Lets talk together about Staff & Player relationship !
Shinohara replied to Shinohara's topic in General Game Talk
Yes, we do that quite frequently actually, some cause we just go back looking our bans and some other thanks to the after-appeal complaint we receive. A reason for appeal taking some time is also the fact of taking the best decision and being sure of it, most of the time even checking with our colleagues. However, we do go back to our bans and even removed some of them if we find them a bit too harsh or similar. -

Although we talked already in private and asked me to feel free to not answer in here, I will just do it anyway for the sake of transparency. It is obvious that even staff have to follow rules and we in fact have our own staff rules and staff punishment policy. Said staff member has been talked to, from me personally, regarding the way he address some people. However, it is correct to point out that fault is not entirely on him but there are a lot of things that are unseen from the normal player. I will make you some example about what I mean being black or white. Example one. Few months ago there was a really big group of Real Money Traders that in total were actually selling (obviously not from a single account but many) around 900.000.000 Pokedollars (900 millions). Said staff member found it and banned all of them, both the seller and the buyer exactly as it is correct to be since Real Money Trading is a really serious infraction that can potentially destroy the game economy. This group was from a single specific country and a few of the banned went to complain to a PRO Youtuber they were following saying they were unjustly banned and the staff member was racist. This Youtuber started publicly accusing the staff member of racism and banning innocents, which has lead the story to get bigger and bigger until this person and staff (admins) started to receive threats from many users supporting that youtuber and thinking what said was true. Now, unfortunately, we cannot address these things publicly cause it's sort of unprofessional to call out people in front of everyone. However, the staff member called "idiot" or "stupid" (I don't remember which one of them) that person who did their best to put people against the staff who issued the punishment. Was it correct to call them stupid/idiot? Honestly not correct and not even worth the staff member time. However, we are humans and therefore get tilted as well when we experience such things. Does it justify any disrespect? Absolutely not, but that's exactly to say that things are never just black or white and there are many things that cannot be seen by a lot of users but users just assume that the staff his doing everything alone and starting it. Example two. We have a user who was able to reach the total amount of mutes necessary to get permanently banned. This number is exactly 8. In short, this user, a pvp player, was being toxic against opponents every time he had the chance to (mocking them or their skill after beating them, insulting them after this user was losing, etc) Every mute the user was receiving he was making an appeal, where he was promising to not be toxic anymore and follow rules/respect other players. However, after not even a month it was back to the start with the user being toxic again. Time passes and mute by mute the user reaches his 8 mute and then the permanent ban as the limit was reached and crossed. User at that point appeal, as he was permanently banned, and ask for a final chance. The staff member believes him and his words and decides to give him a last chance, however giving him a long mute despite the unban (this is how policy works after you get out from a permanent ban, having reached the limit, for toxicity). The user really happy accept it, a mute of 250 days aimed at making him reform and chill. The 250 days of mute passes, the user played without any problem until then. However, after the mute ends, not even a month later the user was back again being toxic, insulting after losing and mocking players after winning. This lasted for months, he continued doing it for months until we checked chat log and people started reporting him. At that point, the staff members decide to issue the last permanent ban as it was clear that the user could not get reformed. In that way we lost a PRO veteran player, and it sucks but at the same time we cannot give a special treatment to people only cause they are old players. We had initially thought about having him playing with a permanent mute, however the limit was already reached and honestly it would have been unfair toward all the players (new and old) that this user had insulted and mocked until now. Lets be clear, there are players that know they are toxic and therefore ask us (before getting punished) to kindly mute them so they are chill and can play without any concern. In fact, we appreciate that, as player realize they can't control themselves and want to play without causing problems. Anyway, after that person was banned, he started to try to put an entire community (the community of his country) against staff, even going as far as saying that if he will find that staff member he will stab him with a knife and kill him. In that way we got a big community from a country against us for something that staff had no fault with. Example three, and last one. Long story short, during Summer Tournament 2019 the user winning the gold tournament had cheated the whole tournament by making someone else playing for him. Host were me and that staff member. That staff member realized something was wrong and pushed for a investigation which has lead to the user