  1. As many of you didn't fully understand how it was meant, we give a short explanation of some things. Difficulty levels: Easy: Pokemon have no EVs (slightly stronger than E4). Medium: Pokemon have 252 EVs (slightly stronger than current bosses). Hard: Pokemon have 400 EVs (slightly harder than current superbosses). Eggs: - Eggs will be sync- and tradable. - You will probably be able to buy eggs with PvE Coins. - Eggs will be named after the Pokemon that's in the egg, so it's not mysterious at all (Charmander Egg for example). No guaranteed shiny rewards: - This does not mean you don't have any shiny chance for eggs. - Pokemon that can only be shiny as a reward (Magikarp for example) will be removed. Remove PvP Coin items: - We are talking about Choice Scarf and PvP shop exclusive mounts. - Consumable will still be obtainable. Restriction for bosses: This only counts for bosses and not for the players. That means bosses can not have megas or more than 2 legendaries anymore. Rewards: - Obviously, not all bosses will have the same eggs and items as rewards. - 20-40k money rewards might be a nerf for some bosses but a buff overall. You currently get around $800.000 for a boss run while it will change to 1,2-2,4m afterwards (as we have around 60 bosses). - You can get the same rewards at every difficulty level, the chance to get a higher tier rewards raises with the difficulty level. - Bosses such as Brock will still keep Fossils etc. Those rewards are just an example to understand the concept. The money reward from 5-26k will be changed from 12-30k.

