Hello there, hope you're all doing fine. PRO has recently released Vulcan event part 2, so here is a walkthrough of the event. Before we start make sure you prepare : 1. At least 6 sitrus berries 2. A pokemon with the "Drizzle" ability (Pelipper/politoed) 3. A strong team 4. Rock smash and flash pokemon To start the event, speak to Archaeologist Dalton in Vulcanic Town.
He will ask you to find 7 pokemon with blue names scattered around the island. They are at: 1x Vulcan island Shore, 1x Vulcan cove, 1x Vulcan cave, B2F 1x Vulcan path, 2x Vulcan Forest, 1x Kalijodo Lake So next we'll be headed East, following the path to Kalijodo lake, where we will meet the first pokemon
Next we'll be going back to Vulcanic town and go south.
Keep following the path to Vulcan shore, and eventually Vulcan cave.

Finally the last pokemon is in Vulcan cave, indicated by the blue arrow from the previous pokemon.
Circles indicate rock smash After that, return to Vulcan town and speak to Dalton again. He will let you into the cavern. (At this point prepare your sitrus berries, and the drizzle pokemon. After the long trek through the Cavern, enter the temple and press the statues in this order.
Blue circles = Trainer battles Red circles = Free tm's Purple circle = Drizzle pokemon Pink square = To get to switch 5, you have to position yourself so that the rampardos headbutts you past the lava pool and sraight to 5 Switch 6 = Give the fletchling sitrus berries while following it. And if you follow everything correctly, it should lead you to the boss, Emerald. At this point, feel free to go back to town and prepare your boss team, as you're going to need it.
Emerald is a superboss, meaning no items can be used. If you lose, there will be a 24 hour cooldown before you can battle here again. This was my playthrough of the boss, so feel free to comment down below what other moves her pokemon had. Mantine - Scald, toxic, air slash Life orb Rapidash - Flare blitz, superpower, wild charge, high horsepower(Ground type move) Togekiss - Air slash, flamethrower, nasty plot Ludicolo - Hydro pump, giga drain, ice beam, rain dance Life orb Starmie - Hydro pump, ice beam, thunderbold Life orb Sceptile - EQ, focus blast, dragon pulse This was the boss team i used. 2 whimsicotts with memento, uxie sets up rocks and memento(If you don't have a uxie, feel free to substitute with another whimsicott, tentacruel sets toxic spikes, Ferrothorn sets up rocks and spikes, then set up cosmic power and calm minds with clefable. If you've followed everything in this guide correctly, you should have had no trouble completing this quest, and receiving the prize from Emerald. Congrats and enjoy your prize!
The event wings are not available as of 2020. But wait, we're not done, there is still more to find! So grab your volcanion and get ready to grab the next rewards. Apparently Emerald has butter fingers and she dropped something special somewhere. Oh this is exciting! Keep in mind we can skip straight to the location She said that she dropped it in some place similar to the temple, so let's try Ruins of Alph in Johto as that is similar to the temple.
Turns out he is traveling in his native region. That must be Hoenn, as Emerald mentioned something about Hoenn Okay, well why don't we go to mt.chimney, as that place is hot, just like mt.summer
Turns out there is a clue here, and the clue is "Emerald? I think he was looking for underground areas rather than mountains. Okay so far, he will try to be underground. No tall places. Next clue is at the end of victory road.
All he says for the next clue is referring to a crater. Alright, we've got underground, ruins of some type, and crater.. Where could that be? If you want a challenge and figure out the location by yourself, i advise you not to open the next spoiler box, but if you don't care and want the easy way out, then knock yourself out.
Just an fyi, Sootopolis was created from a meteorite, resulting in a crater. So the location must be in there, cave of origin! One of the clues also stated "underground", so let's go down, all the way down to the last floor of origin cave (the floor where you choose magma cave or aqua cave -, B3f) After that, the wings should be hidden on the floor straight left from where you came in on the ladders. There you go, have fun and enjoy your prize :) The event wings are not available as of 2020. Huge thanks to Neozeen,Split, and Char for helping me make this guide! I could not have done it without their help.5 points