being called racist by that person and spreading the fact he was racist for doing that check. (user was trying to defend himself and play the racist card to block the investigation) Also, that person had a relative within the staff team that also pushed and promoted the "you are racist" card. (this is explained better later). Unfortunately, time passes and we cannot find anything solid about it (we ban only after solid evidences) so we just close the investigation. Few months later, this group of people have a discussion and stop being friends so they start to report each other. It was then that we found evidences about it, as they literally reported the whole tournament situation where, sadly, the staff member (the relative mentioned above) also helped in cheating the tournament and hiding it. Needless to say, the staff member was kicked and the user got their first prize removed. However staff got once again a big amount of people hating staff and that staff member despite nothing wrong was done on our end, but people just blindly believed their friend. I myself banned a user from the game (RMT iirc) and the user pretended to be unbanned while insulting me (not sayin ban was wrong but just threatening me to be unbanned). After I didn't unban, this user started cutting his veins and send me photos and video of it to try to accuse me and actually lead me to problems in-real-life and as well spreading the fact I was transphobic banning a trans player (where obviously gender and similar had nothing to do with the ban). As for why this person is not "fired", the reason is simply that we have a staff punishment policy, exactly like players that is divided in steps. What the staff member did was not enough to warrant a removal, but definitely a good and stern talk as it happened. What we instant remove from staff are things like: Power Abuse (that the staff member you mention actually never did). Some example of power abuse, just for pure transparency: Logging your staff account to kick opponent you are in pvp battle with your player. This was performed by Rise/Astro (as many know) that got permanently excluded from PRO (staff + player ban), and therefore he was immediately permanently banned as soon as we found. Selling unban in change of irl money. Spawning items for people Banning people out of fun or without any reason (this, contrary to what some people say, was actually never performed by the staff member mentioned). Lot of drama that can greatly damage the game Needless to say, we do not support any disrespectful/offensive behaviour and if disrespectful behaviour will continues (however I like to believe there won't as that staff member is mature) further actions will be taken to fix that in a way or another. As for why this staff member was hired, the answer is simply that he's simply one of the best staff member PRO ever had. He provide a lot of work for the game, with a great quality, has a really high activity and has the aim to actually improve the game. As for attitude, I think that there's a need of learning how to control himself cause even if we (humans) might say something that is totally correct, it's really important to consider the way we do that. (as i told him) However, for what regard staff duties themselves, I think he's actually the example to follow and a new moderation staff should be aim to be like. Many recently started accusing him of not caring about the game just from due to the language used (which yes, needs to be controlled by him), however he did a lot for the community itself. It's even just worth to mention that years ago you just needed 4 mutes to be permanently banned forever, however he thought it was too harsh for community and therefore improved it from 4 to 8, giving it this way 4 additional chances to players to reform themselves and follow rules. Or the whole hoenn update where the pokemon are not encountered while surfing, which is a benefit since hoenn (the whole surfing part) is honesly as painful as a kick in the ball due to the many spawns and the super larger big water maps. I hope I was able to be clear enough (I mean, I was with you as we talked in PM and you even told me to feel free to not reply here, however I wanted to do it anyway for the sake of transparency). Also hope people won't jump on the "you are defending!" but also understand both the negative and positive things said. -

Before I continue replying people, I would like to remind you that this is a place where you ask things and Administration team answer to them with the most transparency. If you think you can fight each other here, then you just fail to understand the whole point this thread exists. Stop to fight each other, just ask things (to staff) or voice out your concerns (respectfully). This won't be tolerated. -

Hi there @McSchitter I will address each one of your points separately, like you did, so it's easier for both of us. Suggestions are something that are pretty much DEV-only things and absolutely not to GM. I would like to say Administration in general, but the knowledge of what's possible on PRO and what not, as well as the really detailed and complete to-do list of PRO (where those include adding non-existing features on client or server) is known only by DEVs. Yes, you can find a public to-do list of DEVs, but that serves more as a list of things the DEVs works now and will work in the future, however, none of us is able to know exactly what needs to be done in order to implement something. For example, to implement simple pokemon moves/ability in the game, but as well MEGAs, that you would think it's hard but not that much, took A LOT of work from DEVs exactly