Good afternoon to all players of the Gold server, I am pleased to announce the 2nd Edition of the Tournament between Guilds. Which is being organized by, Chroll0, Hen1 and myself, with the sole purpose of diversion and increase of competitiveness in the Gold server. Players who are interested in participating with their guild or audience can enter the Discord. DISCORD: https://discord.gg/TwWsAtP INFORMATION 1. The Tournament by majority vote will be held in Showdown. 2. PRO ranked rules are applied. 3. Registration is open for ALL Guilds with interest in participation, it does not matter if your Guild is Top or not, you are welcome. Said, they close on 13/03/2019 at 10:00 Pm [GMT-5]. 4. Each participating Guild must have 8 players, and if possible, 3 reserve, so that extensive Guilds can give the greatest number of players their chance to participate. 5. The cost of entry by Guild is 1.2m, that indicates that each player must provide 150k, which must be given to their leader and then delivered to an organizer. PRIZES First of all, it is estimated that at least 10 Guilds can participate, for the moment, there are 7 confirmed. If the 10 Guilds were completed, they would meet 12m and be distributed as follows. 1st place: 6m 2nd place: 4m 3rd place: 2m It should be noted that the Slots are unlimited, and these awards will vary.3 points

I am not a Trade Moderator however it seems like there is a big misconception on why this rule is so important and why we have it that way. The importance of this rule will hopefully be more clear for all of you after my post. This is a right every auctioneer and almost every auction house has, it is not uncommon that auctions get canceled due to the amount of offers or the quality of the offers. The keyword is a reserve price, which is a set minimum that has to be reached before a sale can happen. This price is not known to bidders. The equivalent in our case is that the user has the right to cancel the auction if he is not satisfied with the outcome of the auction. The rules are public available prior to an auction start in the real world henceforth we require all auction rules to be stated prior to the auction start. It is your decision whether or not you participate in the auction if you disagree with their rules. Source: General Rules Of Auction - Ian Wyles, Rules of Auction - Leo Auctioneers & Wikipedia - Reservation price A big misconception, the seller does not care whatsoever who the buyer is. In the end it comes down to the final price and whether or not it reached the expectations of the auctioneer. You have explained it very well yourself, so this is a contradicting statement. The minimum price/start price is somewhat different from an expected price. It is very obvious that in most cases the start price is not what the auctioneer wants, rather something he/she feels comfortable with having users' start with. The instant price is set for most auctions and solves all the issues you are having with this. You don't want to invest the time, "feelings" or money into an auction, simply instant buy it for the price the auctioneer is comfortable giving up their Pokemon. A very far stretch of what the rules say, you can't prove that there wasn't intent to sell just because the auction was canceled. Also on a personal note, almost all price checks are either random, from uninformed people or just false to confuse the seller. The price is always decided by supply/demand and the emotional attachment some users' have to their Pokemon, some may want way more than other users' just because of x-y-z reasons. I'll be solely focusing on real world auction houses here. It is true that last minute bidding is a thing however you also have last calls which we do not have. A very good example of everything above included: . This video should provide you with not only a good example how the reserve price plays a role but also that last minute bidding is not really possible as you have last calls (3 last calls every time there is a new highest bidder). The second example would be an eBay auction where the highest offer gets beaten at 4 seconds before the auction ends and at about half a second before it actually ended: . Do you believe this system is fair and if so how does one explain the emotional investment that gets wasted, the money that is occupied during the auction that can't be used for other things. There are two sides to this issue and no easy solution however we try to make it the least frustrating experience possible. I'll throw it back at you, "only 8 people" are complaining and not hundreds or thousands from this community. Is it really that big of an issue like you are portraying it. Indeed only Logan took the time to disagree with you in this thread but please keep in mind that every rule adjustment or rule addition has to be discussed within moderation channels and admins have to approve them. The vast majority of moderation staffs agree with this rule, especially the ones who are enforcing this (Trade Moderators). And at last: This is the least of our worries when changing, adding or adjusting rules. We will reply to all complaints to the best of our ability and explain everything in the smallest detail if really needed but if you fundamentally disagree with the rule then no explanation in the world will change that. Anyway I hope this clarified at least some of your concerns, the rule in itself is good to protect the seller from abusive buyers (purposely low bidding, only bidding until the final seconds before the auction ends). The seller is protected by having to set his own auction rules and the buyer is protected by simply not participating in auctions that he doesn't agree with. This is a solid middle-ground otherwise we will have an unbalance in favor of buyer or in favor of the seller. Have a nice week. :) Kind regards, Q83 points