  2. To make boss drops rng based is the worst thing u can do. Rng is not fair. 60% t1 chance for doing the hardest boss isn't fair imo. U can compare it to a toge flinch. And we all know how often a toge flinches. I would highly appreciate if u add specific drops for each difficulty. It is unfair for the guys that goes for the hardest difficulty. Easy difficulty shouldn't be able to get any t3 rewards. And hardest shouldn't be able to get any t1 reward. The fact that this is rng is not balanced and I will promise u if you don't change this the boss revamp will be bad and many players will loose the motivation to play this game.   4. Would appreciate if you read it to the end. It can affect u aswell. My detailed opinion about the changes. Difficulty Levels: I agree with the Easy difficulty. Sligthly stronger seems ok and is a challenge after u have done the story. Medium: Pokemon have 252 EVs (slightly stronger than current bosses). Hard: Pokemon have 400 EVs (slightly harder than current superbosses). I dont agree with the medium and hard difficulty. The fact that a poke has 252 evs on every stat makes it unfair. The enemy Pokemon is bulky, fast and dangerous because of the high atk/spatk stats. The fact that a enemy Poke can use moves to make it even stronger makes it even more dangerous. Few Example: There is a few pokes that uses 1hko moves like Machamp, Lapras and Walrein from a few bosses. Lapras and Walrein are tanky and will survive a attack from u for sure or even more. 1hko moves is based on level difference. A "nerf" of the level to downgrade all boss pokes to lvl 100 would solve the problem. Or you put the accuracy of the 1hko moves to 30 acc or you completely remove them from the movepool. Pokemon that doesnt outspeed u in general will outspeed you because it has additional speed on evs. The common way to beat a boss is the usage of setup mons. The bag ban is not necessary and unfair aswell. I agree with the point of NamelessHero27. Bosses crits and burns way 2 many times which makes ur poke useless. The ev changes on a few pokes are unbelievable. Especially on pokes with a high base stat on every stat. In combination with abilitys can be broken aswell. Unaware with a boost on every stat is incredible. So you need to take the best counter against that poke which cant kill you instantly. Which takes 1 slot out of 6 already. The hard difficulty is even more broken. The stats should be tested with different teams and different evs. It is way easier to judge if u can compare. (btw i would appreciate it Wally if you give me the opportunity to be a tester aswell) I have a lot of ingame hours and i did my bosses frequently. I would appreciate a nerf of this current difficultys. A balanced evs on the difficulty look like this: Medium: 252 Evs on atk and spatk and 100 on every other stat which makes a total EV of: 904 The hard difficulty should be a challenge for advanced trainers. Hard: 400 Evs on atk and Spatk and 200 on every other Stat which makes a total EV of: 1600 All difficultys should have a cap of lvl 100. No 1hko moves. Hard should own some pokes with haste or something like that to avoid a sweep from a set up mon like snorlax or any other mon. And all pokemon should have the best possible nature and ability. Focus sash shouldnt be a holdable item for bosses. It could take down the natural counter of that poke. Eggs: Sounds ok. No opinion and experience about this so i will skip this point. No guaranteed shiny rewards: Have nothing to add. Sounds good i also agree with this point. Trash and not usable shiny or no shiny doesnt make a big difference. Remove PvP Coin items: Makes sense. Pvp Exclusive should be PvP Exclusive. Maybe there is a option to make PvE items? :thinking: So people should be rewarded to do PvE. Consumables should still drop cause u can use them in PvE aswell. Restriction for Bosses: Kinda sad that there is no Mega anymore. Maybe there should be 1 in the hard difficulty. A maximum of 2 legendary Pokemon. Sounds good but is still op if u have a arceus or a unaware mewtwo or a shadow lugia against u. Maybe u can compensate this with balanced legendarys in team. Shiny or form Pokemon. Well idk sounds deco for me. Shiny or not shiny. If they have the same stats doesnt make a change at all. The different is just different. You can also make all pokes shinys. Wouldnt make a different for me. Teams should be discussed with testers that has a lot of experience. Hope u make a few conditions to select good tester. For example at least 2000h of playtime or w/e. Customize text is a deco point again. Would be good but not necessary at all. Its just something for the eye. The rewards: This is the most important point of this post. We do bosses to get some rewards so the best comes at the end. Well lets start. I dont agree with the tier rewards. I had a post earlier. Boss rewards shouldnt be rng based! There should be no chance to get this or this. If you do easy u get a random reward from the easy tier. If you do medium difficulty u should get a random reward from the medium tier. And for hard obviously the same. This tiers gives a big variety to the rewards. The tiers could be different by item values, how many u get and the rarity or the Poke eggs u can get. Like a tier 1-4 poke from easy difficulty. 5-7 in medium and 8-9+ tier pokes in the hard difficulty. Or based on item values and how much you can get from each item. U have a lot more selection on every boss and different rewards. Specific bosses (Brock etc) should still drop specific and themed rewards. A 60% chance (hard difficulty) to get a tier 1 is waaaaay to unfair. You can find a detailed opinion in a post earlier from me. Good and average player shouldnt be punished for doing the hardest difficulty. They should be rewarded. They put way more afford into it. Spent more time and think about strategies and so on. There should be also money tiers. Easy should have a random drop rate between 2 price ranges. It could look like this: Easy: 5-10k (300k-600k) Medium: 15-20k (900k-1,2m) Hard: 25-30k (1,5m-1,8m) This is what i think about the current boss changes. Its one of the less motivations i still play this game. So i need to say something before people with less playtime and no experience about bosses ruines me that motivation aswell. I like that u want to change something but do it in a right and balanced way and dont take the last motivation from many players. It could give the game a new freshness. It could also help the economy which is pretty much rip. If you find any grammatical mistakes, misspellings etc. keep it for u and thank you for reading this post. Greetings

  5. The fact is do a full boss run is time consuming. Doing it after the revamp, will be even more time consuming, since Bosses will be harder. The main point I would suggest to change, to not make the whole end game experience a full frustating stall battle, it's remove the bag ban from hard mode. It will totally be not funny with the bag ban. Even more after we get hitted by bosses perma crit or burn or whatever. It's not pvp, it's pve. Think about that, having the bag allowed will solve part of the problem of people considering it too hard. Second main problem, is the fact that bosses are too far each other. It's very boring to reach them What I suggest? To make a huge change to that too. How? First of all, divide all bosses in 3 categories: Gym leader bosses (Misty, Surge, etc), Special Bosses (like PC Boss, Terminator), Staff Boss (Neroli, etc). For the first category, gym bosses, what I suggest is to use the same Koichi system. When you first find Koichi, inside Saffron dojho, he has a white name, as a regular npc. After you beat him, he turns Red, as a Boss. Do the same for Gym Bosses. When you defeat a Gym Leader in story, he/she turns Red and became the boss. Special Bosses: you can find an use to an unused tower, this would require some works from mappers, but not too much. Where? Example: The Battle Tower in Johto! You make mappers build a base floor with a PC (with Joy) and a mart (like E4) and then a couple of floor with some dedicated room, and the special bosses inside them. Staff Bosses: the same as before, but in another unused place: Tower in Trainers Valley. I would say this would require Trainers valley to became a little cheaper for people who don't have trains pass. Think about this please. It would remove two of the most problematic thing about bosses and the revamp. Thanks.