cause there is a lot of background work that needs to be done and that is not visible to anyone except DEVs. What players, and 99% of the staff, sees is pretty much the aesthetic part of the final result, however that part is probably less than 30% of the whole effective work that as required to reach that result. DEVs actually check the Suggestion Area more than you can expect; they actually do it really frequently. What is lacking is definitely answers on those topics, not for all of them (see a lot replied by walros) but many of them for sure. A lot of threads are unreplied cause people just repeat the same request someone did like 2 months before and that had already received a reply. I don't think it's really good to leave people with no answers even in those cases, but I think that's something more fit for the Community Coordinator team (it's not one of their duties at the moment, so they did no mistake) and I will check with them about it in the following days so even people that suggested things that were already suggested and got an answer before can actually get informed about it. However, giving how many people repeat the same suggestions, I think it's not entirely staff fault but as well players one for not doing a small research before even making their post. As for the things that didn't get an answer at all, we will clearly discuss it as well in order to have a sort of comfortable system both for the DEVs and players. I think the first point cover this as well. I think you are wrong regarding this. Q & A (question and answer) is something where someone (acting as interviewer) ask things and you answer to them. In a normal video you should prepare questions in advance, as you need to record it. However, during a live stream, you should focus on reading chat and effectively answers the questions that are asked to you in live. I am not saying that we cannot make actually a Q&A in a video-format by preparing the questions in advance; what I am saying is that the format you have in mind is a Q&A but with a format that is not one for a livestream but rather a video. Could we do one in a video-format but in live? Yes, why not, but I don't think there was any error committed until now if the questions answered were the one made in the live chat. I think the important is having users asking questions (whatever passes on their mind) and staff answering them, and that's actually what's been done. Good to point out that one of the first Q&A was organized by me in terms of questions, where I had prepared the questions before the effective live and then Walross read the answers and added his part (obviously). However users (major part) were quite annoyed by the fact we were not answering chat one but focussing mainly on the one we had prepared in advance. But yeah, there are no limits regarding that, so preparing questions in advance and making a thread about it is not something we are against. Staff Related Questions regarding criticism I do actually totally disagree here, as it's exactly my role the one to handle the staff members in terms of how they feel inside a staff and if they have to voice out something. I always did my part and many, many, many people always came to me to talk and vent about something and we were able to find a solution together, or unfortunately there was no solution possible but at least that person had someone to rely on and talk with. Obviously, there are also people that just close themselves within their groups. I had a small groups of 3 people within staff that rather than voicing out their problems and come to talk to me (or as well Red, or any Dev) just started trash-talking a lot of staff members in a small private group, ad that's just wrong. Remember that what you have talked about is always a double-path/way/route thing. I can stretch out my hand toward someone in the best and kindest of the way, but if that person will refuse to take that and won't explain me why (despite me worrying and asking) then there is nothing that me, or anyone else, can do about it as I cannot force someone. However, I got to say that a lot of people come to talk to me or I even go to them before they do (when I notice something is strange). Except rare cases as the one described above, I think people voice their opinions really well. But again, if people refuse to do that with anyone from the management team or admin team (I am probably the most fit as that's exactly my role, but if they go to their leader or anotehr admin I am really fine anyway as long as it helps in solving the issue) then there is not much we can do as that's a double-path/way/route thing as explained above. Just to clarify, I also bump a post about it within the staff team sometimes that talks exactly about it (contacting proper people if you have a issue/concern or similar, as together we can find a solution or at least do our best to try it). If you want to ask anything else, please feel free to do so and I will do my best, as you know, to help with that. I don't mind if you do it here or in DM as we did before, whatever it's more comfortable for you. - Keita -

Ehi there @Madtrainer I am unsure about who told you that there won't be a Summer Event this year, but that's wrong! Our content team is working on a Summer Event, like every other year. We will announce to community when it will be released ! As for other events during the year, there will always be new one and I doubt PRO will ever stop to create new content. I cannot reveal you anything, but the biggest one of the year should be during the Christmas period so keep yourself ready ! - Keita -
Lets talk together about Staff & Player relationship !
