No "event" produced this. Its been a problem for far longer then the current active Valentine event. Having too many wild battles at the same time, would crash the server. And Headbutt, Excavation and Dig Spots all produce a wild battles ocassionally. So they were temporarily disabled to lessen the total amount of wild battles occuring, in hopes to prevent the server from crashing too often. Though, it came out of nowhere and the only location this was posted, was on their Discord server. Also, its wrong that "it has been ridiculously long time with no information given about it". The last information about this was 9 days ago, that's fairly new. (see SS in the spoiler below) Also, if you are not aware, several CCs have already replied to bug reports, questions and more on this forum with why they were disabled. Also, they specifically mentioned where to find information and announcements related to this. Which are on their Discord server, and in the #Announcement channel. Here are some SS with new information regarding this, if you were not yet aware or did not catch this already elsewhere.

I believe that it should be retained as is and not change how it works. Why? Becasue I like the way PRO currently is. If you want a more in-depth explaination, then that would be... Because if anyone had access to it, then it would no longer be a interesting and exclusive feature for some individuals. I think that special event-form sprites for legendaries are a much better alternative to discuss over shiny sprites.

I guess this is the strongest -1 I've given to any suggestion so far. So you should be happy too have achieved that. I've seen communities and other games who resorts to use this despicable method/feature. Its a disgrace to see it even being a thing in this world. I know that money can buy almost anything for the right amount in this world... But that is absurd. I am glad that PRO has not yet stooped down to that level of despair. There are some sins that just cannot be cleansed through money, sadly. Also, Prehax is right. I've myself seen my fair share of Ban Appeals elsewhere (not on PRO). The amount of honesty a person can give, is what could determine whether or not a second chance is given. If you were rejected, there is a good chance that you were not 100% honest with either yourself or your infraction(s). -
If I understood you correctly... Sorry in advance. You want to either remove the Pokemon spawns temporarily from dig? Or to enable it again? Or do you want to not remove the spawns and then have the pokemon appear, but not engage in a auto-battle, unless its manually triggered? Or are you refering to excavations and not dig? Sorry, I tried to understand you to the best of my abilities, since this was basically all over the place. Regardless, if you are suggesting these to improve dig spots, then I would have to -1 this. I mean, if someone were to dig you up from your "home", would you just stand there without having the natural instinct to attack? I would certainly not. And I understand that new players would resort to use Dig Spots for a good money income at the start of their PRO journey. I also used to do weekly dig spots runs before it was disabled, simply for money, items or for Fossils. But, I think they've soon found a solution to fix this. Since the bug lies elsewhere, not with the actual Dig Spots. Regardless, auto-battling is a good feature and they should not remove this, even if it is a temporary solution. I am sure that the devs could solve this in a better way, then to have to disable auto-battling when finding a Pokemon through dig. Furthermore, just spawning the pokemon on the map would just resort to more problems later on. If you find multiple, but never engage in a battle with them it could start causing issues. Anyway. I'm not entirely against finding a solution to make Dig Spots, Headbutt and Excavation enabled again as soon as possible. But, I don't think that what you suggested would make much sense and help resort the server crashes, regardless if its temporary. Sometimes PRO makes some weird decisions and we just gotta live with that.

I don't necessarily think it should be exclusive to PvP players alone, in form of it being purchaseable for PvP coins. While its true that many players on PRO participate in PvP and grinds all day until their very life cease to exist. But, believe it or not there still exist players among us who only focuses on PvE (i.e bosses, events, etc) or don't PvP at all. So I personally think that by making such a major feature PvP exclusive, it could damage or split PRO in a bad way. Although, with all that being said, regardless if it isn't PvP exclusive. I'm still gonna -1 this. Simply for the reason that I believe PRO is better off with how it is now.

+1 It would be nice with some variations or twist up of the current one or a completely new one. The only reason i ever played the Bug Catching Contest was to get the exclusive wings for the 1st place and x points earned. As well as for Genesect when I reached the requirements for that. And I guess now just for the mega stones, altho I haven't bothered with that just yet. But, to change up something with this. Instead of having 3 different types depending on the in-game time. What about having it randomize each day of the week? Example: Monday is Grass, Tuseday is Fighting, Wednesday is Grass, Thursday is Ghost, Friday is Fairy + Psychic, etc. It would select one of the types to hunt for or in some rare cases 2, and then have a premade spawn set for each with Pokemon ranging from tier 2 to 8? Regardless, I hope at some point they'll add an additional catching contest, which are a bit more exciting.

