BATTLE TOWER GUIDE - INFO/BOSSES/REWARDS/STRATEGY Hello everyone, my names McSchitter of Scarlet and I am here today to go over the expansion to the PRO universe, BATTLE TOWER! The Battle Tower is a ultimate boss battle royale where you will go head to head with 10 bosses whose difficulty increases with room number. After defeating all ten bosses, you will have the opportunity to battle Cynthia and with each boss defeated your rewards grow. When you arrive in the Fight Arena, just North-East of the PC you should see the entrance to the Battle Tower area shown: 2) Continue North through the area (there is a PC to the far orth-West corner of the area) until you reach a tall building which is the Battle Tower. The area does not appear to have anything notable from my experience as none of the NPC's did anything: 3) Once inside the Battle Tower, we can now cover the various NPC's in the lobby area: NOTABLE NPC's: [spoiler=NPC's] 1) Registration Officer - This is the person to talk to so that you can register to battle in the 2nd floor of the Battle Tower! To register you must pay a 15K REGISTRATION FEE! *PLEASE NOTE*: There is a 4 DAY COOLDOWN upon completion of a Battle Tower Run! (not 100% sure about losing to any of the bosses but I assume it is the same, let me know) 2) Reward Distributor - Upon winning at least 1 battle (it takes skill to not beat room 1) and onward, upon finishing in the second floor you can speak to this NPC to OBTAIN YOUR PVE COINS and other loot! 3) PVE Coin Master - This is where you redeem you sweet sweet loot, and wow is it some insane loot! The currency used here is PVE COINS and let's break down these rewards next. 4) PvE Coin Apprentice - Offers for sale 1 time use items mostly for PvP and Honey REWARDS SHOP: [spoiler=Rewards] 1) SYNCABLE POKEMON - This means you can try to SYNC the nature of these reward PKMN and BMs are claimed to work in these encounters. When you choose a PKMN the NPC will ask if you are ready and if you say yes the encounter will start! They appear to change frequently so you will have to check for yourself what is available. They all cost 50 coins to battle each. 2) REROLL TICKETS - With these tickets you can either (depending on which of the two you have) RE-ROLL a legendary's NATURE or IV's! As a little introduction to them, the bosses widely vary in difficulty based on room number and must be done in order from left (room 1) to the right. You HEAL after every battle, but you CANNOT switch PKMN. You CAN log out between battles but not during one. THESE BOSS NPC's CAN VARY FOR EACH PLAYER NOTE: When you walk in front of any boss other than Cynthia, you will begin battling! A strong strategy that I see working for a lot of teams is plenty of stall options, weather denial/advantage, and sweep options of 1 or 2 PKMN (two may be safer when it comes to randomness of Cynthia's PKMN). I will be updating with all the different PKMN she may have so you can prepare accordingly in the following spoiler list below (Please comment to me about PKMN I have not added and the lineup and order used by Cynthia!). Below is an example of my battle with her. There may be a pattern to which PKMN come out, order, and combinations. ARCEUS MOVES MAY CHANGE WITH SET (unconfirmed!) Strategy: IF YOU HAVE ANY WEEZING(not for metagross, save him for setup after), EELEKTROSS, OR ROTOM, USE IT AS YOUR OPENER (UPDATE: EARTHQUAKE MAY HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE OPENERS)! Levitate + Ground weakness = SUPER sad mega metagross and Mega Salamence! Also, WATCH for ARCEUS physical SD set! Maybe use Mandibuzz for that (pretty good for Skarmory set too). The rest is smart gameplay or just reviving Excadrill until you sand rush sweep her whole team! GL and bring supplies!!!! Oh and do yourself a favor and play the Sinnoh Region Champion Battle music while you do this for a buff to your confidence, GL! Team Notes: During my various runs I have found the most versatile team to run to the one shown here. Klefki with thunder wave and screens support is a powerful emergency tool to deal with stubborn situations thatll require lots of reviving but with RNG klefki can definitely cut down on the amount you use. The pelipper I have is on offensive rain setter which speed runs things leading up to Cynthia which is very beneficial to have along with the kingdra for swift swim. The weezing is in my opinion the most helpful levitate mon with toxic spikes. Intimidate impish gyarados can be used for helpful attack cuts in