  1. Hi there @Shiroufubuki I'll provide you an answer today after we'll have discussed it within staff and checked if you actually used the system or not. Please, be patient until then
  2. With all the due respect, what you said is simply based on the thing "It's easy to do it cause I don't know what I am talking about". I played Microsoft Flight Simulator last week and I did pretty good. Why did some airplane crashed/fell in the past and ended up in the oceans? Like, it's so easy to drive one! Jokes aside, a reconnect feature is already planned as listed in the DEV To-Do List Reconnect //That's not only for PvP but in general so users that disconnect unplanned reconnect without even realizing it in the background. Very complex problems. If adding a reconnect would be so easy, then you would have one already.
  3. Honestly speaking, what you are describing just looks almost impossible. Only explanation I can give is one of the following: You are lying and just increased the amount miss to make it more... "OMG!"; You are one of the most unlucky person in the world, cause what you describe has 0.00000000000000000000117% chance of happening; There is something that decrease High Jump Kick accuracy and that has not been found, however after several tests we didn't find it. I have personally made a Python script to run 182 attempts and see effectively the amount of success and fail with 90% chance (High Jump Kick has 90% accuracy). After that I have run that script 700 different times (so basically it made 182 attempts, then other 182, then other 182, etc). The lowest I was able to go to was 150 success and 32 fail which is 82.42% of accuracy. Do keep in mind that this is the lowest possible I have encountered. After that, to verify if there was any issue in the game we have proceeded and 5 different testers actually tested it. USERNAME ATTEMPTS SUCCESS FAIL % ACCURACY TIGRERRA 64 56 8 87.50 % MALAMAGMAR 99 88 11 88.89 % METAGUROSU 80 75 5 93.75 % ACTIVECAMO 100 90 10 90 % GOUDA 80 68 12 85 % As you can see, the lowest is 85% and the highest is 93.75%. Obviously, the higher you go and the more the % will stabilize itself around 90%. Honestly speaking, numbers there looks pretty correct. There are obviously things to keep in consideration like Bright Powder, however on a number such as yours (182), it looks really impossible to have the total accuracy go down to 62% unless you have played against only pokemon holding that item.
  4. The reason of why they have been added from Eaty is cause he wanted to release all the legendary wings sooner or later. The fact of old user being against it was expected from us, this cause as I said as well within staff it is important to maintain exclusivity for things obtained in special events done 3/4 years ago. And this is exactly why we have thought about adding, to the original players that had received them in the event (2016/2017, not sure) something else exclusive they can keep. We are still unsure about WHAT give, but as for now we are thinking about a special form of said Giratina Wings. As we are still unsure, we'll just communicate it when this will be properly decided.
  5. If the pokemon you linked was posted on the live server (Gold/Silver) then this is a Staff Pokemon Reward, it's a reward that Staff can request after working every day, for many hours, as staff members for 6+ months. We have many rules for those Pokemon that goes from request to usage and we also are really strict in terms of activity. Testing on the test server won't make you receive one. What you can get from testing, as announced, are: PVE Coins, Locked Reroll Tickets, Mysterious Ticket (100% chance encounter Pokemon you wish) and that are given in base of your contribution (what bug you actually find)
  6. Ehi there @Sineaters Can you please tell me what did you select when using it, so we'll be able to check? Looking forward to your reply, have a good day
  7. In total honesty, if you do not like shinies art/models/sprite, you should complain to GameFreak as they are the authors The Pokemon sprites are original, same one used on official games and we do not plan to change them as that would be pretty much senseless. In any case, our artist team actively work on new special event-themed forms the whole year, so this means that new art will never lack.
  8. author: arkeis-pokemon Hello everyone and welcome to our new Tournament based on to the soon to be added PVP-Mode: Random Battles! Don't miss the chance to prove your skill by battling countless PVP player and compete to win amazing rewards! Make a post in this topic with the filled registration form below. You have until the 15th June 2021, 23:59 GMT +0 to register. Every registration after that will be rejected. With that, we hope that you enjoy the first Official PRO Random Battle Tournament, best of luck to all the participants.
  9. Unfortunately, we do not plan to add anything that is a nature change for normal Pokemon or similar. They are really rare stuff that should be a reward for the Summer Tournament only as they have always been I can definitely understand it's not good to have your synch failing when you find a good Pokemon, but at the same time PRO is an MMO and as such is normal that it should be harder than any other pokemon official game. Allowing a change of nature for the Pokemon can potentially lead to the destroy of the economy and have problems for what regard the activity of the players. Have a good day.
