    It's the exact opposite. There are cases where the infraction history doesn't matter and players are permanently banned regardless. An one-sided account takeover, for example. Apart from that, long-term players who do not continuously attract negative attention are punished more gently averagely. As an example, I would like to bring up a fairly recent example. We caught a user who played thousands of hours using third-party software. Before we finally decided to go for a permanent ban we found said user repeating this three times. Of course, this cannot be generalized, it always depends on the individual case, but we do not punish long-term players harsher. That wouldn't help us and the game in any way.

    Changelog 01.09.2021: Players will be able to join up to Normal Ranked, Random Ranked and Unranked queues at the same time. You will leave all queues once you found a match in any queue. You can see wins, losses, rating, ratio and all-time highest rating in the client for each queue now. Starts with the PvP season September 2021, previous data weren't saved. Added Normal Ranked, Random Ranked, Unranked and Guild ladders in the PvP window. Unlike Reborn Bot the ladders will update instantly once a battle ended. Guild ladders show up to 20 guilds while the others show up to 50 users. Added rules in the client instead of linking a forum post. Will probably add the list of broken moves and abilities in the same client tab below the rules. Attention: Random Ranked gives rewards starting the PvP season September 2021. Players will get 100 PvP Coins for reaching the ladder at season end. The remaining coins will be distributed based on the wins and losses. The following calculation will be used: Wins - losses = PvP Coins. This won't apply if you have more losses than wins. We still discuss whether Random Ranked rating /2 should be added to the guild ladder. Feel free to give your opinion about that! Planned additions for the PvP window in the future: Match History: Opponent, Winner, RatingChange, Date Most-used Pokemon: Rank, Pokemon, Count, Percentage, Win% Longest win-streak (maybe even in this update, depends on the time left). Server fixes: Pixilated applies the 20% damage boost now. Defog removes Aurora Veil only on the targets side now. Fixed a Stealth Rock stuck bug. Fixed that happiness evo triggered on wrong actions. Fixed that the first encountered Pokemon in random battles give Pokedex entries. Will also remove all not obtainable Pokedex entries next maintenance. Fixed a use after free battle issue. Few small reworks, clean-ups and optimizations.
  4. Only solution I might be willing to offer would be that you can only use upper case for the first letter in each word and less than 50% of all letters to avoid space upper case spam. Everything else would only cause more work for moderation staffs as said above.

  7. Heyho, I currently work on the client to add ladders (OU/UU Ranked Ladder, Random Ranked Ladder, Friendly Battle Ladder). I am a bit stuck with how to add it but I was thinking about a new PvP window where I move all PvP data from the trainer card, ladders and potentially a few more things. For this, I want your opinions! What would you like to see there?

  14. All guild rename requested will be done with ladder resets starting this month. I'll do all current requests within the next 24 hours.
  15. I am not sure. I personally wouldn't mind but I don't know if we'll focus on this in the future instead of other projects. Right now, we miss man-power but in the future we might prioritize other art-projects. That's why I cannot promise anything.
  16. Heyho, female characters have smaller bodies than males in the game and we'd need to redo all gender-specific items to implement your suggestions. Right now, we do not have the man-power to do that and therefore I have deny your sugesstion.
  17. I'd like to use a color not used right now. Red is used by bosses, blue by staffs, green and yellow by NPCs afaict.
  18. I don't agree for several reasons but I am willing to move a few steps in your direction and change it so you cannot encounter your last opponent for x minutes. This way you should only encounter your last opponent if the PvP Queue is empty. EDIT: Forget it, you will be able to use /avoid_last_opponent to make it impossible to encounter your last opponent after the next server update. This command is only temporarily active until you logout.

However, next server update, guild leaders can toggle whether guild members can meet each other in OU-Ranked. /gavoidpvp true to make it impossible for guild members to meet each other in the PvP Queue. /gavoidpvp false to make it possible for guild members to meet each other in the PvP Queue. /gavoidpvp to check the current status.

  21. Heyho, I understand the annoyed feeling of getting repeatedly pmed for free stuff but that's exactly why I took the hassle to implement a permanent ignore list. You are always free to ignore these players!
  22. Can you list them cause most are checked with a contains checks. Let me give you an example: { "map": "Snowpoint", "comparer": "Contains", "tooltip": "Snowpoint City", "map_pos": [ -597, -294 ] } Every map with "Snowpoint" in the map name is shown on the World Map under the tooltip Snowpoint City. Therefore, all houses "Snowpoint House", Snowpoint Gym", "Snowpoint City House" and so on should be shown and only weirdly named houses such as "House1" in Vermilion City wouldn't be shown and need an extra entry. So either someone weirdly named all maps in Sinnoh or something weird is going on if you statement is correct.
  23. Heyho, all maps that aren't linked to a World Map position auto default to Pallet Town. I fixed a few. If you find more feel free to post them below so I can map them for the next client update.
  24. It's me, Mario, once more! It is absolutely correct that staffs should treat players with respect. Likewise, players should treat staffs and each other with respect. There are situations in which this does not happen and even leads to very unpleasant consequences. What I am about to say is by no means meant to be an excuse or to relativize what has been said, but I want players to see things from a different angle as well. Staffs are unpaid volunteers who support the game through their work and moderation staffs in particular get a lot of hatred for it. They are insulted, threatened, every comment is taken out of context and used against them. Signatures were revised to insult the respective person (<Example>), guilds were incited against a single person and lies about punishments were spreaded to make it look like power abuse. Even for their in-game staff rewards they get hated, insulted and even reported. All against normal players who have invested a lot of time in this game and have taken on tasks that were anything but fun. This is no criticism against the players who criticize staffs, I just think it would be nice if you could look at both sides of the coin. Furthermore, eNvy, your question confuses me. You ask Prehax why he is a staff even though he no longer actively plays the game, even though it was you who kept writing, tagging and questioning me about the game after you stopped playing the game. I think it's obvious to everyone that he is attached to the game and the community, wants to improve it, and likes to do staff work. That's probably the motivation of most staffs. That's at least what I'd like to think. As a final comment, I would like to inform everyone that Prehax has not yet addressed the points, because Keita asked or ordered him not to give an answer yet. He doesn't ignore or makes fun of the posts/topic.
  25. Shinies have their market and value due to the uncontrolable rarity/rng. The shiny auction was an exception that probably won't happen again. It was to get money out of the economy. We removed around one billion. But besides that, we won't touch shinies and forms. That's why I have to deny the suggestion.