Shinohara replied to Shinohara's topic in General Game Talk
Hi there @Nyong Your question lack of context, so I am not really sure about how to address that. I will in any case assume you are talking about appeals, as that's where the threads gets the longest to be replied in some situation. Please, make sure to correct me if you meant something different. The answer is here simply that the time necessary for an appeal to be answered is based on the kind of punishment the user received and in general the situation the user found himself (intentionally or not). I will make you two examples in order to make it easier: Example one: PlayerA starts to insult PlayerB telling them "You are a fucking retarded idiot". Staff intervened The situation in this case is really clear, there's not much to think about cause the infraction is evident and there is not really a need for big investigation if not small one (e.g check chat log to see further recent, and not reported, behaviour OR previous punishment history/connections). Therefore, what staff will do is simply issue a punishment. This punishment is generally a Quiet Ban that mute the user from all the game chats for X days, unless user got many punishments already and therefore goes to the next step directly that is either a temporary ban from the whole game or a permanent one. When the banned user will appeal the ban, it will be really fast for the simple reason that everything is already clear and honestly even easy to handle. What staff will check in the appeal is simply if the user understood why he got punished, if he regret it and understood from it. If appeal is successful, the ban will be reduced (not removed entirely unless first infraction), exception made when you have reached your 8th punishment when at that point there is just no way to get unbanned. Example two: PlayerA starts to sell their account goods in change of real-life money (EUR/USD just to give an example). He sells 500.000 pokedollars and 9 pokemon to 10 different users. Yes, what just described looks incredibly messed up, however that's how 95% of the RMT cases are. In this case what we do in the first place is banning all the seller accounts (obviously) and then start to check all his trade logs of all his accounts from A to Z (even past one that might be 1 year before the RMT happened) to find every single user he sold the items to, and the trades that looks suspicious and investigate them. Now that we handled the seller, it's time for the buyers. Who bought from PlayerA(seller) is potentially involved in other RMTs, we cannot know until we find. So GM will go and check all the trade logs of the buyers cause maybe the buyer decided to move the bought goods on his alt accounts to hide them. Now lets suppose that the buyer has 3 accounts, this means that GM will have to go and check all the trades and connections in those 3 accounts where maybe the user did hundred trades in his game-life. Multiply that for the 10 different buyers and each buyer has 2-3 accounts (even if, as staff, most of the rmters have even more than 3-4), this means you will have to check all the trades and connections of 25-35 accounts (seller included). In the end, during the appeal, the user will be asked to be honest and cooperative and we will have to verify everything he says with the data we obtained. We are pretty kind during appeals, to my opinion, to the point where people deny even speedhacking despite they do that in front of other 50 players and get reported by 10 of them but we still give them more chances to be honest so we can offer them another chance. You can understand from here that from a simple infraction like "You are a fucking retarded idiot" committed on a single account TO a RMT case (a single one) where you have to check 30 and more accounts, the different is as huge as the mount everest. Few months ago, our GMs found a mass RMTer group that had sold more than 800 millions pokedolalrs in total and the account to check were more than 155. In the end, not less important, is that Staff Members are volunteers (not paid) and therefore are active for their duties only during their free time. However, to clarify, this doesn't mean they can do whatever they want and be online whenever they want, as we have strict standards when it comes to staff activity that we want staff to follow. This cause even if you are a volunteer that doesn't mean you have to put/have less efficiency, organization and professionalism than any other job since no one forced staff members to join staff but they decided to volunteer themselves. I hope this make it clear why some appeal are replied before than others. Please, let me know if you meant anything else or if there is any part of it that is unclear ! -

Shinohara replied to Shinohara's topic in General Game Talk
Hi there @biermon12 As the situation you have experienced happened before I was Admin (and from a person that is now a Former Staff) I have went over and checked the case where the event you described happened. You were being checked for a Real Money Trading situation and there were really strong evidences pointing toward you. The staff member, in order to help you getting out it (and not losing your account), actually had the WRONG idea to actually ask you for a photo to prove your claim (of being friends/brothers playing together). Despite the staff had good intentions, what the Staff Member did is absolutely wrong and is something we are absolutely against and always taught to not do that (although that should be common sense). Despite I was not an Admin back then and therefore had no management power, I do give you our most sincere apologies regarding the event you have experienced with a promise to do my best in order to make sure that was the first and last time something like that will happen. - Keita -
Lets talk together about Staff & Player relationship !