  10. Giving recent behaviour issues from many people here, some involving as well the thread owner, I am actually forced to close this thread as it's not leading anywhere in any case. Our Council Leader will make a post, with my help to make it clean and understandable for everyone, to explain the bans as soon as possible. Eventually we'll give chance to comment below the thread where stuff is explained, As for votes, regardless of how much you will ask, we won't make one cause votes, +1, petitions, polls and similar makes absolutely zero sense as I have explained before. To make you an example, If I would make a vote regarding if adding a 3x3 empty map where we gift Legendaries, more than 70% of the community will say yes, but does that mean the decision is the correct one? Absolutely not. What we consider are valid arguments supported by facts, evidences, calculation and in general data collected. In short, arguments that are actually proved/possible to be proved. Have a good day.
  11. Numbers do not mean anything, I am fairly sure if I would add a 3x3 empty map in the game where we gift legendaries, more than 60-70% of the community would be fine with it. Does that 60-70% means the decision is correct? Absolutely not. What really matters are productive arguments and feedback. At the same time, make sure to understand that doing different from what you want doesn't mean not hearing you. There is not a single decision that can make everyone, 100% of the community happy. But taking a decision that only 80% (example) of the community agree with doesn't mean the remaining 20% is not being listened/heard.
  12. Just a little comment about the petition. Even if you sign in 300 people, it actually means nothing as we do consider valid arguments and feedback and not signs. A sign is just the equivalent of a "+1", but the 30 good arguments are better than 4000 empty +1. We are not electing the President of a country and therefore are not looking for people signing anything. Our Council Leader will provide you explanation regarding the Greninja Ban (here, or in a separate thread), as soon as available.
  13. Happy to see people helping each other in order to build guides, that's really something I do appreciate in a community
  14. INTRODUCTION I want to clarify in the first place two things. The first is the fact that the last year tournament was not held as the Wave 3 was planned to come out in December in our first plans and therefore it was decided to wait the full megas rather than having the half packet. Unfortunately, due to issues (not caused by someone in specific, it just happened) it was not possible and it leads to this situation. You will have to register again, I will announce it when thread will come out. Anyway, there is a compensation for the last one missing. The second and most important is that the Summer Tournament was decided to be held in game, like the other Summer Tournaments, on the live servers. Reasons and conditions: It will be hosted only when the server-crashes issue will be fixed. Before the current situation (started in February), there was a long period the server used to crash once every 7 days or sometimes even less (we reached the point servers were up for 14-15 days on a row); if we can go back to that or close, that would be great. Yes, Guild Tournament delay was caused by crashes but, as long as the servers do not crashes, having players playing with the Pokemon they aquired (bought, hunted, etc) will definitely be better; otherwise what's the point of hunting Pokemon? But this is not the place to talk about any of that. Real topic is the one below, so stay on topic please. TOPIC OF THE POST: How long should the Rounds last? As all of you knows, Summer Tournament is a really long Tournament caused by the fact it has more than 350 participants. In the previous Summer Tournament, each round was lasting 7 days; is that too much? The amount of time was selected considering: Having 7 days means that there won't be any sort of tournament extension for anyone or any round; It's a really long tournament that generally last 3 months, you might be totally free the first 2 months so you register, but the following one you might be way busier due to exams or idk; First rounds are literally 180 matches (90 per server). If even only 5-10 matches encounter issue or drama, this means there is the need of contacting 10-20 (5x2; 10x2) people to hear their side and take the decision, which might not be the easier of the things to do in 3 days of round for example. Anyway, lets go with the feedback and keep it productive. Rewards Spoiler
  15. I do not understand why you are trying to push so far despite you have one of the Administrator of the game telling you information, supported by evidences. Once again, as the Admin of the game I have personally checked the PVP Log and the Greninja was holding a Bright Powder. There is nothing to figure out or ask to the user, as my answer comes after having checked the game database information. Now, options are two: I am right as the information comes directly from the database and is supported by evidence; The database became a living-sentient machine with a soul/conscousness and is trying to harm PRO by lying to Admins/DEVs by faking the data of the game. Luckily for us, our database didn't become Skynet v2. Not yet In any case, as the situation has been clarified, I will now lock the post. Have a good day!
  16. The user simply trolled you, the real item held by the Pokemon was Bright Powder.
  17. Hi there @KingEros The move missed cause its accuracy was not anymore 100% but was 90% as Greninja was holding a Bright Powder as item. Quoting from Bulbapedia (Bright Powder Page) Hopefully this clear the case for you, have a good day !
