Hello trainers! I'm the creator of Mantine mount and Jellicent family Valentines forms. Inspired by @TrollDaddy Electrode Mount making of, I decided I want to do something similar. It might be interesting to write a Making of Valentines Jellicent family. Click here to check out the Electrode Mount making of. Unfortunately, I deleted most of the drafts, but I hope the writing will be enough to entertain you. THE DECISION Valentines Day was coming and as a new PRO Artist, I wanted to challenge myself to create a Valentines form Pokemon. The first step was to pick a pokemon. Which pokemon would fit well as a Valentines model? Valentines Nidoking and Nidoqueen was good because they are the same pokemon with gender differences in stats and sprites. Then I wondered if there were more pokemon with gender differences and I found a list of gender difference pokemon sprites. Jellicent family was one of them. I also noticed we didn't have female pokemon sprites in game, which was pretty disappointing but also motivating. I told the Admins I would do Jellicent family Valentines form, including female sprites, but they would have to implement all female sprites in game so it would make sense. They said they had almost everything done already, but one pokemon sprite was missing: Female Pyroar follow sprites and Small Icon. So I made them! I'm not allowed post the files here, but I can show like this: Of course I also did the Shiny version and the small Icon. THE CONCEPT Jellicent and Frillish resembles Royalty, so I thought it could be interesting to give them crowns and royalty outfit. Starting with female Frillish sprites, I googled "Princess crown" and I just didn't find anything interesting to motivate me enough to draw... Then I tried something more... modern? I searched for "Princess hat" and I ended up finding pictures like this: And I fell in love with it. The shape also covers Frillish's natural crown so well, so it was perfect. However, searching for Prince hat for male Frillish I didn't find anything interesting like the princess cone hat. I then decided to work on Jellicent and see if I have an idea for male Frillish later on. I realised male Jellicent looks a lot like the Monopoly Guy, so why not give it a moustache, a hat and a cane? I made the hat long and thin so it would match with the Princess cone hat shape and covers Male Frillish/Jellicent natural crown as well. But why the monocle on male Jellicent? Well, searching for Monopoly Guy on Google, I found this: It was amazing. I also added a little beard on Jellicent because I personally find beards sexy. With this concept, it was much easier to do male Frillish. I gave him a hat and a cane just like Jellicent's. I left the monocle out because that fits the evolution best. Female Jellicent was the most complicated. I mean, it is a female pokemon with beard. Or whatever it is around her head. I thought it would be a good idea to replace that "beard" with roses, but... I hate drawing roses, specially in pixels which is something I'm new at. So... it ended up looking like this: Basically I made one rose and Copy/Paste 5 times. Doesn' look good enough... and I didn't really like the crown either. I decided to remake it, but Wally said we needed the Valentines forms ready for the next day since he would restart the client. I needed to do something quickly... I took out the roses and just recoloured the "beard" and added some little hearts in the middle. I also searched for "Queens hat" on Google, but like... I'm in UK, so I found pictures of the Elizabeth Queen with some amazing looking hats :v It was perfect. I made my own version of the Queens hat 100% inspired on Elizabeth fashion, and I really liked it. xD When/if I become old, I will use hats like that. FINAL In the end, I added some make up on female Jellicent. I changed the colour of the mouth to a brighter red and added a heart next to each eye. On male Jellicent and Frillish I noticed some stains around their body, so I though it would be cool to change their shape to hearts. I also changed the colour of the eyes to blue with some bright dots on female Jellicent and male Frillish to give an impression of being in love. Why haven't I done it on male Jellicent and female Frillish? Honestly, I forgot and I was too lazy to change it. Let's just say female Frillish wasn't in love with male Frillish before, and now male Jellicent is not in love with female Jellicent. Hi PRO! I am the creator of the Electrode Mount. As I was cleaning up my art folders, I noticed I had lots of images from different stages of the Electrode Mount creation. I am very new to pixel art, so there was a lot of trial and error but it was extremely fun. The Electrode Mount was eventually the art that sprung me from Art Apprentice to full Art Staff on PRO. I figured I would share for anyone interested in the creation and thought process of the mount. THE DECISION Staff