I don't ever recall calling you for lazy, nor being nasty towards you. Just simply pointed out that if someone want to use such methods, then that would be in fact indicate someone as "being lazy". I phrased it in such a way that it would refer to the person using such method. Sorry if you misunderstood my intentions. And, by "[...] then idk what kind of games you've played in the past." would refer to you personally, since grinding is a part of any games. Which is why I questioned your decision. Nothing to get upset over imo. For future reference, just report my post and don't provoke or try to start a flame war by being intimidating back. If I was someone else, I might have taken this as a provocation. But, I am not a bad person. If you want evidence, see my comments on other suggestions and then re-evaluate your impression of me. I have not once not given out contructive feedback to someone else's suggestion, nor just -1 without a good reason. Constructive feedback is a way to improve and see how a suggestion can sway both ways, even if I give it a +1. Now, to respond to your arguments. Then you can portion this out. You're not limited to doing everything in one day and its a excellent reason to come back to play tomorrow. Many as you say don't have the "time". But that doesn't mean one can shorten this, by removing a entire grind portion of the game. I think that its a great way for PRO to make it grindy, so one can return the next day to either complete or continue the grind. Regardless if its 6 Pokemon or 600. Money can't buy you everything, just like in real life. You can set requirements for interacting with a NPC, so unless you have all badges, the NPC won't offer the service. And you would want players to be able to access it from any region, just like with Psychic Marina (Reroll IVs or Nature for Legendaries). -
Well, as far as for PC. Most of the NPCs would rediscover you and battle you regardless of logging out(Locks you in place). So they fixed the old bug where you could logout and login to escape a battle on PC. But I guess they didn't fix it for other devices then. The only ones I noticed that was not affected by the previous fix on PC, was the NPCs that was spawning and patrolling a set path around a map. They would simply reset to their default position and you could avoid them by relogging and observe their move pattern. But this only applied to the guards patrolling inside the Matsuki Castle, during the final stages of Kaldeo Quest.

-1 from me. PRO is suppose to be grindy in every aspect, and that applies to raising happiness too imo. Regardless if its a level 100 or not. Grinding for happiness is a part of what makes PRO differ from other games. If you are that lazy... that you would resort to pay money for max happiness, then idk what kind of games you've played in the past. But I can agree that it is frustrating to raise the happiness of a level 100 Pokemon,.. HOWEVER, it just takes 30 more minutes of your life. Honestly, and that's nothing in comparrison to other grindy aspects of PRO (i.e spawn rates of a tier 9 hunt) or a WQ. The only thing I can see this as, is a decent-money drain, but then it would be something that costs 50k+, otherwise this would be completely pointless. And to have a NPC stationed in every dock city (Vermillion City, Olivine City, Lilicove City, Canalave City, etc) -
-1 Well, they merged Red, Blue and Yellow into the two current servers back in the days. So I don't see a reason why they should merge once more. Furthermore, its better to have two environments instead of one large one.

Its mentioned here in this post â–º READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A SUGGESTION! under "Potentially Implemented Suggestions" section. But it seems like it never became a thing or that other suggestions took priority and that this was most likely not possible at the time.

+1 I agree that they need to reword some battlelog status events. As is, its fine. But newer users, as you mention would have a better experience with it imo. Even for veteran players, this could be somewhat useful. Since not everyone has the brain capacity to remember everything about any Pokemon.

Just some paragraphs for why I decided to suggest this. Before you start reading this suggestion... I just want to say that this might never even be considered. This is just my own twist to a already suggested idea to just boost the likelihood of it being interesting enough for the community. Because its such a large feature, I guess the entire PRO playerbase would have to +1 this for it to even be considered. It's also such a large task that the developers would probably never even consider adding it either, regardless of the popularity it may recieve. So please keep that in mind when you start reading this suggestion... Buy your own house on PRO! (Flex your superiority complex like never before!) In short, be able to buy a house in a fixed location with a pre-made housing template. And you can buy additional facilities. This house would have a pre-made house template (examples found below), with unique facilities you can buy and add to your bought house. Some house features: You can set different visitor status for the house. (A filter with multiple options, e.g friends-only, guild+ friends-only, etc) [Still thinking about this one] Have different ranks for visitors (Friend, VIP, Co-Owner etc) with different benefits within the house. [Still thinking about this one] A entire guild could buy a single unique template house, to make it their "homebase" of sorts. Flex your powers and for the first time have your own location on PRO you can show-off. How I reached this idea for those interested in that trivial stuff (see the spoiler below) I will come clean about this, it has some cons: Some pros too though: Some example house templates + its unique facility options (These are just some random examples) These will include some housing templates and some interesting facilities I think would fit with the different housing templates. There are currently no artwork to make it more appealing. So hope text is enough to sway your heart for now. Open the spoiler below for some examples. So yeah. If you want to see something like this on PRO. You better +1 this and tell all your friends and have them also +1 this too. Do note that this is a suggestion and nothing more. I accept any constructive critism, but please follow the forum rules at all times. And I hope that people have suggestions of their own to add to this. So that everyone can participate and improve it.