Shinohara posted a topic in General Game Talk
Hello there everyone ! For those of you who don't know me, I am Keita, one of the Administrator of Pokemon Revolution Online, nice to meet you! Given the recent situation with increasing tensions between staff and players, I think it's now time to properly address it with the aim of improving the situation and in general the staff-player relation. The people who know me can testify that I have, and never had, a problem in being transparent and honest, but as well really direct going straight to the point. Just to clear, this doesn't mean that everything can be disclosed as there are things that cannot be disclosed like it can be the method we use to catch cheaters, but there are many other things that can be discussed without a problem and that many would be interested but are afraid to ask. This thread has been created exactly to have a ground where staff (represented in this thread by us Admins) and players can properly discuss together and clarify things. In this thread you will be able to ask me pretty much anything that passes on your mind. Some example: Moderation Our stance toward a specific behaviour Our stance toward a specific rule violation What kind of training do staff has to pass before becoming effectively a full-staff member? How does our Punishment Policy exactly works? Suggestions How they are addressed within the staff team; How do we treat them in general and what value do we give to them What priority do we give to them Staff How is staff organized How do we make sure the staff are doing the right thing and not abusing their power How is staff punished if and when they break any rule Events How do we organize them? However, do keep in mind that these are just examples but there is many more things that you might be interested in knowing and can ask here. Also, as said previously, remember that there are some things that cannot be answered, some of them can be: Exact value of special form encounter chance How do we find cheaters (as this would allow people to bypass them and have the game full of cheaters) Other things that are not in my mind now, but I will make sure to point it out to you in case you ask IMPORTANT: This is a space I am offering in order to improve the staff-player relation. I do expect transparency and honesty from you at 360°, but as well respect. No insult, taunt, provocation, targetting toward a specific user or staffmember or similar will be tolerated. We live in 2021, I am fairly sure the human society evolved enough to be able to hold a discussion with the best transparency and honesty possible but as well respect toward each other. Allowed argument: It looks like sometimes you mass ban a lot amount of people at once, why does it happen? Not allowed argument: You fucking dictator, hitler fan, you just hate the whole INSERTCOUNTRY population, why the fuck do you do that? fuck you retarded dictator- 298 replies

Wammys post addressed these points: Relationship staff player Hierarchical position Community feedback ignore Complaint toward Qeight's words All of these are valid points to be discussed and addressed properly (no one ever said that his complaint was wrong, bad or similar), and none of that went even minimally close to discuss spawns if not for a sentence related to Qeight's spawn knowledge. Not containing anything minimally related to this post, but being a general complaint related to the general situation and relationship staff-players, it became off topic in this context and was simply moved in the correct section. The movement was correct; If a thread related to Metagross ban and why it should be banned or why it should NOT be banned, the post should contain arguments that works around those and nothing else unrelated to it, all of that in order to maintain organization. Nothing justify Wammys words (the insults) regardless if written before or after the movement, it's simply an unnecessary and disrespectful attitude that goes against our rules and that in the first place are not productive in any way. I have zero problems in being transparent and talk with people, exactly like many contacted me through discord today, so when I tell you that the thread was to be moved as being out of place it's simply cause it's like that. I do gain nothing from moving a post away from here, specially since everyone already read it, however organization is important and topics should be respected and there should not be freedom to go out of topic (made an example with metagross above). I can even make a public post about staff-player relation (where players can comment of course and ask questions), as that's really important in a game. However, please keep this thread on topic, or it will be just closed as the purpose of creating it was the one to discuss the spawn change itself, from A to Z and nothing else outside of it.