Restrictions for bosses - No megas anymore. - Disagree, I think if there should be a mega on a boss team it should reflect on the character has their signature poke i.e. Misty and Brock with their Mega Gyarados and Steelix respectively. A special animation for a signature poke will be cool as well. Just spit balling as I go along, Fair warning given^^. - A maximum of 2 legendary Pokemon. - Agreed. - A maximum of 1 shiny or form Pokemon. - Agreed, still with the new animation or something along those lines just to up the anti a little bit. However short it may be. - No guaranteed shiny rewards anymore. - Disagree. Progressive Economy Structure?? Will be tackling the chosen economy module for this game (or lack thereof) in my up coming post. - Teams have to be discussed with testers. - Agreed. - Remove all PVP Coin items from boss rewards. - No. Will elaborate a bit later has you read on. - Every boss needs custom messages that have character. - Agreed. Doesn't always have to inspirational or overall cheerful when the player has won/loss. Spiteful/meme'd in victory or defeat is welcomed. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Possible template There are 3 difficulty levels: Easy: Pokemon have no EVs. Hard: 400 EVs on all Pokemon, you can't use items. - Should this module be employed, I disagree on removing items for being the solution to make the aspect of a boss fight harder when there are poke types, team ordering, & move-countering-movesets to be exploited. Also critical hit is a thing with 400evs backing up a team of 6 pokes. - 400 EVs is excessive. We faint pokes, not murder. - Not every match should be a speed issue where we are forced to bring a team of tanks to take a hit and then retaliate. - Also, Reasoning for advocating for items: Pulling of a comeback is a greater gaming experience than seeing my bank capitol rise. Suck it Cynthia and your legendary team can bite me. Yeah, thats battle tower, but it's the feels I am trying to convey. - All Pokemon have the best possible natures and abilities. - Correct nature, but random abilities - All Pokemon have 31 IVs and are level 100. - I say IV's of "21+ - 31" & "25+ - 31," are to be assigned to bosses based on how high their ranking is known to be. Kinda adds a new dimensional view on boss's achievements has being characters. With randomized IVs across all poke's stats for all of the bosses within a range of being a better trainer/elitist then the next boss. Feels less mechanical facing a perfect IV boss computer team and more of a accomplished trainer/elite/boss. - Medium and Hard have held items. - Only for higher tier bosses as stated from the idea and principles from above. Find a new solution for medium bosses. - Easy doesn't give a win for the third-win reward. - Disagree. Simple Module to follow here: "If low payout and no specific boss reward = No incentive to vs boss." A boss with no 3rd time reward and low payout will just be stagnating and waste of coding. Also a quote from -[uSER=2014378] StarkV[/uSER]: "Some people don't like to hunt for hours and just try their luck at bosses to get synced pokemon." -Agreed - You have to be the region champion to challenge the boss chosen - Agreed. The hours requirements needs be abolished. Current state of the game is either one of two things: If you can't/don't want to PVP > Vs bosses > if you don't meet requirements > do PVP. We are grinding either way for pokes and teams in the long run not for empty hours to play some content. This was a disaster of a mistake to have been upheld for so long. Aspects of fun/content shouldn't be locked out to a player based on something we are not in control off. Main reason is sometimes not having a team to beat a boss, or we do have a team and the boss doesn't payout well. Players will still gravitate to what they think is feesable for them to do within progression of the game. Instead of slaving away to a forced module. So update is the plan, I don't like it. why? well, I spend a huge amount of time just thinking of ways to beat the BOSS who is suppose to be tier 3 boss. this is totally fine because BOSS is actually worth it. he gives you good amount of money good possible rewards ..etc however I don't see that 20k-40k and a rare pokemon is actually worth all the trouble because they are everywhere.. and a new player most likely can't beat these hard bosses, who should be the only one can make a good use of pokemons and such small amount of money.. not to mention you have to wait a really long amount of time in order for any boss to respwan and the fact that if you are faced by bad luck (even if you are about to win your 3rd win) you can never hope to win against CRITs without items ofc... finally, if you are going to rework it's totally fine but I think alot of players will not be interested in bossing anymore. and please don't make pvp exclusive items, people like me who don't pvp and don't like to pvp will be the only ones to suffer (not to mention it's already very rare drop)

