-1, i dont want to have to switch server just for catching something and have to come back, you guys are trying to struggle against multi account abusers, and you want to add something that will make people wanting a 2nd account minimum to get access to all features on both servers ( depends if you put like minun silver, plusle gold its fine since some players could transfer and make money with dex mons, but if that concerns legendaries and we can get for example lugia in silver, ho oh in gold it will be just annoying for a lot of players ) plus, would means also your friends will leave and come back again and again, and you will have too, its just splitting players for no reason, making them buy more cc for transfers, of course for staff point of view its a good thing. I just see annoying consequences doing this, making beginners struggle more for dex, have to buy more cc, making people have to transfer and be in a server they dont necessary have relations in, more reasons for players to say one server or the other is more likely prefered by staff, more potential bugs. All this for not making the game not really more interesting, i would rather like to discuss about how you want to put gen8 ingame, will PRO take another direction compared to original games, what's the plan for gen 7 pokés, , stuff like this, which i think is the most important New features could be a good thing, but they have to add something to the game, plus if you guys want less accounts per player, just try to create something that makes the game more interesting to play on 1 account, not the opposite2 points

if you could be able to click a button to use another repel other than having to click the button on the screen i feel like it would be a great quality of life change. its not too big of a deal but sometimes if you are watching a movie or video and hunting on the side you have to switch your attention every time just to click the yes1 point

i personally believe different spawns for each server will have a negative impact on several aspects of the game, lets say i'm a guild leader or even guild member on a certain server, i'll have to leave my guild for a month to transfer to the other server, or will be forced to use a cc to transfer back earlier, it will also affect the quests, for example there is a certain mega stone quest that requires both plusle and minun in addition to a few other pokemons which must be ot, one of those other pokemons is a rare pokemon that must have h.a, so the player has to add server transfer on top of that to be able to finish the quest?, not to mention that the full pokedex of certain regions is required to catch some of the legendary pokemons, also server transfers will most certainly affect pvp as well, this will make server transfers forced, so it's -1 for me.1 point

As a pokedex collector and silver server player (1k+ hours and 0 hours on gold) I don't like the idea of having exclusive pokemon for each server. For Lugia and Ho-oh it would kinda make sense but for rest of poke I don't see a point to split them between servers especialy when you need 335 evolutions for 3rd legendary bird. I have never traded any poke with other players for collection as I like to catch them all by myself. I am fine by different time as long the wq doesn't start in the middle of night so before I wake up it's already finished (if it's ingame time please ignore last sentence). I really like this game but some decisions can make the experience annoying. ( like forcing ppl to play on another server, trade or transfer poke and waste more time for something unnecessary) Also consider that not everyone has so much time to play or maybe plays other games too.1 point

The Shiny Hitmonlee trade was forced due to impossibilities in meeting. The Pokemon was transferred to @Crucifixuz from whom x3 Reroll Ticket and 1.9m have been removed and added to @KimStarz. Apologies for the delayed response and good luck in your sales.1 point

Well, I simply disagree. Maybe having this time gap of 12 hours between servers would be nice just for the sake of fancy, but any other features regarding exclusiveness I'm pretty feeling it'd create more problems than actually improve the game overall. And considering the problems bias in this opinion, this is where I think devs efforts could be better focused in providing the game with more MMO features to make it a bit more like "real life" in pokemon world. I mean, IMO it's the best Poke MMO around by far but still at some point everything narrows down to PVP and Poke hunting (i won't even metion PVE here cause in a sense it's a bridge for PVP afterall anyways), and these kinds of game should have more features for players having a good time with their friends and feel that world is more than just battles and completing poke dex (that's what the original offline games are!). So basically, just quoting an example right away about that, till the present time we still don't have Hoenn Poke Blocks Contest, this is really a cool thing people could be enjoying altogether ingame, rather then just logging for grinding for battles. And I can't even supose the reason why there's no focus on implementing that. More contests could be included ingame like Fishing maybe (more ideas could be added here), instead of have it only promoted by community members. Everyone comes to play for beating story mode and getting the best pokemons they want, but the thing is at some point people still wanna play but do different things. And these "different things" that I still feel PRO heavily lacks. It not only needs to be different but enable people to enjoy together. That's the big deal of a massive multiplayer game online, specially in one involving Pokemon world.1 point