combination with Klefki is neuter dangerous setup and megas of Cynthia and can have setup as well which is nice. Ferrothorn is a safety option with good tools in hazards, protect, leech seeds, and iron barbs. I can sometimes never need revives which is very hard to find a team that is capable of that but the team does require some thinking due to RNG changing the scenarios quite frequently. I know there are a lot of people who got this same reward. There is also a rare tier reward drop that USED TO drop the Kyogre Mount but has since been changed and removed. So if you fail at any boss, your coins add up to total number of defeated foes and 25 PvE coins for full completion I was very excited to make my very first guide for the community and I hope I did a good job as I have not been a member of forums for any of the games I have played. Suggestions for the Battle Tower Hello guys. Akalli and I decided to think about possible changes for the new introduced Battle Tower, that can or should be changed in our opinion. We think that the Battle Tower is a really good implementation, but some things should be changed. We would like to hear your guys opinion about the stated options down below, and if you have any changes or ideas for them, please let us know. 1. Things that should be changed: - Removal of Legendary PvP Mounts from the random rewards of the boss "Cynthia": We think that some of the PvP rewards should only be obtainable by doing PvP, and not by doing PvE like bosses. Doing PvP is extemely time consuming, it takes about 10 minutes for one match, if you play offensive teams. It would take you about 5000 minutes if you win every match that you're doing (loses are not calculated in that time). - 2. Things that would be nice to have: - Exclusive rewards for the Battle Tower and PvP New Mounts, Clothes, etc. would be nice to have for either. One can not be obtained by the other. - Better rewards for consecutive wins: For example, if you manage to beat Cynthia three times in a row, you will get teleported to a different room, with a PC in it, where a static Pokémon is located, which can be synced. Starting with Tier 5 Pokémon, getting better over time, after each consecutive win. Also, more coins after a fixed amount of consecutive wins would be nice to have. - 3. Nice ideas from other players: - Player names as NPC names: (by Yakuzah) It would be nice to have real player names as the name of the NPC in the tower. If this is not possible, we would have a different idea: The top 11-2 players of the PvP ladder will be ranked with their rating, so every server would have the same players. Cynthia would be Top 1 with the most rating. - PvE coins from other bosses: (by CyBeR54) Harder bosses (Ash Westbrook, Battle Boss) should drop a low amount of PvE coins when beaten. Hey there With this I wanna request a NPC that allows you to end your Black Medalion instantly before the 72h are running out. Reason why: 1. You wanna hunt a h.a Pokemon and use the Blk Medalion. 2. You cought a good one and decide to hunt another Pokemon that requires Ability 1 instead of h.a 3. Imagine the Pokemon is a Tier 6-9 Pokemon and after alot of time u cought one and it´s h.a...you continue and the next is h.a too. It´s massivly frustrating since you payed for an Item that should make ur hunting experience better,- not hinder it, if not needed anymore. A new NPC or right click on the symbol with an option like this would be nice: "Are you sure you want to end/disable your remaining Blk Medalion duration?" • Yes (The Item/time will not be refunded) • No, thanks. Hey @NDemascus, Im sorry for this delayed reply. HM05-Flash is not a reward from the Vermilion gym leader neither it is located in Vermilion at all, you may have mixed up something. However, all in all it seems like you have lost your Dig Tm (and Flash Hm?!) because of a server rollback. Sometimes, when you use a Tm, the move is forgotten after a Rollback and the Tm is still gone, we apologize this inconvenience. Like mentioned above, we cant refund any lost items or game progress resulted by a Rollback but you can get back your Tm and Hm very easy. Flash is located in Route 2 Stop House. You can get there in two different ways: Pass through Diglets Cave and follow the way to the south. Pass through the bushes with HM01-Cut at Route 2. TM28-Dig in Cerulen City was unfortunately a one time event only, for another Dig-Tm you have to go to Celadon and buy one in Celadons Mart. Once again, Im sorry for this inconvenience.