  8. This doesn't give me a motivation to fight the boss, those rewards i can get from hunting, but why I hav to fight the boss to get their eggs? Since BOSS not giving PVP items, so, is PRO now encouraging PVP? OR is PRO trying to make PVE coins more valuable?

  9. With the 3 difficulty modes, I think T1 should be 100% for easy, T2 should be 100% for medium and T3 should be 100% for hard. This way you could pick your difficulty based on the reward you want and there would still be slight RNG so you wouldn't be given guaranteed boss exclusive items/pokemon every time but wouldn't have to wait for the 3rd time reward to get it.

  10. Hey, I have some suggestions regarding the current PC-System. I am aware that this is low priority, but I am pretty sure that it is a really good and wanted QoL change. I saw similar posts, but those did not match entirely with the thoughts I had about the PC. If you like or dislike any of them, please leave a reply in this topic. 1. Naming Boxes. PvP-Box, PvE-Box, Shiny Box etc. I know it is possible to sort it like that with a bit of effort but the naming would make the whole sorting way more pleasant. 2. Adding and naming Categories One Box consists of 5 Rows which contain 3 Pokémon each. Adding a [-] Split function to split the Box in two Categories (which both can be named) containing 6 Pokémon each for a full team (12 per splitted box) would be great. This would be especially useful for entire PvP teams, but can be used to sort a lot of different things aswell. 3. Free movement in the box. Each Slot in every box should be usable for any Pokémon no matter how much we caught or if those are filled with Pokémon. This would allow us to use the last boxes for PvP-Teams (using the Split function), Shinys, Boss-Pokémon etc. whilst the boxes in the front will not be messed up by (or simply used for) catching new wild Pokémon. 4. Checking and mass-deleting Pokémon. Adding a simple checkbox to every Pokémon and being able to click a trashcan to release all of them together. This will prevent the time consuming and annoying process of releasing every single Pokémon slowly, especially after catching hundreds. 5. Mark favorites. Small, not needed change I thought about. Marking Pokémon with a little star and being able to only show those. This is for example useful to mark epic or just really good Pokémon when you caught hundreds of the same kind to differentiate those from the bad (and hopefully mass-delete the rest).   12. This is ridiculous, nobody can beat a level 120 poke with 400 evs 31x6 and h.a. without items. And even if u get to beat one boss, 20-40k reward is a joke. Also where is the difference between the eggs and the normal pokemon bossdrops except of that it will be more complicated ? And can you give more information about the shiny chances of those eggs or shiny chances of bossdrops after this update in general ? Sorry but from what i read here, the only good thing about this revamp would be the removal of the requirements imo.

  14. -Remove egg feature,tier 3 reward pokes should be synchable,its removing all the "reward" aspect from it,giving us players less reason to do the bosses. -Make 6x Easy wins eligable for 3rd time rewards -Remove item usability for npc from "medium" difficulty. -Decrease tier 1 reward chance for hard difficulty & and increase pve coin rewards -If you are removing guaranteed shiny rewards increase the odds of getting a shiny from a boss by a large amount. Just a few ideas to make the update "better".Ill edit some more if i get more ideas.

  17. I want to suggest the move Wish for Chansey and Blissey... I know it is an event move, but it's allowed in Showdown, so why not? Actually, all the event moves should be added... It really annoys me that PRO still doesn't have them.

  18. I like this changes, just maybe the difficulty of Hard bosses maybe to change. We have to remind that bosses like hax. So i don't like the idea of not using items, 3-4 consecutives crits can happen quick :( And reduce the number of bosses, we have a lot now. I prefer seeing the total amount of money we gain on bosses reduced than doing bosses all the time instead of playing PRO. Actually, bosses are the best way to make money, it's hard to not do it.

