You are starting this thread on totally false statements on who handles things and who creates/codes/scripts for this game. You are comparing two COMPLETELY different things to one another which inevitably makes no sense. The main subject of your post is PvP/coded abilities and moves while on the same hand complaining about adding small bits of content here and there. I can tell you right now, PvP/coded abilities/moves are all Devs work while lets say a small quest are work of the Content team (Scripter, Mapper, Artist). They work completely different, we have two people who not only have to keep the Server stable with a bad server code, pay attention to the needs of the staff team (We are super needy when it comes to Dev requests), has to assist Content teams by adding their items to the client, has to update our tools (Editors for Scripters/Mapper, Tools for Moderation Staff). fix crucial bugs that are potentially game-breaking (ever heard of 10000 MS, battling the same boss thousand times, having every item 999? we did). Devs work is crucial for the game and that's why projects such as a Battle Code rework are wanted, are in the works however even with it being on the Top Priority list, some things are more time crucial than others. 5 Years, I'll be frank Shane didn't do a whole lot in 3-4 years, Eaty only recently has gotten the ability to actually do things like a Battle Code rework prior to that he didn't have access to the code (when Shane was still around). ^subject from above A forfeit button without penalty will never happen, we won't make it even easier for users' to boost, will a forfeit button be something useful? Yes however only under certain restrictions such as like ~ the match is already lasting 10 minutes or something similar. "Improve the existing stories - Scripters job "improve that crappy box system" - Devs job "make events to awaake the server like tournaments or things like that where players interact with each other" - "Mods/CCs job" We already actively hold a monthly tournament for Top25 players, we hold events on Discord every month or so, we hold events on forums every month or so "find competent mods who know how to handle situations (because muting someone for saying '[heck]' when is already censored" - There are Chat Rules for a reason, it's not an "incompetent" Mod for enforcing rules you deliberately and knowling broke. -1 the battle thing rework is alrdy announced so you should just wait for that and story + events are most fun i think there should be even more focux on that. staff worked hard to make the game as awesome as it is and most of them are players like us + this game is a beta and nothing official. this post is just unthankful, why dont you apply as staff and "save" this horrible game then ? if you wanna forfeit a lot in pvp you can still do it in poke showdown

I prefer new regions, you guys need to remember that some players just do PVE CONTENT, with new regions comes new maps, is stupid to want a mega evolution, z move and go on without even remembering that it was introduced in new regions, kanto, johto, hoenn, sinnoh, UNOVA, KALOS, ALOLA, its impossible and ridiculous to just add new spawns and keep the game the same just for the sake of "i want to try this new poke in pvp" if was just that, please play Smogon. Quality over quantity? Adding new spawns and not new content fits in the quantity. If you guys dont think about how staff is trying hard to solve the old limitations and also, u may say OH BUT IM A DONATOR I GIVE MONEY, they work for free, so u're not paying them to do anything. Hello trainers! There are several major projects for content in doing that I feel you should know about. I will note some of them down before someone leaks it the wrong way. - New Region New region is a custom approach. We call it a mini-region. But it's actually very huge. It is called Astrella, and it's done mapping wise. Region will feature a variety of spawns (gen 7 area), new content, quests, events, trade city and much more. It will be ready once script-work is done for it and once gen 7+ is fully operational, will not release it before that. Reason for a custom area is a simple one. We are unable to map anything past Unova graphic wise without having it improvised 99% and waste much time into art. The MMO setting commands a new region, so it's being delivered. With it, we will have whole game spawned with old and new Pokemon, closer to being complete. The region is currently in hands of scripters. Once they are done, I will spawn it, so you can catch some of the new Pokemon when we receive a full gen 7 update. - Unova Unova is planned and is slowly being mapped. Once it is done and ready, the whole game will be respawned from scratch due to distribution of the Pokemon around PRO world. We are also looking for mapping manpower to complete the task so that mapping side is done and ready for people to script on. - Orange Islands The Orange Islands are also being mapped and planned. Not much to say about this one. ** Note that plans may change any time. But what I said above is a current plan and it's being worked on. I want to have all mapping done before the schedule so that people can start working on the maps script wise etc. Thank you

