sun, no balanced team, nothing but talon aggressive team or bulky stalls and rain. like what it was before.

 

The second reason is, if talonflame is coming back, you have to make entire gen 6 back, there is no reason for you to have gen 7 mechanics and moves but a gen 6 talonflame.

if you are pushing to gen7 , then forget about the talonflame forever.

Strongly agree with jorogumo and allsmell .We cant bring back only one gen 6 mechanic . Its either all or nothing imo . And all is not looking possible rn so ...

Imo pro has its own meta and i think it would be nice to play around with mixing gens since we have the bland meta for the past year almost and even if it doesn't work out it wont hurt to at least let it be tested out. Who knows it could add the much needed fun to the same boring teams everyone spams

I don't think it should be reverted.

Talonflame pvp meta died after gen 7 and should remain that way bringing it back doesn't make any sense at all. As others said there are many gen 7 changes that would have to be reverted as well. The pvp meta would just change to people endlessly spamming talonflame like it used to be and that's no fun at all. I think the game should just try as much as possible to keep up to date with the original pokemon's changes/updates.
