The explanation given was that the staff had to work harder on all the maps and such because the players could see all of it at once, it meant that they had to fill in everything and couldn't leave anything open for what the players could see. Just a general point to that, it's also called "STAFFview" not "PLAYERview"

PRO's Moderation Team is a group of staff who provide support for players and ensure that PRO is kept in order. As many of you may be able to realize, Vermillion City, and pokecenter, are the most popular, and thus most changing ones. Something i would like to request is rather not to constantly add stuff to vermillion, and change the map for the likes, but rather change somewhere else. For example, Sinnoh is one of the least populated regions, because once it's done there's nothing to do there other than a couple bosses, some dig spots, and quests. For that reason i would like to suggest that for future, more stuff be added to other regions, and not just have everything happen in vermillion. This would also prompt players to have more intention to beat the whole game and not just stop after hoenn. I understand that most people would think something to the effect of "this is pointless", but to be honest i just get bored of seeing everyone sitting in vermillion because it's the only place that gets stuff for it.

I like to say that people who used staff view didn't use it to admire the Visuals of the highly detailed pixel art that Pro does so well. People used it to get an advantage when moving though large maps, as so not to get lost. Not Inherently a bad thing but Staff meant for it to be used to Mapping purposes, not used for players to abuse. The staffview band aid was going to be ripped off sooner than later.

medicham will be in like 90% of the teams, while landorus is way more rare and hard to get/use, but those two are the most broken mons for sure

I dont know about a list but I have some things in mind you can do before entering Johto. Subway quest to unlock transportation for Kanto and Johto later on. Arcanine mount quest to get a free mount. Unlock Love Island by doing evolutions and some other stuff. Complete the Kanto dex and do some evolutions as it helps you out with getting legendary pokemon later on. Maybe there is other stuff to do but thats what I can think of at the moment. Also everything of those things is optional so its up to you.

Some people might have chosen a silly or embarrassing username when they first started, thinking they would not get into PRO that much, but after spending some time playing, they decided otherwise. -1 to decreasing the price of the name change to 100 coins. 1 cc to change a username is way too low.
