I want to let you know that you should more careful if something similar ever happens, taking advantage of a bug leads to a PERMANENT BAN. The smartest move is to report these events.

Sounds good, however it compromises the private information we seek to protect in appeals (one of the reasons was mencioned by G3n), especially when it comes to scams, account hacking or RMT. Another aspect to keep in mind is that not all appeals are simple as many are part of the investigations and can't be sorted out in a day or two xd. Other point to highlight is that the only person that can take your appeal is the person who punished you, this is not to make a mess.

I want to be the clearest and most respectful of course. I understand the frustration at not being able to immediately find the way to continue through the quest, and for this reason, i want to clarify some points: The guides are supposed to be a challenge for the player, which means that it will be so difficult to continue, so take the time to enjoy the event, you can work together with friends. The more difficult something is, the more rewarding it is in the end! The staff will never provide guides. This would basically destroy the main purpose of our content staff work: Mappers, Content Scripters, Story Writers, Artist, Testers, Devs, all of them contribute to make this event a reality. Although events are way different now, these changes may not be to your liking. You're always free to suggest improvements or/and share your concerns about it, always in the most respectful way possible. I also want to emphasize that the people who make guides are not staff members, therefore, they don't have access to private information nor participated in its creation. It's normal that they are missing details or have incorrect information, you're always free to support them by providing more info. Together we can do this in the best way! Well, I don't want to go into the drama but I think that all of us here should maintain a respectful attitude, we all here as members of the community deserve respect. Make sure to read and follow our forum rules as remaining with this attitude may lead to punishments. Take this as a verbal warning. You're free to create a thread under the complaint area if you feel that you were treated unfairly.

Hi everyone and welcome in the 36th Official Ladder Tournament ! This tournament is for the top 25 players of the ladder of August 2020! Please register within the next eight days! The ladder tournament will be on showdown with PRO rules! To make the tournament cross server To keep a safe log of all matches To give the option to play more different teams Ranked pvp rules apply. Please familiarize yourself with these if you have not done so already. If you disconnect, it will be counted as a loss unless your opponent agrees to a rematch. Finish the matches within the stated time: If you didn't complete your match within the stated time, the winner will be decided by coinflip. If your opponent tried to contact you and you didn't react within the stated time, you will be disqualified. -Evidence is needed in this case! You have to post the replay links to prove that you won within the given time. You will have 2~4 days per round! You can use as many Pokemon as you want and don't need to register them. You can only use Pokemon that are catchable and not banned on PRO. You have to join the ladder tournament discord, before the tournament starts. You will get the invite link, after your registration Shaymin (Land) will be allowed in our tournaments however Shaymin (Sky) remains banned. Landorus-Incarnate is not allowed in our tournaments. It's evident that this post was made to cause drama so I'm going to close it because it doesn't really serve any beneficial purpose other than trying to ridicule our staff members. All your concerns are being answered in the complaint, so stick in there. Just to clarify, complaints are private because we usually show some evidence which may include sensitive information and this is protected under our policies. If you ignore this comment and create another post with the same purpose, i will have to take some actions.

Taking into account some problems we have had with this type of events in the past, the potential way to RMT and the mayhem i'm always seeing coming, this is a big NO. I appreciate your intention to make some events for PRO but this time is denied. Also, staff is not looking for "Ban because is forbidden in showdown" comments, we want actual reasons (why it should be banned or why not, with sceneries for example). Like some persons did.

Legendaries are not necessarily stronger than other non legends, in fact they are often even worse (who knows you Regice). Also don’t expect a Latios to speed tie a Gengar, it’s pretty unlikely to have good ivs on legendaries, simply because rerolling is so expensive.

This is how our rules have always worked, punishments are based on two factors: the nature of the offense itself and the player's history. These are also divided into severity levels, and each level can be divided and treated differently. If you want it simplified, it works like in a baseball game. Let me give you an example: As you can see in this thread, we divide the infractions into 5 levels, this is ascending and depends on the damage it can does to the game and the community. Severity 1 - S1 includes every minor infractions such as inappropriate behaviour, minor toxicity, misuse of the official channels, etc. If the staff considered that you have broken a S1 infraction, it can result in small mutes (normally for seconds or some minutes). In the same way if the player insists on committing S1 infractions, it can lead to quietbans as stated in the post. Severity 2 - S2 includes infractions involves heavier things, we normally seek to stop so as not to affect third parties. Hate speech, racism, staff impersonation, many S1 infractions in a short period of time are just some of the S2 infractions Regarding your question, we log the severity 2 infractions in a space dedicated to that. If we consider that a player has broken the rules at this level for the first time, they normally will be punished for a couple of days, but if some time later he commits another infraction of this level of severity, the punishment days are increased and they can be leading to temporary ban or permanent ban if are repeated for the enough quantity of times. If a player uses an alt account to repeat an infraction, we punish both, alt and main accounts. S-3, S-4, S-5 don't include chat infractions. They have another nature. Do you have any question?
