2. INTRO Welcome to the 6th edition of Brazilian Pokémon Revolution Online Championship (Campeonato Brasileiro de PRO). My name is Nero, and I'm one of the organizer of this event. I wish good luck for all participants! From now on, I will be writing everything in PORTUGUESE, because it is the official language of Brazilians and the championship is destined for them. Well... Let's go! Sejam todos bem vindos ao Campeonato NACIONAL de Pokémon da New WORLD! Esse ano, o evento será organizado pela primeira vez, somente pela equipe New WORLD. Você está pronto para mostrar a todos o seu nível competitivo? 3. INFORMAÇÕES Embora o campeonato seja destinado ao jogo "Pokémon Revolution Online", todos os jogadores sabem que, infelizmente, ainda há falhas no sistema de PvP do jogo e para evitar quaisquer tipos de erros/bugs, as partidas serão realizadas no simulador de batalhas Pokémon Showdown! Pela primeira vez na história, o participante terá que passar por uma Pré-Eliminatória para poder se classificar e participar do NACIONAL. Lembrando que, somente 16 jogadores serão classificados para o Campeonato NACIONAL. As vagas para participar da Pré-Eliminatória são ILIMITADAS. Portanto, não há um limite de inscrições. Dessa vez, não haverá nenhuma vaga extra para jogadores estrangeiros. Somente brasileiros poderão participar do evento. Qualquer regra quebrada, resultará em uma punição (que será atribuído de acordo com o nível da regra). O campeonato será INTERSERVER (Silver + Gold) Dúvidas, contatar um membro da STAFF. Regras do campeonato a) Para iniciar o torneio, será necessário 16 participantes! b) Somente brasileiros podem se registrar no torneio. c) É necessário passar pela Pré-eliminatória para poder se classificar pro NACIONAL. d) Os participantes devem estar atentos na data e no horário da sua partida. Será tolerado no máximo 10 minutos de atraso. e) O participante pode alterar a sua equipe após cada jogo (limite de 5 minutos para fazer alteração). f) Não será permitido o registro de duas ou mais contas por pessoa. (Por isso, pediremos algumas informações a mais na ficha de inscrição). g) Taxa de inscrição gratuita! 4.2. Regras do PvP a) O metagame será OU7GEN (OverUsed 7 Generation). b) Apenas Pokémon existentes no PRO serão permitidos! c) As habilidades "Sand Veil", "Snow Cloak", "Shadow Tag" e "Moody" estão banidas. d) É proibido o uso de um movimento incompatível com a habilidade de um Pokémon. (Exemplos: Clefable [unaware] + Softboiled, Chansey [Natural Cure] + Psywave, etc). e) É proibido utilizar um movimento de evento em um Pokémon caso a Natureza não seja compatível com o movimento. (Exemplos: Raikou [qualquer outra natureza, com exceção de RASH] + Aura Sphere], Entei [qualquer natureza, com exceção de ADAMANT] + Extremespeed, etc). f) One Hit KO (OHKO) Clause: Não é permitido o uso de movimento que elimine o Pokémon inimigo com apenas um uso direto. Exemplo: Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, e Sheer Cold. g) Species Clause: Não é permitido o uso de 2 Pokémon iguais no time. (Exemplos: 2 Clefable no time, 1 Rotom-Wash e 1 Rotom-Heat, etc). h) Sleep Clause MOD: É proibido colocar mais de 1 Pokémon do oponente para dormir. Obs: Lembrando que se um jogador possuir o movimento "REST", este Pokémon não será contado como um que está dormindo, neste caso você poderá colocar outro Pokémon do oponente para dormir. Obs 2: Caso tenha um Pokémon com a habilidade "Natural Cure" no time, 2 Pokémon poderão receber "SLEEP", desde que o Pokémon com a habilidade "Natural Cure" durma primeiro, caso contrário, isso é proibido. i) Baton Pass Clause: Utilizar o movimento "BATON PASS" é permitido, porém você não poderá