You can hunt a Charmander in Cinnabar or buy one from trade chat after 4th badge. You can also start on the other server with the same account and choose Charmander. You could also create up to 4 accounts (the allowed limit) and choose Charmander in one of them. I still kinda agree a reset progress button in dashboard could be nice.

I recently brought this up in the PRO Official Discord as I was taking pictures for this part to do the Walkthrough guide in the future. The issue with the gym is that sometimes the switches do not trigger properly, sometimes you need to press them twice. Sometimes they also substitute the wrong barriers and they replace multiple ones at the same time. In theory, after you defeat him, there is a bug (a user had this bug recently and he had to get help in froums too) where the first barrier is sometimes not deactivated by the first trainer. I am guessing the issue is either the first switch, the trainer or the switches themselves. Try to talk to the trainer and the switch multiple times until a barrier is disabled. If it does not work, wait until a Staff member can answer you, as the only thing I can do is give you that answer and give you the correct barrier spreadsheet so you can try and check if it's right. I don't understand when the switches work properly or not, so I'd love to read a Staff response, I'm curious about it. Theoretical order in which you have to press the barriers.

After you obtain the 7th badge and help out in Lake Acuity next to Snowpoint, you have to first talk to the Grunt in front of the Galactic Headquarters, from who you'll obtain the password to enter this area. It's only to deal a bit more damage while you try to get Silver Wind or Ominous Wind boosts, but the relevant part is if you decide instead that your fourth move becomes Giga Drain to heal against the boss (if you're Taunted and can't continue healing or setting up). It's not super important though, but also the fact that if you get a good Venomoth in all stats except Atk, you can use him both as a Baton Passer and a Sweeper in the same set (Baton Pass, Quiver Dance, Roost, Attacking move). If you saw in the middle of a boss battle that you can't continue sweeping, you could just Baton Pass the boosts onto something else and pray that it works. (Editing extra reason: if you get one so good that it can work for both roles, you will not need to hunt two, one per role, but just one that can do both)

Algerie, you only need to head to the cave southwest of the new hole location and you'll take 100 steps to cross it to find the dig spots. You don't need to walk more than that.

What if we gave the choice of using pokedollars (or just only being able to rent with pokedollars)? It could be a decent new money sink to try out PvP teams for both experienced players and newbies. It might be hard to balance prices, but it could be interesting enough to try. I thought more about the idea: Each rental pokemon costs 20k to 50k to create. You can create up to 6 rental pokemon every day. After 24 hours, these pokemon disappear, and you have to wait until all of the pokemon have disappeared to create more of them. You cannot trade them to anyone nor use them against bosses or other pve places. You can only have them in your pokecenter and they'll either disappear or go back to your pc if you try to leave the pokecenter. Their ivs cannot surpass 28 per stat and (maybe) you have to get their held items. They also have no PP up in their moves.

Do you have any Escape Ropes in your bag? If you can get someone to come where you are, you can send them a battle request and log out while in battle :) you'll be teleported to your last visited pokecenter. If you find no friends to help you out, you can wait for a Staff response. (How did you even get there?)

You need to gamble them first in order to be able to spend them on stuff.
