It would be nice to have the option for guild leaders to toggle an option that prevents guild members from finding other guild members in ranked pvp. It is common practice for many pvp-focused guilds to self-enforce a "queue/game (q/g)" system. For those unfamiliar with the system, it is quite simple. You type "q" in guild chat while you queuing for a ranked pvp match. This tells other members in your guild not to queue so you guys don't have to face each other. You then type "g" in guild chat to tell other members you've found a game and they are free to queue themselves. Why should PRO implement a guild functionality like this? Why do guilds even self-enforce this system anyway? A strong argument against the q/g system is playing friends can allow the opportunity for fun banter and opportunities to discuss mistakes and praise each other for good plays. However, this is a fantasy. Pvp is a competitive activity and it will cause people to lose control of their temper and create uncomfortable situations for everyone involved. There is no down-side to implementing this option for guilds. It would benefit all guilds who already self-enforce this system if PRO implemented a system that guild leaders can toggle to prevent members from playing each other in ranked pvp.13 points

+1 Although it is on theory only, I think this would and should decrease the time spent on finding an opponent for people in guilds that use g/q system, which I believe most of the competitive guilds ingame. I would suggest a system that prevents two guildmates fighting each other for the reasons stated in the posts above. But toggle option might be an acceptable system compared to current one. Completely preventing guildmates battling each other might hurt some "carefree" guilds in terms of queue time but in theory should decrease the potential boosting/win trading, toggle option still allows it. Still overall both options have many benefits. I don't wanna dissipate the attention on this matter but reading papabeer's post, a system that prevents us from facing the same opponent multiple times in a row is really needed as well, but its another day's subject.3 points

First of all, I would like to thank @Gio and @Nornornor444 for substantial contributions to this project. Speed stats are an important defining characteristic of each Pokémon species. They determine the order of moves made by Pokémon during a battle. Assuming an equal level of priority, Pokémon with a higher Speed stat at the start of any given turn will make a move before those with lower Speed. In the case of a Speed tie, which occurs when two Pokémon have the same Speed, one of them will randomly go first. Speed-altering moves, like Dragon Dance or Hammer Arm, only start affecting a Pokémon’s speed on the following turn. You should first identify the maximum Speed of the Pokémon of your choice. You must take into account its Speed IVs and, based on the Pokémon that you want it to outspeed, distribute its EVs accordingly. For example, if your Jolly Gliscor has 31 Speed IVs, you can give it 112 EVs to reach 279 Speed and outspeed any non-Choice Scarf Timid Heatran with max Speed IVs and EVs (i.e., 278 Speed). If your Jolly Gliscor only has 26 IVs, you can give it 132 Speed EVs to achieve the same feat. When you do this, it is best to assume perfect IVs for opposing Pokémon. This thread will only provide the Speed stats of currently viable Pokémon, so it will not cover every single Pokémon in the game, since it primarily is a PvP-focused resource. The updated Viability Rankings can be found here. For PvP sets that detail moves and EVs for each viable Pokémon, you may check out this (outdated) resource, which will be updated in the future with more accurate and relevant information. Since there are far too many viable Speed tiers and Pokémon sets, some will understandably be missing from the list. For example, you may encounter a Bold Volcarona with 240 or 241 Speed or a Pokémon not even mentioned in this thread. Similarly, you may also run into a Zapdos with a Speed number that is not listed below. Many players do not have perfect Speed IVs on all their Pokémon and some opt for unusual or custom EV spreads tailored according to the needs of their teams. The following Speed Tier list is separated into six different tiers: Pokémon with 500+ Speed, those with 400+ Speed, those with 300+ Speed, those with 200+ Speed, those with 100+ Speed, and those with less than 100 Speed. The items within each tier are arranged in descending order, that is, from the fastest Pokémon to the slowest. In some cases, specific scenarios or boosts are taken into account. For example, Trace Mega Alakazam using its ability to copy Sand Rush or Swift Swim becomes twice as fast as normal when the relevant weather is up. Only 2 additional Speed stages will be counted at most for Pokémon that can boost their own Speed thanks to Quiver Dance, Dragon Dance, Speed Boost, etc. 500 and above Pokémon Base Nature EVs IVs Something is massively needed for the matchmaking of this game and this is the simplest suggestion in theory that matches with the games current culture. Simply put, the games matchmaking is all but dead at times of the day and having to go one at a time in a guild is most certainly not helping anyone. After Felix made that PSA about guilds being allowed to PvP each other, I honestly might have to consider allowing it in our guild because it becomes so difficult to find quality matches or any at all even in the worst cases. We need this badly Wally, and if this is too hard to implement we need something for the Q because it has become insufferable. On top of Teerav's excellent point, I really think this game needs an ELO system. It might be impossible with so few people playing PvP compared to a game like League of Legends, but the fact that spamming 100s of games just because the quality of players is overall bad as a way to find success on the ladder makes any veteran of the game not even respect all the names that make the top 25 cut. It might be bias considering I barely play more than 50 games if that in a season, but I just do not get how something like that is rewarded when someone is clearly a worse player. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this game, it would make people easier to boost through screen-sharing and there are other complicated consequences just due to the low number of people who play so this idea is kind of dead on arrival but there needs to be some brainstorming about improving the quality of top 25 players because it is currently a joke that and 60 percent win rate player is in the same list as 80 percent players.2 points

