Hello fellow developers, I recently picked up this game again, and I can't compliment you guys enough. This must be one of the most complete and interesting pokémon games I have ever played. I already spent some hours and I'm having a lot of fun. I'm not here with a suggestion for ingame content, just as the title suggests. Let's name the elephant in the room here, there are some serious issues concerning your server side code. Or rather, that is what I picked up in some of the discord chats and forums. Any issue that is causing frustration to a lot of players, who often do not have any idea what a mountain of work it is to rewrite most part of a huge codebase just to fix a bug. It is perfectly understandable for a development-team, that doesn't do this as a full time job, to give up on this bug and deciding you will not rewrite any of it in the forseeable future. If you are really never planning on fixing it, no hard feelings... but let me make a suggestion there: SHARE THE CODEBASE Sharing the source code with some select volunteer developers who too much time on their hands can have a lot of advantages. The new perspectives you gain from third parties can improve codechanges, they could clean up spaghetticode and maybe even spot bugs you never saw before. I imagine this is something you wouldn't immediatly consider, seeing as the code is what makes the game unique... and someone could rip it and release their own version. But seeing an unstable application fail every day, dissapointing hundreds of customers....that's just real pain. GO OPEN SOURCE Going open source is even scarier, everyone on the internet has acces to the code. I don't know how the legal aspect of your mmo works, with the trademark from Pokémon etc. But if possible, going open source can be a lifesaver for a lot of software projects. The Java programming language went open source and CRUSHED microsofts C# in popularity and widespread use. Millions of people contribute to the java language. The same thing could happen to PRO, maybe not millions of people... But hell I would be the first to post a merge request. Sorry for my terrible english, and I'm really sorry for the long post (that again complains in some way about the server status). But I really mean good, think about these things! I'm a game developer, with multiple shipped games and tons of Unity3D experience, who recently started playing. I really, really wanna offer help with the development - Especially programming. But it all seems so closed up and tightly knit. As I'm so new to the game I figured there was no point me even attempting to offer. Making it open source and accepting pull requests would solve this problem. I'm sure myself and Thomas aren't alone. Let us help! I'd much rather be spending my time fixing stuff than grinding pokems. :P

The auction ended and the pokemon was sold to a random bidder not participating on this auction, 24hours before the auction ends. The insta of this auction is 25m and the user only offered 6m in cash without saying trades would be accepted. As a result, the trade will be reversed and proper action will be taken. The auction will be handled by me, for another 24hours and the pokemon will be given to the rightful winner after the end. The auctioneer will receive all amount of the final winning offer. Hola yo quiero comentarles que a mí criterio la quest esta es una injusticia total para los players que trabajamos a diario. Debería tener otro modo de descartar gente como x ejemplo darte opción a iniciarla cuando vos puedas farmear el Pokémon, de esta manera actualmente solo favorece a unos pokos players, por eso creo que es injusto. En mi caso particular no pude realizarla nunca debido a la hora de inicio , cuando llegó a farmear el evento ya casi acababa. Espero puedan entenderme y modifiquen esa pequeña cosa para que todos los players tengamos igualdad de oportunidades, ya que tanto hablan de un juego justo. Solución posible: dar inicio a la quest dentro de las 24 hs con un límite de tiempo estimado de 4 o 5 hs sería óptimo para todos. Saludos!

Hi there ! I'm sorry for the inconvenience. The servers were down due to technical difficulties and they are now back online. I would also like to inform you that our developers are already working on solving these issues but unfortunately it is not really easy and it can take a bit of time to solve them and therefore there is not any estimated time as for when these issue will be completely fixed. Nevertheless, our developers are totally reworking the server python and there will be an update soon where python will be completely reimplemented in PRO and many, many other things in the server code as well and this should be enough to fix a lot of things or at least give us the chance to pinpoint the other problems and therefore fix them. Also, please refrain from asking the server status here as it goes against the General Support rules. As the issue has been solved, I will now close this thread. Have a wonderful day

Hi @AKIDBS I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It seems like there was an error on or end that was blocking pokemon from evolving. However, the issue should now be solved. In case you should still experience that, just restart your client and re-try and it should work. There were few changes in order to stop the game to spam the evolution message at each level up, however the system seems like was not working properly. I would like suggest you have a look tho this THREAD to know which moves are not coded or codded incorrectly. There you can find which abilities are not coded or codded incorrectly. So all of us who beat the E4 of the four regions hacked the game? You can start by learning how the battle mechanics work so that you know what to do when battling against NPCs.