Hello again, so here the winner should be Wakko16 indeed. After reviewing the auction, the T-Mod team decided that the 10m offer by Wakko16 at 7:13 PM (as we can also see on the screen) was valid. As the first post announced the auction would end 5 days after the first bid (which was 7:13 here), we allow bids until 7:13:59 since we can't prove at which second the first bid/post was made. If he clearly stated at first, without any edit "Auction ends at 7:13", then we wouldn't have accepted offers after 7:13:00, but here it was after first bid. Wakko16 is the winner of the auction with 10m offer. Thank you for participating. Kind regards, Artorias.2 points

Complaining about "sniping" is equivalent to complaining that people are bidding on your pokemon within the allotted time that you, as the auctioneer has determined. If you don't want people bidding at the last second then you shouldn't have an auction, you should have an instant price because you don't actually want everyone to have a fair chance at the pokemon, you just want a certain dollar amount. If you had a better chance at securing a pokemon you wanted, why wouldn't you take that advantage? Last minute bidding is a part of every auction in the world and other games. Ebay, Estate sales, bidding on storage units, Auction houses in any other video game (Which, if one is being implemented into PRO, will allow you to bid within a certain time frame. Everyone will bid at the last minute so that there is less time for other users to respond. This is the basic functionality of an auction.). Why not try and actually emulate what the auction house is going to be? This is the only "economy" that actually tries to remove power from the people who wish to participate to enable sellers who want to get certain prices and sell pokemon only if they get their price. If you are willing to put something up for auction, that means you are willing to sell it. It should be as simple as that. If you are not actually willing to sell it, it breaks the rules because it is a fake sale. My previous point outlines that in detail. Do these two statements not completely contradict each other? Did you not change a rule because of many people suggesting a rule change? Is that not what this thread is also doing? Suggesting a tweak to the rules? I am just curious as to what makes those suggestions different than these suggestions.2 points

I am sorry about any inconvinience you faced because of that rule. Indeed, the auctioneers reserve the right to cancel their auction, if they mentioned that in their auction rules, before the auction starts. With that way, sellers are protected by last minute "sniping" and they feel safe. Buyers are not forced to participate in an auction with such rule, but if they do, they have to accept all rules the auctioneer set. With my experience, cancelling an auction is not really common. Always and without exception, when an auction is not properly handled by both auctioneer and bidders, it will result to at least one user being disappointed. Bidder or Auctioneer, we do not want disappointed users, but we cannot avoid it without an Auction House, a long-term solution, that would make Trade Environment better, more reliable and trustworthy, our users happier and our job easier. Our Developers plan to implement it in the future and until then Staff Members try to revise and revamp the Rules once per while, in order to achieve the maximum possible reliability for Auctions, protect the sellers so we have an active Auction environment and also, protect bidders(Trade Rule 13,14). Cancelling this rule without another counterweight is not under consideration neither will be. Although, if we find another possible solution as counterweight to last minute "sniping", we could have a change. Yes, it actually exists and also, I wouldn't compare real life with any Game. Users cannot request a rule to change. We are opened in feedback and suggestions, but it doesn't mean we are forced neither can be manipulated to change a rule. Also, Staff is not afraid to face any complaints. There are valid and invalid complaints and we answer them accordingly. The rule was implemented, because of lots complaints regarding last minute sniping. A lot of users still do it. As sellers have to accept last minute offers, the same way buyers have to accept the specific auction rule, if written. Kind regards, Logan2 points