  20. It's good to know that eggs will be syncable. I would only like to suggest, increase hard mode rewards. It's not certain that you will win every time in hard mode, 1 crit from boss and your whole strategy will be void and bosses have insane luck with crits from my experience. So you will definitely not be making 1.2-2.4m as stated. Also 60 bosses is a bit too much imo, i would rather fight 40 bosses for 30-60k and decent other rewards.

  24. These are massive changes to a part of the game that is very original and has encouraged players to be curious and adventurous. Although some of the changes are good ideas I think some of them could destabilize the economy and possibly demotivate players from fighting certain bosses that have been favorites in the past. I'm not sure how pve bosses that are involved with quests will be affected (to sleepy to think of any besides erika right now but I know theres a couple). And to be honest the bosses being hard was a good thing! Its challenging to take a npc that has an advantage against you such as megas or legendaries. I agree some bosses do need revamp because of various reasons. I dont like the idea of generic rewards based on tier of difficulty though. :/ each boss having its own reward was the excitement of getting a new boss added to game periodically. But anyway thats my opinion I'm going back to sleep. Nighty night!

Rewards: - 20-40k money rewards might be a nerf for some bosses but a buff overall. it's a insane buff overall IMO with the addition of "no time play requirements anymore" -You currently get around $800.000 for a boss run while it will change to 1,2-2,4m afterwards (as we have around 60 bosses). with 20-40k reward we would get 1.8m in average for entire boss run compared to 800k right now. I think 1.8m every 15 days is way too much, there will be no requirements anymore in time play to challenge boss so it would be really easy to setup a 4 account boss farm (2 email with 2 acc each as allowed in the multi account rules), rush story with a new acc can be done in like 30h, with 4 acc we could farm 14.4 m every month in average i think there would be no other relevant farm if you make boss that much rewarding I think the econnomy could be affected a lot more than expected with this modification Maybe keep the time requirements to prevent multi account farm or reduce the number of boss to keep the 800k for an entire boss run Right now i'm farming only the boss that gives 10k+ cash and i get around 700k for each boss run, it's already the best farm available in the game in my opinion, there is no need to buff boss that much Maybe you plan to make the hard mode really hard but after people figure out how to beat them they won't be that hard anymore, by the way i'm pretty sure my current boss team can clear a hard boss without problems, lvl 100 with 400 ev doesn't seems that hard with dedicated PVE pokemons another solution could be to make boss harder to beat for each win in a row to make sure 100/100 win is impossible at least in hard mode

  26. Currently, I don’t find bosses fun or useful to do (except from bosses you must win against for dex data or story progress). Many of us like the game as it is because we find at least one aspect interesting : for me it’s hunting godly pokemons to enhance my pvp teams, for others it could be trade pokemons to make more and more money etc. If you want to encourage people to fight bosses, in my opinion that’s not the good way to do it. « Force » people to use stall team (because there’s no other way to run all bosses without it being a waste of time AND money) to win such uninteresting rewards (eggs ? Lol) No need for items or berries, just put money and only money.

  27. My suggestion would be 300 EVs so in total would have 600 EVs, and we cant use Items. I believe 400 EVs are ALOT from 252 to 400 .... why not 300? still hard but not as hard. Again, indeed its a buff overall, but i believe its not worth. As it is now, where u have 60 bosses, but only 20 gives you decent cash + decent rewards + they are located in places not hard to reach. Because if u change dificulty, buff slightly the bosses that most ppl do even do, and nerf those that everyone does, u still think it will be a buff? Again Overall might be, but in reality it wont. To do all 60 bosses, which they are spread the whole map, takes time + harder matches will imply more time, AND since bosses got buffed hard, only stall/some strats will be effective to beat them. All of these things will lead to waste time, as it is now it takes almost a full day to beat every boss. Suggestion: Either Buff rewards by removing some bosses (lets say former staffers, anything) so u keep the overall cash, with less bosses. Change Locations so everyboss is located in a City/Town or near by. And i think that we could use the House located at Lavander Town, to implement there some new bosses (Champions of ea Montly Tournament) but all gather in the same place. PS: Plz remove the Mecha Mewtwo, i belive is stupidly strong

BAD For e.g :- (1)- if i defeat a boss at hard level (400 evs+best nature and item+ ability 0-0 ) i still only have 15% chance for tier 3 reward And what are the tier 3 rewards(20-40k Not good enough for me, and eggs... How am i gonna sync eggs xd) (2) I Think it is time that a boss has some rewards from shop (not pvp shop) e.g:- bms,small ms, etc -1 Sorry

  32. The biggest thing this year is the Server merge, I think. Excavation site has two new areas and Trainer Valley gets a revamp (you now can catch one of the Regi Trio), while Pinkan Island is now an endgame leveling zone as well. A few Pokemon are finally released in the wild too, such as Sigilyph and Cryogonal.