-
Lets begin by saying that transparent feedback means an honest and direct feedback shared, regardless if positive or negative, however absolutely done in a respectful way. No disrespect is tolerated on PRO or even IRL if the one that does it just fill you with insult at the same time, as that's not productive and also annoying and disrespectful. Really important is that what you fail to understand is that what is locked behind General Complaint Are is simply stuff that do not belong here, stuff that is off topic. If you talk only about the spawn-update, as that's the context and the topic, then this is the correct place to do that. If you talk about how much staff doesn't listen to community or the relationship staff-player (like makeitwitchu did in 99% of his post) then this is not the place for you and General Complaint Area is. It's always important to keep the threads in-topic and therefore avoiding off topic, as they damage the communication and lead to confusion and unorganized things. Your interviewer example is simply based on the wrong assumption on how an interview works, but that's totally wrong. You might be unaware of that, but interviews (at least the one done good and not beginner-inexperienced people) are scheduled not only for what regard times but also for what regard topic. If an interviewer schedules an interview for a new Satellite, the interviewer in the middle of it cannot start to ask things about football as that is unprofessional, out of topic, and also disrespectful toward the person being interviewed. Hard to say that PRO is a society, that's a good misunderstanding. Having a society would mean people can actually vote for changes, but this is not something that ANY GAME does. League Of Legend is the most played game, however its board (forum) is dead and the game itself doesn't offer a real way to have community affect the decisions taken by staff. The same goes for 95% of the other existing games. If you ask me what PRO is (on a changes context), then I can tell you that PRO is literally a game run by a Staff Team that takes decision with the intention to improve it. Decisions are taken only by the Staff Team, and this is important to point out as it's something that many misses and try to force us to obey to their requests. However, the fact that Staff do take the decision and we do not blindly obey to community orders (like a lot of people try to make us do and insult later if we don't) doesn't mean that we do not appreciate the community and hear them. It is in fact super appreciated to have people trying to help and contribute by providing ideas and feedback to improve the game. We have A LOT of things in the game that have been implemented only cause players suggested it and staff/devs found them interesting. Those things are in all the department, even in PVP where the bans were the "recent" bans (greninja, aegislash, etc) were decided thanks to the experienced PVP players we have and them providing arguments and evidences, in a respectful way, to explain their point of view. Unfortunately, and no offense is intended, a good portion of the community has a really terrible mindset where what they think is: "I say staff should do X. If Staff does not do X then it means they don't listen to me.", but this is honestly an immature mindset and also totally wrong. If it would be for 80% of the community, event maps would be 3x3 maps where we gift legendaries so they can be happy, this cause a lot of people like to have things served on a gold plate. Sometimes, as a staff of any game or a CEO of any company, you are just forced to take decisions that might not necessarily liked by everyone and that's done for the sake of the game itself/the project itself as if you think that's the correct direction it has to take and the one it will benefit the most from. It is true that there is no game without its community, but at the same time there is no community without a good game. I do agree and disagree here at the same time. Yes, Qeight is the person on PRO that has the most experience in terms of spawns and this include both how they works from A to Z 100% as well how to edit them (You can find a really big changelog here ( OLD SPWAN CHANGELOG). However, this doesn't mean that the community is not able to judge it. Or better, community is not able to judge it if no detailed explanation is given, however he dedicated two really long posts that also contains a lot of knowledge on how spawns work and why they are done in a specific way, all of that to help user understand why the change happened. This means that the community can effectively read that post and understand from there, and ask, with respect, questions in case something is not clear enough. This absolutely does not mean the user will be on the same level of Prehax, cause a lot of knowledge is obtained through experience, but at the same time the user will definitely have a cleaner understanding on the whole thing. However, you tell me that no one can argue back due to that. How would you have handled that? Like, if you tell me that people can't counter-argue (although I have already expressed above my thought about it), how exactly would have you handled it? If you say that you can't counter-argue, then the only solutions I see are either announcing the change and that's it or not doing the change at all (which doesn't seem fair to not do that only for that reason). However, I will appreciate if you can share your way to handle that since no one is perfect This is exactly the point. There is no jury, cause a jury IRL actually have power on things like the outcome of a case, however PRO community has no power over what decision is taken by staff. Having a jury would imply having people that have actually power given by law/rules, but that's not how PRO works. However, as said above, it is in fact super appreciated to have people trying to help and contribute by providing ideas and feedback to improve the game. And I can assure you that community opinion is really valued and has effectively the ability to change the outcome of a case or a change/update (see Metagross ban, for example); however, this is done out of respect and kindness from staff but absolutely not cause the community has any real power to do or force it. So, there is no Jury. As for executioners, I think that's just a wrong term in general. Unnecessary to do so this time. makeitwitchu post was NOT deleted but just moved as that was a general complaint than a complaint about spawns, which included as well things like insults such as terms like "staling, dictator, leader" used to insults and that were not providing any help. However, I do invite you to make a general complaint post if you'll still want to discuss about relationship staff-users in details. However your post this time was not really off topic, or at least not to a point to be removed.