Cześć, jeśli jesteś graczem z Polski i interesuje Cię wspólna gra w przyjaznym community z Twojego kraju - trafiłeś w dobre miejsce! Hello everyone and welcome to the World Quest and Mysterious Island Guide. This guide has information about the newly introduced World Quest and what you can do with the rewards that you get from being victorious. If you have any questions feel free to state them below. The World Quest is a server-wide event that gives the whole server a task that has to be completed within 24 hours from the time it was started. You can get more information by talking to the Mysterious Cultist located in any of the four port cities, being Vermilion City, Olivine City, Lilycove City or Canalave City. There is a guarenteed World Quest happening on every first day of the month. Keep in mind that this event can also be started manually, giving players more options of getting a Mysterious Ticket. What this item does will be explained below. The Mysterious Cultist will take one Pokemon out of a list with Tier 8 and Tier 9 Pokemon to hunt for every time the World Quest gets triggered. Each server has to hunt the Pokemon that is announced in a System Message and submit, together as a whole server, a total of 160.000 to 190.000 IVs every time the World Quest is active. Submitting a Pokemon to the Mysterious Cultist will count towards the total requirement and subtract it from the total amount. On a sidenote, every Pokemon that gets submitted gets deleted permamently, you will not be able to get it back after submitting it. Therefore, think twice before giving the Mysterious Cultist your precious Pokemon. In order to get a Mysterious Ticket, you have to submit 0.5% of the total amount of IVs that is required. As an example, if the server needs to hunt Solosis with 85653 IVs total, you need to submit at least 429 IVs to get a ticket. You also have the chance to get a second ticket in every event, which you will get by submitting 3% of the total amount of IVs that is required. With the same example of total IVs, you would need to hand in at least 2570 IVs. You do not have to count the IVs yourself. Simply talk to the Cult Accountant next to the Mysterious Cultist in Vermilion City if you want to check the amount of IVs you have submitted in the current event. If the whole server manages to submit the total amount of IVs that were asked for and you submitted at least 0.5% of that amount, you will receive a Mysterious Ticket upon interacting with the Mysterious Cultist once the World Quest is finished. The Mysterious Ticket is a ticket that allows you to access Birth Island by talking to the Mysterious Captain at the Vermilion City Harbor. You have the chance to encounter all of the Legendary Counterparts that you were not able to capture previously. Keep in mind that you have to capture at least one of the following Legendaries in order to be able to catch its counterparts on Birth Island: | | | Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie | Entei, Raikou, Suicune | Latias, Latios | Regice, Regirock, Registeel In order to balance out this awesome opportunity, you have about the same chance to encounter a Legendary as a Pseudo-Legendary, which will have its Hidden Ability. You can encounter one of the following Pseudo-Legendaries: Dragonite, Garchomp, Goodra, Hydreigon, Lucario, Metagross, Rotom, Salamence, Tyranitar, Volcarona, Zoroark These available Pokemon cannot be shiny on Birth Island! Once you enter the Birth Island, your Mysterious Ticket will be removed from the inventory and one of the Pokemon above will spawn. Until you capture the Pokemon that was spawned, run away from it or faint against it will remain on the same spot. Therefore, you can leave the island in order to get Synchronize Pokemon from the Pokemon Center or to buy Master Balls. You now are the owner of one of the previously mentioned Pokemon! Additional uses of the Mysterious Ticket: World Quests lasts for 24 hours from the point it was started Caught Pokemon that you want to submit to the Mysterious Cultist have to be OT (Original Trainer) You get a ticket for 0.5% of the total IVs, and two tickets for 3% of the total IVs If the quest is not completed, nobody will receive a Mysterious Ticket Pokemon that you submit to the Mysterious Cultist are forever lost You can only get every Legendary Pokemon once You can not submit an evolved form of the requested Pokemon Pokemon on Birth Island cannot be shiny Good luck on Birth Island!1 point