I totally disagree with that change ,its better to use your time and resources to implemend other things that need attention. First of all time difference is like zero impact in the game experience no one cares if there is a difference between the server regarding time and also spawns as people mentioned before it comes closer to handheld games which was just a money trick to buy both titles. We already have issues like @Norex (sorry for tag )mentioned before affecting guilds cause players are hopping between servers,we dont need another headache tbh Imo you should focus on merging the 2 servers, not trying to create differences between them and if the merge isnt possible then make something worthy. Hard -1 from me to conclude it.1 point

I don't like the idea of server exclusives at all. The reason why Version exclusives exist is that Gamefreak wanted to encourage players to trade between each other, or just plain make players buy both versions. There are other things they implemented to encourage trading, such as starters, choice Pokemons (like Fossils) and trade-evolution Pokemons. And because breeding exists, you just need to get any single Pokemon of the specie to get started on creating your perfect Pokemon if you need to. However, here, this is a completely different situation. Trading is already a common activity between players, although in a different shape than in the original games. We still got trade evolutions, but we also got commerce type of trades, such as daycaring, selling and lending. Sure, server exclusives encourages another type of trading... But it comes with a huge bad point. If you want to trade server exclusives, someone HAS to do a server transfer. A server transfer means that you quit the current guild you're in, and enter a community for which you may not know anyone. Some players are totally fine with this, but for players who really don't want to leave their guild, even temporarily... Their only option is to wait for someone to show up and sell the Pokemon they need, with the very stats that you want since we have no breeding or alternative feature. And because they're exclusive, chances are they'll purposedly set a higher price, making it not worth it to buy. As a player, this is NOT a situation I want to be in. It's just frustration. As for the other possible reason of version exclusives, being making more money... Well, as far as I know, we still have a good enough income to pay for the servers, no? We have plenty of things to sell in the cash shop, many players buy coin capsules to resell them ingame for money, it's looking pretty healthy to me. And besides, if that's the only reason, you're just going to make the playerbase more angry and distrustful than it already is. There's other consequences to this feature, which is unrelated to reasons why you'd want this in... If we implement server exclusives, it will become more complicated to do new modifications to our server. Server merges means we have to get rid of the feature at the same time. Adding a new server means we need to split more exclusives. And finally, it makes the server choice more annoying for the players as well. Will the exclusives be displayed before you even select a server? If they're shown, it's kinda too much information when you're just starting out (and could also scare players away because they don't like that feature). If they're not shown, you're making an uninformed choice and may regret your choice of server. And regardless of these, if you're joining a group of friend, but they're on a server where your version exclusive does not spawn... That already takes a big hit at your motivation to even start the game. So please, don't implement this. There's too many bad consequences, and its only purposes are already fulfilled by other features. As for time differences... I don't really mind, server times are already completely out of sync with real time, and it doesn't change availability... Although it could encourage players to create alts for hunting in succession in both servers. Since we want to discourage alts, I don't think that would be a good feature. That said, if you do implement it, just make sure that you don't break time-based quests in doing so.1 point

Sure. But then lets take Pokemon like Greninja and Eevee, just to have a other extreme. It wouldnt feel for me as an thing that makes the game more fun. Despite the fact that some ppl may be frustrated even that they cant get their fav mon because they are on the wrong server (they can transver, but in the story you dont really want to). There is no 'twist' imo. Its just transfering to the other server in order to accomplish stuff you could do on your 'native' server as well. In which way does it make it more competitive? Im not streight against differences, but I dont get what makes those so fun.1 point

I agree with what Bash said, it would just make the game feel a bit more tedious than it needs to be. If you really want a certain uniqueness from each server, others' suggestions here of doing server specific events or event pokemon designs exclusive to only one server would be a good start. See how players react to that then go from there if you want to expand the idea. You can have certain mounts or accessories or costumes "native" to the server like a gold and silver uniform or something..1 point
-
If you want reasons and arguments against it, why dont you give some in favor it? Because I dont really see some. I cant think of a reason to make this time change at all. It would have like none impact on anything. Therefore I also wouldnt mind that tbh. But still: ?!?! What made different Pokemon on different handheld versions cool, is that you can trade with ppl who also play the game. We already have that tho - even on a whole different level beeing an mmo. Besides that, noone really cares much about Minum and Plusle too. It makes collecting unnessesary complicated imo. Because its no extra fun to make a server transfer, trade or hunt all mons, and transfer back. Maybe it would be cool to have different stuff on servers, but that what you suggested is weird and doest make the game more fun imo. Splitting up legends is also a bad idea because beeing able to have all legends is cooler than just beeing able to have half of them - because some bring that up.1 point
