  1. I'll focus on the PvE related part, as I believe this to be a perfect opportunity to make some suggestions on how to improve it, on the benefit of us all, which would eventually give of us a completely enjoyable experience. So here we go... What I always felt this game was lacking in order to make PvE content really enjoyable, was the deficiency of SIDELINE QUESTS. To make an example, such as the tasks Officer Jenny provides, just on a larger scale (both time/effort-wise as well as reward-wise.) The rewards wouldn't need to exclusively be some items with a high value on the market, but let's rather say some exclusive cosmetics. Beside those Officer Jenny tasks (which are only really rewarding for the newcomers), the only other sideline quests I can think of are the Celadon Daily Quest, the Solaceon Daily Quest and the Doctor Daycare Quest. If you ask me, way too low for a game that is meant to be PvE oriented. All of them haven't been updated for a really long while either (for example, you can't do the Doctor Daycare Quest in Sinnoh at all and Sinnoh was introduced almost 4 years ago. The question is why?) and as you already said, they all are also very repetitive. The Battle Tower is an another PvE oriented content, whose idea is good, but which in my opinion, is desperately craving for a revamp, or at least an update. With all the bosses and the rewards they are giving right now, I'm convinced it's not worth spending 15k Pokedollars and quarters/thirds or even halfs of an hour just to sweep the Battle Tower Challenge with the same Pokemon you use to sweep the bosses, as well as to earn 25 pve coins. Note that the Battle Tower Challenge hasn't been updated ever since it was introduced, (which was in late 2017) when there weren't as many bosses, nor were their rewards as abundant as they are nowadays. An another PvE content this game in my opinion severely lacks, are the MINIGAMES. Such as the Quack Jack minigame for example (and no, I don't want to encourage gambling, just making an example ). The original games have stuff like Pokemon Contest. Not asking any of you to implement exactly that, but just providing you with existing examples to implement some minigames within the possibilites and resources you have. The notorious "Chess Game" that was included in the Diancie quest could be one of those. The creativity and potential is enormous, just gotta find people who are actually keen enough to make it happen. One thing I really miss from the original games, which back in the day definitely wasn't possible to implement in PRO, is the Battle Factory. Now that the Random Battles are nearly coded, I believe it should be possible to implement it, as it's basically using the same concept, just against the AI under different rules and settings. The way PvE is right now (daily quests without any updates ever since they were added, boss runs, event quests that are often the same as during the previous year) are not only repetitive, but also extremely dull. I'm not a hunter myself, as that's something in what I have never found myself, so I'll be asking you this now; If I'm not willing to hunt for epics, godlies, shinies, event pokes and what not, what PvE related content is there in game right now to keep me in the game? Beside the event quests (which come a few times per year), as well as hunting, once you finish the entire main storyline, what is there for the average PvEr to do (and I'm talking only about PvE, not PvP)? That is the question every each staff that is involved in these processes should ask themselves. Don't take this as some sort of negative feedback, then rather as a constructive critique on how to actually improve the PvE part of this wonderful game
  2. I believe the poll is lacking bulky offense, offense and semi-stall as options to be voted (rather than every weather team mentioned, as those usually fall under balance, bo or offense), which will prolly result in most of the people playing those archetypes voting for balance and only a few for ho/stall. Despite my reasoning, assuming that the majority of players most likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those archetypes and some other (witnessed numerous of times people calling balance stall), the suggested options may actually be alright
  3. +1
  4. 800k azu
  5. I believe it is meant to allow players play in ranked in both servers at the same time, but with the difference being that at the end of the season, they are allowed to reach the top 25 only in one server. If that's the case, I don't see how that would make the ladder less competitive as you'd still be allowed to get a high rating in ranked on the other server. If you were referring to the potential discouragement the implementation of this rule could bring to the same people who ladder on both servers for the extra rewards/prestige, I think you're wrong to some exten as I doubt it would discourage all of them to continue playing on both, but in case it would, I'd definitely welcome it as we need more diversity, instead of running into the same people in the q all the time
  6. I can already anticipate the arguments against, but since I haven't seen anyone mention it, I'll suggest it anyway; What about making the ladder tier of one server OU and the tier of the other one UU, consistently swapping them every each season (something in the manner of the BW and XY starter spawns which used to be/still are different on both servers all the time)? I'll make an example; this way the April season in Silver would be OU, while the April season in Gold would be UU. The May season in Silver would be UU, while the May season in Gold would be OU and so on, consistently rotating the tier shifts. In case someone would be disatisfied with the tier of their domestic server, they could easily transfer freely once per month (that's also as long as a PVP season lasts), meaning they wouldn't be forced to play something they don't want. The devs and staff could make this some sort of a month or two public test/experiment first, to see whether there is general interest for such a change among the community or not and then act accordingly
  7. I agree that fixing the servers should be top in priority right now. Doing whatever it takes to at least bring them back to the level on which they used to be goes without saying
  8. Honestly I have no idea if that is the case or not, but at this point I think it's irrelevant because of the general lack of interest from the community. Considering that not a negligible amount of people playing PRO are playing first person shooters on a daily basis (such as the games from the CoD franchise or CS:GO), gotta say I'm unpleseantly surprised how little love this suggestion received
  9. Now I'm basically able to log in to both Gold and the Test Server with my alt (HjkIntoProtect), but upon trying to log in there with my main (HeroOfTheStreet), I keep receiving the same "Invalid Username or Password" message. I was almost about to write a paragraph about this (as I tried to log in dozens of times with both of my accounts during a period of 10 mins, facing some really odd difficulties), but meanwhile I realized that while I was doing it, for a while Gold was down, even though Reborn Bot didn't say so. If you want me to explain the difficulties I was facing in detail, I'll gladly send a more detailed report in a private message.