Ehi there @Whimsicott How are you doing? From my understanding you are asking for a refund for 2 reroll, however it seems like you are misunderstanding how the system works. When you interact with the NPC, you are asked if you want to activate the buff in one of the three following ways: Paying 1.200.000 Pokedollars Submitting 1x Mysterious Ticket Submitting 2x Reroll Ticket Said items, regardless of which one you decide to use to activate the buff, will get removed permanently from your account and after that the buff will be activated for 1 hour. Using the 2x Reroll Ticket as a payment option doesn't allow you to use them but, as said above, they are just a different payment option that are removed from your account as soon as you choose it as buff-activation method. Therefore, if that's your request, we are not allowed to refund anything. In case this is not your request and you just encountered a bug, please let me know so i'll be able to investigate it together with the CS Team. Looking forward to your reply and wish you a good day in the while. - Keita

I didn't understand the new double reroll service
Shinohara replied to Ryuusenka's topic in General Support
Hi there @Shiroufubuki I'll provide you an answer today after we'll have discussed it within staff and checked if you actually used the system or not. Please, be patient until then -
With all the due respect, what you said is simply based on the thing "It's easy to do it cause I don't know what I am talking about". I played Microsoft Flight Simulator last week and I did pretty good. Why did some airplane crashed/fell in the past and ended up in the oceans? Like, it's so easy to drive one! Jokes aside, a reconnect feature is already planned as listed in the DEV To-Do List Reconnect //That's not only for PvP but in general so users that disconnect unplanned reconnect without even realizing it in the background. Very complex problems. If adding a reconnect would be so easy, then you would have one already.

Honestly speaking, what you are describing just looks almost impossible. Only explanation I can give is one of the following: You are lying and just increased the amount miss to make it more... "OMG!"; You are one of the most unlucky person in the world, cause what you describe has 0.00000000000000000000117% chance of happening; There is something that decrease High Jump Kick accuracy and that has not been found, however after several tests we didn't find it. I have personally made a Python script to run 182 attempts and see effectively the amount of success and fail with 90% chance (High Jump Kick has 90% accuracy). After that I have run that script 700 different times (so basically it made 182 attempts, then other 182, then other 182, etc). The lowest I was able to go to was 150 success and 32 fail which is 82.42% of accuracy. Do keep in mind that this is the lowest possible I have encountered. After that, to verify if there was any issue in the game we have proceeded and 5 different testers actually tested it. USERNAME ATTEMPTS SUCCESS FAIL % ACCURACY TIGRERRA 64 56 8 87.50 % MALAMAGMAR 99 88 11 88.89 % METAGUROSU 80 75 5 93.75 % ACTIVECAMO 100 90 10 90 % GOUDA 80 68 12 85 % As you can see, the lowest is 85% and the highest is 93.75%. Obviously, the higher you go and the more the % will stabilize itself around 90%. Honestly speaking, numbers there looks pretty correct. There are obviously things to keep in consideration like Bright Powder, however on a number such as yours (182), it looks really impossible to have the total accuracy go down to 62% unless you have played against only pokemon holding that item.

The reason of why they have been added from Eaty is cause he wanted to release all the legendary wings sooner or later. The fact of old user being against it was expected from us, this cause as I said as well within staff it is important to maintain exclusivity for things obtained in special events done 3/4 years ago. And this is exactly why we have thought about adding, to the original players that had received them in the event (2016/2017, not sure) something else exclusive they can keep. We are still unsure about WHAT give, but as for now we are thinking about a special form of said Giratina Wings. As we are still unsure, we'll just communicate it when this will be properly decided.