  18. With all the due respect, not trying to be offensive or anything, the whole "It's idiot to talk with a NPC for 3 seconds to heal all of 6 my Pokemon!" is quite a stupid argument honestly. You just want everything served to you on a gold plate without you having to perform the smallest movement/action, but this whole being served is something that lack of a sense and potentially harm the game in a devastating way. (obviously watching the entire scenario including your other suggestions/arguments and not only this single case) Ehi there @VintGryph The problem with such an idea is the fact that the whole process of healing takes exact 3-4 seconds at most, which yes could be avoided but at the same time by removing those you will give end-game players a delay of 1-2 minute (or even more) when it comes to Repel trick. Repel trick is mostly performed while having a dead Pokemon in your party. This means that if having your Pokemon dying will take around 1-2 minutes or more then this is around 20 to 40 times more than healing your Pokemon as you will have to keep killing back the pokemon if you will have to go back to the Pokecenter for anything (example: trading/buying/selling something). The 1-2 minute consider the entire process being: Encountering the pokemon in the wild Move animation time performed by your pokemon and the opponent one Reach the phase your pokemon die Switch pokemon to kill the random one encountered in the wild and used to kill yours In short, this means that by removing players 3 seconds of npc interaction to heal your Pokemon, you will add 2 minutes (a 40x times higher time) of interaction you will have to do. Removing 3-4 seconds of interaction in change of 2 minutes of interaction is not, honestly, worth at all. Good to mention as well that the entire existence of the Nurse Joey would be made senseless. I hope I was able to give answer your question in detailed way, have a good day !
  19. Discussed and clarified here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/173419-buy-a-house-on-pro-with-buyable-add-on-facilities/ Locked o/
  20. With all due respect, not a single one of the points you forwarded is a solution for any of the issues forwarded above but you just mention things and claim they are easy or doable while lacking the knowledge about that specific topic. It just also look you didn't read or misuunderstood as well a lot of things I said. This was clarified above already. If we make just 2-3 basic templates and therefore no customizable, why would someone get one giving that inside there won't be any tutor, any spawn, any money-income source? It would be just a generic random house everyone has access to... exactly like Vermilion Pokecenter or any other building in PRO. You could tell me "Oh, but it's my space and there is only me!", if you want to have a generic room like everyone has access to (exactly like said above, as that would be the result), you can just go inside a building and in the console type foreveralone and voilĂ , you are now the only person in that generic building everyone has access to and it's free! This is not even possible, I was well clear above about how maps (it's one of the first thing I wrote). Our scripters can't create maps/room through scripting and even less create copies of maps (what you call template) already existing through a script and even less place furniture through a script. (script = npc/npc = script). Most of this lack of a sense, coding speaking, coding speaking. You basically say that you want an NPC to create an ID but you do not generate a new map. After that, to enter your map you have to access your ID. Leaving aside the fact that an ID (identifier) must be associated to something, on PRO there is not a way to have 20.000 players access the ""same map"" but not see each other (foreveralone aside). What you are talking about is a similar system to the dungeon-instance in wow and similar MMORPG, but what you see as "the same map" is actually not the same map. The coding part behind instances long and it would also require a lot of new functions added from DEVs. And here we fall again in the amount of time and focus it would need for something with this that community would not benefit from at all. You totally misunderstood the point. This whole project would require tons of tons of work, in a really long time and what would it achieve? Literally nothing. Once again, I explained it above but let me quote myself again: If we make just 2-3 basic templates and therefore no customizable, why would someone get one giving that inside there won't be any tutor, any spawn, any money-income source? It would be just a generic random house everyone has access to... exactly like Vermilion Pokecenter or any other building in PRO. You could tell me "Oh, but it's my space and there is only me!", if you want to have a generic room like everyone has access to (exactly like said above, as that would be the result), you can just go inside a building and in the console type foreveralone and voilĂ , you are now the only person in that generic building everyone has access to and it's free! Nothing of this gives community content, as this is not content. Nothing of this gives the player something to do/pass time with (what do you do in an empty house). Nothing of this improves the game in any way where there is something lacking. You could tell me "Yeah, but it's better having it than not!" and we would maybe agree, but new things will continue to come out one after another that will have a higher preotic than this as this has literally the lowest priority possible, and you would end up having this system coming out in the 2037. What does community benefit from (content side): Content (New Regions, Quests, etc) PVP Update (moves/abilities coded, reconnect z-moves, visual for room/stat changes, new gen, etc) PVE Update (new pve content in general like it can be a battle frontier, idk there are many examples to make) Quality of Life update (auction house, box/pc rework, event icons, etc) A lot of background updates (layering, pvp elo system, code rework to allow future updates in a more comfortable way, etc) Other stuff that are not in my mind right now in this moment. I've never seen someone "dominate", as that is a weird term in the first place. Some people leave cause they think there is no content or prefer to take a pause until the next updates comes out. This is perfectly normal and happens in every game. You definitely don't fix that by adding a weird system that absolutely gives no content to the player but just a vermilion pokecenter copy (explained this part above) that you even have to pay to access.