The MasterBall should get a confirmation window before throwing it. MasterBalls are a relatively rare item people farm for to use it on rare shinys, poisoned encounters, legendaried or beldums, just to be sure to get the catch before something unfortunate happens. since the use of a masterball is kind of rare and special, adding a confirmation window wont bother players too much, as for them it is a special catch and they are excited, the comfirmation window will make the catch feel even more special as the masterball will feel like a rare item to use as u have to confirm it. now also on the other side it prevents the players from using it on accident, especially while playing on a mobile phone like i have to do while being on vacation xD adding an option to turn the comfirmation window on and off can be done aswell. The game is free, the mechanics are fine the story is what its supposed to be the thing with "bad names" and not being able to "nickname" your pokèmon are because immature people would name their pokèmon some curse or swear word amd theres little 10 year old kids that also play the game so its understandable unless if you have your kids and you don't mind them saying F bomb this F bomb you B word this you A word that doesn't sound great does it? The in game settings has an option that lets you toggle on so that it doesn't censor the said words, if you're going to even mention pokèone then you're completely wrong because the developer isn't even the head of this game anymore, Shane moved on and kept this game up by handing it over to Eaty would you want to have 4k+ hours donating money for coins to upgrade your looks get various mounts and then just end up having the game discontinue just because the 'developer' decided to make a different pokèmon game? None of the staff get paid for anything unless the developers but I don't know if Eaty and Shaolin get paid doing what they're doing because the link is linked to Shanes paypal account and he already feels bad that people are having to donate so much have you noticed shiny mew and regular mew hats in the shop are both 25c? and not 25c regular and 30c shiny? After he quit for pokèone all the other prices stayed with the 25c/30c format, so don't flame staff for doing things FOR FREE their only "payment" that they get are death threats, getting flamed by players to belittle staff(like in your post), and a shiny legendary of their choice. Like I don't know if you're actually being serious or you're just an online troll that has nothing else better to do because you're already done with getting a team that you like, which probably isn't meta, it also sounds like you don't 'tech' the move "TAUNT" in your movesets and just want to turbo push through PvP its called PvP for a reason if you hate stall so much then don't play it. If you want to play then get good, and tech Taunt into your team. Like in League, "if you don't have wards on the map for vision you're gonna have a bad time" if you're not paying attention to something like the pokèmons typing, nature, abilities, movesets, and just want every region in the game well, guess what? "OTHER STALL POKÈMON EXIST" like Mareanie, Toxapex, Fomantis, Luantis, Sandygast, Palossand to name a few like, if you're telling staff to 'be SMART' theres different teams if you haven't noticed theres Admin, Game Master, Moderator, Trade Moderator, Community Coordinator, Mapper, Artist, Content Creator(coder) not to mention the coders are the ones that CODE the game, the bosses the story line text everything, unless you accidentally released your pokèmon or over leveled it somehow the Admins do that stuff. If you're complaining about a move like 'substitute' stall pokèmon use that move too so nagging about stall that isn't gonna help you in the long run stall will always exist, stall will always win(unless you have defog, rapid spin, taunt) to shut them down. I'm tired of seeing minor updates who doesn't change nothing during those years. Stop focusing on trying to do more regions and shit, just fix all things that already exist and don't work well, 5 years passed and the game has the same problems as before, damn, just try to fix all things that don't work properly instead of doing more regions and stories who anyways gonna look as being made by some amateurs. Have you ever listened 'quality over quantity'? There's no life in the server, just make only 1 server, we're not in the 2000+ players days anymore, youre not gonna attract new players if they see that the game is dead. Make things to people interact with each other, stop focusing on non-sense things that not gonna attract new players. Doesn't matter if a player at first sight will be attracted by those 4 regions if then he starts playing and he isn't having fun. Improve the damn PVP, 5 years later and you still making the same mistakes. We are still without the move substitute coded, without megaevos, without z-moves.. and many more. And what happens? We have a meta who benefits Stall, and if you're smart enough PRO staff, you'll know that the vast majority of players came here to have a good time, not to have 40 minute battles where a couple of 15yo kids who have all the time in the world try to exploit the system to be the best of their bedrooms. Just fix the timer, put a forfeit button without penalties, improve the existing stories, improve that crappy box system, make events to awake the server like tournaments or things like that where players interact with each other, find competent mods who know how to handle situations (because muting someone for saying 'shit' when is already censored or showing your shiny Greninja with 32x6 ivs isn't doing your job right, it only makes the game look amateurish). if you put the same interest in improving the game than in chasing those who try to sell their accounts... even that you're doing it wrong and scarying new players. "That is what we want, not new regions or story to do" I like good story BUT if other mechanics works fine and we see not so many bugs. I have 70 hrs, I know I am newbie BUT din't saw any bugs in all Kanto region. Mayby some littles like relog before leaving cave but only sometimes. I din't saw any bug stoped me. Of course this is only Kanto, don't know what is going on in pvp and other regions. Game is really what I expected BUT if some players reported things like above me I think it would be nice to start thinking about this. Would be bad to leave this game. =) / Sorry for my english.

