Returning player, ign LRxRaziel
Ichibann replied to Lrxraziel's topic in Player Introduction and Partings
Welcome back. Here's the change logs thread if you wish to know everything that was added over the years. Good thing to note is that mega's are as close as they ever were to come into the game. A public testing client should be available very soon to try out the new update. I would also recommend that you join the official discord server to be aware of every single update regarding the game. Good luck! -
Shouldn't be more difficult, but changing name requires a manual approval from a staff member. Correct me if I'm wrong but changing server should be done automatically without these interactions. I agree that the price could be reduced a bit or giving a free name change, but not to 100 coins in my opinion. It's possible that the price was made to 500 coins so that people don't change name every month.

I concur that a more flexible window regarding cooldown is an option that would ease the transition to the new system. However, it was proposed by Eaty to introduce a fixed & global cooldown every week (Here) and I personally believe that this solution is the most suitable 1+ for the idea though

What an amazing introduction video. I remained interested throughout the entire guide even though I had no interest in mapping beforehand. Good job!

Returning Player back to PRO!
Ichibann replied to Ameryllrowe's topic in Player Introduction and Partings
Welcome back! I hope you'll enjoy your time in PRO just as you did back then. Good luck! -
Completely agree with the overall idea. I'm personally more in favor of adding a prefix to keep the sub-forum active, but both options works.

Hello! @Yashashwi200 @AlwaysLate This matter is known by the developers. Simply put, just know that it currently cannot be invited to new servers. Quoting Cames: " Reborn bot cannot be invited in new servers due to technical issues" (I sadly cannot provide you the specific reason since the situation is out of my domain and goes beyond my technical knowledge) We are restricted to two options; utilize the private message function or make use of the PRO discord channel/another discord where it's already accessible. Even though the answer might make you unhappy, I hope that your concerns were at least answered. Be sure to keep an eye in the #announcements in the PRO discord to know if the issue is ever fixed. Have a good day!

Correct, it isn't shiny locked. Agreed on the entire thread, pretty much all explained already. +1

I'm not against a more flexible zoom than the one we have currently, but against the overall idea of bringing the complete staffview back Mostly because of this point, explained here; A better zoom, that does not interfere too much with the content team and offers players a decent variety of options to zoom in/out would be optimal in my opinion

It was most likely pointed out to illustrate that the variety of high tiers pokemon in every site further enhances the issue mentioned. In situations where you only encounter 5 high tier pokemon per excavation run for example. You could fail to select the correct nature for each, due to the different possible outcomes. The sync chance is alright and doesn't need any changes - it would just be more interesting to encounter more of these high tier pokemon. Nevertheless, I agree with most of the thread. Some item's could be replaced, such as those mentioned.