Okay. Let me make it simple. Developers have a lot more to do then the other roles that you mentioned have. It might be hard to understand a developer's work, but its not as easy as it sounds, especially on this scale.

One thing is for these mentioned roles to do their jobs and then deliver quickly. But then we have the workload for the developers for this suggestion. Which is on an entirely different level then the rest.

-1, but could be a +1 if the suggestion is improved a level. While this is a quite a interesting suggestion alone, don't get me wrong. But the common player would not find this interesting enough, to make it worth the effort that it would take to implement something on this level. I am thinking about collecting suggestions similiar to this in one place and then add my own twist to it. So hope its okay if I use this as a base template for it.

And why they decided to go for a similiar filter like the one Discord has and not add filters based off user input. Well, you can roll the IVs back to the previous one for I think 50.000. So you're not that unlucky, since this feature was added. However, if this was two years ago... You'd be uninstalling the game for sure at that point.

+1 Bring them back, but make them more unique! 5% is fine for EXP, but what if we got an additonal 5% money rewarded too? Or something like an 5% additional chance to encounter a H.A? (Won't stack with an active BM) There are lot of cool things to include for small active bonuses like these. And I believe they should also perhaps consider having them at random times as well, and not just when a new event is live.

Here are some good constructive feedback to improve your guide @supertrainers Since I still had not done the new side-quest for this year's valentine event... I know, I'm late. Can't dedicate time I sadly don't have. Anyway, I decided to follow your guide and see how well it was. And well, I did finish the quest without problems, so you get a point for that. So, here are some good pointers to help improve this guide. - You should give a better impression that you would need to catch 10 Luvdiscs in order to craft the letters. The reasoning for this is that my first impression was that there might be several ways to obtain them. If you change up the following line: To something like this: Which also connects with my second suggestion, regarding how to hunt them. You should consider changing this: To this - to make the requirements visible: As for the locations and how this works. I would suggest that you include the fact you can only do one letter/location at a time. Although I personally hate that they didn't allow you to accept all of them and then go to each respective destination, instead of having to return each time to get a new one. But I guess this is the best way to make it flow better with the objective. And that's pretty much it for suggestions to improve the guide. Well, I do have a question for you actually. Can I use the Screenshots you provided in this guide on PROWiki to complete the page with this quest? Otherwise I will find another option, since BadContent left the quest section they started half-done. So, I'm being a nice person cleaning up after them, so others will know what letter they are refering too.

The following comment is souly based off what I've heard from other developers on PRO from comments on similiar topics, and from my personal experiences being a hobby coder. Just changing the GUI a tiny bit is not as easy as people would have it to be. Developers would need to draw whatever the artists create into the existing GUI, thereafter code the actual feature/function. And hope that it all turns out as it should, without causing issues elsewhere. With the code being all spaghetti right now from the developers taking over from the previous developer, I've heard that they're changing/converting large chunks of code each day. And to begin messing with unstable and or unfamiliar code, with different coding languages involved is a dangerous path to tread on. Just the slighest mistakes can cause issues elsewhere in the code or in the worst case, crash the server over time. My personal opinion on why they still have not implemented this. If they still haven't changed that part of the code, its only natural that they would leave it alone for the time being. But if they have changed it and are familiar with it, there must be other more important issues/tasks that takes priority right now, unfortunately. Well, to confirm this and hopefully get it resolved, let me tag @Shaolan and @Eaty. Why? Because they are cool, in a cool way. I am sure they or someone else on the dev team can confirm whether or not this is a correct.

Fair enough fair enough. Well, stalling has been worse in this game before, believe it or not. But they did bring up some great countermeasures to make sure they can't stall forever. But, hopefully stalling won't ever be the longest running meta. Well, not that I am into PvP on PRO. It doesn't pique my interests sadly. So I'm not gonna go into details. If you play for fun, why not queue for Unranked matches then? Then you don't have to worry about such trivial stuff like this there.