challenged me to create a land or surf mount. I originally started on an ambitious project that I can't share yet, but it was taking me too long. @Girassol suggested I take on something more simple, so why not an of Electrode? "A rolling ball is easy" was the thought. I agreed, but I did not want to make something cheap. Plus, PRO does not have anything like it. Every land mount either flies or has legs. CONCEPT The "still" images were very simple to create. Creating a circle and dividing it into two colors, shading it a little to fit with PRO, then adding a face is something most people with a small amount of art skills could do. Which was awesome for me, since I am new to pixel art. However, the rolling animation was where the real challenge presented itself. Most rolling images have four frames, but PRO only has three that cycle as so: 123212321. This made the mount seem like it was missing a frame. Also, the face would often sit under the character, which was strange and potentially non-pg thoughts for the UP and DOWN animations, haha. https://gyazo.com/31b753ce366bde2e41fece8b9128cd38 So I took a few days to really brainstorm for a solution for both of these. This is when @YuiFelwood, the art lead, suggested a motion blur effect with a bit of swirl! This would solve the issue with a player sitting on a face, haha. It would also really make the mount feel like you are moving fast. But I still have issues with only have three frames. How do I make it look like its actually rolling? The concept of splitting Electrode into three sections just wasn't working. Until finally @YuiFelwood suggested I just flip the two sides and to this day I can't explain why it works, but it does. And finally, I added a little dirt kick animation as you can see. Because have you ever rode your bike in the dirt? It kicks up a mess. So Electrode should too. CONCLUSION I hope you really like the final result! I will try to improve my "blogs" for future released content that I make for all of you. Please ask me any questions you have about it. K, so first of all... "and out-speeding it with Mamo earthquake" Scarf Mamoswine next scarf togekiss, great invention by the PRO community which is just as good :DDDDDDDDDD. And to all of you who think the problem is in rain; rain sucks, get over it. I would never use rain unless if it was to examine how many people would be trash enough to actually lose to it without getting haxed to death (or just hyper offense users with lacking ways to deal with rain). Now as I probably said before, the problem with manaphy is that it forces you to centralize your team building around it and once people start abusing it. Even if it is rare now you just get 1v6 swept by it unless you predict your opponent with your faster soft checks like latios (if your team isn't prepared for it that is). Obviously every team has some weaknesses but all it takes is for a good player to use it while laddering and the low ladder goons will follow and it'll end in a boring meta full of stall/semi stall (people who want to stall it out with pp and weaken it with hazards), semi stall and a bunch of rain users who just want to click click click and get rating with manaphy. The few players who don't follow the norm will just have to take the L more often just because of how the meta sucks for their favourite archeotypes. This is the worst case scenario. I'm not stupid enough to think that every noob will start spamming Manaphy rain or stall just to win but it will definately get a lot more common and I can see another idiot make a thread called "Ban chansey, it counters my entire manaphy rain team and is not balanced". So the conclusion is that Manaphy is the issue and not rain. If you're that scared of rain and want to run offense you can always run chansey offense even if it's really lame. It's been a thing on the showdown ladder for a while. Balanced teams can also just run a few walls to cover rain abusers so there aren't really any well built teams that lose to it except hyper offense which also can be somewhat adapted to face rain with. Ever since team preview has been a thing and the weather bug got fixed (I think?) we have all the tools needed to beat rain. Also, even if you do think rain is the problem, is your solution to ban an entire playstyle? No, and problems like these have been fixed time and time again in different games, battle simulators. From what I've seen rain has never been a problem. Sadly there will always be people who cry for no reason because they simply don't know how to deal with an archeotype :( Edit: Leave things be for a while and if people do start using Manaphy more frequently then it should be up for discussion on wether it deserves a ban or not among the ladder players (as even in the top 25 on both servers there are bad players, low ladder should not partake in decisions regarding bans. Omw to bump the pvp council thread).