Petition Against the Recent Boss Changes and the Nerfs on Rewards
Ichibann replied to Xanthinarose's topic in Suggestions
I wanted to give my opinion on this topic since I refrained from sharing it in the other thread. I guess you could say I'm fairly experienced in bosses in PRO from doing them over the past few years. There are honestly "good" arguments and "bad" arguments on both side, I'm in favor of the boss limit but in disagreement on how certain aspects around it were handled. I have no problem with changes, nerf, or re-balance whatsoever. It's completely fine if they plan to introduce more content around it. Wanting to reduce inflation is also correct even though there were arguably better ways to reduce inflation. One(s) that did not involve restricting your own content. My biggest issue is that we barely get any information out of it as mentioned by Rose. It feels like there's a lack of valuable information given to us; even though I completely understand that not everything needs or can be shared. A minor example is to have confusing announcements such as "some bosses were tweaked" (reference) without having a single clue or hint on what exactly was changed. The problem is especially when a boss team/reward is changed without any announcement on it. We had no announcement towards certain nerfs/buffs that were done recently. A simple message mentioning that the battle bot team was changed or that Shary and Shaui rewards were reduced would have been fine, it's not a leak, it's just about informing the player of considerable changes without going too much in-depth. I will mention two arguments in here which I'm not especially in favor, not here to create drama or anything, just looking to share my point of view : A boss is, in most cases, a challenge that rewards the players. Making a hard boss give 10k and no valuable rewards nullify the whole point of it. This is an MMO, where farming is encouraged and rewarded, bosses should give valuable rewards. Gaining 200k per boss run is not valuable, transit pass costs 300k per month already. You can still have fun while fighting bosses. Removing all the decent rewards from bosses would just ultimately lead them to be dead content. It's obviously correct information that this player would gain millions, but I doubt there's anybody that was doing all bosses on 4 accounts due to the sheer amount of requirements. Even if there was, it's a substantial amount of time dedicated to bosses and the person should be somewhat rewarded. I do agree with the rest of your argument(s) in that message though. Just a few examples : George -> Minimum 200 hours requirement (Legendary beast quest needed) Khlover, Officer Jenny -> Minimum 250 hours requirement (Pinkan island needed) Saphirr -> Minimum 200 hours requirement (Heatran quest needed) Steven -> 200 hours requirement 3x Guardians -> 200 hours requirement (Legendary beast quest) Battle bot -> Need MS (Not major, but still worth mentioning.) Ash Westbrook -> 500 hours requirement A person that rushed the story on his alt to gain the Sinnoh champion title will be able to do around 29 bosses out of 47 (the rest needing quest, hours, or dex requirements). It's not enough to fulfill the limit of 20 per week and therefore your run is somewhat unoptimized (Again, no problem here). That's around 1 million per 2 weeks in monetary reward (Exaggerated and not entirely accurate) and would be around 1,4m with a full boss run (40 bosses per 2 weeks). In my opinion, the limit is fine as it is and doesn't need more nerfs, arguable for some other PvE activities, and not necessarily my point here. -

finished Boss tier list and rewards - Updated on 21/08/2020
Ichibann replied to Ichibann's topic in NPC Battle Guides
Corrected, thanks. Wasn't correctly re-added when copy-pasted. A little update in the meantime, it seems like Shary and Shaui received a slight nerf on her money reward. The double boss stays to S+ tier currently so that I can gather more data on the range, but will most likely be moved to S tier due to this nerf. -
finished Boss tier list and rewards - Updated on 21/08/2020
Ichibann posted a topic in NPC Battle Guides
Post is currently broken after some forum changes - Will most likely have to do a new one when I have the time Welcome to my Unofficial tier list for bosses! This isn't a guide on how to beat bosses but an attempt to classify them by rankings. Due to the new changes, it was decided to make a thread based on the one by idkup. The top 15-20 spot of a boss list should be consistent for everyone. Choosing the last remaining bosses can be an entangled task if you're hesitating or confused. It especially becomes harsh when you're new to the variable PvE content of PRO. This is mostly to help people who are confused and want to weight and compare the multiple rewards Every changelog is posted at the bottom of the thread. Ranking S tier - The best of the best. Those are bosses that have an insane or very good pool of pokemon along with excellent items and money rewards. Do not skip those. A tier - Generally the most common bosses, which are worth doing as well. B tier - Suboptimal bosses compared to the other tiers; fighting them is not recommended, unless the goal is to fetch a certain reward. It could also be worth fighting them if you don't have access to enough bosses from the other tiers. The rankings were chosen based on 3 principal criteria, in that order; 1. Pokemon pool available (3rd reward and random reward) 2. Item's reward available 3. Money reward A good pokemon pool is better than a good money reward in my opinion. This could be showcased in certain situations. Tier List S+ Medusa and Eldir Lance Battle bot Urahara Entei Guardian S Shary and Shaui Terminator Tigerous Spectify Logan Saphirr Pewdie and Diepy Professor Oak Koichi Steven Bruno Professor birch Link A+ Officer Shamac Morty Letrix Neroli Maribela Chuck Lt.Surge A Brock Brock - Located in Diglett's Cave Notable rewards: Aerodactyl, Kabuto, Omanyte Rare candy, Stardust, Star piece, Dome/Helix Fossil, Old Amber, Nugget, Big nugget Decent money pool (20-40k) Professor Elm Toothless Officer Jenny Ash Westbrook Klohver Suicune Guardian Raikou Guardian Gingery Jones Erika Jessie & James Naruto Fanboy A- Misty Naero B+ Lorelei Xylos B Sage Pumpkin king MISSING DATA (FOR NOW) Professor Birch. Missing Item and pokemon rewards. Maribela. Missing Item and pokemon rewards. Officer Jenny. Missing Item and pokemon rewards. Please note that the reasoning behind the ranking is currently partly subjective due to the lack of different points of view. It will be updated following balances and changes that are made. Feel free to comment on your disagreement towards a ranking and I will thoroughly explore your suggestion(s). Changelogs Credits to waleed1301, Splittie for the help with some information. Credits to the wiki workers who worked their sweat to ensure that most of the information is correct. Credit to idkup for the overall inspiration for the guide.- 11 replies