Given the amount of rude, disrespectful and just plain unnecessary comments I am sadly forced to lock this thread however I am not going to leave it on an open note without responding to some of the stuff said here. Claiming staff are bias I am not going to say that past staff were not bias, in fact I believe past staff were indeed bias in their decision making. Players like myself or Derpro suffered from those decisions. Tr3y, TheAkalli and others suffered from unfair and bias decisions as well. However we are not the past staff team, we are not those "powerabusers" you are trying to call out here. I gladly take actions against anyone who abuses their power now, what they did in their past honestly I could care less. If those mistakes were fixed, if you know a case where a ban was completely unfair then go ahead and DM me it. I gladly unban everyone who was unfairly banned, in fact both me and Logan are unbanning everyone who was unfairly banned or where evidence just doesn't exist or is severely lackluster. We put a ton of effort into this, calling us bias or powerabusers is just nonsense. Throughout this entire thread I read people writing that staff are powerabusers, are bias or just want to hurt the community but not a single time actually someone could provide evidence, not even a name where someone was abused. Someone on the first few pages claimed something, he was right and the mistake was corrected. Just listen to yourself for a second and hear what kind of nonsense you are writing in this thread. A lot are claiming powerabuse but can't even name a player who was "abused"? This is really ridiculous and crosses a line. Claiming unfair treatment Please give me names and I can look into the evidence collected, their appeals/reports. However just alone in this thread people claimed Epiales was powerabusing for muting people because they talked about football when in reality they were muted for swearing. The same way GengarLv100 is saying: You are just making fool out of yourself in our eyes but you do not bring anything productive to the table nor do you understand the harm you do by lying about what actually happened. Is this really the "unmesured abuse of power" you are talking about? The chat was warned to not break a widely accepted rule yet you broke it again and were muted for 60 seconds. A mute that doesn't have any influence on future sanctions. Just alone in this thread there are several players who wrote stuff like this to us on their alternative accounts or main accounts: Staffs are corrupt - "scenario with teerav" With what? What are we doing that is corrupt? Do you guys even understand the meaning of corrupt? I am surprised that you guys are actually asking us to punish a user who has not broken any rule, has done something on their personal discord. Do you really want us to do that? Punish players with not even a rule for what happened for something on their personal discord? I beg your pardon but what? This goes literally against everything you guys are claiming, that we abuse our powers, are bias and what not. We will not sanction someone who hasn't broken any rule for something they did on their personal discord. This is not only unreasonable but beyond stupid. Recruitment and letting community have a say in moderation Hey, guess what. ALL staff are community members, guild leaders, collectors, PvP players, shiny hunters, traders etc. We are volunteers out of the community and not some employees. I am sorry but we will not have some random players decide who to recruit because they think someone would be a good moderator, there is way more to it than you think. Do you think I was widely accepted as staff when I started? God no, staffs left the team because I joined/was unbanned. Some hated me but in the end those staffs saw that I was one of the few people who actually fought with everyone so everything is fair. I don't care if I have to discuss stuff with a Dev, an Admin or whoever. Logan be my witness, I rather get sanctioned than let someone get unfairly banned. You don't have to believe it, you really don't but I can at least say that we tried to give you guys the chance to voice your opinion. We knew this thread would be a shitstorm of false accusations, ranting and nonsense but at least some productive work came out of it. Recruitment is a thing we always have to improve upon, I agree that some of our last few recruits were not that great. Lots of bad decision making when recruiting, some who should have never been recruited in the first place. Shinohara, Logan and me are in positions where we decide who we want on our team. The workload for most is just too much, most don't make it past the first few months. Being a Moderator is really not that easy, a Trade Moderator and CC, they do even more. We hold open recruitment's but some of the applications are just straight up garbage, people lying about their past sanctions, having utterly rude behavior everywhere and stuff like that. I recruited Acaiberry for example, someone who basically nobody knows. Fluffles was one of the best staff members, was some random girl who was interested in becoming staff. Finding GOOD staff, dedicated staff is not that easy. It's not worth training them for 2 months just for them to quit 3 months in. I am willing to give people chances if they actually deserve them, NIkola gave me mine and I used it but we will not make BillyRick231 with 5 quiet-bans on his record a Moderator, that is just not reasonable. Final words A lot of stuff said in here is just factually not true, if it were then you guys could provide at least a name but even that is too much to ask for. We would take most of this stuff serious if it were actually true but it's not. You are not one of the "cool kids" if you think that insulting staff, or trying "own" them/"teach" them a lesson is something cool to do. It's really just sad nothing else really. I can judge this pretty good because I did that in the past as well. If you have anything further to add, just PM me in forums or on Discord Felix#5505 however this thread has to be locked, you guys are just breaking rules left and right and are just ranting at this point.