Hi there, this guide will talk a bit what is a World quest and what you can win with it, so let's start. Next quest will be: 0.5% chance hour Discord Announcements included Content: -What is a World quest? -What do you need to participate in a World quest? -How world quest works? -Delivery -Reward -Birth island -List(know pokémons/possibilities) -Credits What is a World quest? -World Quest or "WQ", is a Event that appear with a chance of 0.5% each hour and the main objective is to caught many pokémons as possible to fill, IV requirement 80000-120000 cult's request with a time limit of 1 day (24H). To check if a world quest is active, it will appear at the top, near your party, this icon: The pokémons asked in a World Quest, are normally encounter in wild, with a tier 7, 8 and 9 with a message in game chat of the required Pokémon. Once a Player just logon without the information needed of the Pokémon required to fulfill, the only way to know it is by talking the ,Mysterious Cultist . Also, is not possible to return no-Original Trainer Pokémons and Pokémons that a player already had before world quest begun. All NPC Related with World Quest have Purple name on it. By complete a WQ , the top Icon will Disappear. What do you need to participate in a World Quest? There is no requirements needed to participate a World Quest, but is recommended to: -Complete All Regions -Complete Side-Quests -Unlock Islands and Side-Areas -Unlock Pokecenter - Train/Teleport -Complete MS Areas A player that wants to complete the World Quest Task , don´t need to talk with any NPC to start it, only to complete by deliver the Pokémon required . How world quest works? World quest, have a time limit of 24 hours in real life, but that does´t mean is the real time limit! Time to complete a WQ is variant, it will depend on all players Luck, remember, is possible to complete a world event by complete the cults IV request (IV requirement 80000-120000 ). A great advice deliver every time you can, you are always against the time! Is possible to check out how much Ivs a player have and the IVS remain to deliver by talking with a Mysterious Cultist. Delivery To deliver a Pokémon, talk a mysterious cultist , normally at any Region dock. Those are: Vermilion-Kanto, Olivine-Johto, Lilycove-Hoen,Canalave-Sinnoh. Players that once use a ticket to enter at the island, can leave and enter Birth Island till caught the Pokemon. Once caught a pokémon and player left the island, a ticket is required once more. Birth island have a chance of 50% to appear a player not caught legendary Pokémon. Those are: Second and third members of legendary trios, Lake Guardians, as well as the other Lati twin. Hi @PokeSnor I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for contacting us. After accurately checking your account, it seems like you have a total of 430 daily challenges completed. As the quest reward you of a shiny every 50 daily challenges completed, this would mean that you would take a shiny at 400 challenges completed, 450 challenges completed, 500 challenges completed, etc. Since you're at 430, it is normal to not receive any Shiny as reward but just a regular prize. Decrease the spawn rate of reaper cloth from dig spots. There is literally no Point in finding in that often when it has only 1 single use which would be the evo of Dusclops only. Also there is a free Cloth in front of the entrance to Lake Acuity, so why would we need it x-times more from dig spots ?

Dude manaphy isnt a problem inside rain its annoying? yes absolutly, outside not really. U shouldnt ask to ban manaphy, instead ban rain and we gucci, bc rain is just noneskill playstyle.

Nice work belz and thanks for sharing it. But unfortunately your valentine form Jellicent is like Impossible to catch :v , atleast for me... I would suggest that next time make a lower Tier pokemon sprite too . So that many of your fans can own your sprite -Carl Brzycki

PINKAN ISLAND QUEST ⭠ , once you have 250hours of playtime; DOCTOR QUEST ⭠ , which permit you to obtain some interesting Pokémon; EXCAVATION SITES ⭠ , which permit you to obtain some interesting Pokémon as well: SOLACEON QUEST ⭠ , that permit you to obtain valuable items such as master ball and reroll ticket. BUG CATCHING CONTEST ⭠ , that gives you a chance to obtain the exclusive Volcarona Wings and valuable item such as Master ball. You can check a complete list of the side quests by checking the PRO USEFUL LINKS. Also, it is good to note that once you finish all the regions you are now able to obtain awesome rewards such as exclusive mounts, clothes and other items by doing: PVE, which involves things like Bosses, Battle Tower, Sinnoh Underground, etc. PVE quests/tasks, such as the one listed before, permit you to gain PVE COINS. PVP, in order to compete against other players to receive awesome rewards such the opportunity to join the Top 25 Ladder Tournament every month in order to obtain epic Pokémon.