Pro Player made guide to dig spots What do i want to accomplish from this? Well With the new Changes to dig spots Comes new spawns for each area with dig spots. I Want to make a list/guide showing all the dig spots. But to do that i need The community's help since it would take ages for one person to get enough data of all the dig spots. Now this is all Voluntary, you don't have to help but it would be greatly appreciated. All i want people to do is when your doing your dig spots for a route/cave please post what you find in this comment section. Try to make it neat and very understandable. [spoiler=Example] Route 3, i ran into 3 geodude's and 2 Rhyhorn also a aron We already know that Geodude is the common spawn, Rhyhorn is the Medium rate spawn, while Aron is the rare spawn of route 3 confirmed by Prehax the changer of the digs. We also know that each dig route has 2 fossils you can acquire as well as money items. This is optional but you can post What you items you find as well. Also due to What i found in my data do not Post that you found normal Pokeballs, it seems like there in every dig spot location. I need all these areas Data; All Areas: Kanto Route 3 (items only since we know the spawns) Mt. Moon 1F Mt. This rant is about my disappointment is people retaining their right to cancel an auction if they do not like the final offer. I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DO IT First off, I want to tell you I understand why you do it. And I understand it is rarely enforced. A smart auction starts low to get multiple people invested into bidding with the hopes to selling high. But you of course fear that if only one or two people bid you will end up selling your epic pokemon for half the value you expected to get for it. The comfort of knowing you can stop the auction saves you from the fear of doing it. You are thinking about yourself here, but you should be thinking about your buyer when trying to sell something. WHY IT IS HURTING YOUR AUCTION Now consider the buyer's point of view. The average auction lasts about 2 or 3 days. A pokemon worthy of an auction normally sells for 500k or more. This is not cheap and many times the buyer will have to invest their feelings into this. When a buyer sees that their offer may be rejected, the fear of being rejected may turn them way from investing their feelings into the auction. Remember, you are doing an auction in hopes of luring people in at a low price to get their feelings invested into the auction so they will outbid others. But by including a rule that puts their feelings at risk of being hurt, you drive away potential customers from starting or joining in on the auction. WHY YOUR AUCTION DOESNT GET BIDS UNTIL THE LAST HOURS If you've hosted an auction, you get two common responses. "Whats the insta?" and "When does the auction end?" Many times people will wait until the auction is close to ending to bid, because they know bidding early requires investing time and feelings. And when they see the rule that you could cancel the auction whenever will absolutely stop these specific individuals who are already timid to investing time and feelings from bidding. The less time their money sits in auction, the less time and feelings are invested. You want them to invest all their money and feelings into the auction, so you want them to bid early. If you state that people's bid will always hold up, you remove the fear of people getting their feelings hurt and time wasted. So the next time you consider adding this rule to your auction, understand that you are scaring off potential customers for your own comfort.1 point

**Auction started! C.O. wakko16, 9.5m Ends on tuesday 7:13 pm. UTC+1 (Less than 1 hour left) Starting at 7m. Insta buyout is 20m min bid: 100k Duration: 5 days. after first bid. (cash offers only!) Good luck! (any bids that i get in-game will be screenshotted here as proof.) For those who wish to contact me through discord, you can add me. Discord username: Shengi/Rashnu.5370#9938 I have the right to cancel the sale if I'm not satisfied with the price. Any fake offers will be reported. I know the rules may have changed now since I forgot to write this, but since no one has bid yet, I think it's somewhat okay. If a trade mod considers this is not allowed, I will edit this and leave the post as it originally was.1 point

This thread has 8 people strongly agreeing with my opinion. Several of them providing feedback about how they dislike this rule and would like to see it "removed." Only you, @Logan have taken the time to disagree with this threads opinion. And frankly, the argument of "sniping" is incredibly weak and sounds like people just complaining they didnt enough more of the pokemon that they agreed to sell it for. If you are going to consider changing this rule, maybe you should consider this thread as official feedback.1 point

First you are not one of the guys who offered, so I cant understand your concern. Second, I have an insta price in my post, so your response here is totally pointless. Post can be closed.1 point

I never understood why the auctioneer had the right to cancel their auction. I have never seen this rule in real life auctions. I could possibly be wrong, maybe that exists. But I would still be happy to not see this rule anymore during auctions. Maybe that one day...1 point

