Dear Staff members , Pvp Council members, Firstly thanks for the efforts done by anyone who does spend a part of their time trying to enhance the game for free whether reaching a good outcome or not. Kindly I've few comments : 1- Exciting the users with a new patch with new good megas then banning them result in a lot of negativity and depression to users who started having fun with the new stuff in the new patch. 2- Absolutely against the waste of efforts and money spent by buyers and hunters in game for the later banned pokes, For example: - You let a user hunt for hours and days a poke then get all of this effort trashed is unfair. - Those users who spent tons of money buying epic pokes like for example this guy who spent over 23m for an epic mawile few days ago then getting his poke banned and for plenty of other users is unfair for them and for the spent hours on grinding cash. - The spent hours on quests for mega pokes also by a lot of users are a waste of time. - The formed teams and money spent on pokes to coupe along with the freshly banned pokes is unfair. I don't mind having an op poke banned like bb greninja or mawile mega but all I'm saying is, it should be banned previously before releasing the patch and tested specially by the pvp Council not after the release with seasons and sometimes can go for a long while like with aegislash. If the pvp community need a hype of a variety they should discuss with votes on suggestions with the council whether to have a strong meta with a lot of options of previous banned pokes or nerfed ones like galewings of talon , bb ninja , speed boost blaziken and so on of op abilities, moves or stones etc.. Or whether to have a balanced meta like the current one to make it fair for h.o team users/ stall teams users/ balanced teams users. Kindly review the PRO Community members on their demands and comments on the last ban cause a lot of complains have been made and kindly review those notes in this thread. Thanks and regards.

So you say we have proper council, right? This perfect council was left by many, beacuse their opinion meant nothing in this world, or the worse case, they werent even asked. Greninja is here for years now, and it was never a problem. Megas got released, ppl can build more and more different teams with these mons. And what do we do? We ban them, This circle will continue, and not 2 months later, but a month later, beacuse with these bans, more and more pokemon will stand out of the meta, and they will be a threat to h.o. to stall and these mons will keep getting banned. I still say the same, this stupid ban was the first step going into a dead game, and no one can deny that. Beacuse we are moving to a game, where you either play pvp competitively and force yourself to use the 6 best mon that can put up a fight, or you are screwed. Greninja could give lower rating players some kind of fun, with being able to damage an enemy pokemon, and now, its gone not for higher ranked players, but for the lower ones too. Yes, if you know how to play pvp, you will find a new solution to win games, but Greninja only gave you either a special, a physical or mixed attacker that you could use in almost any situation. And the best thing, ppl show showdown damage calculations. They show us gunk shot azumarill, which is super effective against it. even without changing type, ice beam will kill almost any flying type, without turning to ice type. And you can say, it has huge movepool. Yes, gladly it has, Just like many other pokemon. Look at Landorus, it has a great movepool too, and its not banned. Just watch this, the next banned pokemon will be Mega Medicham. Banned in Gen6 OU, huge movepool, over 500 atk due to ability.

What i'm about to say is going to get alot of hate so let's get this over with. While i understand your anger and frustration , you need to know that pokemon pvp is not a game where you can exactly predict what's going to be really op in the meta 100% ( with exceptions of course ) . I myself wrote a post months ago about banning mega sableye , but i was never in favor of instantly banning it. Everything deserves a chance , and it's your job to keep up with the pvp meta and try and predict what is going to be and not going to be banned , and act accordingly . That is what winrate and usage stats are for at the end of each month ( i know i'm contradicting myself a bit here because it hasnt been a month since wave 3 , but if you kept up a bit with what was going on on the pvp cuncil, you would have known that alot of well known big pvp names and council members have been demanding a mawile ban and a sableye ban was inevitable if mawile gets banned since they come in a pack) , not to mention that people have been crying FOREVER in the pvp council fora greninja ban. Pro staff are not obligated to tell you what will be banned, do your own research for that. You re complaining about spending hours hunting only for pro to ban that said mon , but look at another game like Yu-gi-oh. People are spending actual money to buy the cards , (unlike pro which uses virtual money) , and are buying and selling them all the time for insane prices . Here are some examples: (as of current date) -Ten Thousand Dragon, worth around $188 -Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, worth around $171 - Sengenjin, worth around $107 And yet , Konami bans /limits Yu-gi-oh cards OUT OF NOWHERE ALL THE TIME. People are losing ACTUAL MONEY because of this . So, what's the solution to this you ask? They just keep up with the meta and the usage stats , and predict what is going to be banned or limited and sell them beforehand. It's not Konami's job to refund the players who lost their money , it's their job to balance the game. And this is the exact same case with pro right now. Although the banning process was handled very poorly from walross and the rest of the staff , these bans were kind of predictable if you have taken 10 minutes of your time to look at #council-chat in the pro pvp council discord. Heck if you asked any decent player , they would have told you that mawile and greninja are absolutely broken in the current meta state. Sorry to say this but money frog has overstayed it's welcome , i agree with these quickbans ( aside from metagross , but if that's the sacrifice i have to make to get rid of the others, i'll take it any day of the week)