  36. +1 . but i dont like this one/ because: Hard: 400 EVs on all Pokemon, you can't use items. ^ /Is very hard ? pokemons at hard with already hold itens+ ability etc its gonna be insane without usable items. ^this really depends on the team that boss have . if i go against a pokemon that can wipe my full team/at least part of it this will be to much hard. question if i lose at hard can i try medium? or coldown will be teh same for all dificulty tier?

  37. -1 -Eggs seems pointless to me, nothing special about them except that they can't be synced which is one of the rewarding feature of bosses. I would suggest boss pokemon rewards to remain syncable. Some people don't like to hunt for hours and just try their luck at bosses to get synced pokemon and some pokemon are exclusive to bosses so no way to get them synced doesn't seem good to me. -Hard mode rewards seem low considering the difficulty, 60% chance to still get t1 (berries after hardwork, nice troll) is pretty high imo. And low money reward tbh, all purpose of doing bosses would be gone.

  39. -1 all bosses should have different rewards imo. this takes all of the use out of bosses. if all have the same reward possibilities it's pretty pointless imo. i don't like the idea presented for rewards, but the boss difficulties are definitely a good idea. i think the rewards should be rarer things as bosses get more difficult, not based on tiers. some bosses should keep their shiny reward, like letrix shiny magikarp. basically if all rewards are the same, and there's not really the ability for shiny chance(which 99% of the time people pick), bosses will lose their significance big time. some people rely on bosses to make money, get PVP items, etc. and i think that's the way they should stay. the current boss system isn't broken by any means, so why do something to change it?

  40. IN MY OPINION.. bosses are there to help 200-600h ish players that want to get into pvp, its a way to get items, money and maybe nice mons. So the idea of giving eggs away that arent syncable and the money nerf seems wrong for me. edit: In my humble opinion. I think if u wanna make the game grow more you u gotta find a way to get people into pvp faster cause its what most of the players are here for. Sorry if im being disrespectfull, I love the idea of the bosses revamp! I've only 245h so maybe experienced players think differently!

  42. I think that removing Pvp Items from Reward in Boss is wrong, I have many, but there are many new players that do not have them and the method defeating a boss is viable to get them. What about the 1/4000 .. the truth, I gave Reward shiny many times, and never came out 1 . It was too much that Reward I think. And to increase the difficulty and quantity of Bosses seems to me a wonderful idea, in turn, incorporating Egg's Pokemon. And maybe in the future, Mega stones like 3th reward.

  43. It seems like money reward from bosses will hava huge nerf. This is one thing I don't like. Reward like current PC Boss, Pewdie, Love Island, and others, will be missed. And also, to get a decent amount of cash you will have to face always strong bosses with no items allowed.

  44. Are these rewards just examples of possible rewards or is this for every boss because I like the variety of getting other possible pokemon or items from different bosses better. Also, will we be able to sync the Pokemon or get a possible shiny poke because I liked this a lot when doing bosses. I love everything else though, the different tiers is an awesome idea. ^^

  46. Both Windows and Video drivers were updated, so it was not the issue. Anyways, I'm playing again. In case someone is facing a similar issue, the solution was downloading and using the x86 architecture client (32bit), instead of x64 (which is the architecture of my system).

  47. Hello, To beat Hannah with Seaking you need to first beat Houndoom, then let Machamp use Thunder Punch on your Lightning Rod Seaking 6 times for maximum special attack boost. During those 6 turns you can also use Agility 3 times to obtain Maximum speed, that way you will outspeed her Metagross. If you can not oneshot it with Seaking, give it a Focus Sash to hold to ensure it survives 1 hit. If none of that works, Eviolite Chansey or Snorlax are both good options to beat Hannah.