  21. This is something that has been suggested already many times and is a -1 from me for the following reasons. I will give my opinion as Administrator of PRO, but this is just my own personal one and doesn't necessarily reflect the one of DEVs. A housing system definitely looks appealing from the player perspective, but personally (imho) speaking it looks a really big waste of time from the Staff one and also don't think it would be something really needed or wanted by players. Introduction First of all, it's important to mention that to have a good result we should consider a complete housing system and not a half-baked one with no customization or similar as that would have no sense. I will anyway do comments about both the issues in the complete and half baked one,. It' important to say that the way maps/tiles (floor, furniture, trees, etc to make you understand) and NPCs works in a way that doesn't allow a housing system in this moment. Maps, for the one not being aware of it, are in the first place manually created through the usage of an external client. Also, a single furniture is divided in different parts that are to be placed in different layers. For example a tree is generally divided in 3/4+ parts where each part is to be placed in 4 different layers manually; sometimes the layers used are different even for the same tile if you need to achieve different results (the water/ground under the water on maps is actually a good example, but not the only one). [STAFF SIDE] The issues with the Housing System Giving what has been said above, it is currently not possible to allow a player to manually create a map and manually place a furniture into a map or in general to customize it. Some of the reasons are: DEVs would need: A lot of code-changes and also to create an editor inside the official client of PRO to manage players to place NPC/Tiles(Furniture, floor etc) Need to create an interface that allow users to create a list of allowed people that can enter a house and a way to automatically update the NPC if you want a player-house and not a guild one. ART Team would need to work on tiles, but this most likely will require a further rework from DEVs on how tiles works in game and I am not even sure this is possible CS Team would need to handle the in-game scripting part for what regard all the NPCs. Also NPCs path and rotation are hard-coded value that are customizable by the CS, but this is done through an external editor and this would require an extra work from DEVs again unless you want to have 300 NPC hidden in a map causing lot of lag. MAP Team, if we go for a half-baked Housing System with templates, will have a huge amount of work to do for those templates. I am sure that there is many many more and the DEVs can definitely expand and mention even more stuff from their end that would make it even many times more cancer than it looks now. Do take that each of the above stuff would include the entire team of the mentioned role, and therefore would remove time and work from every other aspect of the game (included the most important one). [GAME SIDE] The issues with the Housing System Exactly like the staff side, here on the game side there are as well many issues that I will try to address properly: Amount of Houses Housing system lead to the result of giving everyone the possibility to have their house and PRO to have due to that over than 20.000+ houses, and this will be definitely not possible to be handled in a comfortable way. Good to consider that if you want extension, and giving that what you described as "outside garden" is literally a second map, it will be like 40.000. If you want a second floor then that's another map and it will be 60.000+ potential and so on. "What if we do it only for guilds?" is what some of you will ask, but the answer will be the fact we have Guild Island and that is the main 'guild feature' that should not lose any appealing. Appealing What would the house/map contains? Definitely and absolutely not hunting places as that would open us to many vulnerabilities in terms of botting and similar; Definitely not money-income sources as that would damage the economy; Tutors? They are on Guild Island. If we make just 2-3 basic templates and therefore no customizable, why would someone get one giving what written here above? It would be just a generic random house like anyone you can find around any region. Conclusion PRO Absolutely do not need at all a Housing System and would not benefit at all from it (not staff or community). There are still really really really a lot of things that PRO lacks or need a rework from specific Staff Team (you can find DEVs here) and all of them are things that will objectively have a higher impact on the game and community in terms of benefit and importance. Guild Island, with some adjustment currently done by Walross (spawns) does everything necessary a Guild needs. Asking for such a suggestion to be implemented is the same as asking to put everything else (Astrella/Unova and what will come next, New Themed Pokemon and NPC Sprites for stories, all the DEV To-Do list, all the events, all the CS scripting, etc, etc) on a break for a long long time. I have tried to be as short as possible but to give the minimum of information needed about it, have a good day o/
  22. Hi there @SuperDarcks Your account should now be transferred and activated again as the issue on our end was fixed. Can you please check it? Looking forward to your reply, have a good day
  23. Ehi there, it looks like there was a misunderstanding with the staff member who communicated me your request. I have proceeded and removed you one Beedrillite, have a wonderful day and thanks for your communication about the issue. - Keita
  24. Hello there @Abdussayeb007 I am sorry for the inconvenience experienced. i have proceeded and removed you 1x Heracronite and added you 1x Beedrillite, can you please check it and let me know if you have any other question? Looking forward to your reply, have a wonderful day !