If the pokemon you linked was posted on the live server (Gold/Silver) then this is a Staff Pokemon Reward, it's a reward that Staff can request after working every day, for many hours, as staff members for 6+ months. We have many rules for those Pokemon that goes from request to usage and we also are really strict in terms of activity. Testing on the test server won't make you receive one. What you can get from testing, as announced, are: PVE Coins, Locked Reroll Tickets, Mysterious Ticket (100% chance encounter Pokemon you wish) and that are given in base of your contribution (what bug you actually find)

What is the role of a Moderation Staff member? PRO's Moderation Team is a group of staff who provide support for players and ensure that PRO is kept in order. The Moderation Team make sure that users follow PRO's Rules and support players on the forum and in-game. Moderator [RECRUITMENT IS OPEN] A Moderator's primary focus is in PvP, and Chat violations. They maintain order in-game and make sure that users are following the rules. Moderators handle Reports, Appeals, and the PvP subforums. A good candidate for Moderator is someone who's an experienced member of PRO and has good knowledge in the PvP and Chat rules. Moderator is the most recruited role in PRO, it's important that Moderators would be able to put aside at least one hour per day for their duties. Trade Moderator [RECRUITMENT IS OPEN] TMods are supposed to do three main activities: dealing with reports in the Report Center, making sure the Trade subforums are all in order and that every topic is following the Trade Rules, and moderating chat channels in-game. TMods are the principal forces responsible for watching over Trade Chat in-game, but they also moderate everywhere there could be an infraction. The previous questions were telling us almost nothing and this would lead to a lot of time potentially wasted from both sides. Your application and results must remain confidential. Ehi there @Sineaters Can you please tell me what did you select when using it, so we'll be able to check? Looking forward to your reply, have a good day

In total honesty, if you do not like shinies art/models/sprite, you should complain to GameFreak as they are the authors The Pokemon sprites are original, same one used on official games and we do not plan to change them as that would be pretty much senseless. In any case, our artist team actively work on new special event-themed forms the whole year, so this means that new art will never lack.

denied Addition of Nature mints in coin shop.
Shinohara replied to Nightclown's topic in Suggestions
Unfortunately, we do not plan to add anything that is a nature change for normal Pokemon or similar. They are really rare stuff that should be a reward for the Summer Tournament only as they have always been I can definitely understand it's not good to have your synch failing when you find a good Pokemon, but at the same time PRO is an MMO and as such is normal that it should be harder than any other pokemon official game. Allowing a change of nature for the Pokemon can potentially lead to the destroy of the economy and have problems for what regard the activity of the players. Have a good day. -
Giving recent behaviour issues from many people here, some involving as well the thread owner, I am actually forced to close this thread as it's not leading anywhere in any case. Our Council Leader will make a post, with my help to make it clean and understandable for everyone, to explain the bans as soon as possible. Eventually we'll give chance to comment below the thread where stuff is explained, As for votes, regardless of how much you will ask, we won't make one cause votes, +1, petitions, polls and similar makes absolutely zero sense as I have explained before. To make you an example, If I would make a vote regarding if adding a 3x3 empty map where we gift Legendaries, more than 70% of the community will say yes, but does that mean the decision is the correct one? Absolutely not. What we consider are valid arguments supported by facts, evidences, calculation and in general data collected. In short, arguments that are actually proved/possible to be proved. Have a good day.
-
Numbers do not mean anything, I am fairly sure if I would add a 3x3 empty map in the game where we gift legendaries, more than 60-70% of the community would be fine with it. Does that 60-70% means the decision is correct? Absolutely not. What really matters are productive arguments and feedback. At the same time, make sure to understand that doing different from what you want doesn't mean not hearing you. There is not a single decision that can make everyone, 100% of the community happy. But taking a decision that only 80% (example) of the community agree with doesn't mean the remaining 20% is not being listened/heard.
-
Just a little comment about the petition. Even if you sign in 300 people, it actually means nothing as we do consider valid arguments and feedback and not signs. A sign is just the equivalent of a "+1", but the 30 good arguments are better than 4000 empty +1. We are not electing the President of a country and therefore are not looking for people signing anything. Our Council Leader will provide you explanation regarding the Greninja Ban (here, or in a separate thread), as soon as available.