passar um atributo + speed. [PERMITIDO] Exemplos: Bulk Up + Baton Pass = 1,5 ATK / 1,5 DEF / Swords Dance + Baton Pass = 2x ATK. [PROIBIDO] Exemplos: Speed Boost + Swords Dance + Baton Pass / Dragon Dance + Baton Pass. j) Evasion Clause MOD: Não é permitido utilizar movimentos que aumentam a evasão (evasion) do seu Pokémon, também é proibido utilizar movimentos que diminuem a ACC (Accuracy) do Pokémon inimigo. Por esse motivo, as habilidades "Sand Veil" e "Snow Cloak" estão banidas! k) Swagger Clause MOD: Não é permitido o uso do movimento "Swagger". l) Pokémon UBER Tier: Para quem não sabe, UBER é considerada a classe de Pokémon mais apelona, perdendo apenas para AG (Mega-Rayquaza, único Pokémon da classe AG). O metagame utilizado em nosso campeonato será OverUsed [OU], portanto será permitido todos os Pokémon da classe OverUsed [OU] ou inferior, nesse caso Pokémon da tier UBER estão banidos. m) Não é permitido o uso de mega evolução. n) Não é permitido o uso de Z-Moves. o) Habilidades e Movimentos não codificados no PRO estão banidos! p) Cada jogador poderá realizar um banimento em cada partida. (Exemplo: Cada jogador poderá banir um pokémon, esse não poderá ser utilizado no PvP por parte de nenhum dos 2 jogadores). Lembrando que, os 2 jogadores deverão informar ao ADM no mesmo momento qual pokémon gostaria de banir. Caso ambos os jogadores decidem banir o mesmo Pokémon, apenas esse pokémon será banido e considerado como 2 banimentos. 4.3. Regra do STALL Não queremos um torneio chato e diante de vaias dos espectadores, e uma coisa que incomoda muita gente, é o abuso de STALL. Portanto, será permitido no máximo o uso de 3 Pokémon STALL em uma equipe. Caso um participante utilize uma equipe com mais de 3 STALL, acumulará uma DERROTA na série (Nacional) / DERROTA (Pré-Eliminatória). 4.4. Regras do CHAT a) Não é permitido o ato de racismo, sexismo, homofobia, xenofobia no campeonato. (BAN PERMANENTE) b) Não é permitido ofensas, discurso de ódio. (1 DERROTA NA SÉRIE) c) É permitido provocações por parte dos participantes. d) Os espectadores não poderão ofender um participante. Até porque, nenhum espectador tem o direito de ofender um participante, isso o torna um covarde que nem no torneio está pra poder falar algo. Nesse caso, se um espectador ofender um participante, o mesmo será banido da transmissão. e) Não é permitido contrariar/ofender a STAFF. (BAN PERMANENTE + EXPULSÃO DO SERVIDOR DO DISCORD) 4.5. Regra EXTRA Não será permitido ajudar um participante! Seja dando dicas, compartilhando tela, etc. Para evitar essas coisas, um dos membros da STAFF estará de olho em todos os participantes e se ele desconfiar de qualquer coisa, pedirá para que o mesmo jogue compartilhando a tela para ele em uma chamada privada via discord. Para evitar qualquer problema, os participantes, deverão estar na mesma chamada que 1 membro da STAFF que será o responsável por ficar de olho nisso. Ao iniciar a partida, devem continuar na chamada, mas podem mutar o áudio e o microfone. O jogador que for pego recebendo ajuda durante as partidas, será desclassificado do torneio e banido de todas as próximas edições. Obs: Qualquer regra quebrada, resultará em uma punição. 