The floor James is on has one of the computers, but it is randomized between Jessie and James. Can you try getting to the computer Jessie is blocking and seeing if that’s the correct one? For future reference, happiness evolutions will trigger when the Pokémon reaches the 255 value. So, to trigger the evolution again, you must lower the happiness and have it reach 255 again. The shiny stone inside every excavation site does, in fact, have a chance at spawning a shiny Pokémon, while the normal rocks have no chance of this. Would you mind linking me the page that you quoted so I can correct it?

Hello @Titaniaha. My apologies for the inconvenience. Have you triggered the quest by attempting to enter Eumi Island Theme Park? The receptionist should stop you from entering, which triggers the beginning of the quest. If you haven’t done so, please try that and then return to New Mauville.