With the recent upgrade (10 to 20), I'm really in favor of this change. The number of PvE coins gained now is quite nice and bossing feels less like a chore personally. Quite honestly, the amount you'd get in a complete boss run was really good, around 1.5m for a 4-hour run? Not even counting the number of items & pokemon you would have gotten which can add to a higher number. There are 47 bosses that counts towards the limit in the game currently, you still get to do 40 a month which is pretty good. I agree that the change seemed somewhat rushed, but they did announce that balance would be applied. The inflation would be regarding future content that would reward the player. (https://imgur.com/TWebMqA.png). Note: Restricting to an IP address just wouldn't work. What if two people in the same house want to do bosses? VPN's are so common and changing your IP is a child's work, this solution wouldn't really fit to limit inflation.

While I do agree that BMS chance could be somewhat upgraded, 50% is way too much. A different or time change for the timing on the BMS would be interesting for 16/18 hours imo, assuming it wouldn't count when the player is offline. I doubt that the majority of players using BMS right now amount to 24 total hours of hunting in a 3-day span. 24 hours is a little bit too much.

Happy to see you finally pushed yourself to express your disagreement - The thread covered my biggest issues with the island; it's pretty unfair to small and PvE focused guilds. I don't see why this feature can't let PvE and PvP co-exist in an MMO where there's a big player base for both types of content. As voiced in the other thread, there are more realistic options that would profit us both. Bosses are always welcomed and a nice addition to the game. It's a problem when it's the only major and permanent update for PvE content. It can get stale and it feels like we're getting tossed aside recently

Hello, sadly in most cases refunds like those aren't issued for server crashes, it would be considered unfair to those who weren't refunded in the past for the same situations. The good news is that Jackson is fixed to a 2 hours cooldown in Mount Silver rather than 7 days like normal npc's, so you should be able to re-fight him very soon. Hope all your issues were answered. Have a good day!

denied world quest non legendary pokemon should hold nature or iv reroll
Ichibann replied to Luohan's topic in Suggestions
It will be a +1 as well for me. Right now the wq doesn't feel rewarding if you get a pseudo legendary or even if you have no legendary pokemon available. Adding some rng's to different holdable rewards would certainly help to motivate these players to participate in the world quests. I wouldn't mind getting a life orb or another decent item because at least I would get something useful rather than another pokemon to release and feel like I wasted hours for nothing. It's understandable that rng is a part of the game, but some other activities in-game follow the somewhat same concept and work pretty well in my opinion (BCC for example). Hunting for a certain amount of time and get a decent reward if you win, which is not the case for a part of the players here. -

Hello! It's technically possible but you'll need to transfer from gold to silver by using the dashboard. It's the only way to do it since there is no immediate cross-server trade. When connecting on the dashboard you'll see this : [spoiler=Dashboard] Once you access this tab, you'll be free to transfer your current character onto the other server and be able to trade there. It's worth noting that you get a free server transfer every 30 days. If you'd like to transfer back again before the 30 days window expire you will need to pay 100 coins (From the coin shop) for each transfer. Hope your question has been answered, have a good day!

Hello, The number of 510 is correct, it's the maximum amount of total effort values that are obtainable on a single pokemon. Since the generation 6 (Or the X and Y games) you can also get a maximum of 252 per stats, with the 510 total still applying. Hope your issue has been answered, have a nice day!