This year, PRO Staff have decided to launch another Summer PvP Tournament, which is open to everyone who meets the requirements to sign up and wishes to participate. This is our 4th year hosting an annual PvP tournament! Are you ready to face off against the rest of your server to battle for bragging rights, and a unique reward to set you apart from the rest? A. The Tournament will consist of a double-elimination bracket. B. The bracket will be randomly seeded during a live-stream. C. Registration will begin on June 1, 2019, 00:00 GMT, and end on June 13, 2019, 00:00 GMT. D. Each round will last one week. The bracket draw will be streamed on June 14, 2019, and the first round will begin immediately. E. All matches prior to the Semifinals on both brackets will be best of 3. F. Semifinals, Winner's Finals, Losers' Finals, and Grand Finals will be best of 5. G. Should any circumstances necessitate changes to this format, Tournament Staff will give at least a week's notice before the tournament begins. H. Only one account per player may enter the tournament. I. Ghosting is forbidden. Players may seek assistance prior to matches, but may not confer with other players during the game or allow another player to play for them. J. The Pokemon pool of players will not be limited, so there is no need to register teams. A. All Ranked PvP Rules apply. B. In the event that any Ranked PvP Rules are changed while the tournament is in progress, the change takes effect immediately in this tournament as well. C. This is the responsibility of both parties. › Services that involve account sharing (Story, Quest, etc) are permitted, but not recommended. See Rule No.3 of the Game Rules for further details. CROSS SERVER RULES 1. Cross Server sales and auctions must be posted in the Trades - Cross Server sub-forum. 2. When moving an existing Selling thread from Silver or Gold forums to Cross Server, the current thread must first be marked as closed. - Auction: Once started, an auction thread cannot be moved. 3. When a trade agreement is made concerning players from different servers, the responsibility of transferring lies with the thread creator. - This rule does not apply when there is an explicit written agreement between the buyer and seller about who will transfer to honour the deal. Evidence of this agreement must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request. › When posting in Selling Pokemon - Cross Server, the seller must be prepared to transfer, should the buyer be from the opposite server. › When posting in Buying Pokemon - Cross Server, the buyer must be prepared to transfer, should the seller be from the opposite server. TRADE TERMINOLOGY • WTS, WTB & WTT. - WTS (Want To Sell), WTB (Want To Buy), and WTT (Want to Trade) indicates the user's intention when making their trade post or thread. • LFM. - LFM (Looking For More) is used by a seller to indicate that they are looking for a higher offer. • SO, BO & CO. - SO (Starting Offer) indicates the minimum offer required to begin an auction. BO (Best Offer) & CO (Current Offer) are both used to indicate the current highest offer in an auction. › Auction use only. › Evidence of all offers must be made and kept to be made available upon Staff request. Timestamps are preferred. • Fixed Price. - A set price, specified by seller, that once met will result in an immediate sale, ignoring all other offers. › Applies to standard sales (non-auction sales e.g. In-game & Forum Sales, Forum Shops, etc), and must be treated as Insta. • Instant Price / Insta. - An instant price, specified by the seller, that once met will immediately end the auction, ignoring all other offers and bids. › Auction use only. • Trade Agreement / Deal. - A deal is done one of these two scenarios: › In-game: Both parties have agreed to a price and location. › Forum & Auction: An Insta or Fixed Price has been met. • False Buying / Selling. - Agreeing to buy or sell, but going back on the deal before the trade has taken place. • False Offering / Bidding. - Making an offer or bid with no intent or means to follow through. This also includes retracted or cancelled bids. • Misleading / Deceiving. - Intentionally giving another user false information, hiding or manipulating information before or after the trade has taken place. • Scamming. - Breaking a trade agreement once the trade has taken place. › e.g. Not returning a lend, breaking a Service agreement etc. TYPES OF TRADE FORUMS • Selling Pokemon. - Use this forum to sell non-variant Pokemon only.