I have been extremely vocal about the failure of the implementation and treatment of the "Official" PvP Council for PRO. First, we must understand what PRO created the PvP Council for. Council members were discussing every other day or so. Daily activity wasn't necessarily needed, just enough to keep things active. However, it quickly feel apart due to lack of leadership and support from PRO Staff. I'll go through some examples on how leaderships inaction and slow reactions began to lose the councils trust in the system: Example 1: Council members need to wait 2+ weeks for official responses to requests. Example 2: Council members begin to leave the council due to lack of confidence in the system. Example 3: Walross confirms wave three mega bans, etc, will "most likely" be discussed by the PvP PRO Council. Example 4: More council members begin to express their lack of confidence in the system created. I encourage you to join the "PRO PvP Council" Discord and review #council-chat for yourself. Note the timestamps of #announcements made by Walross. Wave three mega bans discussions where never began in #council-chat by Walross as stated in Example 3 above, leading to Example 4. Also note absolutely NOTHING posted in #council-announcements or #suspect-results-votes as of the posting of this thread. OKAY, SO HOW CAN WE FIX IT? Step 1: Move everything in "Pokemon Revolution Online" Official Discord. Step 2: Re-establish the council to 7 total members. Then have these 7 members vote on appointing a council lead. Step 3: All voting will be viewable by the public in #council-voting. Each member has 1 vote worth 1 point, while a member of PRO Staff has 1 vote worth 3 points. Ties are decided by Council Lead. Step 4: Respect from PRO Staff.

+1 We were a bit unprepared for these bans. I think moving them to suspect testing and communicating with the community may be a good idea.

You cant really know in beforehand if smt is op or not, well sometimes you can in case of BB Gren or normal Gren for example. Mawvile was kinda obvious as well imo, but idk. Maybe they put it in because its not banned in SD. Thing is, stuff should have suspect tested when its already released. 23 days for a ban is a bit less to get data. On otherhand, when you hear or know a Pokemon is op, you should always be aware that it may get banned. Or at least ask a pvp player you know.

If people are still having problems with the chess puzzle heres the fast/effective process again with screenshots. This is the start position, with the Timid carbink at the top, jolly at bottom and 2 supports in the middle. STEP 1: Mark their positions from above as 1, 2, 3, 4. Align all the carbinks in the 2nd row. We swap jolly one from the 4th position to the 3rd position. We setup calm mind and sharpen with the offensive ones. Double screens with the def ones. STEP 2: This is the crucial turn. Remember we're talking about their positions from above only. At this point the timid one is in 1st and jolly in 3rd position. Swap their positions. As you can see in the ss the jolly is in the 1st position now and ready to rock slide 3 ninjasks at once :). After you're done fixing their positions, now we click rock slide with the jolly one which is at the top. We calm mind up again with the timid one as theres nothing to attack infront of it. And click sandstorm, toxic with the rest 2 and the turn is done. Be very careful to direct the faces of the carbinks towards the direction of the enemies otherwise they'll hit nothing but air. STEP 3: If your rock slide hit all ninjasks there should be none left but 1 missed here in particular. It doesnt matter much. From this point we just attack whatevers in front. This might be random for each players but all with all carbinks alive and setup we're in an advantageous position. As you can see from the above 2 ss, we kept the timid in its 3rd position while we swapped the jolly from 1st to 2nd position to hit 3 targets with rock slide, these swaps help to make the process faster. I clicked rock slide again with the now 2nd position jolly one, dazzling gleam with the timid one in 3rd position, and toxic on the other two since the screens are still up. STEP 4: No ss here as its different for each one. Hit whatever infront with the offensive ones and try to move their positions for optimal damage. Spam Rock slide and Dazzling Gleam. Setup screens again for safety incase you miss attacks or the greninja dodges (Was +3 EVA for me here) STEP 5: Cleanup

As a contributor, I am pleased to see more contributions done on PRO, especially on this type of field. And hope you'll have a good time while doing so and learn as much as you can. Constructive Critism from a fellow Discord Bot Developer: Now, as a Discord Bot Developer, and soul owner and developer of Tsumiki Discord bot. It has 120+ commands, advanced systems like Mention system, Pagination system etc and being in over 2000 servers. So, by all that I can ensure you that my opinion is constructive. I want to give my personal opinion on this from a developer's perpsective. I will be very strict, so hope you can enjoy some consctructive criticism from someone experienced in this field, else turn back now. You lack responses to every command, if no parameters are given. I.e using ^s without any route or map name parameters, it returns nothing. This is an especially bad behavior, and its pretty common knowledge for any Discord bot developer to know. You have no whitespace remover for prefix, in case someone accidentally types "^ help" or related. Anything that helps the user overcome their own mistakes and still get a response, is all the better for the bot in the long haul. Its also small features like this, that users would initially come to love. This is more or less just copy-pasted formatting from Reborn I.e everything looks the same as Reborn in terms of format. It might as well have been done by myself in half an hour and called it a day. Seriously. You might call it "NQR - Not Quite Reborn", but its an identical replica of Reborn. But you've edited the footers in the embedded messages and added some mod commands. As a bot developer, I feel like you've stepped on someone's foot and continued to walk forward like nothing happened. If its not hosted on a server with a uptime of 24/7, it might as well be hosted by someone's computer. Nowadays its very easy to find a free 24/7 hosting solution, and its even easier to set it up with a Discord bot. Outdated content - A developer's worst nightmare scenario. Having outdated content (i.e spawns from pre-valentine) would impact the bot's overall preformence. People would certainly be given the wrong information and believe the bot is "outdated". Since much has changed since the last release in terms of spawns. And with new locations, comes new spawn locations. Which also heavily impacts outdated content and the bot's preformence. Even the smallest of details would either make someone stay and use the bot or instantly decide to drop it. Seems like you're using SM instead of XY for Smogon. Idk why you've decided to go for that, since Z-moves are not currently in the game. And I believe that XY is still the most relevant to PRO's current game situation, with mega Pokemon being a thing. But, I will say that I am impressed, even if its still somewhat a replica and something that could be easily done by any Discord Bot Developer. Hope to see some good changes with this bot in the near future.
