Not sure what everyone's thoughts on this are, but I for one really enjoy seeing all the announcements, including shiny Pidgey, summer Wingull etc. Is there any possibility that all event/shiny encounters are displayed by default, but to add an option to hide common encounters for the players that find it a bit spammy?

It's because you left the area without speaking to the NPC last time. You'll need to speak to the NPC before the next contest starts to fix this.

I think it would be a huge QoL improvement if it would be possible for a .CSV file to be able to be dumped from the CDN or game client with the following possibilities in mind: 1) Dex data (Pokemon species with the status of the seen, caught and evo data) for your own account. 2) Box data (Short summary in a similar format that you're able to copy from the preview in game) for your own account. See below for an example: Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite Level: 100 Jolly Nature Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 0 Def / 0 SpA / 0 SpD / 252 Spe IVs: 31 HP / 31 Atk / 24 Def / 9 SpA / 30 SpD / 29 Spe - Dragon Dance - Stone Edge - Crunch - Earthquake With point 1 in mind, it would be very easy to create a excel tool to track dex completion. I'd be very happy to develop such a tool, which I'm sure many users will appreciate, seeing as the dex tracking is very manual at the moment. This can incorporate various metrics such as "x" amount of Kanto/Johto pokemon caught, etc. For point 2, this could be very helpful in keeping track of Pokemon for instances where accounts are used as sort of a guild bank.