Hello Fellow Players! This thread is a redo of an old post from MexicanNoob (One of my partners) where he made a video to help the community by giving Selling and Investing Tips. I believe that a lot of players can benefit from the tips that are made in the video. Below are some tips that another Member of the community (Kaminokage) had on the subject "'First, i want to add : To price check PKM, it's easy. Just calculate for each PKM how many hours it takes in average to farm it. Find an hourly wage. And with your time and the hourly wage, you have your price. So, now you know how much you have to sell, and how much you can buy, easy game" ☆ "Don't farm PKM others players already farm if you want to resell. For example: For Xmas Event, don't farm Dratini ! Everybody farm it, just buy a Dratini on Trade if you want one, price will be very low. It will cost you less to buy it than farm it." ☆ "Tip to buy a PKM : No need to lower price ! If you want a PKM, it's because you need it for PVP or collection. It's hard to find goods PKM, don't lose time because you are skinflint. Just calculate the time you will need to farm the PKM, and with the hourly wage you will know if the price is too much or not. For example: your hourly wage can be Cerulean Cave; there you can make 20k per hour without MS. If you see a PKM that will make farm 50 hours in average : 50* 20k = 1m. If the price is lower than 1m, buy it, if the price is higher farm yourself" " ---------------------------------- Thanks for reading, I Wish to improve this Guide/Tips and any more useful Ideas/Tips for anything related to selling and buying, please comment them below~ A link to the Amigos Discord Server: https://discord.gg/c3BrvY31 point