  10. Hello, It's been a while since I'm having this issue (at least ever since July when my activity in Gold was recorded the last time). Whenever I try to log in with my main (HeroOfTheStreet), as well as with my alt (HjkIntoProtect) to Gold, I basically get this message shown on the screen below: Same goes for the test server for which I heard that it is being hosted in Gold. If it helps at all, when I try to log in to Gold on my Android, the same issue occurs. I'm obviously playing on Silver with both of my accounts and I have no trouble to log in there.
  11. Yo. As the title says, for the future I'd like to suggest adding military clothes, headgear and gear/weapons as accessories. I'll make a few examples: CLOTHES: Military Uniforms; two for the infantry (the one for the forest/jungle which is the most known, usually having a combination of green, brown and black stains, as well as the one for the barren land/desert, which is usually tan), one for the airforce and one for the navy (blue) Black Ops Uniform Officer Suits (possibly with some medals on those and a different one for each military branche) HEADGEAR: Military Caps for the forest/jungle, barren land/desert and navy Military Uniforms that were mentioned above, as well as Military Helmets for the forest/jungle and the barren land/desert Military Pilot Helmet Black Ops Helmet Berets (green and red would be mandatory, other colors optional) Officer Hat Admiral Hat GEAR/WEAPONS (as accessories): Some Rifle of the M16 family Sniper Military Backpack Rocket Launcher Decorated Military Sword (mainly for the Officer Suits) All of the suggested cosmetics are meant to be modern. Depending on how much you would be willing to go deep into it, you could also make some retro unfiroms, headgear and gear from some of the historical wars. There is a variety of options. I came to the idea spontaneously and was actually surprised that nothing like this was made so far. I think it would be a win-win situation for both the staff and the playerbase. Leave your thoughts down below EDIT: Added a sniper to the Weapon section
  12. Player name: Heroofthestreet Showdown name: Heroofthestreet Server: Silver Timezone: GMT +1 Rank on ladder: 13
  13. As the title says. Def and hp pretty much near 31. Sp def and speed should be +25, but slightly below will be fine. Sp atk +20
  14. Hi. Chandelure is not the very best poke for the meta right now, but it can still be used as it has some niches, especially as a way of being a reliable switch to the dangerous mega charizard y (the ability flash fire is a necessity on it right now), as well as a check to some super common threats, such as mega scizor. Equipped with a choice scarf, with its great special attack, it can serve as both a revenge killer and bulky offense/balance breaker, while also being able to pivot around some stuff. That being said (since you want it paired up with garchomp), I'd recommend using them both in a decent, bulky offense team. My suggestion would be something like choice band tyranitar (on this kind of team it should have some hp investment in order to survive a +1 earthquake from mega charizard x), some bulky variant of swords dance mega scizor (prolly impish with u-turn), scarf chandelure, tank chomp (impish garchomp with rocky helmet, rocks and fire blast). Bold rotom-w as the defoger and the other part of the volturn core and an assault vest hidden power ice tangrowth, in order to deal with rain and some other stuff the team is weak to. You can check the sets for majority of these pokes on smogon. Hope I helped
  15. Ah, yeah. It was actually taken away by Avast. I didn't check beforehand as I already made that exception many months ago. Sometime after that I deleted the game and haven't played it for more than three months, so that must've been the reason why the antivirus has put it back on the list of threats. I added an exception for it now. Let's see how it goes, although I suppose it should all be fine now. Thanks for the help
  16. During the past few days, while I was playing PRO on my pc, the game randomly crashed for me. I quickly logged in and tried to log in with both of my accounts (obviously in two seperate windows). The game instatnly crashed and the PROClient.exe file got removed from my PRO Folder (everything else remained intact there). When I tried to extract it back, I was being asked by the system for an admin permission (which I have btw and it seeked the admin permission only for puting the PROClient.exe). I continued and it refused to put the PROClient.exe in the folder. Later I somehow managed to do it by having multiple folders in the same folder (then the system allowed me to put it there). Today it happened again, in a pretty much similar scenario. This time I managed to normally extract the entire PRO folder (including the PROClient.exe file), without any complications (i wasn't asked for admin permission and such). Shortly after it happened today, I was randomly talking with a friend of mine, just to realize the same happened to him, with the difference being that he wasn't opening two seperate PRO windows at once. We both use windows 10 and avast antivirus
  17. I'm glad someone finally spoke about this. Too bad it's not getting any attention. Definitely a +1 from my side
  18. Very entertaining. + for the effort
  19. +1. Nothing else to add
  20. Speed: +30 Everything else: +20
  21. It's interesting how the players with no respectable success in pvp are smacking the - (minus) on their comments. To make things clear, the only time I had a problem facing Aegislash (to some extent) was when the opponent was skilled enough to use it properly (Swaglordx from above). It could be argued that for the same reason Greninja isn't considered to be broken in PRO, although it should've been banned a long time ago. I definitely don't want a new 'Gren' roaming in the fields of PRO pvp, as it's obviously unhealthy for the meta to thrive. That being said, a solid + for the ban of either king's shield or the entire mon from my side