I agree with this opnion but the only reason why players are using it is because they have the power to use it and almost everyone else does it. Its just about following the others sadly... this rule gives sellers ofc alot of power and advantages and thats why it will mostly be used by many players on auctions. But this not the same for potentional buyers indeed . For buyers like my self its indeed not worth bidding if i know they will propably cancle it anyway. Removing this rule will cause alot of discussion because many will complaint that they are forced to sell even if they dont want to. A best solotion is just adding a min price you want for it at the start so you dont have to cancle it and not have to use this rule due to low offers since the start was already near the price you want.1 point

Good luck buddy! As an extra info for trade mods: the original auction was 7 million, 5 days auction and insta 20 million. He forgot to write the entire post properly and had to edit the rules multiple times quickly before anyone bids and starts the auction, I helped him personally. If this is not allowed, we can edit it back to how it originally was (and I'll take blame for it). He's inexperienced with auctions :31 point

Hi PJ, As previously stated by the other posters, you'll need 120 Kanto Caught Data and 38 Evolved Data of Any Region in order to travel to Love Island. (Keep in mind while the requirements state "Kanto", it's referring to first generation Pokemon (#1-151); not simply any generation Pokemon caught in Kanto). You can check if you have caught a Pokemon by looking at your PokeDex. If you have caught it, there will be a Pokeball to the bottom right, as shown here: If you have evolved data of a Pokemon, you'll have the Pokeball to the bottom right as well as a star to the bottom left, as shown here: In regards to your first question however, you are able to trade with others for the Kanto Caught Data requirement. Once a Pokemon you haven't previously caught has been traded to you, you will receive the PokeDex Data for that Pokemon. However, you will need to evolve Pokemon yourself in order to get the Evolved Data. Since your question has been answered now, I'll lock this topic. Have a great rest of your week! - Locked -1 point

Hello! I'm Cobrakai, and i'm doing this topic to aid people with their EV training! I want to share with you a list of decent EV training hotspots (some of them better then others but it's what i found best until now), with a list of the Pokémons showing up in each hotspot, their approximate levels, EV gain from battling each of those Pokémon and the daytime where those Pokémon appear. The rarity of listed Pokémon is estimated. This guide will be updated as soon as i get more information on other decent hotspots. EDIT: Hotspots are not all in Kanto anymore, decided to add a few from Johto region aswell because they are actually really good. Ways to Modify EV Gain: As there are no Horde encounters, we are gonna struggle bit more than at 6th gen games (X & Y). Pokérus also not available so, the struggle will be even bigger. Macho Brace IS available and working, making EV training 2x faster - doubles EV gain but halves holder's speed. As many people seemed to not know, Macho Brace can be obtained in the Johto region, Goldenrod City, by trading a Drowzee with an npc who gives a Machop helding the item. HealthPoints (HP) EV training hotspots: Johto - Ruins of Alph Entrance Kanto - Viridian Forest --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attack (Atk) EV training hotspots: Johto - Mt.Mortar Johto - Dark Cave (North) Kanto - Pokémon Tower (Lavender) Kanto - Mt.Moon Kanto - Route 11 Kanto - Route 12 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Defense (Def) EV training hotspots: Kanto - Viridian Forest --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Speed (SPD) EV training hotspots: Johto - Dragons Den Kanto - Diglett Cave --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Attack (Sp.Atk) EV training hotspots: Kanto - Route 5 Kanto - Route 6 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Defense (Sp.Def) EV training hotspots: Attention: To be honest, Sp. Def is so easy to train, u can find Tentacool almost everywhere (through rod or surfing, doesn't matter which method). I'm just listing the locations where it seemed i found a high ammount of Tentacruel for a faster train (maybe i was just lucky finding many Tentacruel in these zones, maybe it's just my impression). Kanto - Route 19 & 20 Hope this topic can help a lot of people. Would also like to ask for PRO's community to help improving this topic, as i think every1 wants to train their Pokémons EV with an always higher and improving efficiency. Cobrakai1 point