The idea would be to implement a monotype pvp queue. It would be another fun way to play with other pokemons, and even to ranked pvp monotypes. I consider it an attractive idea, and one that can benefit the whole community.1 point

+1 the biggest reason why the Q/G system is being used by guilds is avoiding problems within the guild due to the competitive nature of pvp. and it would be an great option to add into the game. the most annoying thing for me would be waiting for 3-4 guild members to find their matches and being stuck in "waiting queue" within the guild to prevent facing each other to prevent problems. if more guilds would use this option it could as well improve the duration of players being in ranked queue as well, more players can join the queue and thus improving queue duration/quality . also it could help with the problem ive seen many have players have with facing the same opponent many times in a row if more players are in queue. it wont stop the queue from being dead at times if there are not many players looking to pvp but at "peak hours" it will help alot. imo regardless of it being hard to code or not its something the Pro should of had a long time ago, guilds shouldn't use self thought system to prevent troubles within the guild1 point

Adding too many queues is a bad idea IMO, especially with the lack of pvpers and the wait times it takes to get into a normal pvp game, this number will drop more once random battles are released as well. While yes it is interesting, and yes showdown has it, but showdown has a lot more players, with a lot more people who are active and playing. PRO has a significantly lesser amount of people overall, and less so as well playing pvp, and thus wouldn't benefit at all from having less people in the queue. As a result, -1 from me. This idea, for me, will just have to stick to player tournaments, and unranked.1 point

I've been thinking about this for a while, and while it can be done externally, i would really like to approach the dev team with this idea. TRAINER NOTES. We all live busy lifes, and some people leave the game and don't come back for a while. Have you ever logged in a game you played waay back and you had no idea what to do? Introducing, Trainer Notes. An IN-Game way to track your progress, note improtant things, and keep your goals and quests with you not to forget. I know this sounds dumb, but i really think the game needs it. The image above is just a mockup.1 point

It would be fun if the beauty contest was implemented like the original of the game (or similar). It may take time, but why not consider it in the future? It would be another fun way to compete, different from battles.1 point

This is my last post on this thread. Any other concerns feel free to PM me and not flood the thread with off-topic comments. Any message after this will be deleted unless the acknowledgement of the trade. @Cleoeo The rule is clear - you need to have the money on your account at the time you bid. I know you've been selling items and Pokemon at the last minute which is unfair for the auctioneer and bidders. If you have a friend that can lend you money then do it beforehand. @rHoMar As the auctioneer it's not fair to have private agreements with a bidder. If you want to accept Coin Capsules as Accepted Payment then it should have been specified before the auction started. Allowing a bidder extra time to get the money that he offered is against the rules - a bidder cannot offer what he does not own. Refrain from this kind of behaviour. If the outcome isn't done normally, it will be forced with actions taken. This is a warning to follow the rules for the sake of fairness of everyone involved. Take care.0 points