5. PRÉ-ELIMINATÓRIA (NACIONAL) a) Apenas 8 jogadores serão classificados para o NACIONAL. b) A pré-eliminatória terá início no dia 8 de fevereiro. c) As partidas da pré-eliminatória ocorrerão nos sábados das 15:00-16:30 (Horário de Brasília - GMT-3) d) As partidas da pré-eliminatória serão md1 (apenas 1 jogo). e) Teremos 5 partidas durante a Pré-Eliminatória, se classifica pro NACIONAL os 8 jogadores que conseguirem a melhor taxa de vitória. f) Os oponentes serão gerados automaticamente, lembrando que não se pode repetir os confrontos. g) Caso tenha apenas a última vaga para o NACIONAL disponível, e 2 jogadores acumulem a mesma taxa de vitória, esses deverão realizar uma série md1 e decidir quem será classificado. h) As partidas da PRÉ-Eliminatória não serão transmitidas ao vivo. 6. NACIONAL 2020 a) 8 jogadores serão classificados para o NACIONAL. b) Será realizado um sorteio para ver quem jogará contra quem no NACIONAL (Isso serve para todas as fases, exceto a FINAL). c) Cada série do NACIONAL será uma melhor de 3 (MD3), portanto, aquele que obter duas vitórias primeiro, é considerado o vencedor. d) As partidas do NACIONAL serão transmitidas ao vivo. e) A data exata do NACIONAL será divulgada, assim que a Pré-Eliminatória se encerrar. f) O Nacional acontecerá em 2 dias! g) 27/03/2020 (12:00-15:00): Primeira Fase / 28/03/2020 (13:00-16:00): Semifinal, Disputa de 3º Lugar e FINAL 7. Hello everyone. This time the suggestion has to do with trades. Many people daily either forget where they lent or traded their items / Pokemons etc. for various reasons, either they come back from long breaks or they have Alzheimer's disease, which leads to "bothering" (cannot find a more appropriate word, even though it's their "job" to help on such matters) Trade moderators for something so small, while waiting for X time to get a reply. I'm not here to judge, just suggesting that there could be a NPC Trade Tracker which would show you at real time where your Pokemon are and who has them. I'm not close to programming so I wouldn't know how hard that is to be achieved, but I'm sure it can happen. If making an NPC cannot work, maybe with a help of a bot it would make things easier. Fortunately, there exists a Pre-evolution move tutor in PRO located in each region's daycare: - Route 5 (Kanto) - Route 34 (Johto) - Route 117 (Hoenn) - Solaceon Town (Sinnoh) You will need to do a series of quests in order to unlock said daycare, which you can follow here: Egg-move guide After unlocking the daycare, simply walk behind the old couple and you'll find the Pre-evolution move tutor. I think renaming unranked to ubers would be a great idea. I would love an active "ubers" meta existing alongside OU. To add incentive I think all that has to be done (as a first addition) is add an unranked leaderboard.

In Gen6, Swagger was used in a playstyle called SwagPlay where a Pokemon with the Prankster ability used Swagger and Thunder Wave to make it highly unlikely for the opponent to attack, followed by Foul Play with does more damaged after the opponent's attack is boosted by Swagger. The attack boost from Swagger even makes the opponent do more damage to themselves when they hit themselves in confusion. So, with just 1 priority move, your opponent has a 50% chance to hurt themselves with a boosted attack, skipping their turn. Then you would either be able to paralyse them, adding more luck to whether they can use a move or not, as well as lowering their speed. Then using Foul Play to do massive damage due to the stat boost. Pokemon commonly used for this strategy were Klefki and Liepard. When discussed on competitive forums, the outright banning of those Pokemon was considered, or banning Swagger when used by a Pokemon with Prankster. In the end, it was decided to ban Swagger instead as those Pokemon had other uses. tl;dr: Swagger is a luck based move with no real competitive use to it. It was used as a cheese strategy. Despite the Gen7 changes to Swagger, Confusion and Thunder Wave, the move is still considered to be too luck based with no competitive skill involved. Thus, it remains banned. It's unlikely that Swagger will ever be unbanned.