Hello, I'm a new artist and some of my sprites were released with the recent client update, including the Volcanion Mount. I've seen a bunch of people disliking it, and I don't blame them. I listed the main complaints from you about the mount: - The colors were off. - You can't see your character's face when riding the mount in front view. - The size of its head is too small compared to the body. Before I explain the process and the issues, I would like to say I was requested to do this mount in 1 day. I didn't have too much time to plan, add details and adjust the proportion. Anyway, let's go through the making of. Volcanion Mount - Making of When I do mounts or any other sprite, I first take some time to plan/imagine in my head how it would be first. Well, I didn't have time to plan first. As I said, it had to be done in one day. I basically just looked at Volcanion's picture, started moving my mouse and prayed that it would end up being a Volcanion mount. Pixel Size In PRO, all sprites are usually 64 pixels. Some pokemon follow sprites (pokemon following you in game) are 128 pixels (Gyarados, Onix, etc.). Mounts though are always 64 pixels. That means, doesn't matter the size of the actual pokemon, it must be designed inside a square of 64 pixels. You can see I designed the mount inside the 64 pixels square. I could have made it few pixels longer and wider to occupy the entire square since it is a huge pokemon. I'm not sure if this would mess up the pokemon's proportion, but it is something I can test out later and fix for the next client update. Front View In the image you can also see that the mount is hiding the characters face. Well, you know how Volcanion looks like. If you try to ride one, its huge triangular back will be in front of you. That's how the pokemon is. However, during the process, I got suggested by some staff to make the character riding the top of his back, that way the character would be visible. Well, unfortunately, that can't be done because the character template cannot be moved. That's how it is coded in PRO. The only way to make it happen was if I made the Volcanion MUCH smaller than it is already. I also noticed the head was too small compared to the body, so I even increased the size. For me, the size of the head looks fine in this one. Some people still thinks it is too small though. The head is actually bigger than its front paws. I can't make it bigger. Have a look on the original pokemon design: Colors When you compare the colors of the original design and my sprite, the Volcanion mount does look off. I'm actually still confused. I used the SAME color pallet from Bulbapedia sprite. Bulbapedia sprite | My sprite However, the Sugimori's artwork has a different tone of red, I would say a wine-red, while the Global Link artwork is a brighter red. Sugimori's artwork | Global Link arwork Maybe I should have recolored to something closer to the Global Link's one. That way it would look more "appealing" like all the legendaries should look like. But again, I was rushed to do this mount. I didn't have time to adjust/add details. Another thing that could have made the mount look off apart from the tone of red was probably the lack of shading. I did shade it well in my opinion, but the tone of red I chose for the shading was too close to the pokemon color, so it didn't look like it had shading. - which is something I would like to fix for next client update. By the way, I also made a shiny one which obviously is not obtainable, but I used a much brighter color for it. Again, I used the same color pallet from Bulbapedia sprite. Back View For the Back view, I just copy-pasted the front view one and deleted the face and paws. Also recolored the ring above the pokemon. However, unlike the front view where I designed everything in one layer (above characters layer), I used two layers (above and under chatacter layer). The pasted part was put in the bot layer. Then I designed its butt, tail and back paws in the top layer. That way the character would sit in between. Pg pls. Side View The side view could also have been done in two layers, but I decided to do it on bot layer, the opposite of the front view which was all made on top layer. I did it on the bot layer because I wanted the characters face to appear. However, I haven't done the side view entirely on bot layer. There's a little bit of it on top layer. The highlighted part is the top layer. I did that to hide the character's left arm as I wanted that arm to be on the other side of the mount. Animation Im not sure if you guys noticed, but usually the mounts animation are all the same. First sprite with both front paws going up. Middle sprite with paws standing still. Last sprite with front paws going down. There are only few mounts that doesn't follow the same model, like the Aurorus mount. It has the first sprite moving one front paw up, one front paw down. Middle stand still. Last sprite the same as the first one, but flipped horizontally. This is what I did with the Volcanion mount front and back view. I confess I was a little bit lazy to draw four paws in the side view. I actually didn't have space, so I did the side view like how the other mounts usually are. Nobody noticed it until I mentioned it though. The tail also wiggles from back and side view. Concerns To be honest, I think the Volcanion mount was a bad idea for PRO, only because of how the sprites are made. Not being able to move the character template and having to do most of them in 64 pixels does not give you freedom enough to design the pokemon with a proper structure and proportion, but I think I did a good job. I noticed the Volcanion and Rapidash mount are the same size, which is good since both pokemon are 1.7m (5'07"). Now there's also something that I would like to say about these new legendary mounts. Have you noticed that the shiny mounts have a little sparkle trial that follows the mount when it moves? The legendary mounts have something similar too. Moltres mount has little fire balls following it around, while Zapdos has some lightning and Articuno snow balls. However, the new mounts since Xerneas, if I'm correct, don't have it anymore. I know those effects can be done on Unity, which I have no idea how to use it yet, but I'm already downloading it to learn. I think these little effects are essential to make the legendary mounts look unique and could be causing people to dislike the new ones. Anyway, please give me your feedback. Let me know if you like the mount or if you have any concerns about it. What would you like me to change on it? Do you want me to recolor into a brighter red? Or the wine-red from Sugimori's artwork? Should I add more contrast on the shading? Let me know what you think! Thanks for your time. =)1 point

This was very helpful, thank you very much! I also wanted to point out that you can use a HA Seaking and set up on Rapidash who will just use wild charge :P then sweep :D Also, Ludicolo had Giga Drain. Learned that the hard way because he used it on my Seaking so I was glad I thought to put a focus sash on Seaking. Anyways, thanks again :)1 point

I apologize for the delayed response, @XanthinaRose. Great question, I am curious as well. After talking with a Forum Admin, I learned PRO forums use Xenforo. Xenforo does not provide an option to allow you to upload images from your computer on signatures. I am not sure why Xenforo does not provide this option. Unfortunately that does not fall under the scope of help I provide. Sorry I could not provide a more definitive answer. Please let me know if you have more questions or concerns regarding this topic. ~ TrollDaddy1 point

Hello @Candace I found a littke bug with your mount with the face of the pokemon ! (priority layers ?) I also give me my opinion: - 24 hours is very very short for doing a nice job → it was hard for you ; logic ! - The pokémon isn't very nice ; it's a big tank with strange forms - I agree with this problem : "You can't see your character's face when riding the mount in front view. " ; it is a little problem imo. - I also prefer a strong red like the image you linked "Global Link arwork " ; these colours are like a robot. But as i said ; still a nice job for this little time (24hrs) and a weird pokemon ♥1 point
